But there passed by a wild beast that was in Lebanon, and trampled the thorn bush.(nasb) ======= 2 Kings 14:10 ============ 2Ki 14:10 Thou hast indeed smitten Edom, and thine heart hath lifted thee up: glory of this, and tarry at home: for why shouldest thou meddle to thy hurt, that thou shouldest fall, even thou, and Judah with thee?(KJV) 2 Kings 14:10 Because thou hast smitten Edom, thine heart hath made thee proud: bragge of glory, & tary at home. Pourquoi t'engager dans une malheureuse entreprise, qui amènerait ta ruine et celle de Juda?(FR) 10 ׃14 הַכֵּ֤ה הִכִּ֙יתָ֙ אֶת־אֱד֔וֹם וּֽנְשָׂאֲךָ֖ לִבֶּ֑ךָ הִכָּבֵד֙ וְשֵׁ֣ב בְּבֵיתֶ֔ךָ וְלָ֤מָּה תִתְגָּרֶה֙ בְּרָעָ֔ה וְנָ֣פַלְתָּ֔ה אַתָּ֖ה וִיהוּדָ֥ה עִמָּֽךְ׃ Kings2 2Ki 14:10 You have indeed defeated Edom, and your heart has become proud. Enjoy your glory and stay at home; for why should you provoke trouble so that you, even you, would fall, and Judah with you?"(nasb) ======= 2 Kings 14:11 ============ 2Ki 14:11 But Amaziah would not hear.
