(nasb) ======= 2 Kings 17:6 ============ 2Ki 17:6 In the ninth year of Hoshea the king of Assyria took Samaria, and carried Israel away into Assyria, and placed them in Halah and in Habor by the river of Gozan, and in the cities of the Medes.(KJV) 2 Kings 17:6 In the ninth yeere of Hoshea, the King of Asshur tooke Samaria, and caryed Israel away vnto Asshur, and put them in Halah, and in Habor by the riuer of Gozan, & in the cities of the Medes.(Geneva) 2 Rois 17:6 La neuvième année d'Osée, le roi d'Assyrie prit Samarie, et emmena Israël captif en Assyrie. Ils se bâtirent des hauts lieux dans toutes leurs villes, depuis les tours des gardes jusqu'aux villes fortes.(FR) 9 ׃17 וַיְחַפְּא֣וּ בְנֵֽי־יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל דְּבָרִים֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר לֹא־כֵ֔ן עַל־יְהוָ֖ה אֱלֹהֵיהֶ֑ם וַיִּבְנ֨וּ לָהֶ֤ם בָּמוֹת֙ בְּכָל־עָ֣רֵיהֶ֔ם מִמִּגְדַּ֥ל נוֹצְרִ֖ים עַד־עִ֥יר מִבְצָֽר׃ Kings2 2Ki 17:9 The sons of Israel did things secretly which were not right against the Lord their God. Moreover, they built for themselves high places in all their towns, from watchtower to fortified city.(nasb) ======= 2 Kings 17:10 ============ 2Ki 17:10 And they set them up images and groves in every high hill, and under every green tree:(KJV) 2 Kings 17:10 And had made them images and groues vpon euery hie hill, and vnder euery greene tree,(Geneva) 2 Rois 17:10 Ils se dressèrent des statues et des idoles sur toute colline élevée et sous tout arbre vert.(FR) 10 ׃17 וַיַּצִּ֧בוּ לָהֶ֛ם מַצֵּב֖וֹת וַאֲשֵׁרִ֑ים עַ֚ל כָּל־גִּבְעָ֣ה גְבֹהָ֔ה וְתַ֖חַת כָּל־עֵ֥ץ רַעֲנָֽן׃ Kings2 2Ki 17:10 They set for themselves sacred pillars and Asherim on every high hill and under every green tree,(nasb) ======= 2 Kings 17:11 ============ 2Ki 17:11 And there they burnt incense in all the high places, as did the heathen whom the LORD carried away before them; and wrought wicked things to provoke the LORD to anger:(KJV) 2 Kings 17:11 And there burnt incense in all the hie places, as did the heathen, whom the Lord had taken away before them, and wrought wicked things to anger the Lord,(Geneva) 2 Rois 17:11 Et là ils brûlèrent des parfums sur tous les hauts lieux, comme les nations que l'Eternel avait chassées devant eux, et ils firent des choses mauvaises, par lesquelles ils irritèrent l'Eternel.(FR) 11 ׃17 וַיְקַטְּרוּ־שָׁם֙ בְּכָל־בָּמ֔וֹת כַּגּוֹיִ֕ם אֲשֶׁר־הֶגְלָ֥ה יְהוָ֖ה מִפְּנֵיהֶ֑ם וַֽיַּעֲשׂוּ֙ דְּבָרִ֣ים רָעִ֔ים לְהַכְעִ֖יס אֶת־יְהוָֽה׃ Kings2 2Ki 17:11 and there they burned incense on all the high places as the nations did which the Lord had carried away to exile before them; and they did evil things provoking the Lord.(nasb) ======= 2 Kings 17:12 ============ 2Ki 17:12 For they served idols, whereof the LORD had said unto them, Ye shall not do this thing.(KJV) 2 Kings 17:12 And serued idoles: whereof the Lorde had sayd vnto them, Ye shal do no such thing,(Geneva) 2 Rois 17:12 Ils servirent les idoles dont l'Eternel leur avait dit: Vous ne ferez pas cela.(FR) 12 ׃17 וַיַּֽעַבְד֖וּ הַגִּלֻּלִ֑ים אֲשֶׁ֨ר אָמַ֤ר יְהוָה֙ לָהֶ֔ם לֹ֥א תַעֲשׂ֖וּ אֶת־הַדָּבָ֥ר הַזֶּֽה׃ Kings2 2Ki 17:12 They served idols, concerning which the Lord had said to them, "You shall not do this thing."(nasb) ======= 2 Kings 17:13 ============ 2Ki 17:13 Yet the LORD testified against Israel, and against Judah, by all the prophets, and by all the seers, saying, Turn ye from your evil ways, and keep my commandments and my statutes, according to all the law which I commanded your fathers, and which I sent to you by my servants the prophets.(KJV) 2 Kings 17:13 Notwithstanding the Lord testified to Israel, and to Iudah by all the Prophets, & by all the Seers, saying, Turne from your euill wayes, and keepe my commandements & my statutes, according to all the Lawe, which I commanded your fathers, and which I sent to you by my seruants the Prophets.(Geneva) 2 Rois 17:13 L'Eternel fit avertir Israël et Juda par tous ses prophètes, par tous les voyants, et leur dit: Revenez de vos mauvaises voies, et observez mes commandements et mes ordonnances, en suivant entièrement la loi que j'ai prescrite à vos pères et que je vous ai envoyée par mes serviteurs les prophètes.(FR) 13 ׃17 וַיָּ֣עַד יְהוָ֡ה בְּיִשְׂרָאֵ֣ל וּבִיהוּדָ֡ה בְּיַד֩ כָּל־*נביאו **נְבִיאֵ֨י כָל־חֹזֶ֜ה לֵאמֹ֗ר שֻׁ֜֠בוּ מִדַּרְכֵיכֶ֤ם הָֽרָעִים֙ וְשִׁמְרוּ֙ מִצְוֺתַ֣י חֻקּוֹתַ֔י כְּכָ֨ל־הַתּוֹרָ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֥ר צִוִּ֖יתִי אֶת־אֲבֹֽתֵיכֶ֑ם וֽ͏ַאֲשֶׁר֙ שָׁלַ֣חְתִּי אֲלֵיכֶ֔ם בְּיַ֖ד עֲבָדַ֥י הַנְּבִיאִֽים׃ Kings2 2Ki 17:13 Yet the Lord warned Israel and Judah through all His prophets and every seer, saying, "Turn from your evil ways and keep My commandments, My statutes according to all the law which I commanded your fathers, and which I sent to you through My servants the prophets."(nasb) ======= 2 Kings 17:14 ============ 2Ki 17:14 Notwithstanding they would not hear, but hardened their necks, like to the neck of their fathers, that did not believe in the LORD their God.(KJV) 2 Kings 17:14 Neuerthelesse they would not obey, but hardened their neckes, like to the neckes of their fathers, that did not beleeue in the Lorde their God.(Geneva) 2 Rois 17:14 Mais ils n'écoutèrent point, et ils roidirent leur cou, comme leurs pères, qui n'avaient pas cru en l'Eternel, leur Dieu.(FR) 14 ׃17 וְלֹ֖א שָׁמֵ֑עוּ וַיַּקְשׁ֤וּ אֶת־עָרְפָּם֙ כְּעֹ֣רֶף אֲבוֹתָ֔ם אֲשֶׁר֙ לֹ֣א הֶאֱמִ֔ינוּ בַּֽיהוָ֖ה אֱלֹהֵיהֶֽם׃ Kings2 2Ki 17:14 However, they did not listen, but stiffened their neck like their fathers, who did not believe in the Lord their God.(nasb) ======= 2 Kings 17:15 ============ 2Ki 17:15 And they rejected his statutes, and his covenant that he made with their fathers, and his testimonies which he testified against them; and they followed vanity, and became vain, and went after the heathen that were round about them, concerning whom the LORD had charged them, that they should not do like them.(KJV) 2 Kings 17:15 And they refused his statutes and his couenant, that he made with their fathers, & his testimonies (wherewith he witnessed vnto them) and they followed vanitie, and became vaine, and followed the heathen that were round about them: concerning whome the Lord had charged them, that they should not do like them.(Geneva) 2 Rois 17:15 Ils rejetèrent ses lois, l'alliance qu'il avait faite avec leurs pères, et les avertissements qu'il leur avait adressés. Ils allèrent après des choses de néant et ne furent eux-mêmes que néant, et après les nations qui les entouraient et que l'Eternel leur avait défendu d'imiter.(FR) 15 ׃17 וַיִּמְאֲס֣וּ אֶת־חֻקָּ֗יו וְאֶת־בְּרִיתוֹ֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר כָּרַ֣ת אֶת־אֲבוֹתָ֔ם וְאֵת֙ עֵֽדְוֺתָ֔יו אֲשֶׁ֥ר הֵעִ֖יד בָּ֑ם וַיֵּ֨לְכוּ אַחֲרֵ֤י הַהֶ֙בֶל֙ וַיֶּהְבָּ֔לוּ וְאַחֲרֵ֤י הַגּוֹיִם֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר סְבִֽיבֹתָ֔ם אֲשֶׁ֨ר צִוָּ֤ה יְהוָה֙ אֹתָ֔ם לְבִלְתִּ֖י עֲשׂ֥וֹת כָּהֶֽם׃ Kings2 2Ki 17:15 They rejected His statutes and His covenant which He made with their fathers and His warnings with which He warned them. And they followed vanity and became vain, and went after the nations which surrounded them, concerning which the Lord had commanded them not to do like them.(nasb) ======= 2 Kings 17:16 ============ 2Ki 17:16 And they left all the commandments of the LORD their God, and made them molten images, even two calves, and made a grove, and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served Baal.(KJV) 2 Kings 17:16 Finally they left all the commaundements of the Lorde their God, and made them molten images, euen two calues, and made a groue, and worshipped all the hoste of heauen, and serued Baal.(Geneva) 2 Rois 17:16 Ils abandonnèrent tous les commandements de l'Eternel, leur Dieu, ils se firent deux veaux en fonte, ils fabriquèrent des idoles d'Astarté, ils se prosternèrent devant toute l'armée des cieux, et ils servirent Baal.(FR) 16 ׃17 וַיַּעַזְב֗וּ אֶת־כָּל־מִצְוֺת֙ יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֵיהֶ֔ם וַיַּעֲשׂ֥וּ לָהֶ֛ם מַסֵּכָ֖ה *שנים **שְׁנֵ֣י עֲגָלִ֑ים וַיַּעֲשׂ֣וּ אֲשֵׁירָ֗ה וַיִּֽשְׁתַּחֲווּ֙ לְכָל־צְבָ֣א הַשָּׁמַ֔יִם וַיַּעַבְד֖וּ אֶת־הַבָּֽעַל׃ Kings2 2Ki 17:16 They forsook all the commandments of the Lord their God and made for themselves molten images, even two calves, and made an Asherah and worshiped all the host of heaven and served Baal.(nasb) ======= 2 Kings 17:17 ============ 2Ki 17:17 And they caused their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire, and used divination and enchantments, and sold themselves to do evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger.(KJV) 2 Kings 17:17 And they made their sonnes and their daughters passe thorowe the fire, and vsed witchcraft and inchantments, yea, solde them selues to doe euill in the sight of the Lord, to anger him.(Geneva) 2 Rois 17:17 Ils firent passer par le feu leurs fils et leurs filles, ils se livrèrent à la divination et aux enchantements, et ils se vendirent pour faire ce qui est mal aux yeux de l'Eternel, afin de l'irriter.(FR) 17 ׃17 וַֽ֠יַּעֲבִירוּ אֶת־בְּנֵיהֶ֤ם וְאֶת־בְּנֽוֹתֵיהֶם֙ בָּאֵ֔שׁ וַיִּקְסְמ֥וּ קְסָמִ֖ים וַיְנַחֵ֑שׁוּ וַיִּֽתְמַכְּר֗וּ לַעֲשׂ֥וֹת הָרַ֛ע בְּעֵינֵ֥י יְהוָ֖ה לְהַכְעִיסֽוֹ׃ Kings2 2Ki 17:17 Then they made their sons and their daughters pass through the fire, and practiced divination and enchantments, and sold themselves to do evil in the sight of the Lord, provoking Him.(nasb) ======= 2 Kings 17:18 ============ 2Ki 17:18 Therefore the LORD was very angry with Israel, and removed them out of his sight: there was none left but the tribe of Judah only.(KJV) 2 Kings 17:18 Therefore the Lord was exceeding wroth with Israel, and put them out of his sight, and none was left but the tribe of Iudah onely.(Geneva) 2 Rois 17:18 Aussi l'Eternel s'est-il fortement irrité contre Israël, et les a-t-il éloignés de sa face. -Il n'est resté que la seule tribu de Juda.(FR) 18 ׃17 וַיִּתְאַנַּ֨ף יְהוָ֤ה מְאֹד֙ בְּיִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל וַיְסִרֵ֖ם מֵעַ֣ל פָּנָ֑יו לֹ֣א נִשְׁאַ֔ר רַ֛ק שֵׁ֥בֶט יְהוּדָ֖ה לְבַדּֽוֹ׃ Kings2 2Ki 17:18 So the Lord was very angry with Israel and removed them from His sight; none was left except the tribe of Judah.(nasb) ======= 2 Kings 17:19 ============ 2Ki 17:19 Also Judah kept not the commandments of the LORD their God, but walked in the statutes of Israel which they made.(KJV) 2 Kings 17:19 Yet Iudah kept not the commandements of the Lord their God, but walked according to the facion of Israel, which they vsed.(Geneva) 2 Rois 17:19 Juda même n'avait pas gardé les commandements de l'Eternel, son Dieu, et ils avaient suivi les coutumes établies par Israël. -(FR) 19 ׃17 גַּם־יְהוּדָ֕ה לֹ֣א שָׁמַ֔ר אֶת־מִצְוֺ֖ת יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֵיהֶ֑ם וַיֵּ֣לְכ֔וּ בְּחֻקּ֥וֹת יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל אֲשֶׁ֥ר עָשֽׂוּ׃ Kings2 2Ki 17:19 Also Judah did not keep the commandments of the Lord their God, but walked in the customs which Israel had introduced.(nasb) ======= 2 Kings 17:20 ============ 2Ki 17:20 And the LORD rejected all the seed of Israel, and afflicted them, and delivered them into the hand of spoilers, until he had cast them out of his sight.(KJV) 2 Kings 17:20 Therefore the Lorde cast off all the seede of Israel, and afflicted them, and deliuered them into the handes of spoylers, vntill he had cast them out of his sight.(Geneva) 2 Rois 17:20 L'Eternel a rejeté toute la race d'Israël;
