To whom will ye flee for helpe? And where will ye leaue your glorie?(Geneva) Ésaïe 10:3 Que ferez-vous au jour du châtiment, Et de la ruine qui du lointain fondra sur vous? Vers qui fuirez-vous, pour avoir du secours, Et où laisserez-vous votre gloire?(FR) 3 ׃10 וּמַֽה־תַּעֲשׂוּ֙ לְי֣וֹם פְּקֻדָּ֔ה וּלְשׁוֹאָ֖ה מִמֶּרְחָ֣ק תָּב֑וֹא עַל־מִי֙ תָּנ֣וּסוּ לְעֶזְרָ֔ה וְאָ֥נָה תַעַזְב֖וּ כְּבוֹדְכֶֽם׃ Isaiah Isa 10:3 Now what will you do in the day of punishment, And in the devastation which will come from afar? To whom will you flee for help? And where will you leave your wealth? (nasb) ======= Isaiah 10:4 ============ Isa 10:4 Without me they shall bow down under the prisoners, and they shall fall under the slain. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.(KJV) Isaiah 10:4 Without me euery one shall fall among them that are bound, and they shall fall downe among the slayne: yet for all this his wrath is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.(Geneva) Ésaïe 10:4 Les uns seront courbés parmi les captifs, Les autres tomberont parmi les morts. In spite of all this, His anger does not turn away And His hand is still stretched out. La verge dans sa main, c'est l'instrument de ma fureur.(FR) 5 ׃10 ה֥וֹי אַשּׁ֖וּר שֵׁ֣בֶט אַפִּ֑י וּמַטֶּה־ה֥וּא בְיָדָ֖ם זַעְמִֽי׃ Isaiah Isa 10:5 Woe to Assyria, the rod of My anger And the staff in whose hands is My indignation, (nasb) ======= Isaiah 10:6 ============ Isa 10:6 I will send him against an hypocritical nation, and against the people of my wrath will I give him a charge, to take the spoil, and to take the prey, and to tread them down like the mire of the streets.(KJV) Isaiah 10:6 I will sende him to a dissembling nation, and I will giue him a charge against the people of my wrath to take the spoyle and to take the pray, and to treade them vnder feete like the mire in the streete.(Geneva) Ésaïe 10:6 Je l'ai lâché contre une nation impie, Je l'ai fait marcher contre le peuple de mon courroux, Pour qu'il se livre au pillage et fasse du butin, Pour qu'il le foule aux pieds comme la boue des rues.(FR) 6 ׃10 בְּג֤וֹי חָנֵף֙ אֲשַׁלְּחֶ֔נּוּ וְעַל־עַ֥ם עֶבְרָתִ֖י אֲצַוֶּ֑נּוּ לִשְׁלֹ֤ל שָׁלָל֙ וְלָבֹ֣ז בַּ֔ז *ולשימו **וּלְשׂוּמ֥וֹ מִרְמָ֖ס כְּחֹ֥מֶר חוּצֽוֹת׃ Isaiah Isa 10:6 I send it against a godless nation And commission it against the people of My fury To capture booty and to seize plunder, And to trample them down like mud in the streets. or shall the saw magnify itself against him that shaketh it? as if the rod should shake itself against them that lift it up, or as if the staff should lift up itself, as if it were no wood.(KJV) Isaiah 10:15 Shall the axe boast it selfe against him that heweth therewith? Is the saw to exalt itself over the one who wields it? That would be like a club wielding those who lift it, Or like a rod lifting him who is not wood. (nasb) ======= Isaiah 10:18 ============ Isa 10:18 And shall consume the glory of his forest, and of his fruitful field, both soul and body: and they shall be as when a standard-bearer fainteth.(KJV) Isaiah 10:18 And shall consume the glory of his forest, and of his fruitfull fieldes both soule and flesh: and he shalbe as ye fainting of a standard bearer.(Geneva) Ésaïe 10:18 Qui consumera, corps et âme, La magnificence de sa forêt et de ses campagnes. (nasb) ======= Isaiah 10:22 ============ Isa 10:22 For though thy people Israel be as the sand of the sea, yet a remnant of them shall return: the consumption decreed shall overflow with righteousness.(KJV) Isaiah 10:22 For though thy people, O Israel, be as the sand of the sea, yet shall the remnant of them returne. (nasb) ======= Isaiah 10:23 ============ Isa 10:23 For the Lord GOD of hosts shall make a consumption, even determined, in the midst of all the land.(KJV) Isaiah 10:23 For the Lord God of hostes shall make the consumption, euen determined, in the middes of all the land.(Geneva) Ésaïe 10:23 Et cette destruction qui a été résolue, Le Seigneur, l'Eternel des armées, l'accomplira dans tout le pays.(FR) 23 ׃10 כִּ֥י כָלָ֖ה וְנֶחֱרָצָ֑ה אֲדֹנָ֤י יְהוִה֙ צְבָא֔וֹת עֹשֶׂ֖ה בְּקֶ֥רֶב כָּל־הָאָֽרֶץ׃ ס Isaiah Isa 10:23 For a complete destruction, one that is decreed, the Lord God of hosts will execute in the midst of the whole land.
