Today's Date: ======= Jeremiah 29:1 ============ Jer 29:1 Now these are the words of the letter that Jeremiah the prophet sent from Jerusalem unto the residue of the elders which were carried away captives, and to the priests, and to the prophets, and to all the people whom Nebuchadnezzar had carried away captive from Jerusalem to Babylon;(KJV) Jeremiah 29:1 Now these are the wordes of the booke that Ieremiah the Prophet sent from Ierusalem vnto the residue of the Elders which were caryed away captiues, and to the Priestes, and to the Prophets, and to all the people whome Nebuchad-nezzar had caried away captiue from Ierusalem to Babel:(Geneva) Jérémie 29:1 Voici le contenu de la lettre que Jérémie, le prophète, envoya de Jérusalem au reste des anciens en captivité, aux sacrificateurs, aux prophètes, et à tout le peuple, que Nebucadnetsar avait emmenés captifs de Jérusalem à Babylone,(FR) 1 ׃29 וְאֵ֙לֶּה֙ דִּבְרֵ֣י הַסֵּ֔פֶר אֲשֶׁ֥ר שָׁלַ֛ח יִרְמְיָ֥ה הַנָּבִ֖יא מִירוּשָׁלָ֑͏ִם אֶל־יֶ֜תֶר זִקְנֵ֣י הַגּוֹלָ֗ה וְאֶל־הַכֹּהֲנִ֤ים וְאֶל־הַנְּבִיאִים֙ וְאֶל־כָּל־הָעָ֔ם אֲשֶׁ֨ר הֶגְלָ֧ה נְבֽוּכַדְנֶאצַּ֛ר מִירוּשָׁלַ֖͏ִם בָּבֶֽלָה׃ Jeremiah Jer 29:1 Now these are the words of the letter which Jeremiah the prophet sent from Jerusalem to the rest of the elders of the exile, the priests, the prophets and all the people whom Nebuchadnezzar had taken into exile from Jerusalem to Babylon. (nasb) ======= Jeremiah 29:2 ============ Jer 29:2 (After that Jeconiah the king, and the queen, and the eunuchs, the princes of Judah and Jerusalem, and the carpenters, and the smiths, were departed from Jerusalem;)(KJV) Jeremiah 29:2 (After that Ieconiah the King, and the Queene, and the eunuches, the princes of Iudah, and of Ierusalem, and the workemen, and cunning men were departed from Ierusalem)(Geneva) Jérémie 29:2 après que le roi Jeconia, la reine, les eunuques, les chefs de Juda et de Jérusalem, les charpentiers et les serruriers, furent sortis de Jérusalem.(FR) 2 ׃29 אַחֲרֵ֣י צֵ֣את יְכָנְיָֽה־הַ֠מֶּלֶךְ וְהַגְּבִירָ֨ה וְהַסָּרִיסִ֜ים שָׂרֵ֨י יְהוּדָ֧ה וִירוּשָׁלַ֛͏ִם וְהֶחָרָ֥שׁ וְהַמַּסְגֵּ֖ר מִירוּשָׁלָֽ͏ִם׃ Jeremiah Jer 29:2 (This was after King Jeconiah and the queen mother, the court officials, the princes of Judah and Jerusalem, the craftsmen and the smiths had departed from Jerusalem. )(nasb) ======= Jeremiah 29:3 ============ Jer 29:3 By the hand of Elasah the son of Shaphan, and Gemariah the son of Hilkiah, (whom Zedekiah king of Judah sent unto Babylon to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon) saying,(KJV) Jeremiah 29:3 By the hand of Elasah the sonne of Shaphan and Gemariah the sonne of Hilkiah, (whom Zedekiah King of Iudah sent vnto Babel to Nebuchad-nezzar King of Babel) saying,(Geneva) Jérémie 29:3 Il la remit à Eleasa, fils de Schaphan, et à Guemaria, fils de Hilkija, envoyés à Babylone par Sédécias, roi de Juda, auprès de Nebucadnetsar, roi de Babylone. Elle était ainsi conçue:(FR) 3 ׃29 בְּיַד֙ אֶלְעָשָׂ֣ה בֶן־שָׁפָ֔ן וּגְמַרְיָ֖ה בֶּן־חִלְקִיָּ֑ה אֲשֶׁ֨ר שָׁלַ֜ח צִדְקִיָּ֣ה מֶֽלֶךְ־יְהוּדָ֗ה אֶל־נְבוּכַדְנֶאצַּ֛ר מֶ֥לֶךְ בָּבֶ֖ל בָּבֶ֥לָה לֵאמֹֽר׃ ס Jeremiah Jer 29:3 The letter was sent by the hand of Elasah the son of Shaphan, and Gemariah the son of Hilkiah, whom Zedekiah king of Judah sent to Babylon to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, saying, (nasb) ======= Jeremiah 29:4 ============ Jer 29:4 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, unto all that are carried away captives, whom I have caused to be carried away from Jerusalem unto Babylon;(KJV) Jeremiah 29:4 Thus hath the Lorde of hostes the God of Israel spoken vnto all that are caryed away captiues, whome I haue caused to be caryed away captiues from Ierusalem vnto Babel:(Geneva) Jérémie 29:4 Ainsi parle l'Eternel des armées, le Dieu d'Israël, à tous les captifs que j'ai emmenés de Jérusalem à Babylone:(FR) 4 ׃29 כֹּ֥ה אָמַ֛ר יְהוָ֥ה צְבָא֖וֹת אֱלֹהֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל לְכָל־הַ֨גּוֹלָ֔ה אֲשֶׁר־הִגְלֵ֥יתִי מִירוּשָׁלַ֖͏ִם בָּבֶֽלָה׃ Jeremiah Jer 29:4 "Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, to all the exiles whom I have sent into exile from Jerusalem to Babylon, (nasb) ======= Jeremiah 29:5 ============ Jer 29:5 Build ye houses, and dwell in them; and plant gardens, and eat the fruit of them;(KJV) Jeremiah 29:5 Buylde you houses to dwell in, and plant you gardens, and eate the fruites of them.(Geneva) Jérémie 29:5 Bâtissez des maisons, et habitez-les; plantez des jardins, et mangez-en les fruits.(FR) 5 ׃29 בְּנ֥וּ בָתִּ֖ים וְשֵׁ֑בוּ וְנִטְע֣וּ גַנּ֔וֹת וְאִכְל֖וּ אֶת־פִּרְיָֽן׃ Jeremiah Jer 29:5 'Build houses and live in them; and plant gardens and eat their produce. (nasb) ======= Jeremiah 29:6 ============ Jer 29:6 Take ye wives, and beget sons and daughters; and take wives for your sons, and give your daughters to husbands, that they may bear sons and daughters; that ye may be increased there, and not diminished.(KJV) Jeremiah 29:6 Take you wiues, and beget sonnes and daughters, and take wiues for your sonnes, and giue your daughters to husbands, that they may beare sonnes and daughters, that ye may bee increased there, and not diminished.(Geneva) Jérémie 29:6 Prenez des femmes, et engendrez des fils et des filles; prenez des femmes pour vos fils, et donnez des maris à vos filles, afin qu'elles enfantent des fils et des filles; multipliez là où vous êtes, et ne diminuez pas.(FR) 6 ׃29 קְח֣וּ נָשִׁ֗ים וְהוֹלִידוּ֮ בָּנִ֣ים וּבָנוֹת֒ וּקְח֨וּ לִבְנֵיכֶ֜ם נָשִׁ֗ים וְאֶת־בְּנֽוֹתֵיכֶם֙ תְּנ֣וּ לַֽאֲנָשִׁ֔ים וְתֵלַ֖דְנָה בָּנִ֣ים וּבָנ֑וֹת וּרְבוּ־שָׁ֖ם וְאַל־תִּמְעָֽטוּ׃ Jeremiah Jer 29:6 Take wives and become the fathers of sons and daughters, and take wives for your sons and give your daughters to husbands, that they may bear sons and daughters; and multiply there and do not decrease. (nasb) ======= Jeremiah 29:7 ============ Jer 29:7 And seek the peace of the city whither I have caused you to be carried away captives, and pray unto the LORD for it: for in the peace thereof shall ye have peace.(KJV) Jeremiah 29:7 And seeke the prosperitie of the citie, whither I haue caused you to be caried away captiues, and pray vnto the Lorde for it: for in the peace thereof shall you haue peace.(Geneva) Jérémie 29:7 Recherchez le bien de la ville où je vous ai menés en captivité, et priez l'Eternel en sa faveur, parce que votre bonheur dépend du sien.(FR) 7 ׃29 וְדִרְשׁ֞וּ אֶת־שְׁל֣וֹם הָעִ֗יר אֲשֶׁ֨ר הִגְלֵ֤יתִי אֶתְכֶם֙ שָׁ֔מָּה וְהִתְפַּֽלְל֥וּ בַעֲדָ֖הּ אֶל־יְהוָ֑ה כִּ֣י בִשְׁלוֹמָ֔הּ יִהְיֶ֥ה לָכֶ֖ם שָׁלֽוֹם׃ פ Jeremiah Jer 29:7 Seek the welfare of the city where I have sent you into exile, and pray to the Lord on its behalf; for in its welfare you will have welfare.'(nasb) ======= Jeremiah 29:8 ============ Jer 29:8 For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Let not your prophets and your diviners, that be in the midst of you, deceive you, neither hearken to your dreams which ye cause to be dreamed.(KJV) Jeremiah 29:8 For thus saith the Lord of hostes the God of Israel, Let not your prophets, and your southsayers that bee among you, deceiue you, neither giue eare to your dreames, which you dreame.(Geneva) Jérémie 29:8 Car ainsi parle l'Eternel des armées, le Dieu d'Israël: Ne vous laissez pas tromper par vos prophètes qui sont au milieu de vous, et par vos devins, n'écoutez pas vos songeurs dont vous provoquez les songes!(FR) 8 ׃29 כִּי֩ כֹ֨ה אָמַ֜ר יְהוָ֤ה צְבָאוֹת֙ אֱלֹהֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל אַל־יַשִּׁ֧יאוּ לָכֶ֛ם נְבִֽיאֵיכֶ֛[c]ם אֲשֶׁר־בְּקִרְבְּכֶ֖ם וְקֹֽסְמֵיכֶ֑ם וְאַֽל־תִּשְׁמְעוּ֙ אֶל־חֲלֹמֹ֣תֵיכֶ֔ם אֲשֶׁ֥ר אַתֶּ֖ם מַחְלְמִֽים׃ Jeremiah Jer 29:8 For thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, 'Do not let your prophets who are in your midst and your diviners deceive you, and do not listen to the dreams which they dream. (nasb) ======= Jeremiah 29:9 ============ Jer 29:9 For they prophesy falsely unto you in my name: I have not sent them, saith the LORD.(KJV) Jeremiah 29:9 For they prophecie you a lie in my Name: I haue not sent them, saith the Lorde.(Geneva) Jérémie 29:9 Car c'est le mensonge qu'ils vous prophétisent en mon nom. Je ne les ai point envoyés, dit l'Eternel.(FR) 9 ׃29 כִּ֣י בְשֶׁ֔קֶר הֵ֛ם נִבְּאִ֥ים לָכֶ֖ם בִּשְׁמִ֑י לֹ֥א שְׁלַחְתִּ֖ים נְאֻם־יְהוָֽה׃ ס Jeremiah Jer 29:9 For they prophesy falsely to you in My name; I have not sent them,' declares the Lord. (nasb) ======= Jeremiah 29:10 ============ Jer 29:10 For thus saith the LORD, That after seventy years be accomplished at Babylon I will visit you, and perform my good word toward you, in causing you to return to this place.(KJV) Jeremiah 29:10 But thus saith the Lorde, That after seuentie yeeres be accomplished at Babel, I will visite you, and performe my good promes toward you, and cause you to returne to this place.(Geneva) Jérémie 29:10 Mais voici ce que dit l'Eternel: Dès que soixante-dix ans seront écoulés pour Babylone, je me souviendrai de vous, et j'accomplirai à votre égard ma bonne parole, en vous ramenant dans ce lieu.(FR) 10 ׃29 כִּֽי־כֹה֙ אָמַ֣ר יְהוָ֔ה כִּ֠י לְפִ֞י מְלֹ֧את לְבָבֶ֛ל שִׁבְעִ֥ים שָׁנָ֖ה אֶפְקֹ֣ד אֶתְכֶ֑ם וַהֲקִמֹתִ֤י עֲלֵיכֶם֙ אֶת־דְּבָרִ֣י הַטּ֔וֹב לְהָשִׁ֣יב אֶתְכֶ֔ם אֶל־הַמָּק֖וֹם הַזֶּֽה׃ Jeremiah Jer 29:10 "For thus says the Lord, 'When seventy years have been completed for Babylon, I will visit you and fulfill My good word to you, to bring you back to this place. (nasb) ======= Jeremiah 29:11 ============ Jer 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.(KJV) Jeremiah 29:11 For I knowe the thoughtes, that I haue thought towards you, saith the Lorde, euen the thoughtes of peace, and not of trouble, to giue you an ende, and your hope.(Geneva) Jérémie 29:11 Car je connais les projets que j'ai formés sur vous, dit l'Eternel, projets de paix et non de malheur, afin de vous donner un avenir et de l'espérance.(FR) 11 ׃29 כִּי֩ אָנֹכִ֨י יָדַ֜עְתִּי אֶת־הַמַּחֲשָׁבֹ֗ת אֲשֶׁ֧ר אָנֹכִ֛י חֹשֵׁ֥ב עֲלֵיכֶ֖ם נְאֻם־יְהוָ֑ה מַחְשְׁב֤וֹת שָׁלוֹם֙ וְלֹ֣א לְרָעָ֔ה לָתֵ֥ת לָכֶ֖ם אַחֲרִ֥ית וְתִקְוָֽה׃ Jeremiah Jer 29:11 For I know the plans that I have for you,' declares the Lord, 'plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope. (nasb) ======= Jeremiah 29:12 ============ Jer 29:12 Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.(KJV) Jeremiah 29:12 Then shall you crie vnto mee, and ye shal go and pray vnto me, and I will heare you,(Geneva) Jérémie 29:12 Vous m'invoquerez, et vous partirez; vous me prierez, et je vous exaucerai.(FR) 12 ׃29 וּקְרָאתֶ֤ם אֹתִי֙ וַֽהֲלַכְתֶּ֔ם וְהִתְפַּלַּלְתֶּ֖ם אֵלָ֑י וְשָׁמַעְתִּ֖י אֲלֵיכֶֽם׃ Jeremiah Jer 29:12 Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. (nasb) ======= Jeremiah 29:13 ============ Jer 29:13 And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.(KJV) Jeremiah 29:13 And ye shall seeke mee and finde mee, because ye shall seeke mee with all your heart.(Geneva) Jérémie 29:13 Vous me chercherez, et vous me trouverez, si vous me cherchez de tout votre coeur.(FR) 13 ׃29 וּבִקַּשְׁתֶּ֥ם אֹתִ֖י וּמְצָאתֶ֑ם כִּ֥י תִדְרְשֻׁ֖נִי בְּכָל־לְבַבְכֶֽם׃ Jeremiah Jer 29:13 You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. (nasb) ======= Jeremiah 29:14 ============ Jer 29:14 And I will be found of you, saith the LORD: and I will turn away your captivity, and I will gather you from all the nations, and from all the places whither I have driven you, saith the LORD; and I will bring you again into the place whence I caused you to be carried away captive.(KJV) Jeremiah 29:14 And I wil be found of you, saith the Lord, and I will turne away your captiuitie, and I will gather you from all the nations, and from all the places, whither I haue cast you, saith the Lord, and will bring you againe vnto the place, whence I caused you to be caryed away captiue.(Geneva) Jérémie 29:14 Je me laisserai trouver par vous, dit l'Eternel, et je ramènerai vos captifs; je vous rassemblerai de toutes les nations et de tous les lieux où je vous ai chassés, dit l'Eternel, et je vous ramènerai dans le lieu d'où je vous ai fait aller en captivité.(FR) 14 ׃29 וְנִמְצֵ֣אתִי לָכֶם֮ נְאֻם־יְהוָה֒ וְשַׁבְתִּ֣י אֶת־*שביתכם **שְׁבוּתְכֶ֗ם וְקִבַּצְתִּ֣י אֶ֠תְכֶם מִֽכָּל־הַגּוֹיִ֞ם וּמִכָּל־הַמְּקוֹמ֗וֹת אֲשֶׁ֨ר הִדַּ֧חְתִּי אֶתְכֶ֛ם שָׁ֖ם נְאֻם־יְהוָ֑ה וַהֲשִׁבֹתִ֣י אֶתְכֶ֔ם אֶל־הַ֨מָּק֔וֹם אֲשֶׁר־הִגְלֵ֥יתִי אֶתְכֶ֖ם מִשָּֽׁם׃ Jeremiah Jer 29:14 I will be found by you,' declares the Lord, 'and I will restore your fortunes and will gather you from all the nations and from all the places where I have driven you,' declares the Lord, 'and I will bring you back to the place from where I sent you into exile.'(nasb) ======= Jeremiah 29:15 ============ Jer 29:15 Because ye have said, The LORD hath raised us up prophets in Babylon;(KJV) Jeremiah 29:15 Because ye haue sayd, The Lord hath raised vs vp Prophets in Babel,(Geneva) Jérémie 29:15 Cependant vous dites: Dieu nous a suscité des prophètes à Babylone!(FR) 15 ׃29 כִּ֖י אֲמַרְתֶּ֑ם הֵקִ֨ים לָ֧נוּ יְהוָ֛ה נְבִאִ֖ים בָּבֶֽלָה׃ ס Jeremiah Jer 29:15 "Because you have said, 'The Lord has raised up prophets for us in Babylon'--(nasb) ======= Jeremiah 29:16 ============ Jer 29:16 Know that thus saith the LORD of the king that sitteth upon the throne of David, and of all the people that dwelleth in this city, and of your brethren that are not gone forth with you into captivity;(KJV) Jeremiah 29:16 Therefore thus saith the Lorde of the King, that sitteth vpon the throne of Dauid, and of all the people, that dwell in this citie, your brethren that are not gone forth with you into captiuitie:(Geneva) Jérémie 29:16 Ainsi parle l'Eternel sur le roi qui occupe le trône de David, sur tout le peuple qui habite cette ville, sur vos frères qui ne sont point allés avec vous en captivité;(FR) 16 ׃29 כִּי־כֹ֣ה ׀ אָמַ֣ר יְהוָ֗ה אֶל־הַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ הַיּוֹשֵׁב֙ אֶל־כִּסֵּ֣א דָוִ֔ד וְאֶל־כָּל־הָעָ֔ם הַיּוֹשֵׁ֖ב בָּעִ֣יר הַזֹּ֑את אֲחֵיכֶ֕ם אֲשֶׁ֛ר לֹֽא־יָצְא֥וּ אִתְּכֶ֖ם בַּגּוֹלָֽה׃ Jeremiah Jer 29:16 for thus says the Lord concerning the king who sits on the throne of David, and concerning all the people who dwell in this city, your brothers who did not go with you into exile--(nasb) ======= Jeremiah 29:17 ============ Jer 29:17 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Behold, I will send upon them the sword, the famine, and the pestilence, and will make them like vile figs, that cannot be eaten, they are so evil.(KJV) Jeremiah 29:17 Euen thus sayth the Lorde of hostes, Beholde, I will sende vpon them the sworde, the famine, and the pestilence, and will make them like vile figges, that cannot bee eaten, they are so naughtie.(Geneva) Jérémie 29:17 ainsi parle l'Eternel des armées: Voici, j'enverrai parmi eux l'épée, la famine et la peste, et je les rendrai semblables à des figues affreuses qui ne peuvent être mangées à cause de leur mauvaise qualité.(FR) 17 ׃29 כֹּ֤ה אָמַר֙ יְהוָ֣ה צְבָא֔וֹת הִנְנִי֙ מְשַׁלֵּ֣חַ בָּ֔ם אֶת־הַחֶ֖רֶב אֶת־הָרָעָ֣ב וְאֶת־הַדָּ֑בֶר וְנָתַתִּ֣י אוֹתָ֗ם כַּתְּאֵנִים֙ הַשֹּׁ֣עָרִ֔ים אֲשֶׁ֥ר לֹא־תֵאָכַ֖לְנָה מֵרֹֽעַ׃ Jeremiah Jer 29:17 thus says the Lord of hosts, 'Behold, I am sending upon them the sword, famine and pestilence, and I will make them like split-open figs that cannot be eaten due to rottenness. (nasb) ======= Jeremiah 29:18 ============ Jer 29:18 And I will persecute them with the sword, with the famine, and with the pestilence, and will deliver them to be removed to all the kingdoms of the earth, to be a curse, and an astonishment, and an hissing, and a reproach, among all the nations whither I have driven them:(KJV) Jeremiah 29:18 And I will persecute them with the sword, with the famine, and with the pestilence: and I will make them a terror to all kingdomes of the earth, and a curse, and astonishment and an hissing, and a reproche among all the nations whither I haue cast them,(Geneva) Jérémie 29:18 Je les poursuivrai par l'épée, par la famine et par la peste, je les rendrai un objet d'effroi pour tous les royaumes de la terre, un sujet de malédiction, de désolation, de moquerie et d'opprobre, parmi toutes les nations où je les chasserai,(FR) 18 ׃29 וְרָֽדַפְתִּי֙ אַֽחֲרֵיהֶ֔ם בַּחֶ֖רֶב בָּרָעָ֣ב וּבַדָּ֑בֶר וּנְתַתִּ֨ים *לזועה **לְזַעֲוָ֜ה לְכֹ֣ל ׀ מַמְלְכ֣וֹת הָאָ֗רֶץ לְאָלָ֤ה וּלְשַׁמָּה֙ וְלִשְׁרֵקָ֣ה וּלְחֶרְפָּ֔ה בְּכָל־הַגּוֹיִ֖ם אֲשֶׁר־הִדַּחְתִּ֥ים שָֽׁם׃ Jeremiah Jer 29:18 I will pursue them with the sword, with famine and with pestilence; and I will make them a terror to all the kingdoms of the earth, to be a curse and a horror and a hissing, and a reproach among all the nations where I have driven them, (nasb) ======= Jeremiah 29:19 ============ Jer 29:19 Because they have not hearkened to my words, saith the LORD, which I sent unto them by my servants the prophets, rising up early and sending them; but ye would not hear, saith the LORD.(KJV) Jeremiah 29:19 Because they haue not hearde my words, saith the Lorde, which I sent vnto them by my seruantes the Prophetes, rising vp earely, and sending them, but yee woulde not heare, saith the Lorde.(Geneva) Jérémie 29:19 parce qu'ils n'ont pas écouté mes paroles, dit l'Eternel, eux à qui j'ai envoyé mes serviteurs, les prophètes, à qui je les ai envoyés dès le matin; et ils n'ont pas écouté, dit l'Eternel.(FR) 19 ׃29 תַּ֛חַת אֲשֶֽׁר־לֹא־שָׁמְע֥וּ אֶל־דְּבָרַ֖י נְאֻם־יְהוָ֑ה אֲשֶׁר֩ שָׁלַ֨חְתִּי אֲלֵיהֶ֜ם אֶת־עֲבָדַ֤י הַנְּבִאִים֙ הַשְׁכֵּ֣ם וְשָׁלֹ֔חַ וְלֹ֥א שְׁמַעְתֶּ֖ם נְאֻם־יְהוָֽה׃ Jeremiah Jer 29:19 because they have not listened to My words, 'declares the Lord, 'which I sent to them again and again by My servants the prophets; but you did not listen,' declares the Lord. (nasb) ======= Jeremiah 29:22 ============ Jer 29:22 And of them shall be taken up a curse by all the captivity of Judah which are in Babylon, saying, The LORD make thee like Zedekiah and like Ahab, whom the king of Babylon roasted in the fire;(KJV) Jeremiah 29:22 And al they of the captiuitie of Iudah, that are in Babel, shal take vp this curse against them, and say, The Lorde make thee like Zedekiah and like Ahab, whome the King of Babel burnt in the fire,(Geneva) Jérémie 29:22 On se servira d'eux comme d'un sujet de malédiction, parmi tous les captifs de Juda qui sont à Babylone; on dira: Que l'Eternel te traite comme Sédécias et comme Achab, que le roi de Babylone a fait rôtir au feu!(FR) 22 ׃29 וְלֻקַּ֤ח מֵהֶם֙ קְלָלָ֔ה לְכֹל֙ גָּל֣וּת יְהוּדָ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֥ר בְּבָבֶ֖ל לֵאמֹ֑ר יְשִֽׂמְךָ֤ יְהוָה֙ כְּצִדְקִיָּ֣הוּ וּכְאֶחָ֔ב אֲשֶׁר־קָלָ֥ם מֶֽלֶךְ־בָּבֶ֖ל בָּאֵֽשׁ׃ Jeremiah Jer 29:22 Because of them a curse will be used by all the exiles from Judah who are in Babylon, saying, "May the Lord make you like Zedekiah and like Ahab, whom the king of Babylon roasted in the fire, (nasb) ======= Jeremiah 29:23 ============ Jer 29:23 Because they have committed villany in Israel, and have committed adultery with their neighbours' wives, and have spoken lying words in my name, which I have not commanded them; even I know, and am a witness, saith the LORD.(KJV) Jeremiah 29:23 Because they haue committed vilenie in Israel, and haue committed adulterie with their neighbours wiues, and haue spoken lying words in my Name, which I haue not commaunded them, euen I knowe it, and testifie it, saith the Lorde.(Geneva) Jérémie 29:23 Et cela arrivera parce qu'ils ont commis une infamie en Israël, se livrant à l'adultère avec les femmes de leur prochain, et parce qu'ils ont dit des mensonges en mon nom, quand je ne leur avais point donné d'ordre.
