Today's Date: ======= Jeremiah 33:1 ============ Jer 33:1 Moreover the word of the LORD came unto Jeremiah the second time, while he was yet shut up in the court of the prison, saying,(KJV) Jeremiah 33:1 Moreouer, the worde of the Lord came vnto Ieremiah the second time (while he was yet shut vp in the court of prison) saying,(Geneva) Jérémie 33:1 La parole de l'Eternel fut adressée à Jérémie une seconde fois, en ces mots, pendant qu'il était encore enfermé dans la cour de la prison:(FR) 1 ׃33 וַיְהִ֧י דְבַר־יְהוָ֛ה אֶֽל־יִרְמְיָ֖הוּ שֵׁנִ֑ית וְהוּא֙ עוֹדֶ֣נּוּ עָצ֔וּר בַּחֲצַ֥ר הַמַּטָּרָ֖ה לֵאמֹֽר׃ Jeremiah Jer 33:1 Then the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah the second time, while he was still confined in the court of the guard, saying, (nasb) ======= Jeremiah 33:2 ============ Jer 33:2 Thus saith the LORD the maker thereof, the LORD that formed it, to establish it; the LORD is his name;(KJV) Jeremiah 33:2 Thus sayth the Lord, the maker thereof, the Lord that formed it, and established it, the Lord is his Name.(Geneva) Jérémie 33:2 Ainsi parle l'Eternel, qui fait ces choses, L'Eternel, qui les conçoit et les exécute, Lui, dont le nom est l'Eternel:(FR) 2 ׃33 כֹּֽה־אָמַ֥ר יְהוָ֖ה עֹשָׂ֑הּ יְהוָ֗ה יוֹצֵ֥ר אוֹתָ֛הּ לַהֲכִינָ֖הּ יְהוָ֥ה שְׁמֽוֹ׃ Jeremiah Jer 33:2 "Thus says the Lord who made the earth, the Lord who formed it to establish it, the Lord is His name, (nasb) ======= Jeremiah 33:3 ============ Jer 33:3 Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.(KJV) Jeremiah 33:3 Call vnto me, and I will answere thee, and shewe thee great and mightie things, which thou knowest not.(Geneva) Jérémie 33:3 Invoque-moi, et je te répondrai; Je t'annoncerai de grandes choses, des choses cachées, Que tu ne connais pas.(FR) 3 ׃33 קְרָ֥א אֵלַ֖י וְאֶעֱנֶ֑ךָּ וְאַגִּ֧ידָה לְּךָ֛ גְּדֹל֥וֹת וּבְצֻר֖וֹת לֹ֥א יְדַעְתָּֽם׃ ס Jeremiah Jer 33:3 'Call to Me and I will answer you, and I will tell you great and mighty things, which you do not know.'(nasb) ======= Jeremiah 33:4 ============ Jer 33:4 For thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel, concerning the houses of this city, and concerning the houses of the kings of Judah, which are thrown down by the mounts, and by the sword;(KJV) Jeremiah 33:4 For thus saith the Lord God of Israel, concerning the houses of this citie, and concerning the houses of the Kings of Iudah, which are destroyed by the mounts, and by the sword,(Geneva) Jérémie 33:4 Car ainsi parle l'Eternel, le Dieu d'Israël, Sur les maisons de cette ville Et sur les maisons des rois de Juda, Qui seront abattues par les terrasses et par l'épée,(FR) 4 ׃33 כִּי֩ כֹ֨ה אָמַ֤ר יְהוָה֙ אֱלֹהֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל עַל־בָּתֵּי֙ הָעִ֣יר הַזֹּ֔את וְעַל־בָּתֵּ֖י מַלְכֵ֣י יְהוּדָ֑ה הַנְּתֻצִ֕ים אֶל־הַסֹּלְל֖וֹת וְאֶל־הֶחָֽרֶב׃ Jeremiah Jer 33:4 For thus says the Lord God of Israel concerning the houses of this city, and concerning the houses of the kings of Judah which are broken down to make a defense against the siege ramps and against the sword, (nasb) ======= Jeremiah 33:5 ============ Jer 33:5 They come to fight with the Chaldeans, but it is to fill them with the dead bodies of men, whom I have slain in mine anger and in my fury, and for all whose wickedness I have hid my face from this city.(KJV) Jeremiah 33:5 They come to fight with the Caldeans, but it is to fill themselues with the dead bodies of men, whome I haue slaine in mine anger and in my wrath: for I haue hid my face from this citie, because of all their wickednes.(Geneva) Jérémie 33:5 Quand on s'avancera pour combattre les Chaldéens, Et qu'elles seront remplies des cadavres des hommes Que je frapperai dans ma colère et dans ma fureur, Et à cause de la méchanceté desquels je cacherai ma face à cette ville;(FR) 5 ׃33 בָּאִ֗ים לְהִלָּחֵם֙ אֶת־הַכַּשְׂדִּ֔ים וּלְמַלְאָם֙ אֶת־פִּגְרֵ֣י הָאָדָ֔ם אֲשֶׁר־הִכֵּ֥יתִי בְאַפִּ֖י וּבַחֲמָתִ֑י וַאֲשֶׁ֨ר הִסְתַּ֤רְתִּי פָנַי֙ מֵהָעִ֣יר הַזֹּ֔את עַ֖ל כָּל־רָעָתָֽם׃ Jeremiah Jer 33:5 'While they are coming to fight with the Chaldeans and to fill them with the corpses of men whom I have slain in My anger and in My wrath, and I have hidden My face from this city because of all their wickedness: (nasb) ======= Jeremiah 33:6 ============ Jer 33:6 Behold, I will bring it health and cure, and I will cure them, and will reveal unto them the abundance of peace and truth.(KJV) Jeremiah 33:6 Behold, I will giue it health & amendment: for I wil cure them, and will reueile vnto them the abundance of peace, and trueth.(Geneva) Jérémie 33:6 Voici, je lui donnerai la guérison et la santé, je les guérirai, Et je leur ouvrirai une source abondante de paix et de fidélité.(FR) 6 ׃33 הִנְנִ֧י מַעֲלֶה־לָּ֛הּ אֲרֻכָ֥ה וּמַרְפֵּ֖א וּרְפָאתִ֑ים וְגִלֵּיתִ֣י לָהֶ֔ם עֲתֶ֥רֶת שָׁל֖וֹם וֶאֱמֶֽת׃ Jeremiah Jer 33:6 Behold, I will bring to it health and healing, and I will heal them; and I will reveal to them an abundance of peace and truth. (nasb) ======= Jeremiah 33:7 ============ Jer 33:7 And I will cause the captivity of Judah and the captivity of Israel to return, and will build them, as at the first.(KJV) Jeremiah 33:7 And I wil cause the captiuitie of Iudah and the captiuitie of Israel to returne, and will build them as at the first.(Geneva) Jérémie 33:7 Je ramènerai les captifs de Juda et les captifs d'Israël, Et je les rétablirai comme autrefois.(FR) 7 ׃33 וַהֲשִֽׁבֹתִי֙ אֶת־שְׁב֣וּת יְהוּדָ֔ה וְאֵ֖ת שְׁב֣וּת יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וּבְנִתִ֖ים כְּבָרִֽאשֹׁנָֽה׃ Jeremiah Jer 33:7 I will restore the fortunes of Judah and the fortunes of Israel and will rebuild them as they were at first. (nasb) ======= Jeremiah 33:8 ============ Jer 33:8 And I will cleanse them from all their iniquity, whereby they have sinned against me; and I will pardon all their iniquities, whereby they have sinned, and whereby they have transgressed against me.(KJV) Jeremiah 33:8 And I wil clense them from all their iniquitie, whereby they haue sinned against me: yea, I wil pardon all their iniquities, whereby they haue sinned against me, and whereby they haue rebelled against me.(Geneva) Jérémie 33:8 Je les purifierai de toutes les iniquités qu'ils ont commises contre moi, Je leur pardonnerai toutes les iniquités par lesquelles ils m'ont offensé, Par lesquelles ils se sont révoltés contre moi.(FR) 8 ׃33 וְטִ֣הַרְתִּ֔ים מִכָּל־עֲוֺנָ֖ם אֲשֶׁ֣ר חָֽטְאוּ־לִ֑י וְסָלַחְתִּ֗י *לכול־**לְכָל־עֲוֺנֽוֹתֵיהֶם֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר חָֽטְאוּ־לִ֔י וַאֲשֶׁ֖ר פָּ֥שְׁעוּ בִֽי׃ Jeremiah Jer 33:8 I will cleanse them from all their iniquity by which they have sinned against Me, and I will pardon all their iniquities by which they have sinned against Me and by which they have transgressed against Me. (nasb) ======= Jeremiah 33:9 ============ Jer 33:9 And it shall be to me a name of joy, a praise and an honour before all the nations of the earth, which shall hear all the good that I do unto them: and they shall fear and tremble for all the goodness and for all the prosperity that I procure unto it.(KJV) Jeremiah 33:9 And it shalbe to me a name, a ioy, a praise, and an honour before all the nations of the earth, which shal heare all ye good that I doe vnto them: and they shal feare & tremble for all the goodnes, and for all the wealth, that I shew vnto this citie.(Geneva) Jérémie 33:9 Cette ville sera pour moi un sujet de joie, de louange et de gloire, Parmi toutes les nations de la terre, Qui apprendront tout le bien que je leur ferai; Elles seront étonnées et émues de tout le bonheur Et de toute la prospérité que je leur accorderai.(FR) 9 ׃33 וְהָ֣יְתָה לִּ֗י לְשֵׁ֤ם שָׂשׂוֹן֙ לִתְהִלָּ֣ה וּלְתִפְאֶ֔רֶת לְכֹ֖ל גּוֹיֵ֣י הָאָ֑רֶץ אֲשֶׁ֨ר יִשְׁמְע֜וּ אֶת־כָּל־הַטּוֹבָ֗ה אֲשֶׁ֤ר אָֽנֹכִי֙ עֹשֶׂ֣ה אֹתָ֔ם וּפָחֲד֣וּ וְרָֽגְז֗וּ עַ֤ל כָּל־הַטּוֹבָה֙ וְעַ֣ל כָּל־הַשָּׁל֔וֹם אֲשֶׁ֥ר אָֽנֹכִ֖י עֹ֥שֶׂה לָּֽהּ׃ ס Jeremiah Jer 33:9 It will be to Me a name of joy, praise and glory before all the nations of the earth which will hear of all the good that I do for them, and they will fear and tremble because of all the good and all the peace that I make for it.'(nasb) ======= Jeremiah 33:10 ============ Jer 33:10 Thus saith the LORD; Again there shall be heard in this place, which ye say shall be desolate without man and without beast, even in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem, that are desolate, without man, and without inhabitant, and without beast,(KJV) Jeremiah 33:10 Thus sayth the Lord, Againe there shalbe heard in this place (which ye say shalbe desolate, without man, and without beast, euen in the cities of Iudah, and in the streetes of Ierusalem, that are desolate without man, and without inhabitant, and without beast)(Geneva) Jérémie 33:10 Ainsi parle l'Eternel: On entendra encore dans ce lieu Dont vous dites: Il est désert, il n'y a plus d'hommes, plus de bêtes; On entendra dans les villes de Juda et dans les rues de Jérusalem, Dévastées, privées d'hommes, d'habitants, de bêtes,(FR) 10 ׃33 כֹּ֣ה ׀ אָמַ֣ר יְהוָ֗ה עוֹד֮ יִשָּׁמַ֣ע בַּמָּקוֹם־הַזֶּה֒ אֲשֶׁר֙ אַתֶּ֣ם אֹֽמְרִ֔ים חָרֵ֣ב ה֔וּא מֵאֵ֥ין אָדָ֖ם וּמֵאֵ֣ין בְּהֵמָ֑ה בְּעָרֵ֤י יְהוּדָה֙ וּבְחֻצ֣וֹת יְרוּשָׁלִַ֔ם הַֽנְשַׁמּ֗וֹת מֵאֵ֥ין אָדָ֛ם וּמֵאֵ֥ין יוֹשֵׁ֖ב וּמֵאֵ֥ין בְּהֵמָֽה׃ Jeremiah Jer 33:10 "Thus says the Lord, 'Yet again there will be heard in this place, of which you say, "It is a waste, without man and without beast," that is, in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem that are desolate, without man and without inhabitant and without beast, (nasb) ======= Jeremiah 33:11 ============ Jer 33:11 The voice of joy, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride, the voice of them that shall say, Praise the LORD of hosts: for the LORD is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: and of them that shall bring the sacrifice of praise into the house of the LORD. For I will cause to return the captivity of the land, as at the first, saith the LORD.(KJV) Jeremiah 33:11 The voyce of ioy and the voyce of gladnes, the voyce of the bridegrome, and the voyce of the bride, the voyce of them that shall say, Prayse the Lord of hostes, because the Lord is good: for his mercy endureth for euer, and of them that offer the sacrifice of prayse in the House of the Lord, for I will cause to returne the captiuitie of the land, as at the first, sayth the Lord.(Geneva) Jérémie 33:11 Les cris de réjouissance et les cris d'allégresse, Les chants du fiancé et les chants de la fiancée, La voix de ceux qui disent: Louez l'Eternel des armées, Car l'Eternel est bon, car sa miséricorde dure à toujours! La voix de ceux qui offrent des sacrifices d'actions de grâces Dans la maison de l'Eternel. Car je ramènerai les captifs du pays, je les rétablirai comme autrefois, Dit l'Eternel.(FR) 11 ׃33 ק֣וֹל שָׂשׂ֞וֹן וְק֣וֹל שִׂמְחָ֗ה ק֣וֹל חָתָן֮ וְק֣וֹל כַּלָּה֒ ק֣וֹל אֹמְרִ֡ים הוֹדוּ֩ אֶת־יְהוָ֨ה צְבָא֜וֹת כִּֽי־ט֤וֹב יְהוָה֙ כִּֽי־לְעוֹלָ֣ם חַסְדּ֔וֹ מְבִאִ֥ים תּוֹדָ֖ה בֵּ֣ית יְהוָ֑ה כִּֽי־אָשִׁ֧יב אֶת־שְׁבוּת־הָאָ֛רֶץ כְּבָרִאשֹׁנָ֖ה אָמַ֥ר יְהוָֽה׃ ס Jeremiah Jer 33:11 the voice of joy and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, the voice of those who say, "Give thanks to the Lord of hosts, For the Lord is good, For His lovingkindness is everlasting"; and of those who bring a thank offering into the house of the Lord. For I will restore the fortunes of the land as they were at first, 'says the Lord. (nasb) ======= Jeremiah 33:12 ============ Jer 33:12 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Again in this place, which is desolate without man and without beast, and in all the cities thereof, shall be an habitation of shepherds causing their flocks to lie down.(KJV) Jeremiah 33:12 Thus sayth the Lorde of hostes, Againe in this place, which is desolate, without man, & without beast, and in all the cities thereof there shall be dwelling for shepheards to rest their flockes.(Geneva) Jérémie 33:12 Ainsi parle l'Eternel des armées: Il y aura encore dans ce lieu Qui est désert, sans hommes ni bêtes, Et dans toutes ses villes, Il y aura des demeures pour les bergers Faisant reposer leurs troupeaux.(FR) 12 ׃33 כֹּֽה־אָמַר֮ יְהוָ֣ה צְבָאוֹת֒ ע֞וֹד יִֽהְיֶ֣ה ׀ בַּמָּק֣וֹם הַזֶּ֗ה הֶחָרֵ֛ב מֵֽאֵין־אָדָ֥ם וְעַד־בְּהֵמָ֖ה וּבְכָל־עָרָ֑יו נְוֵ֣ה רֹעִ֔ים מַרְבִּצִ֖ים צֹֽאן׃ Jeremiah Jer 33:12 "Thus says the Lord of hosts, 'There will again be in this place which is waste, without man or beast, and in all its cities, a habitation of shepherds who rest their flocks. (nasb) ======= Jeremiah 33:13 ============ Jer 33:13 In the cities of the mountains, in the cities of the vale, and in the cities of the south, and in the land of Benjamin, and in the places about Jerusalem, and in the cities of Judah, shall the flocks pass again under the hands of him that telleth them, saith the LORD.(KJV) Jeremiah 33:13 In the cities of the mountaines, in the cities in the plaine, and in the cities of the South, and in the land of Beniamin, and about Ierusalem, & in the cities of Iudah shall the sheepe passe againe, vnder the hand of him that telleth them, sayth the Lord.(Geneva) Jérémie 33:13 Dans les villes de la montagne, dans les villes de la plaine, Dans les villes du midi, Dans le pays de Benjamin et aux environs de Jérusalem, Et dans les villes de Juda, Les brebis passeront encore sous la main de celui qui les compte, Dit l'Eternel.(FR) 13 ׃33 בְּעָרֵ֨י הָהָ֜ר בְּעָרֵ֤י הַשְּׁפֵלָה֙ וּבְעָרֵ֣י הַנֶּ֔גֶב וּבְאֶ֧רֶץ בִּנְיָמִ֛ן וּבִסְבִיבֵ֥י יְרוּשָׁלַ֖͏ִם וּבְעָרֵ֣י יְהוּדָ֑ה עֹ֣ד תַּעֲבֹ֧רְנָה הַצֹּ֛אן עַל־יְדֵ֥י מוֹנֶ֖ה אָמַ֥ר יְהוָֽה׃ ס Jeremiah Jer 33:13 In the cities of the hill country, in the cities of the lowland, in the cities of the Negev, in the land of Benjamin, in the environs of Jerusalem and in the cities of Judah, the flocks will again pass under the hands of the one who numbers them, 'says the Lord. (nasb) ======= Jeremiah 33:14 ============ Jer 33:14 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will perform that good thing which I have promised unto the house of Israel and to the house of Judah.(KJV) Jeremiah 33:14 Beholde, the dayes come, sayth the Lorde, that I wil performe that good thing, which I haue promised vnto the house of Israel, & to the house of Iudah.(Geneva) Jérémie 33:14 Voici, les jours viennent, dit l'Eternel, Où j'accomplirai la bonne parole Que j'ai dite sur la maison d'Israël et sur la maison de Juda.(FR) 14 ׃33 הִנֵּ֛ה יָמִ֥ים בָּאִ֖ים נְאֻם־יְהוָ֑ה וַהֲקֽ͏ִמֹתִי֙ אֶת־הַדָּבָ֣ר הַטּ֔וֹב אֲשֶׁ֥ר דִּבַּ֛רְתִּי אֶל־בֵּ֥ית יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל וְעַל־בֵּ֥ית יְהוּדָֽה׃ Jeremiah Jer 33:14 'Behold, days are coming,' declares the Lord, 'when I will fulfill the good word which I have spoken concerning the house of Israel and the house of Judah. (nasb) ======= Jeremiah 33:15 ============ Jer 33:15 In those days, and at that time, will I cause the Branch of righteousness to grow up unto David; and he shall execute judgment and righteousness in the land.(KJV) Jeremiah 33:15 In those dayes and at that time, wil I cause the branch of righteousnesse to growe vp vnto Dauid, & he shall execute iudgement, and righteousnes in the land.(Geneva) Jérémie 33:15 En ces jours et en ce temps-là, Je ferai éclore à David un germe de justice; Il pratiquera la justice et l'équité dans le pays.(FR) 15 ׃33 בַּיָּמִ֤ים הָהֵם֙ וּבָעֵ֣ת הַהִ֔יא אַצְמִ֥יחַ לְדָוִ֖ד צֶ֣מַח צְדָקָ֑ה וְעָשָׂ֛ה מִשְׁפָּ֥ט וּצְדָקָ֖ה בָּאָֽרֶץ׃ Jeremiah Jer 33:15 In those days and at that time I will cause a righteous Branch of David to spring forth; and He shall execute justice and righteousness on the earth. Thus they despise My people, no longer are they as a nation in their sight. (nasb) ======= Jeremiah 33:25 ============ Jer 33:25 Thus saith the LORD; If my covenant be not with day and night, and if I have not appointed the ordinances of heaven and earth;(KJV) Jeremiah 33:25 Thus sayth the Lorde, If my couenant be not with day and night, and if I haue not appointed the order of heauen and earth,(Geneva) Jérémie 33:25 Ainsi parle l'Eternel: Si je n'ai pas fait mon alliance avec le jour et avec la nuit, Si je n'ai pas établi les lois des cieux et de la terre,(FR) 25 ׃33 כֹּ֚ה אָמַ֣ר יְהוָ֔ה אִם־לֹ֥א בְרִיתִ֖י יוֹמָ֣ם וָלָ֑יְלָה חֻקּ֛וֹת שָׁמַ֥יִם וָאָ֖רֶץ לֹא־שָֽׂמְתִּי׃ Jeremiah Jer 33:25 Thus says the Lord, 'If My covenant for day and night stand not, and the fixed patterns of heaven and earth I have not established, (nasb) ======= Jeremiah 33:26 ============ Jer 33:26 Then will I cast away the seed of Jacob and David my servant, so that I will not take any of his seed to be rulers over the seed of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob: for I will cause their captivity to return, and have mercy on them.(kjv) Jeremiah 33:26 Then will I cast away the seede of Iaakob and Dauid my seruant, and not take of his seede to be rulers ouer the seede of Abraham, Izhak, and Iaakob: for I wil cause their captiuitie to returne, and haue compassion on them.(Geneva) Jérémie 33:26 Alors aussi je rejetterai la postérité de Jacob et de David, mon serviteur, Et je ne prendrai plus dans sa postérité ceux qui domineront Sur les descendants d'Abraham, d'Isaac et de Jacob. But I will restore their fortunes and will have mercy on them.'"
