against Job his anger burned because he justified himself before God.(nas) Job 32:2 ὠργίσθη δὲ Ελιους ὁ τοῦ Βαραχιηλ ὁ Βουζίτης ἐκ τῆς συγγενείας Ραμ τῆς Αυσίτιδος χώρας ὠργίσθη δὲ τῷ Ιωβ σφόδρα διότι ἀπέφηνεν ἑαυτὸν δίκαιον ἐναντίον κυρίου (lxx) Job 32:2 Et iratus indignatusque est Eliu filius Barachel Buzites, de cognatione Ram: iratus est autem adversum Job, eo quod justum se esse diceret coram Deo.(vulgate) Job 32:2 Then the wrath of Elihu the sonne of Barachel the Buzite, of the familie of Ram, was kindled: his wrath, I say, was kindled against Iob, because he iustified himselfe more then God.(Geneva) Job 32:2 Aber Elihu, der Sohn Baracheels von Bus, des Geschlechts Rams, ward zornig über Hiob, daß er seine Seele gerechter hielt denn Gott.(dhs) Job 32:2 Then the wrath of Elihu, the son of Barachel the Buzite, of the family of Ram, was aroused against Job; Therefore I was shy and afraid to tell you what I think.(nas) Job 32:6 ὑπολαβὼν δὲ Ελιους ὁ τοῦ Βαραχιηλ ὁ Βουζίτης εἶπεν νεώτερος μέν εἰμι τῷ χρόνῳ ὑμεῖς δέ ἐστε πρεσβύτεροι διὸ ἡσύχασα φοβηθεὶς τοῦ ὑμῖν ἀναγγεῖλαι τὴν ἐμαυτοῦ ἐπιστήμην (lxx) Job 32:6 Respondensque Eliu filius Barachel Buzites, dixit: [Junior sum tempore, vos autem antiquiores: idcirco, demisso capite, veritus sum vobis indicare meam sententiam.(vulgate) Job 32:6 Therefore Elihu the sonne of Barachel, the Buzite answered, & sayd, I am yong in yeres, and ye are ancient: therefore I doubted, and was afraide to shewe you mine opinion.(Geneva) Job 32:6 Und so antwortete Elihu, der Sohn Baracheels von Bus, und sprach: Ich bin jung, ihr aber seid alt; darum habe ich mich gescheut und gefürchtet, mein Wissen euch kundzutun.(dhs) Job 32:6 So Elihu, the son of Barachel the Buzite, answered and said: "I am young in years, and you are very old; Therefore I was afraid, And dared not declare my opinion to you.(nkjv) ======= Job 32:7 ============ Job 32:7 "I thought age should speak, And increased years should teach wisdom.(nas) Job 32:7 εἶπα δὲ ὅτι ὁ χρόνος ἐστὶν ὁ λαλῶν ἐν πολλοῖς δὲ ἔτεσιν οἴδασιν σοφίαν (lxx) Job 32:7 Sperabam enim quod ætas prolixior loqueretur, et annorum multitudo doceret sapientiam.(vulgate) Job 32:7 For I said, The dayes shall speake, and the multitude of yeeres shall teach wisedome.(Geneva) Job 32:7 Ich dachte: Laß das Alter reden, und die Menge der Jahre laß Weisheit beweisen.(dhs) Job 32:7 I said, 'Age should speak, And multitude of years should teach wisdom.'(nkjv) ======= Job 32:8 ============ Job 32:8 "But it is a spirit in man, And the breath of the Almighty gives them understanding.(nas) Job 32:8 ἀλλὰ πνεῦμά ἐστιν ἐν βροτοῖς πνοὴ δὲ παντοκράτορός ἐστιν ἡ διδάσκουσα (lxx) Job 32:8 Sed, ut video, spiritus est in hominibus, et inspiratio Omnipotentis dat intelligentiam.(vulgate) Job 32:8 Surely there is a spirite in man, but the inspiration of the Almightie giueth vnderstanding.(Geneva) Job 32:8 Aber der Geist ist in den Leuten und der Odem des Allmächtigen, der sie verständig macht.(dhs) Job 32:8 But there is a spirit in man, And the breath of the Almighty gives him understanding.(nkjv) ======= Job 32:9 ============ Job 32:9 "The abundant in years may not be wise, Nor may elders understand justice.(nas) Job 32:9 οὐχ οἱ πολυχρόνιοί εἰσιν σοφοί οὐδ᾽ οἱ γέροντες οἴδασιν κρίμα (lxx) Job 32:9 Non sunt longævi sapientes, nec senes intelligunt judicium.(vulgate) Job 32:9 Great men are not alway wise, neither doe the aged alway vnderstand iudgement.(Geneva) Job 32:9 Die Großen sind nicht immer die Weisesten, und die Alten verstehen nicht das Recht.(dhs) Job 32:9 Great men are not always wise, Nor do the aged always understand justice.(nkjv) ======= Job 32:10 ============ Job 32:10 "So I say, 'Listen to me, I too will tell what I think.'(nas) Job 32:10 διὸ εἶπα ἀκούσατέ μου καὶ ἀναγγελῶ ὑμῖν ἃ οἶδα (lxx) Job 32:10 Ideo dicam: Audite me: ostendam vobis etiam ego meam sapientiam.(vulgate) Job 32:10 Therefore I say, Heare me, and I will shew also mine opinion.(Geneva) Job 32:10 Darum will ich auch reden; Ich will mein Wissen auch kundtun.(dhs) Job 32:10 "Therefore I say, 'Listen to me, I also will declare my opinion.'(nkjv) ======= Job 32:11 ============ Job 32:11 "Behold, I waited for your words, I listened to your reasonings, While you pondered what to say.(nas) Job 32:11 ἐνωτίζεσθέ μου τὰ ῥήματα ἐρῶ γὰρ ὑμῶν ἀκουόντων ἄχρι οὗ ἐτάσητε λόγους (lxx) Job 32:11 Expectavi enim sermones vestros; audivi prudentiam vestram, donec disceptaremini sermonibus;(vulgate) Job 32:11 Behold, I did waite vpon your wordes, and hearkened vnto your knowledge, whiles you sought out reasons.(Geneva) Job 32:11 Siehe, ich habe geharrt auf das, was ihr geredet habt; ich habe aufgemerkt auf eure Einsicht, bis ihr träfet die rechte Rede,(dhs) Job 32:11 Indeed I waited for your words, I listened to your reasonings, while you searched out what to say.(nkjv) ======= Job 32:12 ============ Job 32:12 "I even paid close attention to you; Indeed, there was no one who refuted Job, Not one of you who answered his words.(nas) Job 32:12 καὶ μέχρι ὑμῶν συνήσω καὶ ἰδοὺ οὐκ ἦν τῷ Ιωβ ἐλέγχων ἀνταποκρινόμενος ῥήματα αὐτοῦ ἐξ ὑμῶν (lxx) Job 32:12 et donec putabam vos aliquid dicere, considerabam: sed, ut video, non est qui possit arguere Job, et respondere ex vobis sermonibus ejus.(vulgate) Job 32:12 Yea, when I had considered you, lo, there was none of you that reproued Iob, nor answered his wordes:(Geneva) Job 32:12 und ich habe achtgehabt auf euch.
