The Lord is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid?(nkjv) ======= Psalm 27:2 ============ Psa 27:2 When evildoers came upon me to devour my flesh, My adversaries and my enemies, they stumbled and fell.(nas) Psa 27:2 ἐν τῷ ἐγγίζειν ἐπ᾽ ἐμὲ κακοῦντας τοῦ φαγεῖν τὰς σάρκας μου οἱ θλίβοντές με καὶ οἱ ἐχθροί μου αὐτοὶ ἠσθένησαν καὶ ἔπεσαν (lxx) Psa 27:2 [Vulgate 26:2] cum adpropinquarent mihi maligni ut comederent carnem meam hostes mei et inimici mei ipsi inpigerunt et ceciderunt(vulgate) Psalms 27:2 When the wicked, euen mine enemies and my foes came vpon mee to eate vp my flesh; Though war arise against me, In spite of this I shall be confident.(nas) Psa 27:3 ἐὰν παρατάξηται ἐπ᾽ ἐμὲ παρεμβολή οὐ φοβηθήσεται ἡ καρδία μου ἐὰν ἐπαναστῇ ἐπ᾽ ἐμὲ πόλεμος ἐν ταύτῃ ἐγὼ ἐλπίζω (lxx) Psa 27:3 [Vulgate 26:3] si steterint adversus me castra non timebit cor meum si surrexerit contra me bellum in hoc ego confidam(vulgate) Psalms 27:3 Though an hoste pitched against me, mine heart should not be afraide: though warre be raised against me, I will trust in this.(Geneva) Psa 27:3 Wenn sich schon ein Heer wider mich legt, so fürchtet sich dennoch mein Herz nicht; In the secret place of His tent He will hide me; He will lift me up on a rock.(nas) Psa 27:5 ὅτι ἔκρυψέν με ἐν σκηνῇ ἐν ἡμέρᾳ κακῶν μου ἐσκέπασέν με ἐν ἀποκρύφῳ τῆς σκηνῆς αὐτοῦ ἐν πέτρᾳ ὕψωσέν με (lxx) Psa 27:5 [Vulgate 26:5] abscondet enim me in umbra sua in die pessima abscondet me in secreto tabernaculi sui(vulgate) Psalms 27:5 For in the time of trouble hee shall hide mee in his Tabernacle: in the secrete place of his pauillion shall he hide me, and set me vp vpon a rocke.(Geneva) Psa 27:5 Denn er deckt mich in seiner Hütte zur bösen Zeit, er verbirgt mich heimlich in seinem Gezelt und erhöht mich auf einem Felsen,(dhs) Psa 27:5 For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion; In the secret place of His tabernacle He shall hide me; He shall set me high upon a rock.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 27:6 ============ Psa 27:6 And now my head will be lifted up above my enemies around me, And I will offer in His tent sacrifices with shouts of joy; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the Lord.(nas) Psa 27:6 καὶ νῦν ἰδοὺ ὕψωσεν τὴν κεφαλήν μου ἐπ᾽ ἐχθρούς μου ἐκύκλωσα καὶ ἔθυσα ἐν τῇ σκηνῇ αὐτοῦ θυσίαν ἀλαλαγμοῦ ᾄσομαι καὶ ψαλῶ τῷ κυρίῳ (lxx) Psa 27:6 [Vulgate 26:6] in petra exaltabit me nunc quoque exaltabit caput meum super inimicos meos qui sunt in circuitu meo et immolabo in tabernaculo eius hostias iubili cantabo et psallam Domino(vulgate) Psalms 27:6 And nowe shall hee lift vp mine head aboue mine enemies rounde about mee: therefore wil I offer in his Tabernacle sacrifices of ioy: I wil sing and praise the Lord.(Geneva) Psa 27:6 und wird nun erhöhen mein Haupt über meine Feinde, die um mich sind;
