(nas) Rev 17:3 καὶ ἀπήνεγκέν με εἰς ἔρημον ἐν πνεύματι. καὶ εἶδον γυναῖκα καθημένην ἐπὶ θηρίον κόκκινον, γέμον[τα] ὀνόματα βλασφημίας, ἔχων κεφαλὰς ἑπτὰ καὶ κέρατα δέκα. And when I saw her, I marveled with great amazement.(nkjv) ======= Revelation 17:7 ============ Rev 17:7 And the angel said to me, "Why do you wonder? I will tell you the mystery of the woman and of the beast that carries her, which has the seven heads and the ten horns. I will tell you the mystery of the woman and of the beast that carries her, which has the seven heads and the ten horns.(nkjv) ======= Revelation 17:8 ============ Rev 17:8 "The beast that you saw was, and is not, and is about to come up out of the abyss and go to destruction. And those who dwell on the earth, whose name has not been written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, will wonder when they see the beast, that he was and is not and will come. (nas) Rev 17:8 τὸ θηρίον ὃ εἶδες ἦν καὶ οὐκ ἔστιν, καὶ μέλλει ἀναβαίνειν ἐκ τῆς ἀβύσσου, καὶ εἰς ἀπώλειαν ὑπάγει· καὶ θαυμασθήσονται οἱ κατοικοῦντες ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς, ὧν οὐ γέγραπται τὸ ὄνομα ἐπὶ τὸ βιβλίον τῆς ζωῆς ἀπὸ καταβολῆς κόσμου, βλεπόντων τὸ θηρίον ὅτι ἦν καὶ οὐκ ἔστιν καὶ παρέσται. And those who dwell on the earth will marvel, whose names are not written in the Book of Life from the foundation of the world, when they see the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.(nkjv) ======= Revelation 17:9 ============ Rev 17:9 Here is the mind which has wisdom. (nas) Rev 17:12 καὶ τὰ δέκα κέρατα ἃ εἶδες δέκα βασιλεῖς εἰσιν, οἵτινες βασιλείαν οὔπω ἔλαβον, ἀλλὰ ἐξουσίαν ὡς βασιλεῖς μίαν ὥραν λαμβάνουσιν μετὰ τοῦ θηρίου. (nas) Rev 17:13 οὖτοι μίαν γνώμην ἔχουσιν, καὶ τὴν δύναμιν καὶ ἐξουσίαν αὐτῶν τῶ θηρίῳ διδόασιν. (Nestle-Aland) Rev 17:13 ουτοι μιαν γνωμην εχουσιν και την δυναμιν και την εξουσιαν εαυτων τω θηριω διαδιδωσουσιν (Textus Receptus) Rev 17:13 outoi mian ecousin gnwmhn kai thn dunamin kai thn exousian autwn tw yhriw didoasin (Byz translitr) Rev 17:13 Hi unum consilium habent, et virtutem, et potestatem suam bestiæ tradent.(vulgate) Revelation 17:13 These haue one minde, and shall giue their power, and authoritie vnto the beast.(Geneva) Rev 17:13 Die haben eine Meinung und werden ihre Kraft und Macht geben dem Tier.(dhs) Rev 17:13 These are of one mind, and they will give their power and authority to the beast.(nkjv) ======= Revelation 17:14 ============ Rev 17:14 These will wage war against the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, because He is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those who are with Him are the called and chosen and faithful."(nas) Rev 17:14 οὖτοι μετὰ τοῦ ἀρνίου πολεμήσουσιν, καὶ τὸ ἀρνίον νικήσει αὐτούς, ὅτι κύριος κυρίων ἐστὶν καὶ βασιλεὺς βασιλέων, καὶ οἱ μετ᾽ αὐτοῦ κλητοὶ καὶ ἐκλεκτοὶ καὶ πιστοί.
