(nasb) ======= Psalm 129:3 ============ Psa 129:3 The plowers plowed upon my back: they made long their furrows.(KJV) Psalms 129:3 The plowers plowed vpon my backe, and made long furrowes.(Geneva) Psaume 129:3 Des laboureurs ont labouré mon dos, Ils y ont tracé de longs sillons.(FR) 3 ׃129 עַל־גַּ֭בִּי חָרְשׁ֣וּ חֹרְשִׁ֑ים הֶ֝אֱרִ֗יכוּ *למענותם **לְמַעֲנִיתָֽם׃ Psalms Psa 129:3 "The plowers plowed upon my back; They lengthened their furrows."(nasb) ======= Psalm 129:4 ============ Psa 129:4 The LORD is righteous: he hath cut asunder the cords of the wicked.(KJV) Psalms 129:4 But the righteous Lorde hath cut the cordes of the wicked.(Geneva) Psaume 129:4 L'Eternel est juste: Il a coupé les cordes des méchants.(FR) 4 ׃129 יְהוָ֥ה צַדִּ֑יק קִ֝צֵּ֗ץ עֲב֣וֹת רְשָׁעִֽים׃ Psalms Psa 129:4 The Lord is righteous; He has cut in two the cords of the wicked. (nasb) ======= Psalm 129:5 ============ Psa 129:5 Let them all be confounded and turned back that hate Zion.(KJV) Psalms 129:5 They that hate Zion, shalbe all ashamed and turned backward.(Geneva) Psaume 129:5 Qu'ils soient confondus et qu'ils reculent, Tous ceux qui haïssent Sion!(FR) 5 ׃129 יֵ֭בֹשׁוּ וְיִסֹּ֣גוּ אָח֑וֹר כֹּ֝֗ל שֹׂנְאֵ֥י צִיּֽוֹן׃ Psalms Psa 129:5 May all who hate Zion Be put to shame and turned backward; (nasb) ======= Psalm 129:6 ============ Psa 129:6 Let them be as the grass upon the housetops, which withereth afore it groweth up:(KJV) Psalms 129:6 They shalbe as the grasse on the house tops, which withereth afore it commeth forth.(Geneva) Psaume 129:6 Qu'ils soient comme l'herbe des toits, Qui sèche avant qu'on l'arrache!(FR) 6 ׃129 יִ֭הְיוּ כַּחֲצִ֣יר גַּגּ֑וֹת שֶׁקַּדְמַ֖ת שָׁלַ֣ף יָבֵֽשׁ׃ Psalms Psa 129:6 Let them be like grass upon the housetops, Which withers before it grows up; (nasb) ======= Psalm 129:7 ============ Psa 129:7 Wherewith the mower filleth not his hand; nor he that bindeth sheaves his bosom.(KJV) Psalms 129:7 Whereof the mower filleth not his hand, neither the glainer his lap:(Geneva) Psaume 129:7 Le moissonneur n'en remplit point sa main, Celui qui lie les gerbes n'en charge point son bras,(FR) 7 ׃129 שֶׁלֹּ֤א מִלֵּ֖א כַפּ֥וֹ קוֹצֵ֗ר וְחִצְנ֥וֹ מְעַמֵּֽר׃ Psalms Psa 129:7 With which the reaper does not fill his hand, Or the binder of sheaves his bosom; (nasb) ======= Psalm 129:8 ============ Psa 129:8 Neither do they which go by say, The blessing of the LORD be upon you: we bless you in the name of the LORD.(kjv) Psalms 129:8 Neither they, which go by, say, The blessing of the Lord be vpon you, or, We blesse you in the Name of the Lord.(Geneva) Psaume 129:8 Et les passants ne disent point: Que la bénédiction de l'Eternel soit sur vous! Nous vous bénissons au nom de l'Eternel!(FR) 8 ׃129 וְלֹ֤א אָֽמְר֨וּ ׀ הָעֹבְרִ֗ים בִּרְכַּֽת־יְהוָ֥ה אֲלֵיכֶ֑ם בֵּרַ֥כְנוּ אֶ֝תְכֶ֗ם בְּשֵׁ֣ם יְהוָֽה׃ Psalms Psa 129:8 Nor do those who pass by say, "The blessing of the Lord be upon you; We bless you in the name of the Lord."
