(nasb) ======= Jeremiah 24:2 ============ Jer 24:2 One basket had very good figs, even like the figs that are first ripe: and the other basket had very naughty figs, which could not be eaten, they were so bad.(KJV) Jeremiah 24:2 One basket had verie good figges, euen like the figges that are first ripe: and the other basket had verie naughtie figges, which could not be eaten, they were so euill.(Geneva) Jérémie 24:2 L'un des paniers contenait de très bonnes figues, comme les figues de la première récolte, et l'autre panier de très mauvaises figues, qu'on ne pouvait manger à cause de leur mauvaise qualité.(FR) 2 ׃24 הַדּ֣וּד אֶחָ֗ד תְּאֵנִים֙ טֹב֣וֹת מְאֹ֔ד כִּתְאֵנֵ֖י הַבַּכֻּר֑וֹת וְהַדּ֣וּד אֶחָ֗ד תְּאֵנִים֙ רָע֣וֹת מְאֹ֔ד אֲשֶׁ֥ר לֹא־תֵֽאָכַ֖לְנָה מֵרֹֽעַ׃ ס Jeremiah Jer 24:2 One basket had very good figs, like first-ripe figs, and the other basket had very bad figs which could not be eaten due to rottenness. (nasb) ======= Jeremiah 24:3 ============ Jer 24:3 Then said the LORD unto me, What seest thou, Jeremiah? And I said, Figs; the good figs, very good; and the evil, very evil, that cannot be eaten, they are so evil.(KJV) Jeremiah 24:3 Then saide the Lorde vnto mee, What seest thou, Ieremiah? And I said, Figges: ye good figges verie good, & the naughtie verie naughtie, which cannot be eaten, they are so euill.(Geneva) Jérémie 24:3 L'Eternel me dit: Que vois-tu, Jérémie? Je répondis: Des figues, Les bonnes figues sont très bonnes, et les mauvaises sont très mauvaises et ne peuvent être mangées à cause de leur mauvaise qualité.(FR) 3 ׃24 וַיֹּ֨אמֶר יְהוָ֜ה אֵלַ֗י מָֽה־אַתָּ֤ה רֹאֶה֙ יִרְמְיָ֔הוּ וָאֹמַ֖ר תְּאֵנִ֑ים הַתְּאֵנִ֤ים הַטֹּבוֹת֙ טֹב֣וֹת מְאֹ֔ד וְהָֽרָעוֹת֙ רָע֣וֹת מְאֹ֔ד אֲשֶׁ֥ר לֹא־תֵאָכַ֖לְנָה מֵרֹֽעַ׃ פ Jeremiah Jer 24:3 Then the Lord said to me, "What do you see, Jeremiah?" (nasb) ======= Jeremiah 24:6 ============ Jer 24:6 For I will set mine eyes upon them for good, and I will bring them again to this land: and I will build them, and not pull them down; and I will plant them, and not pluck them up.(KJV) Jeremiah 24:6 For I wil set mine eyes vpon them for good, and I will bring them againe to this lande, and I will build them, and not destroy them, & I will plant them, and not roote them out,(Geneva) Jérémie 24:6 Je les regarderai d'un oeil favorable, et je les ramènerai dans ce pays; je les établirai et ne les détruirai plus, je les planterai et ne les arracherai plus.(FR) 6 ׃24 וְשַׂמְתִּ֨י עֵינִ֤י עֲלֵיהֶם֙ לְטוֹבָ֔ה וַהֲשִׁבֹתִ֖ים עַל־הָאָ֣רֶץ הַזֹּ֑את וּבְנִיתִים֙ וְלֹ֣א אֶהֱרֹ֔ס וּנְטַעְתִּ֖ים וְלֹ֥א אֶתּֽוֹשׁ׃ Jeremiah Jer 24:6 For I will set My eyes on them for good, and I will bring them again to this land; and I will build them up and not overthrow them, and I will plant them and not pluck them up. (nasb) ======= Jeremiah 24:7 ============ Jer 24:7 And I will give them an heart to know me, that I am the LORD: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God: for they shall return unto me with their whole heart.(KJV) Jeremiah 24:7 And I will giue them an heart to knowe me, that I am the Lord, & they shalbe my people, and I wil be their God: for they shal returne vnto mee with their whole heart.(Geneva) Jérémie 24:7 Je leur donnerai un coeur pour qu'ils connaissent que je suis l'Eternel; ils seront mon peuple, et je serai leur Dieu, s'ils reviennent à moi de tout leur coeur.(FR) 7 ׃24 וְנָתַתִּי֩ לָהֶ֨ם לֵ֜ב לָדַ֣עַת אֹתִ֗י כִּ֚י אֲנִ֣י יְהוָ֔ה וְהָיוּ־לִ֣י לְעָ֔ם וְאָ֣נֹכִ֔י אֶהְיֶ֥ה לָהֶ֖ם לֵאלֹהִ֑ים כִּֽי־יָשֻׁ֥בוּ אֵלַ֖י בְּכָל־לִבָּֽם׃ ס Jeremiah Jer 24:7 I will give them a heart to know Me, for I am the Lord; and they will be My people, and I will be their God, for they will return to Me with their whole heart. (nasb) ======= Jeremiah 24:8 ============ Jer 24:8 And as the evil figs, which cannot be eaten, they are so evil; surely thus saith the LORD, So will I give Zedekiah the king of Judah, and his princes, and the residue of Jerusalem, that remain in this land, and them that dwell in the land of Egypt:(KJV) Jeremiah 24:8 And as the naughtie figges which can not bee eaten, they are so euill (surely thus saith the Lorde) so wil I giue Zedekiah the King of Iudah, and his princes, and the residue of Ierusalem, that remaine in this lande, and them that dwell in the lande of Egypt:(Geneva) Jérémie 24:8 Et comme les mauvaises figues qui ne peuvent être mangées à cause de leur mauvaise qualité, dit l'Eternel, ainsi ferai-je devenir Sédécias, roi de Juda, ses chefs, et le reste de Jérusalem, ceux qui sont restés dans ce pays et ceux qui habitent dans le pays d'Egypte.(FR) 8 ׃24 וְכַתְּאֵנִים֙ הָֽרָע֔וֹת אֲשֶׁ֥ר לֹא־תֵאָכַ֖לְנָה מֵרֹ֑עַ כִּי־כֹ֣ה ׀ אָמַ֣ר יְהוָ֗ה כֵּ֣ן אֶ֠תֵּן אֶת־צִדְקִיָּ֨הוּ מֶֽלֶךְ־יְהוּדָ֤ה וְאֶת־שָׂרָיו֙ וְאֵ֣ת ׀ שְׁאֵרִ֣ית יְרוּשָׁלִַ֗ם הַנִּשְׁאָרִים֙ בָּאָ֣רֶץ הַזֹּ֔את וְהַיֹּשְׁבִ֖ים בְּאֶ֥רֶץ מִצְרָֽיִם׃ Jeremiah Jer 24:8 'But like the bad figs which cannot be eaten due to rottenness - indeed, thus says the Lord - so I will abandon Zedekiah king of Judah and his officials, and the remnant of Jerusalem who remain in this land and the ones who dwell in the land of Egypt. (nasb) ======= Jeremiah 24:9 ============ Jer 24:9 And I will deliver them to be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth for their hurt, to be a reproach and a proverb, a taunt and a curse, in all places whither I shall drive them.(KJV) Jeremiah 24:9 I will euen giue them for a terrible plague to all the kingdomes of the earth, and for a reproche, and for a prouerbe, for a common talke, and for a curse, in all places where I shall cast them.(Geneva) Jérémie 24:9 Je les rendrai un objet d'effroi, de malheur, pour tous les royaumes de la terre, un sujet d'opprobre, de sarcasme, de raillerie, et de malédiction, dans tous les lieux où je les chasserai.(FR) 9 ׃24 וּנְתַתִּים֙ *לזועה **לְזַעֲוָ֣ה לְרָעָ֔ה לְכֹ֖ל מַמְלְכ֣וֹת הָאָ֑רֶץ לְחֶרְפָּ֤ה וּלְמָשָׁל֙ לִשְׁנִינָ֣ה וְלִקְלָלָ֔ה בְּכָל־הַמְּקֹמ֖וֹת אֲשֶֽׁר־אַדִּיחֵ֥ם שָֽׁם׃ Jeremiah Jer 24:9 I will make them a terror and an evil for all the kingdoms of the earth, as a reproach and a proverb, a taunt and a curse in all places where I will scatter them. (nasb) ======= Jeremiah 24:10 ============ Jer 24:10 And I will send the sword, the famine, and the pestilence, among them, till they be consumed from off the land that I gave unto them and to their fathers.(kjv) Jeremiah 24:10 And I will sende the sworde, the famine, and the pestilence among them, till they bee consumed out of the land, that I gaue vnto them and to their fathers.(Geneva) Jérémie 24:10 J'enverrai parmi eux l'épée, la famine et la peste, jusqu'à ce qu'ils aient disparu du pays que j'avais donné à eux et à leurs pères.(FR) 10 ׃24 וְשִׁלַּ֣חְתִּי בָ֔ם אֶת־הַחֶ֖רֶב אֶת־הָרָעָ֣ב וְאֶת־הַדָּ֑בֶר עַד־תֻּמָּם֙ מֵעַ֣ל הָאֲדָמָ֔ה אֲשֶׁר־נָתַ֥תִּי לָהֶ֖ם וְלַאֲבוֹתֵיהֶֽם׃ פ Jeremiah Jer 24:10 I will send the sword, the famine and the pestilence upon them until they are destroyed from the land which I gave to them and their forefathers.'"
