(nasb) ======= Ezekiel 2:3 ============ Eze 2:3 And he said unto me, Son of man, I send thee to the children of Israel, to a rebellious nation that hath rebelled against me: they and their fathers have transgressed against me, even unto this very day.(KJV) Ezekiel 2:3 And he said vnto me, Sonne of man, I send thee to the children of Israel, to a rebellious nation that hath rebelled against me: for they and their fathers haue rebelled against me, euen vnto this very day.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 2:3 Il me dit: Fils de l'homme, je t'envoie vers les enfants d'Israël, vers ces peuples rebelles, qui se sont révoltés contre moi; eux et leurs pères ont péché contre moi, jusqu'au jour même où nous sommes.(FR) 3 ׃2 וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֵלַ֗י בֶּן־אָדָם֙ שׁוֹלֵ֨חַ אֲנִ֤י אֽוֹתְךָ֙ אֶל־בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל אֶל־גּוֹיִ֥ם הַמּוֹרְדִ֖ים אֲשֶׁ֣ר מָרְדוּ־בִ֑י הֵ֤מָּה וַאֲבוֹתָם֙ פָּ֣שְׁעוּ בִ֔י עַד־עֶ֖צֶם הַיּ֥וֹם הַזֶּֽה׃ Ezekiel Eze 2:3 Then He said to me, "Son of man, I am sending you to the sons of Israel, to a rebellious people who have rebelled against Me; they and their fathers have transgressed against Me to this very day. (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 2:4 ============ Eze 2:4 For they are impudent children and stiffhearted. I do send thee unto them; and thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD.(KJV) Ezekiel 2:4 For they are impudent children, and stiffe hearted: I do send thee vnto them, & thou shalt say vnto them, Thus saith the Lorde God.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 2:4 Ce sont des enfants à la face impudente et au coeur endurci; je t'envoie vers eux, et tu leur diras: Ainsi parle le Seigneur, l'Eternel.(FR) 4 ׃2 וְהַבָּנִ֗ים קְשֵׁ֤י פָנִים֙ וְחִזְקֵי־לֵ֔ב אֲנִ֛י שׁוֹלֵ֥חַ אוֹתְךָ֖ אֲלֵיהֶ֑ם וְאָמַרְתָּ֣ אֲלֵיהֶ֔ם כֹּ֥ה אָמַ֖ר אֲדֹנָ֥י יְהֹוִֽה׃ Ezekiel Eze 2:4 I am sending you to them who are stubborn and obstinate children, and you shall say to them, 'Thus says the Lord God.'(nasb) ======= Ezekiel 2:5 ============ Eze 2:5 And they, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear, (for they are a rebellious house,) yet shall know that there hath been a prophet among them.(KJV) Ezekiel 2:5 But surely they will not heare, neither in deede will they cease: for they are a rebellious house: yet shall they knowe that there hath bene a Prophet among them.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 2:5 Qu'ils écoutent, ou qu'ils n'écoutent pas, -car c'est une famille de rebelles, -ils sauront qu'un prophète est au milieu d'eux.(FR) 5 ׃2 וְהֵ֙מָּה֙ אִם־יִשְׁמְע֣וּ וְאִם־יֶחְדָּ֔לוּ כִּ֛י בֵּ֥יִת מְרִ֖י הֵ֑מָּה וְיָ֣דְע֔וּ כִּ֥י נָבִ֖יא הָיָ֥ה בְתוֹכָֽם׃ פ Ezekiel Eze 2:5 As for them, whether they listen or not--for they are a rebellious house--they will know that a prophet has been among them. (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 2:6 ============ Eze 2:6 And thou, son of man, be not afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns be with thee, and thou dost dwell among scorpions: be not afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house.(KJV) Ezekiel 2:6 And thou sonne of man, feare them not, neither be afraide of their wordes, although rebels, and thornes be with thee, and thou remainest with scorpions: feare not their wordes, nor be afrayde at their lookes, for they are a rebellious house.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 2:6 Et toi, fils de l'homme, ne les crains pas et ne crains pas leurs discours, quoique tu aies auprès de toi des ronces et des épines, et que tu habites avec des scorpions; ne crains pas leurs discours et ne t'effraie pas de leurs visages, quoiqu'ils soient une famille de rebelles.(FR) 6 ׃2 וְאַתָּ֣ה בֶן־אָ֠דָם אַל־תִּירָ֨א מֵהֶ֜ם וּמִדִּבְרֵיהֶ֣ם אַל־תִּירָ֗א כִּ֣י סָרָבִ֤ים וְסַלּוֹנִים֙ אוֹתָ֔ךְ וְאֶל־עַקְרַבִּ֖ים אַתָּ֣ה יוֹשֵׁ֑ב מִדִּבְרֵיהֶ֤ם אַל־תִּירָא֙ וּמִפְּנֵיהֶ֣ם אַל־תֵּחָ֔ת כִּ֛י בֵּ֥ית מְרִ֖י הֵֽמָּה׃ Ezekiel Eze 2:6 And you, son of man, neither fear them nor fear their words, though thistles and thorns are with you and you sit on scorpions; neither fear their words nor be dismayed at their presence, for they are a rebellious house. (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 2:8 ============ Eze 2:8 But thou, son of man, hear what I say unto thee; Be not thou rebellious like that rebellious house: open thy mouth, and eat that I give thee.(KJV) Ezekiel 2:8 But thou sonne of man, heare what I say vnto thee: be not thou rebellious, like this rebellious house: open thy mouth, and eate that I giue thee.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 2:8 Et toi, fils de l'homme, écoute ce que je vais te dire! Ouvre ta bouche, et mange ce que je te donnerai!(FR) 8 ׃2 וְאַתָּ֣ה בֶן־אָדָ֗ם שְׁמַע֙ אֵ֤ת אֲשֶׁר־אֲנִי֙ מְדַבֵּ֣ר אֵלֶ֔יךָ אַל־תְּהִי־מֶ֖רִי כְּבֵ֣ית הַמֶּ֑רִי פְּצֵ֣ה פִ֔יךָ וֶאֱכֹ֕ל אֵ֥ת אֲשֶׁר־אֲנִ֖י נֹתֵ֥ן אֵלֶֽיךָ׃ Ezekiel Eze 2:8 "Now you, son of man, listen to what I am speaking to you; do not be rebellious like that rebellious house. Open your mouth and eat what I am giving you."(nasb) ======= Ezekiel 2:9 ============ Eze 2:9 And when I looked, behold, an hand was sent unto me; and, lo, a roll of a book was therein;(KJV) Ezekiel 2:9 And when I looked vp, beholde, an hande was sent vnto me, and loe, a roule of a booke was therein.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 2:9 Je regardai, et voici, une main était étendue vers moi, et elle tenait un livre en rouleau.(FR) 9 ׃2 וָאֶרְאֶ֕ה וְהִנֵּה־יָ֖ד שְׁלוּחָ֣ה אֵלָ֑י וְהִנֵּה־ב֖וֹ מְגִלַּת־סֵֽפֶר׃ Ezekiel Eze 2:9 Then I looked, and behold, a hand was extended to me; and lo, a scroll was in it.
