O Lord my God, in You I put my trust; Save me from all those who persecute me; And deliver me,(nkjv) ======= Psalm 7:2 ============ Psa 7:2 Or he will tear my soul like a lion, Dragging me away, while there is none to deliver.(nas) Psa 7:2 κύριε ὁ θεός μου ἐπὶ σοὶ ἤλπισα σῶσόν με ἐκ πάντων τῶν διωκόντων με καὶ ῥῦσαί με (lxx) Psa 7:2 nequando rapiat ut leo animam meam, dum non est qui redimat, neque qui salvum faciat.(vulgate) 3 ׃7 פֶּן־יִטְרֹ֣ף כְּאַרְיֵ֣ה נַפְשִׁ֑י פֹּ֝רֵ֗ק וְאֵ֣ין מַצִּֽיל׃ Psalms Psa 7:2 daß sie nicht wie Löwen meine Seele erhaschen und zerreißen, weil kein Erretter da ist.(dhs) Psa 7:2 Lest they tear me like a lion, Rending me in pieces, while there is none to deliver.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 7:3 ============ Psa 7:3 O Lord my God, if I have done this, If there is injustice in my hands,(nas) Psa 7:3 μήποτε ἁρπάσῃ ὡς λέων τὴν ψυχήν μου μὴ ὄντος λυτρουμένου μηδὲ σῴζοντος (lxx) Psa 7:3 Domine Deus meus, si feci istud, si est iniquitas in manibus meis,(vulgate) 4 ׃7 יְהוָ֣ה אֱ֭לֹהַי אִם־עָשִׂ֣יתִי זֹ֑את אִֽם־יֶשׁ־עָ֥וֶל בְּכַפָּֽי׃ Psalms Psa 7:3 HERR, mein Gott, habe ich solches getan und ist Unrecht in meinen Händen;(dhs) Psa 7:3 O Lord my God, if I have done this: If there is iniquity in my hands,(nkjv) ======= Psalm 7:4 ============ Psa 7:4 If I have rewarded evil to my friend, Or have plundered him who without cause was my adversary,(nas) Psa 7:4 κύριε ὁ θεός μου εἰ ἐποίησα τοῦτο εἰ ἔστιν ἀδικία ἐν χερσίν μου (lxx) Psa 7:4 si reddidi retribuentibus mihi mala, decidam merito ab inimicis meis inanis.(vulgate) 5 ׃7 אִם־גָּ֭מַלְתִּי שֽׁוֹלְמִ֥י רָ֑ע וָאֲחַלְּצָ֖ה צוֹרְרִ֣י רֵיקָֽם׃ Psalms Psa 7:4 habe ich Böses vergolten denen, so friedlich mit mir lebten, oder die, so mir ohne Ursache feind waren, beschädigt:(dhs) Psa 7:4 If I have repaid evil to him who was at peace with me, Or have plundered my enemy without cause,(nkjv) ======= Psalm 7:5 ============ Psa 7:5 Let the enemy pursue my soul and overtake it; And let him trample my life down to the ground And lay my glory in the dust. Selah.(nas) Psa 7:5 εἰ ἀνταπέδωκα τοῖς ἀνταποδιδοῦσίν μοι κακά ἀποπέσοιν ἄρα ἀπὸ τῶν ἐχθρῶν μου κενός (lxx) Psa 7:5 Persequatur inimicus animam meam, et comprehendat; et conculcet in terra vitam meam, et gloriam meam in pulverem deducat.(vulgate) 6 ׃7 יִֽרַדֹּ֥ף אוֹיֵ֨ב ׀ נַפְשִׁ֡י וְיַשֵּׂ֗ג וְיִרְמֹ֣ס לָאָ֣רֶץ חַיָּ֑י וּכְבוֹדִ֓י ׀ לֶעָפָ֖ר יַשְׁכֵּ֣ן סֶֽלָה׃ Psalms Psa 7:5 so verfolge mein Feind meine Seele und ergreife sie und trete mein Leben zu Boden und lege meine Ehre in den Staub. (Sela.)(dhs) Psa 7:5 Let the enemy pursue me and overtake me; Yes, let him trample my life to the earth, And lay my honor in the dust. Selah(nkjv) ======= Psalm 7:6 ============ Psa 7:6 Arise, O Lord, in Your anger; Lift up Yourself against the rage of my adversaries, And arouse Yourself for me; You have appointed judgment.(nas) Psa 7:6 καταδιώξαι ἄρα ὁ ἐχθρὸς τὴν ψυχήν μου καὶ καταλάβοι καὶ καταπατήσαι εἰς γῆν τὴν ζωήν μου καὶ τὴν δόξαν μου εἰς χοῦν κατασκηνώσαι διάψαλμα (lxx) Psa 7:6 Exsurge, Domine, in ira tua, et exaltare in finibus inimicorum meorum: et exsurge, Domine Deus meus, in præcepto quod mandasti,(vulgate) 7 ׃7 ק֘וּמָ֤ה יְהוָ֨ה ׀ בְּאַפֶּ֗ךָ הִ֭נָּשֵׂא בְּעַבְר֣וֹת צוֹרְרָ֑י וְע֥וּרָה אֵ֝לַ֗י מִשְׁפָּ֥ט צִוִּֽיתָ׃ Psalms Psa 7:6 Stehe auf, HERR, in deinem Zorn, erhebe dich über den Grimm meiner Feinde und wache auf zu mir, der du Gericht verordnet hast,(dhs) Psa 7:6 Arise, O Lord, in Your anger; Lift Yourself up because of the rage of my enemies; Rise up for me to the judgment You have commanded!(nkjv) ======= Psalm 7:7 ============ Psa 7:7 Let the assembly of the peoples encompass You, And over them return on high.(nas) Psa 7:7 ἀνάστηθι κύριε ἐν ὀργῇ σου ὑψώθητι ἐν τοῖς πέρασι τῶν ἐχθρῶν μου ἐξεγέρθητι κύριε ὁ θεός μου ἐν προστάγματι ᾧ ἐνετείλω (lxx) Psa 7:7 et synagoga populorum circumdabit te: et propter hanc in altum regredere:(vulgate) 8 ׃7 וַעֲדַ֣ת לְ֭אֻמִּים תְּסוֹבְבֶ֑ךָּ וְ֝עָלֶ֗יהָ לַמָּר֥וֹם שֽׁוּבָה׃ Psalms Psa 7:7 daß sich die Völker um dich sammeln; und über ihnen kehre wieder zur Höhe.(dhs) Psa 7:7 So the congregation of the peoples shall surround You; For their sakes, therefore, return on high.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 7:8 ============ Psa 7:8 The Lord judges the peoples; Vindicate me, O Lord, according to my righteousness and my integrity that is in me.(nas) Psa 7:8 καὶ συναγωγὴ λαῶν κυκλώσει σε καὶ ὑπὲρ ταύτης εἰς ὕψος ἐπίστρεψον (lxx) Psa 7:8 Dominus judicat populos. Judica me, Domine, secundum justitiam meam, et secundum innocentiam meam super me.(vulgate) 9 ׃7 יְהוָה֮ יָדִ֢ין עַ֫מִּ֥ים שָׁפְטֵ֥נִי יְהוָ֑ה כְּצִדְקִ֖י וּכְתֻמִּ֣י עָלָֽי׃ Psalms Psa 7:8 Der HERR ist Richter über die Völker. Richte mich, HERR, nach deiner Gerechtigkeit und Frömmigkeit!(dhs) Psa 7:8 The Lord shall judge the peoples; Judge me, O Lord, according to my righteousness, And according to my integrity within me.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 7:9 ============ Psa 7:9 O let the evil of the wicked come to an end, but establish the righteous; For the righteous God tries the hearts and minds.(nas) Psa 7:9 κύριος κρινεῖ λαούς κρῖνόν με κύριε κατὰ τὴν δικαιοσύνην μου καὶ κατὰ τὴν ἀκακίαν μου ἐπ᾽ ἐμοί (lxx) Psa 7:9 Consumetur nequitia peccatorum, et diriges justum, scrutans corda et renes, Deus.(vulgate) 10 ׃7 יִגְמָר־נָ֬א רַ֨ע ׀ רְשָׁעִים֮ וּתְכוֹנֵ֢ן צַ֫דִּ֥יק וּבֹחֵ֣ן לִ֭בּ֗וֹת וּכְלָי֗וֹת אֱלֹהִ֥ים צַדּֽ͏ִיק׃ Psalms Psa 7:9 Laß der Gottlosen Bosheit ein Ende werden und fördere die Gerechten; denn du prüfst Herzen und Nieren.(dhs) Psa 7:9 Oh, let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end, But establish the just; For the righteous God tests the hearts and minds.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 7:10 ============ Psa 7:10 My shield is with God, Who saves the upright in heart.(nas) Psa 7:10 συντελεσθήτω δὴ πονηρία ἁμαρτωλῶν καὶ κατευθυνεῖς δίκαιον ἐτάζων καρδίας καὶ νεφροὺς ὁ θεός (lxx) Psa 7:10 Justum adjutorium meum a Domino, qui salvos facit rectos corde.(vulgate) 11 ׃7 מָֽגִנִּ֥י עַל־אֱלֹהִ֑ים מ֝וֹשִׁ֗יעַ יִשְׁרֵי־לֵֽב׃ Psalms Psa 7:10 Mein Schild ist bei Gott, der den frommen Herzen hilft.(dhs) Psa 7:10 My defense is of God, Who saves the upright in heart.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 7:11 ============ Psa 7:11 God is a righteous judge, And a God who has indignation every day.(nas) Psa 7:11 δικαία ἡ βοήθειά μου παρὰ τοῦ θεοῦ τοῦ σῴζοντος τοὺς εὐθεῖς τῇ καρδίᾳ (lxx) Psa 7:11 Deus judex justus, fortis, et patiens; numquid irascitur per singulos dies?(vulgate) 12 ׃7 אֱ֭לֹהִים שׁוֹפֵ֣ט צַדִּ֑יק וְ֝אֵ֗ל זֹעֵ֥ם בְּכָל־יֽוֹם׃ Psalms Psa 7:11 Gott ist ein rechter Richter und ein Gott, der täglich droht.(dhs) Psa 7:11 God is a just judge, And God is angry with the wicked every day.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 7:12 ============ Psa 7:12 If a man does not repent, He will sharpen His sword; He has bent His bow and made it ready.(nas) Psa 7:12 ὁ θεὸς κριτὴς δίκαιος καὶ ἰσχυρὸς καὶ μακρόθυμος μὴ ὀργὴν ἐπάγων καθ᾽ ἑκάστην ἡμέραν (lxx) Psa 7:12 Nisi conversi fueritis, gladium suum vibrabit; arcum suum tetendit, et paravit illum.(vulgate) 13 ׃7 אִם־לֹ֣א יָ֭שׁוּב חַרְבּ֣וֹ יִלְט֑וֹשׁ קַשְׁתּ֥וֹ דָ֝רַ֗ךְ וַֽיְכוֹנְנֶֽהָ׃ Psalms Psa 7:12 Will man sich nicht bekehren, so hat er sein Schwert gewetzt und seinen Bogen gespannt und zielt(dhs) Psa 7:12 If he does not turn back, He will sharpen His sword; He bends His bow and makes it ready.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 7:13 ============ Psa 7:13 He has also prepared for Himself deadly weapons; He makes His arrows fiery shafts.(nas) Psa 7:13 ἐὰν μὴ ἐπιστραφῆτε τὴν ῥομφαίαν αὐτοῦ στιλβώσει τὸ τόξον αὐτοῦ ἐνέτεινεν καὶ ἡτοίμασεν αὐτὸ (lxx) Psa 7:13 Et in eo paravit vasa mortis, sagittas suas ardentibus effecit.(vulgate) 14 ׃7 וְ֭לוֹ הֵכִ֣ין כְּלֵי־מָ֑וֶת חִ֝צָּ֗יו לְֽדֹלְקִ֥ים יִפְעָֽל׃ Psalms Psa 7:13 und hat darauf gelegt tödliche Geschosse; seine Pfeile hat er zugerichtet, zu verderben.(dhs) Psa 7:13 He also prepares for Himself instruments of death; He makes His arrows into fiery shafts.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 7:14 ============ Psa 7:14 Behold, he travails with wickedness, And he conceives mischief and brings forth falsehood.(nas) Psa 7:14 καὶ ἐν αὐτῷ ἡτοίμασεν σκεύη θανάτου τὰ βέλη αὐτοῦ τοῖς καιομένοις ἐξειργάσατο (lxx) Psa 7:14 Ecce parturiit injustitiam; concepit dolorem, et peperit iniquitatem.(vulgate) 15 ׃7 הִנֵּ֥ה יְחַבֶּל־אָ֑וֶן וְהָרָ֥ה עָ֝מָ֗ל וְיָ֣לַד שָֽׁקֶר׃ Psalms Psa 7:14 Siehe, der hat Böses im Sinn; mit Unglück ist er schwanger und wird Lüge gebären.(dhs) Psa 7:14 Behold, the wicked brings forth iniquity; Yes, he conceives trouble and brings forth falsehood.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 7:15 ============ Psa 7:15 He has dug a pit and hollowed it out, And has fallen into the hole which he made.(nas) Psa 7:15 ἰδοὺ ὠδίνησεν ἀδικίαν συνέλαβεν πόνον καὶ ἔτεκεν ἀνομίαν (lxx) Psa 7:15 Lacum aperuit, et effodit eum; et incidit in foveam quam fecit.(vulgate) 16 ׃7 בּ֣וֹר כָּ֭רָֽה וַֽיַּחְפְּרֵ֑הוּ וַ֝יִּפֹּ֗ל בְּשַׁ֣חַת יִפְעָֽל׃ Psalms Psa 7:15 Er hat eine Grube gegraben und ausgehöhlt und ist in die Grube gefallen, die er gemacht hat,(dhs) Psa 7:15 He made a pit and dug it out, And has fallen into the ditch which he made.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 7:16 ============ Psa 7:16 His mischief will return upon his own head, And his violence will descend upon his own pate.(nas) Psa 7:16 λάκκον ὤρυξεν καὶ ἀνέσκαψεν αὐτὸν καὶ ἐμπεσεῖται εἰς βόθρον ὃν εἰργάσατο (lxx) Psa 7:16 Convertetur dolor ejus in caput ejus, et in verticem ipsius iniquitas ejus descendet.(vulgate) 17 ׃7 יָשׁ֣וּב עֲמָל֣וֹ בְרֹאשׁ֑וֹ וְעַ֥ל קָ֝דְקֳד֗וֹ חֲמָס֥וֹ יֵרֵֽד׃ Psalms Psa 7:16 Sein Unglück wird auf seinen Kopf kommen und sein Frevel auf seinen Scheitel fallen.(dhs) Psa 7:16 His trouble shall return upon his own head, And his violent dealing shall come down on his own crown.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 7:17 ============ Psa 7:17 I will give thanks to the Lord according to His righteousness And will sing praise to the name of the Lord Most High.(nas) Psa 7:17 ἐξομολογήσομαι κυρίῳ κατὰ τὴν δικαιοσύνην αὐτοῦ καὶ ψαλῶ τῷ ὀνόματι κυρίου τοῦ ὑψίστου (lxx) Psa 7:17 Confitebor Domino secundum justitiam ejus, et psallam nomini Domini altissimi.](vulgate) 18 ׃7 אוֹדֶ֣ה יְהוָ֣ה כְּצִדְק֑וֹ וַ֝אֲזַמְּרָ֗ה שֵֽׁם־יְהוָ֥ה עֶלְיֽוֹן׃ Psalms Psa 7:17 Ich danke dem HERRN um seiner Gerechtigkeit willen und will loben den Namen des HERRN, des Allerhöchsten.(dhs) Psa 7:17 I will praise the Lord according to His righteousness, And will sing praise to the name of the Lord Most High.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 8:1 ============ top of the page
