I will praise You, O Lord, with my whole heart; I will tell of all Your marvelous works.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 9:2 ============ Psa 9:2 I will be glad and exult in You; I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High.(nas) Psa 9:2 ἐξομολογήσομαί σοι κύριε ἐν ὅλῃ καρδίᾳ μου διηγήσομαι πάντα τὰ θαυμάσιά σου (lxx) Psa 9:2 [Vulgate 9:3] laetabor et gaudebo in te canam nomini tuo Altissimi(vulgate) 3 ׃9 אֶשְׂמְחָ֣ה וְאֶעֶלְצָ֣ה בָ֑ךְ אֲזַמְּרָ֖ה שִׁמְךָ֣ עֶלְיֽוֹן׃ Psalms Psa 9:2 Ich freue mich und bin fröhlich in dir und lobe deinen Namen, du Allerhöchster,(dhs) Psa 9:2 I will be glad and rejoice in You; I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 9:3 ============ Psa 9:3 When my enemies turn back, They stumble and perish before You.(nas) Psa 9:3 εὐφρανθήσομαι καὶ ἀγαλλιάσομαι ἐν σοί ψαλῶ τῷ ὀνόματί σου ὕψιστε (lxx) Psa 9:3 [Vulgate 9:4] cum ceciderint inimici mei retrorsum et corruerint et perierint a facie tua(vulgate) 4 ׃9 בְּשׁוּב־אוֹיְבַ֥י אָח֑וֹר יִכָּשְׁל֥וּ וְ֝יֹאבְד֗וּ מִפָּנֶֽיךָ׃ Psalms Psa 9:3 daß du meine Feinde hinter sich getrieben hast; sie sind gefallen und umgekommen vor dir.(dhs) Psa 9:3 When my enemies turn back, They shall fall and perish at Your presence.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 9:4 ============ Psa 9:4 For You have maintained my just cause; You have sat on the throne judging righteously.(nas) Psa 9:4 ἐν τῷ ἀποστραφῆναι τὸν ἐχθρόν μου εἰς τὰ ὀπίσω ἀσθενήσουσιν καὶ ἀπολοῦνται ἀπὸ προσώπου σου (lxx) Psa 9:4 [Vulgate 9:5] fecisti enim iudicium meum et causam meam sedisti super solium iudex iustitiae(vulgate) 5 ׃9 כִּֽי־עָ֭שִׂיתָ מִשְׁפָּטִ֣י וְדִינִ֑י יָשַׁ֥בְתָּ לְ֝כִסֵּ֗א שׁוֹפֵ֥ט צֶֽדֶק׃ Psalms Psa 9:4 Denn du führest mein Recht und meine Sache aus; du sitzest auf dem Stuhl, ein rechter Richter.(dhs) Psa 9:4 For You have maintained my right and my cause; You sat on the throne judging in righteousness.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 9:5 ============ Psa 9:5 You have rebuked the nations, You have destroyed the wicked; You have blotted out their name forever and ever.(nas) Psa 9:5 ὅτι ἐποίησας τὴν κρίσιν μου καὶ τὴν δίκην μου ἐκάθισας ἐπὶ θρόνου ὁ κρίνων δικαιοσύνην (lxx) Psa 9:5 [Vulgate 9:6] increpuisti gentes periit impius nomen eorum delisti in sempiternum et iugiter(vulgate) 6 ׃9 גָּעַ֣רְתָּ ג֭וֹיִם אִבַּ֣דְתָּ רָשָׁ֑ע שְׁמָ֥ם מָ֝חִ֗יתָ לְעוֹלָ֥ם וָעֶֽד׃ Psalms Psa 9:5 Du schiltst die Heiden und bringst die Gottlosen um; ihren Namen vertilgst du immer und ewiglich.(dhs) Psa 9:5 You have rebuked the nations, You have destroyed the wicked; You have blotted out their name forever and ever.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 9:6 ============ Psa 9:6 The enemy has come to an end in perpetual ruins, And You have uprooted the cities; The very memory of them has perished.(nas) Psa 9:6 ἐπετίμησας ἔθνεσιν καὶ ἀπώλετο ὁ ἀσεβής τὸ ὄνομα αὐτῶν ἐξήλειψας εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα καὶ εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα τοῦ αἰῶνος (lxx) Psa 9:6 [Vulgate 9:7] conpletae sunt solitudines in finem et civitates subvertisti periit memoria eorum cum ipsis(vulgate) 7 ׃9 הָֽאוֹיֵ֨ב ׀ תַּ֥מּוּ חֳרָב֗וֹת לָ֫נֶ֥צַח וְעָרִ֥ים נָתַ֑שְׁתָּ אָבַ֖ד זִכְרָ֣ם הֵֽמָּה׃ Psalms Psa 9:6 Die Schwerter des Feindes haben ein Ende; die Städte hast du umgekehrt; ihr Gedächtnis ist umgekommen samt ihnen.(dhs) Psa 9:6 O enemy, destructions are finished forever! And you have destroyed cities; Even their memory has perished.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 9:7 ============ Psa 9:7 But the Lord abides forever; He has established His throne for judgment,(nas) Psa 9:7 τοῦ ἐχθροῦ ἐξέλιπον αἱ ῥομφαῖαι εἰς τέλος καὶ πόλεις καθεῖλες ἀπώλετο τὸ μνημόσυνον αὐτῶν μετ᾽ ἤχους (lxx) Psa 9:7 [Vulgate 9:8] Dominus autem in sempiternum sedebit stabilivit ad iudicandum solium suum(vulgate) 8 ׃9 וַֽ֭יהוָה לְעוֹלָ֣ם יֵשֵׁ֑ב כּוֹנֵ֖ן לַמִּשְׁפָּ֣ט כִּסְאֽוֹ׃ Psalms Psa 9:7 Der HERR aber bleibt ewiglich; er hat seinen Stuhl bereitet zum Gericht,(dhs) Psa 9:7 But the Lord shall endure forever; He has prepared His throne for judgment.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 9:8 ============ Psa 9:8 And He will judge the world in righteousness; He will execute judgment for the peoples with equity.(nas) Psa 9:8 καὶ ὁ κύριος εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα μένει ἡτοίμασεν ἐν κρίσει τὸν θρόνον αὐτοῦ (lxx) Psa 9:8 [Vulgate 9:9] et ipse iudicat orbem in iustitia iudicat populos in aequitatibus(vulgate) 9 ׃9 וְה֗וּא יִשְׁפֹּֽט־תֵּבֵ֥ל בְּצֶ֑דֶק יָדִ֥ין לְ֝אֻמִּ֗ים בְּמֵישָֽׁ[t]רִים׃ Psalms Psa 9:8 und er wird den Erdboden recht richten und die Völker regieren rechtschaffen.(dhs) Psa 9:8 He shall judge the world in righteousness, And He shall administer judgment for the peoples in uprightness.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 9:9 ============ Psa 9:9 The Lord also will be a stronghold for the oppressed, A stronghold in times of trouble;(nas) Psa 9:9 καὶ αὐτὸς κρινεῖ τὴν οἰκουμένην ἐν δικαιοσύνῃ κρινεῖ λαοὺς ἐν εὐθύτητι (lxx) Psa 9:9 [Vulgate 9:10] et erit Dominus elevatio oppresso elevatio oportuna in angustia(vulgate) 10 ׃9 וִ֘יהִ֤י יְהוָ֣ה מִשְׂגָּ֣ב לַדָּ֑ךְ מִ֝שְׂגָּ֗ב לְעִתּ֥וֹת בַּצָּרָֽה׃ Psalms Psa 9:9 Und der HERR ist des Armen Schutz, ein Schutz in der Not.(dhs) Psa 9:9 The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed, A refuge in times of trouble.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 9:10 ============ Psa 9:10 And those who know Your name will put their trust in You, For You, O Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You.(nas) Psa 9:10 καὶ ἐγένετο κύριος καταφυγὴ τῷ πένητι βοηθὸς ἐν εὐκαιρίαις ἐν θλίψει (lxx) Psa 9:10 [Vulgate 9:11] et confident in te qui noverunt nomen tuum quoniam non dereliquisti quaerentes te Domine(vulgate) 11 ׃9 וְיִבְטְח֣וּ בְ֭ךָ יוֹדְעֵ֣י שְׁמֶ֑ךָ כִּ֤י לֹֽא־עָזַ֖בְתָּ דֹרְשֶׁ֣יךָ יְהוָֽה׃ Psalms Psa 9:10 Darum hoffen auf dich, die deinen Namen kennen; denn du verlässest nicht, die dich, HERR, suchen.(dhs) Psa 9:10 And those who know Your name will put their trust in You; For You, Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 9:11 ============ Psa 9:11 Sing praises to the Lord, who dwells in Zion; Declare among the peoples His deeds.(nas) Psa 9:11 καὶ ἐλπισάτωσαν ἐπὶ σὲ οἱ γινώσκοντες τὸ ὄνομά σου ὅτι οὐκ ἐγκατέλιπες τοὺς ἐκζητοῦντάς σε κύριε (lxx) Psa 9:11 [Vulgate 9:12] cantate Domino habitatori Sion adnuntiate in populis commutationes eius(vulgate) 12 ׃9 זַמְּר֗וּ לַ֭יהוָה יֹשֵׁ֣ב צִיּ֑וֹן הַגִּ֥ידוּ בָ֝עַמִּ֗ים עֲלִֽילוֹתָֽיו׃ Psalms Psa 9:11 Lobet den HERRN, der zu Zion wohnt; verkündiget unter den Völkern sein Tun!(dhs) Psa 9:11 Sing praises to the Lord, who dwells in Zion! Declare His deeds among the people.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 9:12 ============ Psa 9:12 For He who requires blood remembers them; He does not forget the cry of the afflicted.(nas) Psa 9:12 ψάλατε τῷ κυρίῳ τῷ κατοικοῦντι ἐν Σιων ἀναγγείλατε ἐν τοῖς ἔθνεσιν τὰ ἐπιτηδεύματα αὐτοῦ (lxx) Psa 9:12 [Vulgate 9:13] quoniam quaerens sanguinem eorum recordatus est nec oblitus est clamoris pauperum(vulgate) 13 ׃9 כִּֽי־דֹרֵ֣שׁ דָּ֭מִים אוֹתָ֣ם זָכָ֑ר לֹֽא־שָׁ֝כַ֗ח צַעֲקַ֥ת *עניים **עֲנָוֽ͏ִים׃ Psalms Psa 9:12 Denn er gedenkt und fragt nach ihrem Blut; er vergißt nicht des Schreiens der Armen.(dhs) Psa 9:12 When He avenges blood, He remembers them; He does not forget the cry of the humble.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 9:13 ============ Psa 9:13 Be gracious to me, O Lord; See my affliction from those who hate me, You who lift me up from the gates of death,(nas) Psa 9:13 ὅτι ἐκζητῶν τὰ αἵματα αὐτῶν ἐμνήσθη οὐκ ἐπελάθετο τῆς κραυγῆς τῶν πενήτων (lxx) Psa 9:13 [Vulgate 9:14] misertus est mei Dominus vidit adflictionem meam ex inimicis meis(vulgate) 14 ׃9 חָֽנְנֵ֬נִי יְהוָ֗ה רְאֵ֣ה עָ֭נְיִי מִשֹּׂנְאָ֑י מְ֝רוֹמְמִ֗י מִשַּׁ֥עֲרֵי מָֽוֶת׃ Psalms Psa 9:13 HERR, sei mir gnädig; siehe an mein Elend unter den Feinden, der du mich erhebst aus den Toren des Todes,(dhs) Psa 9:13 Have mercy on me, O Lord! Consider my trouble from those who hate me, You who lift me up from the gates of death,(nkjv) ======= Psalm 9:14 ============ Psa 9:14 That I may tell of all Your praises, That in the gates of the daughter of Zion I may rejoice in Your salvation.(nas) Psa 9:14 ἐλέησόν με κύριε ἰδὲ τὴν ταπείνωσίν μου ἐκ τῶν ἐχθρῶν μου ὁ ὑψῶν με ἐκ τῶν πυλῶν τοῦ θανάτου (lxx) Psa 9:14 [Vulgate 9:15] qui exaltat me de portis mortis ut narrem omnes laudes tuas in portis filiae Sion(vulgate) 15 ׃9 לְמַ֥עַן אֲסַפְּרָ֗ה כָּֽל־תְּהִלָּ֫תֶ֥יךָ בְּשַֽׁעֲרֵ֥י בַת־צִיּ֑וֹן אָ֝גִ֗ילָה בִּישׁוּעָתֶֽךָ׃ Psalms Psa 9:14 auf daß ich erzähle all deinen Preis in den Toren der Tochter Zion, daß ich fröhlich sei über deine Hilfe.(dhs) Psa 9:14 That I may tell of all Your praise In the gates of the daughter of Zion. I will rejoice in Your salvation.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 9:15 ============ Psa 9:15 The nations have sunk down in the pit which they have made; In the net which they hid, their own foot has been caught.(nas) Psa 9:15 ὅπως ἂν ἐξαγγείλω πάσας τὰς αἰνέσεις σου ἐν ταῖς πύλαις τῆς θυγατρὸς Σιων ἀγαλλιάσομαι ἐπὶ τῷ σωτηρίῳ σου (lxx) Psa 9:15 [Vulgate 9:16] exultabo in salutari tuo demersae sunt gentes in interitu quem fecerunt in rete quod absconderant captus est pes eorum(vulgate) 16 ׃9 טָבְע֣וּ ג֭וֹיִם בְּשַׁ֣חַת עָשׂ֑וּ בְּרֶֽשֶׁת־ז֥וּ טָ֝מָ֗נוּ נִלְכְּדָ֥ה רַגְלָֽם׃ Psalms Psa 9:15 Die Heiden sind versunken in der Grube, die sie zugerichtet hatten; ihr Fuß ist gefangen in dem Netz, das sie gestellt hatten.(dhs) Psa 9:15 The nations have sunk down in the pit which they made; In the net which they hid, their own foot is caught.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 9:16 ============ Psa 9:16 The Lord has made Himself known; He has executed judgment. Selah(nkjv) ======= Psalm 9:17 ============ Psa 9:17 The wicked will return to Sheol, Even all the nations who forget God.(nas) Psa 9:17 γινώσκεται κύριος κρίματα ποιῶν ἐν τοῖς ἔργοις τῶν χειρῶν αὐτοῦ συνελήμφθη ὁ ἁμαρτωλός ᾠδὴ διαψάλματος (lxx) Psa 9:17 [Vulgate 9:18] convertantur impii in infernum omnes gentes quae oblitae sunt Deum(vulgate) 18 ׃9 יָשׁ֣וּבוּ רְשָׁעִ֣ים לִשְׁא֑וֹלָה כָּל־גּ֝וֹיִ֗ם שְׁכֵחֵ֥י אֱלֹהִֽים׃ Psalms Psa 9:17 Ach daß die Gottlosen müßten zur Hölle gekehrt werden, alle Heiden, die Gottes vergessen!(dhs) Psa 9:17 The wicked shall be turned into hell, And all the nations that forget God.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 9:18 ============ Psa 9:18 For the needy will not always be forgotten, Nor the hope of the afflicted perish forever.(nas) Psa 9:18 ἀποστραφήτωσαν οἱ ἁμαρτωλοὶ εἰς τὸν ᾅδην πάντα τὰ ἔθνη τὰ ἐπιλανθανόμενα τοῦ θεοῦ (lxx) Psa 9:18 [Vulgate 9:19] quoniam non in aeternum oblivioni erit pauper expectatio pauperum non peribit in perpetuum(vulgate) 19 ׃9 כִּ֤י לֹ֣א לָ֭נֶצַח יִשָּׁכַ֣ח אֶבְי֑וֹן תִּקְוַ֥ת *ענוים **עֲ֝נִיִּ֗ים תֹּאבַ֥ד לָעַֽד׃ Psalms Psa 9:18 Denn er wird des Armen nicht so ganz vergessen, und die Hoffnung der Elenden wird nicht verloren sein ewiglich.(dhs) Psa 9:18 For the needy shall not always be forgotten; The expectation of the poor shall not perish forever.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 9:19 ============ Psa 9:19 Arise, O Lord, do not let man prevail; Let the nations be judged before You.(nas) Psa 9:19 ὅτι οὐκ εἰς τέλος ἐπιλησθήσεται ὁ πτωχός ἡ ὑπομονὴ τῶν πενήτων οὐκ ἀπολεῖται εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα (lxx) Psa 9:19 [Vulgate 9:20] surge Domine non confortetur homo iudicentur gentes ante faciem tuam(vulgate) 20 ׃9 קוּמָ֣ה יְ֭הוָה אַל־יָעֹ֣ז אֱנ֑וֹשׁ יִשָּׁפְט֥וּ ג֝וֹיִ֗ם עַל־פָּנֶֽיךָ׃ Psalms Psa 9:19 HERR, stehe auf, daß die Menschen nicht Oberhand haben; laß alle Heiden vor dir gerichtet werden!(dhs) Psa 9:19 Arise, O Lord, Do not let man prevail; Let the nations be judged in Your sight.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 9:20 ============ Psa 9:20 Put them in fear, O Lord; Let the nations know that they are but men.
