O Lord, our Lord, How excellent is Your name in all the earth, Who have set Your glory above the heavens!(nkjv) ======= Psalm 8:2 ============ Psa 8:2 From the mouth of infants and nursing babes You have established strength Because of Your adversaries, To make the enemy and the revengeful cease.(nas) Psa 8:2 κύριε ὁ κύριος ἡμῶν ὡς θαυμαστὸν τὸ ὄνομά σου ἐν πάσῃ τῇ γῇ ὅτι ἐπήρθη ἡ μεγαλοπρέπειά σου ὑπεράνω τῶν οὐρανῶν (lxx) Psa 8:2 Ex ore infantium et lactentium perfecisti laudem propter inimicos tuos, ut destruas inimicum et ultorem.(vulgate) 3 ׃8 מִפִּ֤י עֽוֹלְלִ֨ים ׀ וְֽיֹנְקִים֮ יִסַּ֢דְתָּ֫ עֹ֥ז לְמַ֥עַן צוֹרְרֶ֑יךָ לְהַשְׁבִּ֥ית א֝וֹיֵ֗ב וּמִתְנַקֵּֽ[t]ם׃ Psalms Psa 8:2 Aus dem Munde der jungen Kinder und Säuglinge hast du eine Macht zugerichtet um deiner Feinde willen, daß du vertilgest den Feind und den Rachgierigen.(dhs) Psa 8:2 Out of the mouth of babes and nursing infants You have ordained strength, Because of Your enemies, That You may silence the enemy and the avenger.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 8:3 ============ Psa 8:3 When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, The moon and the stars, which You have ordained;(nas) Psa 8:3 ἐκ στόματος νηπίων καὶ θηλαζόντων κατηρτίσω αἶνον ἕνεκα τῶν ἐχθρῶν σου τοῦ καταλῦσαι ἐχθρὸν καὶ ἐκδικητήν (lxx) Psa 8:3 Quoniam videbo cælos tuos, opera digitorum tuorum, lunam et stellas quæ tu fundasti.(vulgate) 4 ׃8 כִּֽי־אֶרְאֶ֣ה שָׁ֭מֶיךָ מַעֲשֵׂ֣י אֶצְבְּעֹתֶ֑יךָ יָרֵ֥חַ וְ֝כוֹכָבִ֗ים אֲשֶׁ֣ר כּוֹנָֽנְתָּה׃ Psalms Psa 8:3 Wenn ich sehe die Himmel, deiner Finger Werk, den Mond und die Sterne, die du bereitet hast:(dhs) Psa 8:3 When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, The moon and the stars, which You have ordained,(nkjv) ======= Psalm 8:4 ============ Psa 8:4 What is man that You take thought of him, And the son of man that You care for him?(nas) Psa 8:4 ὅτι ὄψομαι τοὺς οὐρανούς ἔργα τῶν δακτύλων σου σελήνην καὶ ἀστέρας ἃ σὺ ἐθεμελίωσας (lxx) Psa 8:4 Quid est homo, quod memor es ejus?
