The people of the land shall stone him with stones.(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 20:3 ============ Lev 20:3 I will also set My face against that man and will cut him off from among his people, because he has given some of his offspring to Molech, so as to defile My sanctuary and to profane My holy name.(nas) Lev 20:3 καὶ ἐγὼ ἐπιστήσω τὸ πρόσωπόν μου ἐπὶ τὸν ἄνθρωπον ἐκεῖνον καὶ ἀπολῶ αὐτὸν ἐκ τοῦ λαοῦ αὐτοῦ ὅτι τοῦ σπέρματος αὐτοῦ ἔδωκεν ἄρχοντι ἵνα μιάνῃ τὰ ἅγιά μου καὶ βεβηλώσῃ τὸ ὄνομα τῶν ἡγιασμένων μοι (lxx) Lev 20:3 Et ego ponam faciem meam contra illum: succidamque eum de medio populi sui, eo quod dederit de semine suo Moloch, et contaminaverit sanctuarium meum, ac polluerit nomen sanctum meum.(vulgate) Leviticus 20:3 And I will set my face against that man and cut him off from among his people, because he hath giuen his children vnto Molech, for to defile my Sanctuarie, and to pollute mine holye Name.(Geneva) Lev 20:3 Und ich will mein Antlitz setzen wider solchen Menschen und will ihn aus seinem Volk ausrotten, daß er dem Moloch eines seiner Kinder gegeben und mein Heiligtum verunreinigt und meinen heiligen Namen entheiligt hat.(dhs) Lev 20:3 I will set My face against that man, and will cut him off from his people, because he has given some of his descendants to Molech, to defile My sanctuary and profane My holy name.(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 20:4 ============ Lev 20:4 If the people of the land, however, should ever disregard that man when he gives any of his offspring to Molech, so as not to put him to death,(nas) Lev 20:4 ἐὰν δὲ ὑπερόψει ὑπερίδωσιν οἱ αὐτόχθονες τῆς γῆς τοῖς ὀφθαλμοῖς αὐτῶν ἀπὸ τοῦ ἀνθρώπου ἐκείνου ἐν τῷ δοῦναι αὐτὸν τοῦ σπέρματος αὐτοῦ ἄρχοντι τοῦ μὴ ἀποκτεῖναι αὐτόν (lxx) Lev 20:4 Quod si negligens populus terræ, et quasi parvipendens imperium meum, dimiserit hominem qui dedit de semine suo Moloch, nec voluerit eum occidere:(vulgate) Leviticus 20:4 And if the people of the lande hide their eyes, and winke at that man when he giueth his children vnto Molech, and kill him not,(Geneva) Lev 20:4 Und wo das Volk im Lande durch die Finger sehen würde dem Menschen, der eines seiner Kinder dem Moloch gegeben hat, daß es ihn nicht tötet,(dhs) Lev 20:4 And if the people of the land should in any way hide their eyes from the man, when he gives some of his descendants to Molech, and they do not kill him,(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 20:5 ============ Lev 20:5 then I Myself will set My face against that man and against his family, and I will cut off from among their people both him and all those who play the harlot after him, by playing the harlot after Molech.(nas) Lev 20:5 καὶ ἐπιστήσω τὸ πρόσωπόν μου ἐπὶ τὸν ἄνθρωπον ἐκεῖνον καὶ τὴν συγγένειαν αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀπολῶ αὐτὸν καὶ πάντας τοὺς ὁμονοοῦντας αὐτῷ ὥστε ἐκπορνεύειν αὐτὸν εἰς τοὺς ἄρχοντας ἐκ τοῦ λαοῦ αὐτῶν (lxx) Lev 20:5 ponam faciem meam super hominem illum, et super cognationem ejus, succidamque et ipsum, et omnes qui consenserunt ei ut fornicarentur cum Moloch, de medio populi sui.(vulgate) Leviticus 20:5 Then will I set my face against that man, and against his familie, and will cut him off, and all that go a whoring after him to comit whoredome with Molech, from among their people.(Geneva) Lev 20:5 so will doch ich mein Antlitz wider denselben Menschen setzen und wider sein Geschlecht und will ihn und alle, die mit ihm mit dem Moloch Abgötterei getrieben haben, aus ihrem Volke ausrotten.(dhs) Lev 20:5 then I will set My face against that man and against his family; Their blood shall be upon them.(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 20:12 ============ Lev 20:12 If there is a man who lies with his daughter-in-law, both of them shall surely be put to death; they have committed incest, their bloodguiltiness is upon them.(nas) Lev 20:12 καὶ ἐάν τις κοιμηθῇ μετὰ νύμφης αὐτοῦ θανάτῳ θανατούσθωσαν ἀμφότεροι ἠσεβήκασιν γάρ ἔνοχοί εἰσιν (lxx) Lev 20:12 Si quis dormierit cum nuru sua, uterque moriatur, quia scelus operati sunt: sanguis eorum sit super eos.(vulgate) Leviticus 20:12 Also the man that lyeth with his daughter in lawe, they both shall dye the death, they haue wrought abomination, their blood shalbe vpon them.(Geneva) Lev 20:12 Wenn jemand bei seiner Schwiegertochter schläft, so sollen sie beide des Todes sterben; ihr Blut sei auf ihnen.(dhs) Lev 20:12 If a man lies with his daughter-in-law, both of them shall surely be put to death. They have committed perversion. Their blood shall be upon them.(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 20:13 ============ Lev 20:13 If there is a man who lies with a male as those who lie with a woman, both of them have committed a detestable act; they shall surely be put to death. Their bloodguiltiness is upon them.(nas) Lev 20:13 καὶ ὃς ἂν κοιμηθῇ μετὰ ἄρσενος κοίτην γυναικός βδέλυγμα ἐποίησαν ἀμφότεροι θανατούσθωσαν ἔνοχοί εἰσιν (lxx) Lev 20:13 Qui dormierit cum masculo coitu femineo, uterque operatus est nefas: morte moriantur: sit sanguis eorum super eos.(vulgate) Leviticus 20:13 The ma also that lyeth with the male, as one lyeth with a woman, they haue both committed abomination: they shall dye the death, their blood shalbe vpon them.(Geneva) Lev 20:13 Wenn jemand beim Knaben schläft wie beim Weibe, die haben einen Greuel getan und sollen beide des Todes sterben; ihr Blut sei auf ihnen.(dhs) Lev 20:13 If a man lies with a male as he lies with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination. Their blood is upon them.(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 20:17 ============ Lev 20:17 'If there is a man who takes his sister, his father's daughter or his mother's daughter, so that he sees her nakedness and she sees his nakedness, it is a disgrace; and they shall be cut off in the sight of the sons of their people. He has uncovered his sister's nakedness; he bears his guilt.(nas) Lev 20:17 ὃς ἐὰν λάβῃ τὴν ἀδελφὴν αὐτοῦ ἐκ πατρὸς αὐτοῦ ἢ ἐκ μητρὸς αὐτοῦ καὶ ἴδῃ τὴν ἀσχημοσύνην αὐτῆς καὶ αὕτη ἴδῃ τὴν ἀσχημοσύνην αὐτοῦ ὄνειδός ἐστιν ἐξολεθρευθήσονται ἐνώπιον υἱῶν γένους αὐτῶν ἀσχημοσύνην ἀδελφῆς αὐτοῦ ἀπεκάλυψεν ἁμαρτίαν κομιοῦνται (lxx) Lev 20:17 Qui acceperit sororem suam filiam patris sui, vel filiam matris suæ, et viderit turpitudinem ejus, illaque conspexerit fratris ignominiam, nefariam rem operati sunt: occidentur in conspectu populi sui, eo quod turpitudinem suam mutuo revelaverint, et portabunt iniquitatem suam.(vulgate) Leviticus 20:17 Also the man that taketh his sister, his fathers daughter, or his mothers daughter, & seeth her shame and she seeth his shame, it is villenie: therefore they shall be cut off in the sight of their people, because he hath vncouered his sisters shame, he shall beare his iniquitie.(Geneva) Lev 20:17 Wenn jemand seine Schwester nimmt, seines Vaters Tochter oder seiner Mutter Tochter, und ihre Blöße schaut und sie wieder seine Blöße, das ist Blutschande. Die sollen ausgerottet werden vor den Leuten ihres Volks; denn er hat seiner Schwester Blöße aufgedeckt; er soll seine Missetat tragen.(dhs) Lev 20:17 If a man takes his sister, his father's daughter or his mother's daughter, and sees her nakedness and she sees his nakedness, it is a wicked thing. And they shall be cut off in the sight of their people. He has uncovered his sister's nakedness. He shall bear his guilt.(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 20:18 ============ Lev 20:18 If there is a man who lies with a menstruous woman and uncovers her nakedness, he has laid bare her flow, and she has exposed the flow of her blood; thus both of them shall be cut off from among their people.(nas) Lev 20:18 καὶ ἀνήρ ὃς ἂν κοιμηθῇ μετὰ γυναικὸς ἀποκαθημένης καὶ ἀποκαλύψῃ τὴν ἀσχημοσύνην αὐτῆς τὴν πηγὴν αὐτῆς ἀπεκάλυψεν καὶ αὕτη ἀπεκάλυψεν τὴν ῥύσιν τοῦ αἵματος αὐτῆς ἐξολεθρευθήσονται ἀμφότεροι ἐκ τοῦ γένους αὐτῶν (lxx) Lev 20:18 Qui coierit cum muliere in fluxu menstruo, et revelaverit turpitudinem ejus, ipsaque aperuerit fontem sanguinis sui, interficientur ambo de medio populi sui.(vulgate) Leviticus 20:18 The man also that lyeth with a woman hauing her disease, and vncouereth her shame, and openeth her fountaine, and she open the foutaine of her blood, they shall bee euen both cut off from among their people.(Geneva) Lev 20:18 Wenn ein Mann beim Weibe schläft zur Zeit ihrer Krankheit und entblößt ihre Scham und deckt ihren Brunnen auf, und entblößt den Brunnen ihres Bluts, die sollen beide aus ihrem Volk ausgerottet werden.(dhs) Lev 20:18 If a man lies with a woman during her sickness and uncovers her nakedness, he has exposed her flow, and she has uncovered the flow of her blood. Both of them shall be cut off from their people.(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 20:19 ============ Lev 20:19 You shall also not uncover the nakedness of your mother's sister or of your father's sister, for such a one has made naked his blood relative; they will bear their guilt.(nas) Lev 20:19 καὶ ἀσχημοσύνην ἀδελφῆς πατρός σου καὶ ἀδελφῆς μητρός σου οὐκ ἀποκαλύψεις τὴν γὰρ οἰκειότητα ἀπεκάλυψεν ἁμαρτίαν ἀποίσονται (lxx) Lev 20:19 Turpitudinem materteræ et amitæ tuæ non discooperies: qui hoc fecerit, ignominiam carnis suæ nudavit; portabunt ambo iniquitatem suam.(vulgate) Leviticus 20:19 Moreouer thou shalt not vncouer the shame of thy mothers sister, nor of thy fathers sister: because he hath vncouered his kin, they shall beare their iniquitie.(Geneva) Lev 20:19 Deiner Mutter Schwester Blöße und deines Vater Schwester Blöße sollst du nicht aufdecken; denn ein solcher hat seine nächste Blutsfreundin aufgedeckt, und sie sollen ihre Missetat tragen.(dhs) Lev 20:19 You shall not uncover the nakedness of your mother's sister nor of your father's sister, for that would uncover his near of kin. They shall bear their guilt.(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 20:20 ============ Lev 20:20 If there is a man who lies with his uncle's wife he has uncovered his uncle's nakedness; they will bear their sin.
