Then take scales for weighing and divide the hair. Then you shall take one third and strike it with the sword all around the city, and one third you shall scatter to the wind; and I will unsheathe a sword behind them. (nas) Eze 5:2 τὸ τέταρτον ἐν πυρὶ ἀνακαύσεις ἐν μέσῃ τῇ πόλει κατὰ τὴν πλήρωσιν τῶν ἡμερῶν τοῦ συγκλεισμοῦ καὶ λήμψῃ τὸ τέταρτον καὶ κατακαύσεις αὐτὸ ἐν μέσῳ αὐτῆς καὶ τὸ τέταρτον κατακόψεις ἐν ῥομφαίᾳ κύκλῳ αὐτῆς καὶ τὸ τέταρτον διασκορπίσεις τῷ πνεύματι καὶ μάχαιραν ἐκκενώσω ὀπίσω αὐτῶν (lxx) Eze 5:2 Tertiam partem igni combures in medio civitatis, juxta completionem dierum obsidionis, et assumes tertiam partem, et concides gladio in circuitu ejus: tertiam vero aliam disperges in ventum, et gladium nudabo post eos.(vulgate) Ezekiel 5:2 Thou shalt burne with fire the thirde part in the middes of the citie, when the dayes of the siege are fulfilled, and thou shalt take the other thirde part, and smite about it with a knife, and the last thirde part thou shalt scatter in the winde, and I will drawe out a sworde after them.(Geneva) Eze 5:2 Das eine dritte Teil sollst du mit Feuer verbrennen mitten in der Stadt, wenn die Tage der Belagerung um sind; das andere dritte Teil nimm und schlag's mit dem Schwert ringsumher; das letzte dritte Teil streue in den Wind, daß ich das Schwert hinter ihnen her ausziehe.(dhs) Eze 5:2 You shall burn with fire one-third in the midst of the city, when the days of the siege are finished; then you shall take one-third and strike around it with the sword, and one-third you shall scatter in the wind: I will draw out a sword after them.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 5:3 ============ Eze 5:3 Take also a few in number from them and bind them in the edges of your robes. (nas) Eze 5:3 καὶ λήμψῃ ἐκεῖθεν ὀλίγους ἐν ἀριθμῷ καὶ συμπεριλήμψῃ αὐτοὺς τῇ ἀναβολῇ σου (lxx) Eze 5:3 Et sumes inde parvum numerum, et ligabis eos in summitate pallii tui:(vulgate) Ezekiel 5:3 Thou shalt also take thereof a fewe in nomber, and binde them in thy lappe.(Geneva) Eze 5:3 Nimm aber ein klein wenig davon und binde es in deinen Mantelzipfel.(dhs) Eze 5:3 You shall also take a small number of them and bind them in the edge of your garment.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 5:4 ============ Eze 5:4 Take again some of them and throw them into the fire and burn them in the fire; from it a fire will spread to all the house of Israel. (nas) Eze 5:4 καὶ ἐκ τούτων λήμψῃ ἔτι καὶ ῥίψεις αὐτοὺς εἰς μέσον τοῦ πυρὸς καὶ κατακαύσεις αὐτοὺς ἐν πυρί ἐξ αὐτῆς ἐξελεύσεται πῦρ καὶ ἐρεῖς παντὶ οἴκῳ Ισραηλ (lxx) Eze 5:4 et ex eis rursum tolles, et projicies eos in medio ignis, et combures eos igni, et ex eo egredietur ignis in omnem domum Israël.~(vulgate) Ezekiel 5:4 Then take of them againe and cast them into the middes of the fire, and burne them in the fire: for thereof shall a fire come foorth into all the house of Israel.(Geneva) Eze 5:4 Und nimm wiederum etliches davon und wirf's in ein Feuer und verbrenne es mit Feuer; von dem soll ein Feuer auskommen über das ganze Haus Israel.(dhs) Eze 5:4 Then take some of them again and throw them into the midst of the fire, and burn them in the fire. (nas) Eze 5:5 τάδε λέγει κύριος αὕτη ἡ Ιερουσαλημ ἐν μέσῳ τῶν ἐθνῶν τέθεικα αὐτὴν καὶ τὰς κύκλῳ αὐτῆς χώρας (lxx) Eze 5:5 Hæc dicit Dominus Deus: Ista est Jerusalem: in medio gentium posui eam, et in circuitu ejus terras.(vulgate) Ezekiel 5:5 Thus saith the Lorde God, This is Ierusalem: I haue set it in the middes of the nations and countreyes, that are rounde about her.(Geneva) Eze 5:5 So spricht der HERR HERR: Das ist Jerusalem, das ich mitten unter die Heiden gesetzt habe und ringsherum Länder.(dhs) Eze 5:5 "Thus says the Lord God: 'This is Jerusalem; I have set her in the midst of the nations and the countries all around her.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 5:6 ============ Eze 5:6 But she has rebelled against My ordinances more wickedly than the nations and against My statutes more than the lands which surround her; for they have rejected My ordinances and have not walked in My statutes.'(nas) Eze 5:6 καὶ ἐρεῖς τὰ δικαιώματά μου τῇ ἀνόμῳ ἐκ τῶν ἐθνῶν καὶ τὰ νόμιμά μου ἐκ τῶν χωρῶν τῶν κύκλῳ αὐτῆς διότι τὰ δικαιώματά μου ἀπώσαντο καὶ ἐν τοῖς νομίμοις μου οὐκ ἐπορεύθησαν ἐν αὐτοῖς (lxx) Eze 5:6 Et contempsit judicia mea, ut plus esset impia quam gentes, et præcepta mea ultra quam terræ quæ in circuitu ejus sunt: judicia enim mea projecerunt, et in præceptis meis non ambulaverunt.(vulgate) Ezekiel 5:6 And she hath changed my iudgements into wickednes more then the nations, and my statutes more then the countreis, that are round about her: for they haue refused my iudgemets & my statutes, & they haue not walked in them.(Geneva) Eze 5:6 Aber es hat mein Gesetz verwandelt in gottlose Lehre mehr denn die Länder, so ringsherum liegen. Denn sie verwerfen mein Gesetz und wollen nicht nach meinen Rechten leben.(dhs) Eze 5:6 She has rebelled against My judgments by doing wickedness more than the nations, and against My statutes more than the countries that are all around her; for they have refused My judgments, and they have not walked in My statutes.'(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 5:7 ============ Eze 5:7 Therefore, thus says the Lord God, 'Because you have more turmoil than the nations which surround you and have not walked in My statutes, nor observed My ordinances, nor observed the ordinances of the nations which surround you,'(nas) Eze 5:7 διὰ τοῦτο τάδε λέγει κύριος ἀνθ᾽ ὧν ἡ ἀφορμὴ ὑμῶν ἐκ τῶν ἐθνῶν τῶν κύκλῳ ὑμῶν καὶ ἐν τοῖς νομίμοις μου οὐκ ἐπορεύθητε καὶ τὰ δικαιώματά μου οὐκ ἐποιήσατε ἀλλ᾽ οὐδὲ κατὰ τὰ δικαιώματα τῶν ἐθνῶν τῶν κύκλῳ ὑμῶν οὐ πεποιήκατε (lxx) Eze 5:7 Idcirco hæc dicit Dominus Deus: Quia superastis gentes quæ in circuitu vestro sunt, et in præceptis meis non ambulastis, et judicia mea non fecistis, et juxta judicia gentium quæ in circuitu vestro sunt non estis operati,(vulgate) Ezekiel 5:7 Therefore thus saith the Lorde God, Because your multitude is greater then the nations that are rounde about you, and ye haue not walked in my statutes, neither haue ye kept my iudgements: no, ye haue not done according to the iudgements of the nations, that are rounde about you,(Geneva) Eze 5:7 Darum spricht der HERR also: Weil ihr's mehr macht denn die Heiden, so um euch her sind, und nach meinen Geboten nicht lebt und nach meinen Rechten nicht tut, sondern nach der Heiden Weise tut, die um euch her sind,(dhs) Eze 5:7 Therefore thus says the Lord God: 'Because you have multiplied disobedience more than the nations that are all around you, have not walked in My statutes nor kept My judgments, nor even done according to the judgments of the nations that are all around you'--(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 5:8 ============ Eze 5:8 therefore, thus says the Lord God, 'Behold, I, even I, am against you, and I will execute judgments among you in the sight of the nations. (nas) Eze 5:8 διὰ τοῦτο τάδε λέγει κύριος ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἐπὶ σὲ καὶ ποιήσω ἐν μέσῳ σου κρίμα ἐνώπιον τῶν ἐθνῶν (lxx) Eze 5:8 ideo hæc dicit Dominus Deus: Ecce ego ad te, et ipse ego faciam in medio tui judicia in oculis gentium:(vulgate) Ezekiel 5:8 Therefore thus saith the Lorde God, Beholde, I, euen I come against thee, and will execute iudgement in the middes of thee, euen in the sight of the nations.(Geneva) Eze 5:8 so spricht der HERR HERR also: Siehe, ich will auch an dich und will Recht über dich gehen lassen, daß die Heiden zusehen sollen;(dhs) Eze 5:8 therefore thus says the Lord God: 'Indeed I, even I, am against you and will execute judgments in your midst in the sight of the nations.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 5:9 ============ Eze 5:9 And because of all your abominations, I will do among you what I have not done, and the like of which I will never do again. (nas) Eze 5:9 καὶ ποιήσω ἐν σοὶ ἃ οὐ πεποίηκα καὶ ἃ οὐ ποιήσω ὅμοια αὐτοῖς ἔτι κατὰ πάντα τὰ βδελύγματά σου (lxx) Eze 5:9 et faciam in te quod non feci, et quibus similia ultra non faciam, propter omnes abominationes tuas.(vulgate) Ezekiel 5:9 And I will doe in thee, that I neuer did before, neither will do any more the like, because of all thine abominations.(Geneva) Eze 5:9 und will also mit dir umgehen, wie ich nie getan habe und hinfort nicht tun werde, um aller deiner Greuel willen:(dhs) Eze 5:9 And I will do among you what I have never done, and the like of which I will never do again, because of all your abominations.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 5:10 ============ Eze 5:10 Therefore, fathers will eat their sons among you, and sons will eat their fathers; for I will execute judgments on you and scatter all your remnant to every wind. (nas) Eze 5:10 διὰ τοῦτο πατέρες φάγονται τέκνα ἐν μέσῳ σου καὶ τέκνα φάγονται πατέρας καὶ ποιήσω ἐν σοὶ κρίματα καὶ διασκορπιῶ πάντας τοὺς καταλοίπους σου εἰς πάντα ἄνεμον (lxx) Eze 5:10 Ideo patres comedent filios in medio tui, et filii comedent patres suos: et faciam in te judicia, et ventilabo universas reliquias tuas in omnem ventum.~(vulgate) Ezekiel 5:10 For in the middes of thee, the fathers shall eate their sonnes, and the sonnes shall eate their fathers, and I will execute iudgement in thee, and the whole remnant of thee will I scatter into all the windes.(Geneva) Eze 5:10 daß in dir die Väter ihre Kinder und die Kinder ihre Väter fressen sollen; und will solch Recht über dich gehen lassen, daß alle deine übrigen sollen in alle Winde zerstreut werden.(dhs) Eze 5:10 Therefore fathers shall eat their sons in your midst, and sons shall eat their fathers; and I will execute judgments among you, and all of you who remain I will scatter to all the winds.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 5:11 ============ Eze 5:11 So as I live,' declares the Lord God, 'surely, because you have defiled My sanctuary with all your detestable idols and with all your abominations, therefore I will also withdraw, and My eye will have no pity and I will not spare. (nas) Eze 5:11 διὰ τοῦτο ζῶ ἐγώ λέγει κύριος εἰ μὴ ἀνθ᾽ ὧν τὰ ἅγιά μου ἐμίανας ἐν πᾶσιν τοῖς βδελύγμασίν σου κἀγὼ ἀπώσομαί σε οὐ φείσεταί μου ὁ ὀφθαλμός κἀγὼ οὐκ ἐλεήσω (lxx) Eze 5:11 Idcirco vivo ego, dicit Dominus Deus, nisi pro eo quod sanctum meum violasti in omnibus offensionibus tuis et in cunctis abominationibus tuis, ego quoque confringam: et non parcet oculus meus, et non miserebor.(vulgate) Ezekiel 5:11 Wherefore, as I liue, saith the Lorde God, Surely because thou hast defiled my Sanctuarie with all thy filthinesse, and with all thine abominations, therefore will I also destroy thee, neither shall mine eye spare thee, neither will I haue any pitie.(Geneva) Eze 5:11 Darum, so wahr als ich lebe, spricht der HERR HERR, weil du mein Heiligtum mit allen deinen Greueln und Götzen verunreinigt hast, will ich dich auch zerschlagen, und mein Auge soll dein nicht schonen, und ich will nicht gnädig sein.(dhs) Eze 5:11 Therefore, as I live,' says the Lord God, 'surely, because you have defiled My sanctuary with all your detestable things and with all your abominations, therefore I will also diminish you; My eye will not spare, nor will I have any pity.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 5:12 ============ Eze 5:12 One third of you will die by plague or be consumed by famine among you, one third will fall by the sword around you, and one third I will scatter to every wind, and I will unsheathe a sword behind them. (nas) Eze 5:13 καὶ συντελεσθήσεται ὁ θυμός μου καὶ ἡ ὀργή μου ἐπ᾽ αὐτούς καὶ ἐπιγνώσῃ διότι ἐγὼ κύριος λελάληκα ἐν ζήλῳ μου ἐν τῷ συντελέσαι με τὴν ὀργήν μου ἐπ᾽ αὐτούς (lxx) Eze 5:13 Et complebo furorem meum, et requiescere faciam indignationem meam in eis, et consolabor: et scient quia ego Dominus locutus sum in zelo meo, cum implevero indignationem meam in eis.(vulgate) Ezekiel 5:13 Thus shall mine anger bee accomplished, and I will cause my wrath to cease in them, and I will be comforted: and they shal knowe, that I the Lord haue spoke it in my zeale, when I haue accomplished my wrath in them.(Geneva) Eze 5:13 Also soll mein Zorn vollendet und mein Grimm an ihnen ausgerichtet werden, daß ich meinen Mut kühle; und sie sollen erfahren, daß ich, der HERR, in meinem Eifer geredet habe, wenn ich meine Grimm an ihnen ausgerichtet habe.(dhs) Eze 5:13 'Thus shall My anger be spent, and I will cause My fury to rest upon them, and I will be avenged; and they shall know that I, the Lord, have spoken it in My zeal, when I have spent My fury upon them.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 5:14 ============ Eze 5:14 Moreover, I will make you a desolation and a reproach among the nations which surround you, in the sight of all who pass by. (nas) Eze 5:14 καὶ θήσομαί σε εἰς ἔρημον καὶ τὰς θυγατέρας σου κύκλῳ σου ἐνώπιον παντὸς διοδεύοντος (lxx) Eze 5:14 Et dabo te in desertum, et in opprobrium gentibus quæ in circuitu tuo sunt, in conspectu omnis prætereuntis:(vulgate) Ezekiel 5:14 Moreouer, I will make thee waste, and abhorred among the nations, that are round about thee, and in the sight of all that passe by.(Geneva) Eze 5:14 Ich will dich zur Wüste und zur Schmach setzen vor den Heiden, so um dich her sind, vor den Augen aller, die vorübergehen.(dhs) Eze 5:14 Moreover I will make you a waste and a reproach among the nations that are all around you, in the sight of all who pass by.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 5:15 ============ Eze 5:15 So it will be a reproach, a reviling, a warning and an object of horror to the nations who surround you when I execute judgments against you in anger, wrath and raging rebukes. I, the Lord, have spoken. (nas) Eze 5:15 καὶ ἔσῃ στενακτὴ καὶ δηλαϊστὴ ἐν τοῖς ἔθνεσιν τοῖς κύκλῳ σου ἐν τῷ ποιῆσαί με ἐν σοὶ κρίματα ἐν ἐκδικήσει θυμοῦ μου ἐγὼ κύριος λελάληκα (lxx) Eze 5:15 et eris opprobrium et blasphemia, exemplum et stupor in gentibus quæ in circuitu tuo sunt, cum fecero in te judicia in furore, et in indignatione, et in increpationibus iræ.(vulgate) Ezekiel 5:15 So thou shalt bee a reproche and shame, a chastisement and an astonishment vnto the nations, that are rounde about thee, when I shall execute iudgements in thee, in anger and in wrath, and in sharpe rebukes: I the Lorde haue spoken it.(Geneva) Eze 5:15 Und sollst eine Schmach, Hohn, Beispiel und Wunder sein allen Heiden, die um dich her sind, wenn ich über dich das Recht gehen lasse mit Zorn, Grimm und zornigem Schelten (das sage ich, der HERR)(dhs) Eze 5:15 So it shall be a reproach, a taunt, a lesson, and an astonishment to the nations that are all around you, when I execute judgments among you in anger and in fury and in furious rebukes. I, the Lord, have spoken.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 5:16 ============ Eze 5:16 When I send against them the deadly arrows of famine which were for the destruction of those whom I will send to destroy you, then I will also intensify the famine upon you and break the staff of bread. (nas) Eze 5:16 ἐν τῷ ἐξαποστεῖλαί με τὰς βολίδας μου τοῦ λιμοῦ ἐπ᾽ αὐτοὺς καὶ ἔσονται εἰς ἔκλειψιν καὶ συντρίψω στήριγμα ἄρτου σου (lxx) Eze 5:16 Ego Dominus locutus sum: quando misero sagittas famis pessimas in eos, quæ erunt mortiferæ, et quas mittam ut disperdam vos: et famem congregabo super vos, et conteram in vobis baculum panis:(vulgate) Ezekiel 5:16 When I shall sende vpon them the euill arrowes of famine, which shalbe for their destruction, and which I will sende to destroy you: and I will encrease the famine vpon you, and wil breake your staffe of bread.(Geneva) Eze 5:16 und wenn ich böse Pfeile des Hungers unter sie schießen werde, die da schädlich sein sollen, und ich sie ausschießen werde, euch zu verderben, und den Hunger über euch immer größer werden lasse und den Vorrat des Brots wegnehme.(dhs) Eze 5:16 When I send against them the terrible arrows of famine which shall be for destruction, which I will send to destroy you, I will increase the famine upon you and cut off your supply of bread.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 5:17 ============ Eze 5:17 Moreover, I will send on you famine and wild beasts, and they will bereave you of children; plague and bloodshed also will pass through you, and I will bring the sword on you. (nas) Eze 5:17 καὶ ἐξαποστελῶ ἐπὶ σὲ λιμὸν καὶ θηρία πονηρὰ καὶ τιμωρήσομαί σε καὶ θάνατος καὶ αἷμα διελεύσονται ἐπὶ σέ καὶ ῥομφαίαν ἐπάξω ἐπὶ σὲ κυκλόθεν ἐγὼ κύριος λελάληκα (lxx) Eze 5:17 et immittam in vos famem et bestias pessimas, usque ad internecionem: et pestilentia et sanguis transibunt per te, et gladium inducam super te. Ego Dominus locutus sum.(vulgate) Ezekiel 5:17 So will I send vpon you famine, and euill beastes, and they shall spoyle thee, and pestilence and blood shall passe through thee, and I will bring the sworde vpon thee: I the Lorde haue spoken it.(Geneva) Eze 5:17 Ja, Hunger und böse, wilde Tiere will ich unter euch schicken, die sollen euch kinderlos machen; und soll Pestilenz und Blut unter dir umgehen, und ich will das Schwert über dich bringen.
