J'ai agi avec un coeur pur et avec des mains innocentes.(FR) 5 ׃20 הֲלֹ֨א ה֤וּא אָֽמַר־לִי֙ אֲחֹ֣תִי הִ֔וא וְהִֽיא־גַם־הִ֥וא אֽ͏ָמְרָ֖ה אָחִ֣י ה֑וּא בְּתָם־לְבָבִ֛י וּבְנִקְיֹ֥ן כַּפַּ֖י עָשִׂ֥יתִי זֹֽאת׃ Genesis Gen 20:5 Did he not himself say to me, 'She is my sister'? And she herself said, 'He is my brother.' In the integrity of my heart and the innocence of my hands I have done this."(nasb) ======= Genesis 20:6 ============ Gen 20:6 And God said unto him in a dream, Yea, I know that thou didst this in the integrity of thy heart; for I also withheld thee from sinning against me: therefore suffered I thee not to touch her.(KJV) Genesis 20:6 And God saide vnto him by a dreame, I knowe that thou diddest this euen with an vpright minde, and I kept thee also that thou shouldest not sinne against me: therefore suffered I thee not to touche her.(Geneva) Genèse 20:6 Dieu lui dit en songe: Je sais que tu as agi avec un coeur pur; aussi t'ai-je empêché de pécher contre moi. C'est pourquoi je n'ai pas permis que tu la touchasses.(FR) 6 ׃20 וַיֹּאמֶר֩ אֵלָ֨יו הֽ͏ָאֱלֹהִ֜ים בַּחֲלֹ֗ם גַּ֣ם אָנֹכִ֤י יָדַ֙עְתִּי֙ כִּ֤י בְתָם־לְבָבְךָ֙ עָשִׂ֣יתָ זֹּ֔את וָאֶחְשֹׂ֧ךְ גַּם־אָנֹכִ֛י אֽוֹתְךָ֖ מֵחֲטוֹ־לִ֑י עַל־כֵּ֥ן לֹא־נְתַתִּ֖יךָ לִנְגֹּ֥עַ אֵלֶֽיהָ׃ Genesis Gen 20:6 Then God said to him in the dream, "Yes, I know that in the integrity of your heart you have done this, and I also kept you from sinning against Me; therefore I did not let you touch her.(nasb) ======= Genesis 20:7 ============ Gen 20:7 Now therefore restore the man his wife; for he is a prophet, and he shall pray for thee, and thou shalt live: and if thou restore her not, know thou that thou shalt surely die, thou, and all that are thine.(KJV) Genesis 20:7 Now then deliuer the man his wife againe: for he is a Prophet, and he shall pray for thee that thou mayest liue: but if thou deliuer her not againe, be sure that thou shalt die the death, thou, and all that thou hast.(Geneva) Genèse 20:7 Maintenant, rends la femme de cet homme; car il est prophète, il priera pour toi, et tu vivras. Et en quoi t'ai-je offensé, que tu aies fait venir sur moi et sur mon royaume un si grand péché? Tu as commis à mon égard des actes qui ne doivent pas se commettre.(FR) 9 ׃20 וַיִּקְרָ֨א אֲבִימֶ֜לֶךְ לְאַבְרָהָ֗ם וַיֹּ֨אמֶר ל֜וֹ מֶֽה־עָשִׂ֤יתָ לָּ֙נוּ֙ וּמֶֽה־חָטָ֣אתִי לָ֔ךְ כִּֽי־הֵבֵ֧אתָ עָלַ֛י וְעַל־מַמְלַכְתִּ֖י חֲטָאָ֣ה גְדֹלָ֑ה מַעֲשִׂים֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר לֹא־יֵֽעָשׂ֔וּ עָשִׂ֖יתָ עִמָּדִֽי׃ Genesis Gen 20:9 Then Abimelech called Abraham and said to him, "What have you done to us? And how have I sinned against you, that you have brought on me and on my kingdom a great sin? You have done to me things that ought not to be done."(nasb) ======= Genesis 20:10 ============ Gen 20:10 And Abimelech said unto Abraham, What sawest thou, that thou hast done this thing?(KJV) Genesis 20:10 So Abimelech said vnto Abraham, What sawest thou that thou hast done this thing?(Geneva) Genèse 20:10 Et Abimélec dit à Abraham: Quelle intention avais-tu pour agir de la sorte?(FR) 10 ׃20 וַיֹּ֥אמֶר אֲבִימֶ֖לֶךְ אֶל־אַבְרָהָ֑ם מָ֣ה רָאִ֔יתָ כִּ֥י עָשִׂ֖יתָ אֶת־הַדָּבָ֥ר הַזֶּֽה׃ Genesis Gen 20:10 And Abimelech said to Abraham, "What have you encountered, that you have done this thing?"(nasb) ======= Genesis 20:11 ============ Gen 20:11 And Abraham said, Because I thought, Surely the fear of God is not in this place; and they will slay me for my wife's sake.(KJV) Genesis 20:11 Then Abraha answered, Because I thought thus, Surely the feare of God is not in this place, and they will slay me for my wiues sake.(Geneva) Genèse 20:11 Abraham répondit: Je me disais qu'il n'y avait sans doute aucune crainte de Dieu dans ce pays, et que l'on me tuerait à cause de ma femme.(FR) 11 ׃20 וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ אַבְרָהָ֔ם כִּ֣י אָמַ֗רְתִּי רַ֚ק אֵין־יִרְאַ֣ת אֱלֹהִ֔ים בַּמָּק֖וֹם הַזֶּ֑ה וַהֲרָג֖וּנִי עַל־דְּבַ֥ר אִשְׁתִּֽי׃ Genesis Gen 20:11 Abraham said, "Because I thought, surely there is no fear of God in this place, and they will kill me because of my wife.(nasb) ======= Genesis 20:12 ============ Gen 20:12 And yet indeed she is my sister; she is the daughter of my father, but not the daughter of my mother; and she became my wife.(KJV) Genesis 20:12 Yet in very deede she is my sister: for she is the daughter of my father, but not the daughter of my mother, and she is my wife.(Geneva) Genèse 20:12 De plus, il est vrai qu'elle est ma soeur, fille de mon père;
