So the two of them walked on together.(nasb) ======= Genesis 22:7 ============ Gen 22:7 And Isaac spake unto Abraham his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am I, my son. And he said, Behold the fire and the wood: but where is the lamb for a burnt offering?(KJV) Genesis 22:7 Then spake Izhak vnto Abraham his father, and said, My father; he answered, Here am I, my sonne; he said, Behold the fire & the wood, but where is the lambe for ye burnt offring?(Geneva) Genèse 22:7 Alors Isaac, parlant à Abraham, son père, dit: Mon père! Et il répondit: Me voici, mon fils! Isaac reprit: Voici le feu et le bois; mais où est l'agneau pour l'holocauste?(FR) 7 ׃22 וַיֹּ֨אמֶר יִצְחָ֜ק אֶל־אַבְרָהָ֤ם אָבִיו֙ וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אָבִ֔י וַיֹּ֖אמֶר הִנֶּ֣נִּֽי בְנִ֑י וַיֹּ֗אמֶר הִנֵּ֤ה הָאֵשׁ֙ וְהָ֣עֵצִ֔ים וְאַיֵּ֥ה הַשֶּׂ֖ה לְעֹלָֽה׃ Genesis Gen 22:7 Isaac spoke to Abraham his father and said, "My father!" And he said, "Here I am, my son." And he said, "Behold, the fire and the wood, but where is the lamb for the burnt offering?"(nasb) ======= Genesis 22:8 ============ Gen 22:8 And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together.(KJV) Genesis 22:8 Then Abraham answered, My sonne, God will prouide him a lambe for a burnt offering: so they went both together.(Geneva) Genèse 22:8 Abraham répondit: Mon fils, Dieu se pourvoira lui-même de l'agneau pour l'holocauste. So the two of them walked on together.(nasb) ======= Genesis 22:9 ============ Gen 22:9 And they came to the place which God had told him of; and Abraham built an altar there, and laid the wood in order, and bound Isaac his son, and laid him on the altar upon the wood.(KJV) Genesis 22:9 And when they came to the place which God had shewed him, Abraham builded an altar there, & couched ye wood, and bound Izhak his sonne and laid him on the altar vpon the wood.(Geneva) Genèse 22:9 Lorsqu'ils furent arrivés au lieu que Dieu lui avait dit, Abraham y éleva un autel, et rangea le bois. Abraham! Et il répondit: Me voici!(FR) 11 ׃22 וַיִּקְרָ֨א אֵלָ֜יו מַלְאַ֤ךְ יְהוָה֙ מִן־הַשָּׁמַ֔יִם וַיֹּ֖אמֶר אַבְרָהָ֣ם ׀ אַבְרָהָ֑ם וַיֹּ֖אמֶר הִנֵּֽנִי׃ Genesis Gen 22:11 But the angel of the Lord called to him from heaven and said, "Abraham, Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."(nasb) ======= Genesis 22:12 ============ Gen 22:12 And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son from me.(KJV) Genesis 22:12 Then he said, Lay not thine hand vpon the childe, neither doe any thing vnto him: for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing for my sake thou hast not spared thine onely sonne.(Geneva) Genèse 22:12 L'ange dit: N'avance pas ta main sur l'enfant, et ne lui fais rien; car je sais maintenant que tu crains Dieu, et que tu ne m'as pas refusé ton fils, ton unique.(FR) 12 ׃22 וַיֹּ֗אמֶר אַל־תִּשְׁלַ֤ח יָֽדְךָ֙ אֶל־הַנַּ֔עַר וְאַל־תַּ֥עַשׂ ל֖וֹ מְא֑וּמָּה כִּ֣י ׀ עַתָּ֣ה יָדַ֗עְתִּי כִּֽי־יְרֵ֤א אֱלֹהִים֙ אַ֔תָּה וְלֹ֥א חָשַׂ֛כְתָּ אֶת־בִּנְךָ֥ אֶת־יְחִידְךָ֖ מִמֶּֽנִּי׃ Genesis Gen 22:12 He said, "Do not stretch out your hand against the lad, and do nothing to him; for now I know that you fear God, since you have not withheld your son, your only son, from Me."(nasb) ======= Genesis 22:13 ============ Gen 22:13 And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind him a ram caught in a thicket by his horns: and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering in the stead of his son.(KJV) Genesis 22:13 And Abraham lifting vp his eyes, looked: and behold, there was a ramme behind him caught by the hornes in a bush. then Abraham went and tooke the ramme, and offered him vp for a burnt offering in the steade of his sonne.(Geneva) Genèse 22:13 Abraham leva les yeux, et vit derrière lui un bélier retenu dans un buisson par les cornes; et Abraham alla prendre le bélier, et l'offrit en holocauste à la place de son fils.(FR) 13 ׃22 וַיִּשָּׂ֨א אַבְרָהָ֜ם אֶת־עֵינָ֗יו וַיַּרְא֙ וְהִנֵּה־אַ֔יִל אַחַ֕ר נֶאֱחַ֥ז בַּסְּבַ֖ךְ בְּקַרְנָ֑יו וַיֵּ֤לֶךְ אַבְרָהָם֙ וַיִּקַּ֣ח אֶת־הָאַ֔יִל וַיַּעֲלֵ֥הוּ לְעֹלָ֖ה תַּ֥חַת בְּנֽוֹ׃ Genesis Gen 22:13 Then Abraham raised his eyes and looked, and behold, behind him a ram caught in the thicket by his horns; and Abraham went and took the ram and offered him up for a burnt offering in the place of his son.(nasb) ======= Genesis 22:14 ============ Gen 22:14 And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovahjireh: as it is said to this day, In the mount of the LORD it shall be seen.(KJV) Genesis 22:14 And Abraham called the name of that place, Iehouah-ijreh. as it is said this day, In the mount will the Lord be seene.(Geneva) Genèse 22:14 Abraham donna à ce lieu le nom de Jehova-Jiré. C'est pourquoi l'on dit aujourd'hui: A la montagne de l'Eternel il sera pourvu.(FR) 14 ׃22 וַיִּקְרָ֧א אַבְרָהָ֛ם שֵֽׁם־הַמָּק֥וֹם הַה֖וּא יְהוָ֣ה ׀ יִרְאֶ֑ה אֲשֶׁר֙ יֵאָמֵ֣ר הַיּ֔וֹם בְּהַ֥ר יְהוָ֖ה יֵרָאֶֽה׃ Genesis Gen 22:14 Abraham called the name of that place The Lord Will Provide, as it is said to this day, "In the mount of the Lord it will be provided."(nasb) ======= Genesis 22:15 ============ Gen 22:15 And the angel of the LORD called unto Abraham out of heaven the second time,(KJV) Genesis 22:15 And the Angel of the Lorde cryed vnto Abraham from heauen the second time,(Geneva) Genèse 22:15 L'ange de l'Eternel appela une seconde fois Abraham des cieux,(FR) 15 ׃22 וַיִּקְרָ֛א מַלְאַ֥ךְ יְהוָ֖ה אֶל־אַבְרָהָ֑ם שֵׁנִ֖ית מִן־הַשָּׁמָֽיִם׃ Genesis Gen 22:15 Then the angel of the Lord called to Abraham a second time from heaven,(nasb) ======= Genesis 22:16 ============ Gen 22:16 And said, By myself have I sworn, saith the LORD, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son:(KJV) Genesis 22:16 And saide, By my selfe haue I sworne (saith ye Lord) because thou hast done this thing, and hast not spared thine onely sonne,(Geneva) Genèse 22:16 et dit: Je le jure par moi-même, parole de l'Eternel! parce que tu as fait cela, et que tu n'as pas refusé ton fils, ton unique,(FR) 16 ׃22 וַיֹּ֕אמֶר בִּ֥י נִשְׁבַּ֖עְתִּי נְאֻם־יְהוָ֑ה כִּ֗י יַ֚עַן אֲשֶׁ֤ר עָשִׂ֙יתָ֙ אֶת־הַדָּבָ֣ר הַזֶּ֔ה וְלֹ֥א חָשַׂ֖כְתָּ אֶת־בִּנְךָ֥ אֶת־יְחִידֶֽךָ׃ Genesis Gen 22:16 and said, "By Myself I have sworn, declares the Lord, because you have done this thing and have not withheld your son, your only son,(nasb) ======= Genesis 22:17 ============ Gen 22:17 That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;(KJV) Genesis 22:17 Therefore will I surely blesse thee, and will greatly multiplie thy seede, as the starres of the heauen, and as the sand which is vpon the sea shore, and thy seede shall possesse the gate of his enemies.(Geneva) Genèse 22:17 je te bénirai et je multiplierai ta postérité, comme les étoiles du ciel et comme le sable qui est sur le bord de la mer; et ta postérité possédera la porte de ses ennemis.(FR) 17 ׃22 כִּֽי־בָרֵ֣ךְ אֲבָרֶכְךָ֗ וְהַרְבָּ֨ה אַרְבֶּ֤ה אֶֽת־זַרְעֲךָ֙ כְּכוֹכְבֵ֣י הַשָּׁמַ֔יִם וְכַח֕וֹל אֲשֶׁ֖ר עַל־שְׂפַ֣ת הַיָּ֑ם וְיִרַ֣שׁ זַרְעֲךָ֔ אֵ֖ת שַׁ֥עַר אֹיְבָֽיו׃ Genesis Gen 22:17 indeed I will greatly bless you, and I will greatly multiply your seed as the stars of the heavens and as the sand which is on the seashore; and your seed shall possess the gate of their enemies.(nasb) ======= Genesis 22:18 ============ Gen 22:18 And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.(KJV) Genesis 22:18 And in thy seede shall all the nations of the earth be blessed, because thou hast obeyed my voyce.(Geneva) Genèse 22:18 Toutes les nations de la terre seront bénies en ta postérité, parce que tu as obéi à ma voix.(FR) 18 ׃22 וְהִתְבָּרֲכ֣וּ בְזַרְעֲךָ֔ כֹּ֖ל גּוֹיֵ֣י הָאָ֑רֶץ עֵ֕קֶב אֲשֶׁ֥ר שָׁמַ֖עְתָּ בְּקֹלִֽי׃ Genesis Gen 22:18 In your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice."(nasb) ======= Genesis 22:19 ============ Gen 22:19 So Abraham returned unto his young men, and they rose up and went together to Beersheba; and Abraham dwelt at Beersheba.(KJV) Genesis 22:19 Then turned Abraham againe vnto his seruants, and they rose vp & went together to Beer-sheba: and Abraham dwelt at Beer-sheba.(Geneva) Genèse 22:19 Abraham étant retourné vers ses serviteurs, ils se levèrent et s'en allèrent ensemble à Beer-Schéba; car Abraham demeurait à Beer-Schéba.(FR) 19 ׃22 וַיָּ֤שָׁב אַבְרָהָם֙ אֶל־נְעָרָ֔יו וַיָּקֻ֛מוּ וַיֵּלְכ֥וּ יַחְדָּ֖ו אֶל־בְּאֵ֣ר שָׁ֑בַע וַיֵּ֥שֶׁב אַבְרָהָ֖ם בִּבְאֵ֥ר שָֽׁבַע׃ פ Genesis Gen 22:19 So Abraham returned to his young men, and they arose and went together to Beersheba; and Abraham lived at Beersheba.(nasb) ======= Genesis 22:20 ============ Gen 22:20 And it came to pass after these things, that it was told Abraham, saying, Behold, Milcah, she hath also born children unto thy brother Nahor;(KJV) Genesis 22:20 And after these things one tolde Abraham, saying, Beholde Milcah, she hath also borne children vnto thy brother Nahor:(Geneva) Genèse 22:20 Après ces choses, on fit à Abraham un rapport, en disant: Voici, Milca a aussi enfanté des fils à Nachor, ton frère:(FR) 20 ׃22 וַיְהִ֗י אַחֲרֵי֙ הַדְּבָרִ֣ים הָאֵ֔לֶּה וַיֻּגַּ֥ד לְאַבְרָהָ֖ם לֵאמֹ֑ר הִ֠נֵּה יָלְדָ֨ה מִלְכָּ֥ה גַם־הִ֛וא בָּנִ֖ים לְנָח֥וֹר אָחִֽיךָ׃ Genesis Gen 22:20 Now it came about after these things, that it was told Abraham, saying, "Behold, Milcah also has borne children to your brother Nahor:(nasb) ======= Genesis 22:21 ============ Gen 22:21 Huz his firstborn, and Buz his brother, and Kemuel the father of Aram,(KJV) Genesis 22:21 To wit, Vz his eldest sonne, and Buz his brother, and Kemuel the father of Aram,(Geneva) Genèse 22:21 Uts, son premier-né, Buz, son frère, Kemuel, père d'Aram,(FR) 21 ׃22 אֶת־ע֥וּץ בְּכֹר֖וֹ וְאֶת־בּ֣וּז אָחִ֑יו וְאֶת־קְמוּאֵ֖ל אֲבִ֥י אֲרָֽם׃ Genesis Gen 22:21 Uz his firstborn and Buz his brother and Kemuel the father of Aram(nasb) ======= Genesis 22:22 ============ Gen 22:22 And Chesed, and Hazo, and Pildash, and Jidlaph, and Bethuel.(KJV) Genesis 22:22 And Chesed and Hazo, and Pildash, and Iidlaph, and Bethuel.(Geneva) Genèse 22:22 Késed, Hazo, Pildasch, Jidlaph et Bethuel.(FR) 22 ׃22 וְאֶת־כֶּ֣שֶׂד וְאֶת־חֲז֔וֹ וְאֶת־פִּלְדָּ֖שׁ וְאֶת־יִדְלָ֑ף וְאֵ֖ת בְּתוּאֵֽל׃ Genesis Gen 22:22 and Chesed and Hazo and Pildash and Jidlaph and Bethuel."(nasb) ======= Genesis 22:23 ============ Gen 22:23 And Bethuel begat Rebekah: these eight Milcah did bear to Nahor, Abraham's brother.(KJV) Genesis 22:23 And Bethuel begate Rebekah: these eight did Milcah beare to Nahor Abrahams brother.(Geneva) Genèse 22:23 Bethuel a engendré Rebecca.
