(nasb) ======= Job 23:1 ============ Job 23:1 Then Job answered and said,(KJV) Job 23:1 Bvt Iob answered and sayd,(Geneva) Job 23:1 Job prit la parole et dit:(FR) 1 ׃23 וַיַּ֥עַן אִיּ֗וֹב וַיֹּאמַֽר׃ Job Job 23:1 Then Job replied, (nasb) ======= Job 23:2 ============ Job 23:2 Even to day is my complaint bitter: my stroke is heavier than my groaning.(KJV) Job 23:2 Though my talke be this day in bitternes, and my plague greater then my groning,(Geneva) Job 23:2 Maintenant encore ma plainte est une révolte, Mais la souffrance étouffe mes soupirs.(FR) 2 ׃23 גַּם־הַ֭יּוֹם מְרִ֣י שִׂחִ֑י יָ֝דִ֗י כָּבְדָ֥ה עַל־אַנְחָתִֽ[t]י׃ Job Job 23:2 "Even today my complaint is rebellion; His hand is heavy despite my groaning.(nasb) ======= Job 23:3 ============ Job 23:3 Oh that I knew where I might find him! that I might come even to his seat!(KJV) Job 23:3 Would God yet I knew how to finde him, I would enter vnto his place.(Geneva) Job 23:3 Oh! si je savais où le trouver, Si je pouvais arriver jusqu'à son trône,(FR) 3 ׃23 מִֽי־יִתֵּ֣ן יָ֭דַעְתִּי וְאֶמְצָאֵ֑הוּ אָ֝ב֗וֹא עַד־תְּכוּנָתֽ[t]וֹ׃ Job Job 23:3 "Oh that I knew where I might find Him, That I might come to His seat!(nasb) ======= Job 23:4 ============ Job 23:4 I would order my cause before him, and fill my mouth with arguments.(KJV) Job 23:4 I would pleade the cause before him, & fill my mouth with arguments.(Geneva) Job 23:4 Je plaiderais ma cause devant lui, Je remplirais ma bouche d'arguments,(FR) 4 ׃23 אֶעֶרְכָ֣ה לְפָנָ֣יו מִשְׁפָּ֑ט וּ֝פִ֗י אֲמַלֵּ֥א תוֹכָחֽ[t]וֹת׃ Job Job 23:4 "I would present my case before Him And fill my mouth with arguments.(nasb) ======= Job 23:5 ============ Job 23:5 I would know the words which he would answer me, and understand what he would say unto me.(KJV) Job 23:5 I would knowe the wordes, that he would answere me, & would vnderstand what he would say vnto me.(Geneva) Job 23:5 Je connaîtrais ce qu'il peut avoir à répondre, Je verrais ce qu'il peut avoir à me dire.(FR) 5 ׃23 אֵ֭דְעָה מִלִּ֣ים יַעֲנֵ֑נִי וְ֝אָבִ֗ינָה מַה־יֹּ֥אמַר לִֽי׃ Job Job 23:5 "I would learn the words which He would answer, And perceive what He would say to me.(nasb) ======= Job 23:6 ============ Job 23:6 Will he plead against me with his great power? Ne daignerait-il pas au moins m'écouter?(FR) 6 ׃23 הַבְּרָב־כֹּ֭חַ יָרִ֣יב עִמָּדִ֑י לֹ֥א אַךְ־ה֝֗וּא יָשִׂ֥ם בִּֽי׃ Job Job 23:6 "Would He contend with me by the greatness of His power? No, surely He would pay attention to me.(nasb) ======= Job 23:7 ============ Job 23:7 There the righteous might dispute with him; so should I be delivered for ever from my judge.(KJV) Job 23:7 There the righteous might reason with him, so I shoulde be deliuered for euer from my Iudge.(Geneva) Job 23:7 Ce serait un homme droit qui plaiderait avec lui, Et je serais pour toujours absous par mon juge.(FR) 7 ׃23 שָׁ֗ם יָ֭שָׁר נוֹכָ֣ח עִמּ֑וֹ וַאֲפַלְּטָ֥ה לָ֝נֶ֗צַח מִשֹּׁפְטִֽי׃ Job Job 23:7 "There the upright would reason with Him; And I would be delivered forever from my Judge.(nasb) ======= Job 23:8 ============ Job 23:8 Behold, I go forward, but he is not there; and backward, but I cannot perceive him:(KJV) Job 23:8 Behold, if I go to the East, he is not there: if to the West, yet I can not perceiue him:(Geneva) Job 23:8 Mais, si je vais à l'orient, il n'y est pas; Si je vais à l'occident, je ne le trouve pas;(FR) 8 ׃23 הֵ֤ן קֶ֣דֶם אֶהֱלֹ֣ךְ וְאֵינֶ֑נּוּ וְ֝אָח֗וֹר וְֽלֹא־אָבִ֥ין לֽוֹ׃ Job Job 23:8 "Behold, I go forward but He is not there, And backward, but I cannot perceive Him; (nasb) ======= Job 23:9 ============ Job 23:9 On the left hand, where he doth work, but I cannot behold him: he hideth himself on the right hand, that I cannot see him:(KJV) Job 23:9 If to the North where he worketh, yet I cannot see him: he wil hide himselfe in the South, and I cannot beholde him.(Geneva) Job 23:9 Est-il occupé au nord, je ne puis le voir; Se cache-t-il au midi, je ne puis le découvrir.(FR) 9 ׃23 שְׂמֹ֣אול בַּעֲשֹׂת֣וֹ וְלֹא־אָ֑חַז יַעְטֹ֥ף יָ֝מִ֗ין וְלֹ֣א אֶרְאֶֽה׃ Job Job 23:9 When He acts on the left, I cannot behold Him; He turns on the right, I cannot see Him.(nasb) ======= Job 23:10 ============ Job 23:10 But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.(KJV) Job 23:10 But he knoweth my way, & trieth mee, and I shal come forth like the gold.(Geneva) Job 23:10 Il sait néanmoins quelle voie j'ai suivie; Et, s'il m'éprouvait, je sortirais pur comme l'or.(FR) 10 ׃23 כִּֽי־יָ֭דַע דֶּ֣רֶךְ עִמָּדִ֑י בְּ֝חָנַ֗נִי כַּזָּהָ֥ב אֵצֵֽא׃ Job Job 23:10 "But He knows the way I take; When He has tried me, I shall come forth as gold.(nasb) ======= Job 23:11 ============ Job 23:11 My foot hath held his steps, his way have I kept, and not declined.(KJV) Job 23:11 My foote hath followed his steps: his way haue I kept, and haue not declined.(Geneva) Job 23:11 Mon pied s'est attaché à ses pas; J'ai gardé sa voie, et je ne m'en suis point détourné.(FR) 11 ׃23 בַּ֭אֲשֻׁרוֹ אָחֲזָ֣ה רַגְלִ֑י דַּרְכּ֖וֹ שָׁמַ֣רְתִּי וְלֹא־אָֽט׃ Job Job 23:11 "My foot has held fast to His path; I have kept His way and not turned aside.(nasb) ======= Job 23:12 ============ Job 23:12 Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips; I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food.(KJV) Job 23:12 Neyther haue I departed from the commandement of his lippes, and I haue esteemed the words of his mouth more then mine appointed foode.(Geneva) Job 23:12 Je n'ai pas abandonné les commandements de ses lèvres; J'ai fait plier ma volonté aux paroles de sa bouche.(FR) 12 ׃23 מִצְוַ֣ת שְׂ֭פָתָיו וְלֹ֣א אָמִ֑ישׁ מֵ֝חֻקִּ֗י צָפַ֥נְתִּי אִמְרֵי־פִֽיו׃ Job Job 23:12 "I have not departed from the command of His lips; I have treasured the words of His mouth more than my necessary food.(nasb) ======= Job 23:13 ============ Job 23:13 But he is in one mind, and who can turn him? and what his soul desireth, even that he doeth.(KJV) Job 23:13 Yet he is in one minde, & who can turne him? yea, he doeth what his minde desireth.(Geneva) Job 23:13 Mais sa résolution est arrêtée; qui s'y opposera? Ce que son âme désire, il l'exécute.(FR) 13 ׃23 וְה֣וּא בְ֭אֶחָד וּמִ֣י יְשִׁיבֶ֑נּוּ וְנַפְשׁ֖וֹ אִוְּתָ֣ה וַיָּֽעַשׂ׃ Job Job 23:13 "But He is unique and who can turn Him? And what His soul desires, that He does.(nasb) ======= Job 23:14 ============ Job 23:14 For he performeth the thing that is appointed for me: and many such things are with him.(KJV) Job 23:14 For he will performe that, which is decreed of me, and many such things are with him.(Geneva) Job 23:14 Il accomplira donc ses desseins à mon égard, Et il en concevra bien d'autres encore.(FR) 14 ׃23 כִּ֭י יַשְׁלִ֣ים חֻקִּ֑י וְכָהֵ֖נָּה רַבּ֣וֹת עִמּֽוֹ׃ Job Job 23:14 "For He performs what is appointed for me, And many such decrees are with Him.(nasb) ======= Job 23:15 ============ Job 23:15 Therefore am I troubled at his presence: when I consider, I am afraid of him.(KJV) Job 23:15 Therefore I am troubled at his presence, & in considering it, I am afraid of him.(Geneva) Job 23:15 Voilà pourquoi sa présence m'épouvante; Quand j'y pense, j'ai peur de lui.(FR) 15 ׃23 עַל־כֵּ֭ן מִפָּנָ֣יו אֶבָּהֵ֑ל אֶ֝תְבּוֹנֵ֗ן וְאֶפְחַ֥ד מִמֶּֽנּוּ׃ Job Job 23:15 "Therefore, I would be dismayed at His presence; When I consider, I am terrified of Him.(nasb) ======= Job 23:16 ============ Job 23:16 For God maketh my heart soft, and the Almighty troubleth me:(KJV) Job 23:16 For God hath softened mine heart, & the Almightie hath troubled me.(Geneva) Job 23:16 Dieu a brisé mon courage, Le Tout-Puissant m'a rempli d'effroi.(FR) 16 ׃23 וְ֭אֵל הֵרַ֣ךְ לִבִּ֑י וְ֝שַׁדַּ֗י הִבְהִילָֽנִי׃ Job Job 23:16 "It is God who has made my heart faint, And the Almighty who has dismayed me, (nasb) ======= Job 23:17 ============ Job 23:17 Because I was not cut off before the darkness, neither hath he covered the darkness from my face.(kjv) Job 23:17 For I am not cut off in darknesse, but he hath hid the darkenesse from my face.(Geneva) Job 23:17 Car ce ne sont pas les ténèbres qui m'anéantissent, Ce n'est pas l'obscurité dont je suis couvert.(FR) 17 ׃23 כִּֽי־לֹ֣א נִ֭צְמַתִּי מִפְּנֵי־חֹ֑שֶׁךְ וּ֝מִפָּנַ֗י כִּסָּה־אֹֽפֶל׃ Job Job 23:17 But I am not silenced by the darkness, Nor deep gloom which covers me. (nasb) ======= Job 24:1 ============ Job 24:1 Why, seeing times are not hidden from the Almighty, do they that know him not see his days?(KJV) Job 24:1 Howe should not the times be hid from the Almightie, seeing that they which knowe him, see not his dayes?(Geneva) Job 24:1 Pourquoi le Tout-Puissant ne met-il pas des temps en réserve, Et pourquoi ceux qui le connaissent ne voient-ils pas ses jours?(FR) |
