(nasb) ======= Isaiah 16:4 ============ Isa 16:4 Let mine outcasts dwell with thee, Moab; be thou a covert to them from the face of the spoiler: for the extortioner is at an end, the spoiler ceaseth, the oppressors are consumed out of the land.(KJV) Isaiah 16:4 Let my banished dwell with thee: Moab be thou their couert from the face of the destroyer: for the extortioner shall ende: the destroyer shalbe consumed, and the oppressour shall cease out of the land.(Geneva) Ésaïe 16:4 Laisse séjourner chez toi les exilés de Moab, Sois pour eux un refuge contre le dévastateur! For the extortioner has come to an end, destruction has ceased, Oppressors have completely disappeared from the land. (nasb) ======= Isaiah 16:6 ============ Isa 16:6 We have heard of the pride of Moab; he is very proud: even of his haughtiness, and his pride, and his wrath: but his lies shall not be so.(KJV) Isaiah 16:6 We haue heard of the pride of Moab, (he is very proud) euen his pride, and his arrogancie, and his indignation, but his lies shall not be so.(Geneva) Ésaïe 16:6 Nous entendons l'orgueil du superbe Moab, Sa fierté et sa hauteur, son arrogance et ses vains discours.(FR) 6 ׃16 שָׁמַ֥עְנוּ גְאוֹן־מוֹאָ֖ב גֵּ֣א מְאֹ֑ד גַּאֲוָת֧וֹ וּגְאוֹנ֛וֹ וְעֶבְרָת֖וֹ לֹא־כֵ֥ן בַּדָּֽיו׃ ס Isaiah Isa 16:6 We have heard of the pride of Moab, an excessive pride; Even of his arrogance, pride, and fury; His idle boasts are false. (nasb) ======= Isaiah 16:9 ============ Isa 16:9 Therefore I will bewail with the weeping of Jazer the vine of Sibmah: I will water thee with my tears, O Heshbon, and Elealeh: for the shouting for thy summer fruits and for thy harvest is fallen.(KJV) Isaiah 16:9 Therefore will I weepe with the weeping of Iaazer, & of the vine of Sibmah, O Heshbon: and Elealeh, I will make thee drunke with my teares, because vpon thy sommer fruits, and vpon thy haruest a showting is fallen.(Geneva) Ésaïe 16:9 Aussi je pleure sur la vigne de Sibma, comme sur Jaezer; Je vous arrose de mes larmes, Hesbon, Elealé! (nasb) ======= Isaiah 16:10 ============ Isa 16:10 And gladness is taken away, and joy out of the plentiful field; and in the vineyards there shall be no singing, neither shall there be shouting: the treaders shall tread out no wine in their presses; I have made their vintage shouting to cease.(KJV) Isaiah 16:10 And gladnes is taken away, and ioy out of the plentifull fielde: and in the vineyardes shall be no singing nor shouting for ioy: the treader shall not tread wine in the wine presses: I haue caused the reioycing to cease.(Geneva) Ésaïe 16:10 La joie et l'allégresse ont disparu des campagnes; Dans les vignes, plus de chants, plus de réjouissances! (nasb) ======= Isaiah 16:11 ============ Isa 16:11 Wherefore my bowels shall sound like an harp for Moab, and mine inward parts for Kirharesh.(KJV) Isaiah 16:11 Wherefore, my bowels shall sounde like an harpe for Moab, and mine inwarde partes for Ker-haresh.(Geneva) Ésaïe 16:11 Aussi mes entrailles frémissent sur Moab, comme une harpe, Et mon coeur sur Kir-Harès.(FR) 11 ׃16 עַל־כֵּן֙ מֵעַ֣י לְמוֹאָ֔ב כַּכִּנּ֖וֹר יֶֽהֱמ֑וּ וְקִרְבִּ֖י לְקִ֥יר חָֽרֶשׂ׃ Isaiah Isa 16:11 Therefore my heart intones like a harp for Moab And my inward feelings for Kir-hareseth.
