(nasb) ======= Isaiah 17:10 ============ Isa 17:10 Because thou hast forgotten the God of thy salvation, and hast not been mindful of the rock of thy strength, therefore shalt thou plant pleasant plants, and shalt set it with strange slips:(KJV) Isaiah 17:10 Because thou hast forgotten the God of thy saluation, and hast not remembred the God of thy strength, therefore shalt thou set pleasant plantes, and shalt graffe strange vine branches:(Geneva) Ésaïe 17:10 Car tu as oublié le Dieu de ton salut, Tu ne t'es pas souvenu du rocher de ton refuge. Aussi tu as fait des plantations d'agrément, Tu as planté des ceps étrangers;(FR) 10 ׃17 כִּ֤י שָׁכַ֙חַתְּ֙ אֱלֹהֵ֣י יִשְׁעֵ֔ךְ וְצ֥וּר מָעֻזֵּ֖ךְ לֹ֣א זָכָ֑רְתְּ עַל־כֵּ֗ן תִּטְּעִי֙ נִטְעֵ֣י נַעֲמָנִ֔ים וּזְמֹ֥רַת זָ֖ר תִּזְרָעֶֽנּוּ׃ Isaiah Isa 17:10 For you have forgotten the God of your salvation And have not remembered the rock of your refuge. Therefore you plant delightful plants And set them with vine slips of a strange god. (nasb) ======= Isaiah 17:11 ============ Isa 17:11 In the day shalt thou make thy plant to grow, and in the morning shalt thou make thy seed to flourish: but the harvest shall be a heap in the day of grief and of desperate sorrow.(KJV) Isaiah 17:11 In the day shalt thou make thy plant to growe, and in the morning shalt thou make thy seede to florish: but the haruest shall be gone in the day of possession, and there shalbe desperate sorrowe.(Geneva) Ésaïe 17:11 Lorsque tu les plantas, tu les entouras d'une haie, Et bientôt tu les fis venir en fleurs. (nasb) ======= Isaiah 17:12 ============ Isa 17:12 Woe to the multitude of many people, which make a noise like the noise of the seas; and to the rushing of nations, that make a rushing like the rushing of mighty waters!(KJV) Isaiah 17:12 Ah, the multitude of many people, they shall make a sounde like the noyse of the sea: for the noyse of the people shall make a sounde like the noyse of mightie waters.(Geneva) Ésaïe 17:12 Oh! quelle rumeur de peuples nombreux! Ils mugissent comme mugit la mer. Quel tumulte de nations! Elles grondent comme grondent les eaux puissantes.(FR) 12 ׃17 ה֗וֹי הֲמוֹן֙ עַמִּ֣ים רַבִּ֔ים כַּהֲמ֥וֹת יַמִּ֖ים יֶהֱמָי֑וּן וּשְׁא֣וֹן לְאֻמִּ֔ים כִּשְׁא֛וֹן מַ֥יִם כַּבִּירִ֖ים יִשָּׁאֽוּן׃ Isaiah Isa 17:12 Alas, the uproar of many peoples Who roar like the roaring of the seas, And the rumbling of nations Who rush on like the rumbling of mighty waters! (nasb) ======= Isaiah 17:13 ============ Isa 17:13 The nations shall rush like the rushing of many waters: but God shall rebuke them, and they shall flee far off, and shall be chased as the chaff of the mountains before the wind, and like a rolling thing before the whirlwind.(KJV) Isaiah 17:13 The people shall make a sounde like the noise of many waters: but God shall rebuke them, and they shall flee farre off, and shalbe chased as the chaffe of the mountaines before the winde, and as a rolling thing before the whirlewinde.(Geneva) Ésaïe 17:13 Les nations grondent comme grondent les grandes eaux... (nasb) ======= Isaiah 17:14 ============ Isa 17:14 And behold at eveningtide trouble; and before the morning he is not. This is the portion of them that spoil us, and the lot of them that rob us.(kjv) Isaiah 17:14 And loe, in the euening there is trouble: but afore the morning it is gone. This is the portion of them that spoyle vs, and the lot of them that robbe vs.(Geneva) Ésaïe 17:14 Quand vient le soir, voici, c'est une ruine soudaine; Avant le matin, ils ne sont plus!
