And Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz came unto him, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Set thine house in order: for thou shalt die, and not live.(KJV) Isaiah 38:1 About that time was Hezekiah sicke vnto the death, and the Prophet Isaiah sonne of Amoz came vnto him, and sayd vnto him, Thus sayth the Lord, Put thine house in an order, for thou shalt dye, and not liue.(Geneva) Ésaïe 38:1 En ce temps-là, Ezéchias fut malade à la mort. Le prophète Esaïe, fils d'Amots, vint auprès de lui, et lui dit: Ainsi parle l'Eternel: Donne tes ordres à ta maison, car tu vas mourir, et tu ne vivras plus.(FR) 1 ׃38 בַּיָּמִ֣ים הָהֵ֔ם חָלָ֥ה חִזְקִיָּ֖הוּ לָמ֑וּת וַיָּב֣וֹא אֵ֠לָיו יְשַׁעְיָ֨הוּ בֶן־אָמ֜וֹץ הַנָּבִ֗יא וַיֹּ֨אמֶר אֵלָ֜יו כֹּֽה־אָמַ֤ר יְהוָה֙ צַ֣ו לְבֵיתֶ֔ךָ כִּ֛י מֵ֥ת אַתָּ֖ה וְלֹ֥א תִֽחְיֶֽה׃ Isaiah Isa 38:1 In those days Hezekiah became mortally ill. And Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz came to him and said to him, "Thus says the Lord, 'Set your house in order, for you shall die and not live.'"(nasb) ======= Isaiah 38:2 ============ Isa 38:2 Then Hezekiah turned his face toward the wall, and prayed unto the LORD,(KJV) Isaiah 38:2 Then Hezekiah turned his face to the wall, and prayed to the Lord,(Geneva) Ésaïe 38:2 Ezéchias tourna son visage contre le mur, et fit cette prière à l'Eternel:(FR) 2 ׃38 וַיַּסֵּ֧ב חִזְקִיָּ֛הוּ פָּנָ֖יו אֶל־הַקִּ֑יר וַיִּתְפַּלֵּ֖ל אֶל־יְהוָֽה׃ Isaiah Isa 38:2 Then Hezekiah turned his face to the wall and prayed to the Lord, (nasb) ======= Isaiah 38:3 ============ Isa 38:3 And said, Remember now, O LORD, I beseech thee, how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore.(KJV) Isaiah 38:3 And saide, I beseeche thee, Lord, remember nowe howe I haue walked before thee in trueth, and with a perfite heart, & haue done that which is good in thy sight: and Hezekiah wept sore.(Geneva) Ésaïe 38:3 O Eternel! souviens-toi que j'ai marché devant ta face avec fidélité et intégrité de coeur, et que j'ai fait ce qui est bien à tes yeux! Et Ezéchias répandit d'abondantes larmes.(FR) 3 ׃38 וַיֹּאמַ֗ר אָנָּ֤ה יְהוָה֙ זְכָר־נָ֞א אֵ֣ת אֲשֶׁ֧ר הִתְהַלַּ֣כְתִּי לְפָנֶ֗יךָ בֶּֽאֱמֶת֙ וּבְלֵ֣ב שָׁלֵ֔ם וְהַטּ֥וֹב בְּעֵינֶ֖יךָ עָשִׂ֑יתִי וַיֵּ֥בְךְּ חִזְקִיָּ֖הוּ בְּכִ֥י גָדֽוֹל׃ ס Isaiah Isa 38:3 and said, "Remember now, O Lord, I beseech You, how I have walked before You in truth and with a whole heart, and have done what is good in Your sight." And Hezekiah wept bitterly. (nasb) ======= Isaiah 38:4 ============ Isa 38:4 Then came the word of the LORD to Isaiah, saying,(KJV) Isaiah 38:4 Then came the worde of the Lord to Isaiah, saying,(Geneva) Ésaïe 38:4 Puis la parole de l'Eternel fut adressée à Esaïe, en ces mots:(FR) 4 ׃38 וַֽיְהִי֙ דְּבַר־יְהוָ֔ה אֶֽל־יְשַׁעְיָ֖הוּ לֵאמֹֽר׃ Isaiah Isa 38:4 Then the word of the Lord came to Isaiah, saying, (nasb) ======= Isaiah 38:5 ============ Isa 38:5 Go, and say to Hezekiah, Thus saith the LORD, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will add unto thy days fifteen years.(KJV) Isaiah 38:5 Goe, and say vnto Hezekiah, Thus saith the Lord God of Dauid thy father, I haue heard thy prayer, and seene thy teares: behold, I will adde vnto thy dayes fifteene yeeres.(Geneva) Ésaïe 38:5 Va, et dis à Ezéchias: Ainsi parle l'Eternel, le Dieu de David, ton père: J'ai entendu ta prière, j'ai vu tes larmes. Voici, j'ajouterai à tes jours quinze années.(FR) 5 ׃38 הָל֞וֹךְ וְאָמַרְתָּ֣ אֶל־חִזְקִיָּ֗הוּ כֹּֽה־אָמַ֤ר יְהוָה֙ אֱלֹהֵי֙ דָּוִ֣ד אָבִ֔יךָ שָׁמַ֙עְתִּי֙ אֶת־תְּפִלָּתֶ֔ךָ רָאִ֖יתִי אֶת־דִּמְעָתֶ֑ךָ הִנְנִי֙ יוֹסִ֣ף עַל־יָמֶ֔יךָ חֲמֵ֥שׁ עֶשְׂרֵ֖ה שָׁנָֽה׃ Isaiah Isa 38:5 "Go and say to Hezekiah, 'Thus says the Lord, the God of your father David, "I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; behold, I will add fifteen years to your life. (nasb) ======= Isaiah 38:6 ============ Isa 38:6 And I will deliver thee and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria: and I will defend this city.(KJV) Isaiah 38:6 And I will deliuer thee out of the hand of the King of Asshur, and this citie: for I will defende this citie.(Geneva) Ésaïe 38:6 Je te délivrerai, toi et cette ville, de la main du roi d'Assyrie; je protégerai cette ville.(FR) 6 ׃38 וּמִכַּ֤ף מֶֽלֶךְ־אַשּׁוּר֙ אַצִּ֣ילְךָ֔ וְאֵ֖ת הָעִ֣יר הַזֹּ֑את וְגַנּוֹתִ֖י עַל־הָעִ֥יר הַזֹּֽאת׃ Isaiah Isa 38:6 I will deliver you and this city from the hand of the king of Assyria; and I will defend this city."'(nasb) ======= Isaiah 38:7 ============ Isa 38:7 And this shall be a sign unto thee from the LORD, that the LORD will do this thing that he hath spoken;(KJV) Isaiah 38:7 And this signe shalt thou haue of ye Lord, that ye Lord will do this thing that he hath spoken,(Geneva) Ésaïe 38:7 Et voici, de la part de l'Eternel, le signe auquel tu connaîtras que l'Eternel accomplira la parole qu'il a prononcée.(FR) 7 ׃38 וְזֶה־לְּךָ֥ הָא֖וֹת מֵאֵ֣ת יְהוָ֑ה אֲשֶׁר֙ יַעֲשֶׂ֣ה יְהוָ֔ה אֶת־הַדָּבָ֥ר הַזֶּ֖ה אֲשֶׁ֥ר דִּבֵּֽר׃ Isaiah Isa 38:7 "This shall be the sign to you from the Lord, that the Lord will do this thing that He has spoken: (nasb) ======= Isaiah 38:8 ============ Isa 38:8 Behold, I will bring again the shadow of the degrees, which is gone down in the sun dial of Ahaz, ten degrees backward. So the sun returned ten degrees, by which degrees it was gone down.(KJV) Isaiah 38:8 Beholde, I will bring againe the shadowe of the degrees (whereby it is gone downe in the diall of Ahaz by the sunne) ten degrees backeward: so the sunne returned by tenne degrees, by the which degrees it was gone downe.(Geneva) Ésaïe 38:8 Je ferai reculer de dix degrés en arrière avec le soleil l'ombre des degrés qui est descendue sur les degrés d'Achaz. Et le soleil recula de dix degrés sur les degrés où il était descendu.(FR) 8 ׃38 הִנְנִ֣י מֵשִׁ֣יב אֶת־צֵ֣ל הַֽמַּעֲל֡וֹת אֲשֶׁ֣ר יָרְדָה֩ בְמַעֲל֨וֹת אָחָ֥ז בַּשֶּׁ֛מֶשׁ אֲחֹרַנִּ֖ית עֶ֣שֶׂר מַעֲל֑וֹת וַתָּ֤שָׁב הַשֶּׁ֙מֶשׁ֙ עֶ֣שֶׂר מַעֲל֔וֹת בַּֽמַּעֲל֖וֹת אֲשֶׁ֥ר יָרָֽדָה׃ ס Isaiah Isa 38:8 Behold, I will cause the shadow on the stairway, which has gone down with the sun on the stairway of Ahaz, to go back ten steps." So the sun's shadow went back ten steps on the stairway on which it had gone down. Je suis privé du reste de mes années!(FR) 10 ׃38 אֲנִ֣י אָמַ֗רְתִּי בִּדְמִ֥י יָמַ֛י אֵלֵ֖כָה בְּשַׁעֲרֵ֣י שְׁא֑וֹל פֻּקַּ֖דְתִּי יֶ֥תֶר שְׁנוֹתָֽי׃ Isaiah Isa 38:10 I said, "In the middle of my life I am to enter the gates of Sheol; I am to be deprived of the rest of my years."(nasb) ======= Isaiah 38:11 ============ Isa 38:11 I said, I shall not see the LORD, even the LORD, in the land of the living: I shall behold man no more with the inhabitants of the world.(KJV) Isaiah 38:11 I said, I shall not see the Lord, euen the Lord in the land of the liuing: I shall see man no more among the inhabitants of the world.(Geneva) Ésaïe 38:11 Je disais: Je ne verrai plus l'Eternel, L'Eternel, sur la terre des vivants; Je ne verrai plus aucun homme Parmi les habitants du monde!(FR) 11 ׃38 אָמַ֙רְתִּי֙ לֹא־אֶרְאֶ֣ה יָ֔הּ יָ֖הּ בְּאֶ֣רֶץ הַחַיִּ֑ים לֹא־אַבִּ֥יט אָדָ֛ם ע֖וֹד עִם־י֥וֹשְׁבֵי חָֽדֶל׃ Isaiah Isa 38:11 I said, "I will not see the Lord, The Lord in the land of the living; I will look on man no more among the inhabitants of the world. (nasb) ======= Isaiah 38:12 ============ Isa 38:12 Mine age is departed, and is removed from me as a shepherd's tent: I have cut off like a weaver my life: he will cut me off with pining sickness: from day even to night wilt thou make an end of me.(KJV) Isaiah 38:12 Mine habitation is departed, and is remoued from me, like a shepheards tent: I haue cut off like a weauer my life: he will cut me off from the height: from day to night, thou wilt make an ende of me.(Geneva) Ésaïe 38:12 Ma demeure est enlevée et transportée loin de moi, Comme une tente de berger; Je sens le fil de ma vie coupé comme par un tisserand Qui me retrancherait de sa trame. He cuts me off from the loom; From day until night You make an end of me. (nasb) ======= Isaiah 38:15 ============ Isa 38:15 What shall I say? he hath both spoken unto me, and himself hath done it: I shall go softly all my years in the bitterness of my soul.(KJV) Isaiah 38:15 What shall I say? for he hath said it to me, and he hath done it: I shall walke weakely all my yeeres in the bitternesse of my soule.(Geneva) Ésaïe 38:15 Que dirai-je? (nasb) ======= Isaiah 38:19 ============ Isa 38:19 The living, the living, he shall praise thee, as I do this day: the father to the children shall make known thy truth.(KJV) Isaiah 38:19 But the liuing, the liuing, he shall confesse thee, as I doe this day: the father to the children shall declare thy trueth.(Geneva) Ésaïe 38:19 Le vivant, le vivant, c'est celui-là qui te loue, Comme moi aujourd'hui; Le père fait connaître à ses enfants ta fidélité.(FR) 19 ׃38 חַ֥י חַ֛י ה֥וּא יוֹדֶ֖ךָ כָּמ֣וֹנִי הַיּ֑וֹם אָ֣ב לְבָנִ֔ים יוֹדִ֖יעַ אֶל־אֲמִתֶּֽךָ׃ Isaiah Isa 38:19 "It is the living who give thanks to You, as I do today; A father tells his sons about Your faithfulness. (nasb) ======= Isaiah 38:20 ============ Isa 38:20 The LORD was ready to save me: therefore we will sing my songs to the stringed instruments all the days of our life in the house of the LORD.(KJV) Isaiah 38:20 The Lord was ready to saue me: therefore we will sing my song, all the dayes of our life in the House of the Lord.(Geneva) Ésaïe 38:20 L'Eternel m'a sauvé! (nasb) ======= Isaiah 39:1 ============ Isa 39:1 At that time Merodachbaladan, the son of Baladan, king of Babylon, sent letters and a present to Hezekiah: for he had heard that he had been sick, and was recovered.(KJV) Isaiah 39:1 At the same time, Merodach Baladan, the sonne of Baladan, King of Babel, sent letters, and a present to Hezekiah: for he had heard that he had bene sicke, and was recouered.(Geneva) Ésaïe 39:1 En ce même temps, Merodac-Baladan, fils de Baladan, roi de Babylone, envoya une lettre et un présent à Ezéchias, parce qu'il avait appris sa maladie et son rétablissement.(FR) |
