He found Him at Bethel And there He spoke with us, (nasb) ======= Hosea 12:5 ============ Hos 12:5 Even the LORD God of hosts; the LORD is his memorial.(KJV) Hosea 12:5 Yea, the Lorde God of hostes, the Lorde is himselfe his memoriall.(Geneva) Osée 12:5 L'Eternel est le Dieu des armées; Son nom est l'Eternel.(FR) 6 ׃12 וַֽיהוָ֖ה אֱלֹהֵ֣י הַצְּבָא֑וֹת יְהוָ֖ה זִכְרֽוֹ׃ Hosea Hos 12:5 Even the Lord, the God of hosts, The Lord is His name. Surely they are worthless. In Gilgal they sacrifice bulls, Yes, their altars are like the stone heaps Beside the furrows of the field. (nasb) ======= Hosea 12:12 ============ Hos 12:12 And Jacob fled into the country of Syria, and Israel served for a wife, and for a wife he kept sheep.(KJV) Hosea 12:12 And Iaakob fled into the countrey of Aram, and Israel serued for a wife, and for a wife he kept sheepe.(Geneva) Osée 12:12 Jacob s'enfuit au pays d'Aram, Israël servit pour une femme, Et pour une femme il garda les troupeaux.(FR) 13 ׃12 וַיִּבְרַ֥ח יַעֲקֹ֖ב שְׂדֵ֣ה אֲרָ֑ם וַיַּעֲבֹ֤ד יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ בְּאִשָּׁ֔ה וּבְאִשָּׁ֖ה שָׁמָֽר׃ Hosea Hos 12:12 Now Jacob fled to the land of Aram, And Israel worked for a wife, And for a wife he kept sheep. (nasb) ======= Hosea 12:13 ============ Hos 12:13 And by a prophet the LORD brought Israel out of Egypt, and by a prophet was he preserved.(KJV) Hosea 12:13 And by a Prophet the Lord brought Israel out of Egypt, & by a Prophet was he reserued.(Geneva) Osée 12:13 Par un prophète l'Eternel fit monter Israël hors d'Egypte, Et par un prophète Israël fut gardé.(FR) 14 ׃12 וּבְנָבִ֕יא הֶעֱלָ֧ה יְהוָ֛ה אֶת־יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל מִמִּצְרָ֑יִם וּבְנָבִ֖יא נִשְׁמָֽר׃ Hosea Hos 12:13 But by a prophet the Lord brought Israel from Egypt, And by a prophet he was kept. (nasb) ======= Hosea 12:14 ============ Hos 12:14 Ephraim provoked him to anger most bitterly: therefore shall he leave his blood upon him, and his reproach shall his LORD return unto him.(kjv) Hosea 12:14 But Ephraim prouoked him with hie places: therefore shal his blood be powred vpon him, and his reproche shall his Lord reward him.(Geneva) Osée 12:14 Ephraïm a irrité l'Eternel amèrement: Son Seigneur rejettera sur lui le sang qu'il a répandu, Il fera retomber sur lui la honte qui lui appartient.(FR) 15 ׃12 הִכְעִ֥יס אֶפְרַ֖יִם תַּמְרוּרִ֑ים וְדָמָיו֙ עָלָ֣יו יִטּ֔וֹשׁ וְחֶ֨רְפָּת֔וֹ יָשִׁ֥יב ל֖וֹ אֲדֹנָֽיו׃ Hosea Hos 12:14 Ephraim has provoked to bitter anger; So his Lord will leave his bloodguilt on him And bring back his reproach to him. (nasb) ======= Hosea 13:1 ============ Hos 13:1 When Ephraim spake trembling, he exalted himself in Israel; but when he offended in Baal, he died.(KJV) Hosea 13:1 When Ephraim spake, there was trembling: hee exalted him selfe in Israel, but he hath sinned in Baal, and is dead.(Geneva) Osée 13:1 Lorsqu'Ephraïm parlait, c'était une terreur: Il s'élevait en Israël.
