(nasb) ======= Hosea 11:2 ============ Hos 11:2 As they called them, so they went from them: they sacrificed unto Baalim, and burned incense to graven images.(KJV) Hosea 11:2 They called them, but they went thus from them: they sacrificed vnto Baalim, and burnt incense to images.(Geneva) Osée 11:2 Mais ils se sont éloignés de ceux qui les appelaient; Ils ont sacrifié aux Baals, Et offert de l'encens aux idoles.(FR) 2 ׃11 קָרְא֖וּ לָהֶ֑ם כֵּ֚ן הָלְכ֣וּ מִפְּנֵיהֶ֔ם לַבְּעָלִ֣ים יְזַבֵּ֔חוּ וְלַפְּסִלִ֖ים יְקַטֵּרֽוּן׃ Hosea Hos 11:2 The more they called them, The more they went from them; They kept sacrificing to the Baals And burning incense to idols. (nasb) ======= Hosea 11:3 ============ Hos 11:3 I taught Ephraim also to go, taking them by their arms; but they knew not that I healed them.(KJV) Hosea 11:3 I ledde Ephraim also, as one shoulde beare them in his armes: but they knewe not that I healed them.(Geneva) Osée 11:3 C'est moi qui guidai les pas d'Ephraïm, Le soutenant par ses bras; Et ils n'ont pas vu que je les guérissais.(FR) 3 ׃11 וְאָנֹכִ֤י תִרְגַּ֙לְתִּי֙ לְאֶפְרַ֔יִם קָחָ֖ם עַל־זְרֽוֹעֹתָ֑יו וְלֹ֥א יָדְע֖וּ כִּ֥י רְפָאתִֽים׃ Hosea Hos 11:3 Yet it is I who taught Ephraim to walk, I took them in My arms; But they did not know that I healed them. (nasb) ======= Hosea 11:4 ============ Hos 11:4 I drew them with cords of a man, with bands of love: and I was to them as they that take off the yoke on their jaws, and I laid meat unto them.(KJV) Hosea 11:4 I led them with cordes of a man, euen with bandes of loue, and I was to them, as hee that taketh off the yoke from their iawes, and I laide the meat vnto them.(Geneva) Osée 11:4 Je les tirai avec des liens d'humanité, avec des cordages d'amour, Je fus pour eux comme celui qui aurait relâché le joug près de leur bouche, Et je leur présentai de la nourriture.(FR) 4 ׃11 בְּחַבְלֵ֨י אָדָ֤ם אֶמְשְׁכֵם֙ בַּעֲבֹת֣וֹת אַהֲבָ֔ה וָאֶהְיֶ֥ה לָהֶ֛ם כִּמְרִ֥ימֵי עֹ֖ל עַ֣ל לְחֵיהֶ֑ם וְאַ֥ט אֵלָ֖יו אוֹכִֽיל׃ Hosea Hos 11:4 I led them with cords of a man, with bonds of love, And I became to them as one who lifts the yoke from their jaws; And I bent down and fed them. (nasb) ======= Hosea 11:5 ============ Hos 11:5 He shall not return into the land of Egypt, and the Assyrian shall be his king, because they refused to return.(KJV) Hosea 11:5 He shall no more returne into the lande of Egypt: but Asshur shalbe his King, because they refused to conuert.(Geneva) Osée 11:5 Ils ne retourneront pas au pays d'Egypte; Mais l'Assyrien sera leur roi, Parce qu'ils ont refusé de revenir à moi.(FR) 5 ׃11 לֹ֤א יָשׁוּב֙ אֶל־אֶ֣רֶץ מִצְרַ֔יִם וְאַשּׁ֖וּר ה֣וּא מַלְכּ֑וֹ כִּ֥י מֵאֲנ֖וּ לָשֽׁוּב׃ Hosea Hos 11:5 They will not return to the land of Egypt; But Assyria--he will be their king Because they refused to return to Me. (nasb) ======= Hosea 11:6 ============ Hos 11:6 And the sword shall abide on his cities, and shall consume his branches, and devour them, because of their own counsels.(KJV) Hosea 11:6 And the sworde shall fall on his cities, and shall consume his barres, and deuoure them, because of their owne counsels.(Geneva) Osée 11:6 L'épée fondra sur leurs villes, Anéantira, dévorera leurs soutiens, A cause des desseins qu'ils ont eus.(FR) 6 ׃11 וְחָלָ֥ה חֶ֙רֶב֙ בְּעָרָ֔יו וְכִלְּתָ֥ה בַדָּ֖יו וְאָכָ֑לָה מִֽמֹּעֲצ֖וֹתֵיהֶֽם׃ Hosea Hos 11:6 The sword will whirl against their cities, And will demolish their gate bars And consume them because of their counsels. (nasb) ======= Hosea 11:7 ============ Hos 11:7 And my people are bent to backsliding from me: though they called them to the most High, none at all would exalt him.(KJV) Hosea 11:7 And my people are bent to rebellion against me: though they called them to the most hie, yet none at all would exalt him.(Geneva) Osée 11:7 Mon peuple est enclin à s'éloigner de moi; On les rappelle vers le Très-Haut, Mais aucun d'eux ne l'exalte.(FR) 7 ׃11 וְעַמִּ֥י תְלוּאִ֖ים לִמְשֽׁוּבָתִ֑י וְאֶל־עַל֙ יִקְרָאֻ֔הוּ יַ֖חַד לֹ֥א יְרוֹמֵם׃ Hosea Hos 11:7 So My people are bent on turning from Me. Though they call them to the One on high, None at all exalts Him. (nasb) ======= Hosea 11:8 ============ Hos 11:8 How shall I give thee up, Ephraim? how shall I deliver thee, Israel? how shall I make thee as Admah? how shall I set thee as Zeboim? mine heart is turned within me, my repentings are kindled together.(KJV) Hosea 11:8 Howe shall I giue thee vp, Ephraim? howe shall I deliuer thee, Israel? How shall I make thee, as Admah? howe shall I set thee, as Zeboim? Mine heart is turned within mee: my repentings are rouled together.(Geneva) Osée 11:8 Que ferai-je de toi, Ephraïm? Dois-je te livrer, Israël? Te traiterai-je comme Adma? Te rendrai-je semblable à Tseboïm? Mon coeur s'agite au dedans de moi, Toutes mes compassions sont émues.(FR) 8 ׃11 אֵ֞יךְ אֶתֶּנְךָ֣ אֶפְרַ֗יִם אֲמַגֶּנְךָ֙ יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל אֵ֚יךְ אֶתֶּנְךָ֣ כְאַדְמָ֔ה אֲשִֽׂימְךָ֖ כִּצְבֹאיִ֑ם נֶהְפַּ֤ךְ עָלַי֙ לִבִּ֔י יַ֖חַד נִכְמְר֥וּ נִחוּמָֽי׃ Hosea Hos 11:8 How can I give you up, O Ephraim? How can I surrender you, O Israel? How can I make you like Admah? How can I treat you like Zeboiim? My heart is turned over within Me, All My compassions are kindled. (nasb) ======= Hosea 11:9 ============ Hos 11:9 I will not execute the fierceness of mine anger, I will not return to destroy Ephraim: for I am God, and not man; the Holy One in the midst of thee: and I will not enter into the city.(KJV) Hosea 11:9 I wil not execute ye fiercenesse of my wrath: I will not returne to destroy Ephraim: for I am God, and not man, the holy one in the middes of thee, and I will not enter into the citie.(Geneva) Osée 11:9 Je n'agirai pas selon mon ardente colère, Je renonce à détruire Ephraïm; Car je suis Dieu, et non pas un homme, Je suis le Saint au milieu de toi; Je ne viendrai pas avec colère.(FR) 9 ׃11 לֹ֤א אֶֽעֱשֶׂה֙ חֲר֣וֹן אַפִּ֔י לֹ֥א אָשׁ֖וּב לְשַׁחֵ֣ת אֶפְרָ֑יִם כִּ֣י אֵ֤ל אָֽנֹכִי֙ וְלֹא־אִ֔ישׁ בְּקִרְבְּךָ֣ קָד֔וֹשׁ וְלֹ֥א אָב֖וֹא בְּעִֽיר׃ Hosea Hos 11:9 I will not execute My fierce anger; I will not destroy Ephraim again. For I am God and not man, the Holy One in your midst, And I will not come in wrath. (nasb) ======= Hosea 11:10 ============ Hos 11:10 They shall walk after the LORD: he shall roar like a lion: when he shall roar, then the children shall tremble from the west.(KJV) Hosea 11:10 They shall walke after the Lorde: he shall roare like a lyon: when hee shall roare, then the children of the West shall feare.(Geneva) Osée 11:10 Ils suivront l'Eternel, qui rugira comme un lion, Car il rugira, et les enfants accourront de la mer.(FR) 10 ׃11 אַחֲרֵ֧י יְהוָ֛ה יֵלְכ֖וּ כְּאַרְיֵ֣ה יִשְׁאָ֑ג כִּֽי־ה֣וּא יִשְׁאַ֔ג וְיֶחֶרְד֥וּ בָנִ֖ים מִיָּֽם׃ Hosea Hos 11:10 They will walk after the Lord, He will roar like a lion; Indeed He will roar And His sons will come trembling from the west. (nasb) ======= Hosea 11:11 ============ Hos 11:11 They shall tremble as a bird out of Egypt, and as a dove out of the land of Assyria: and I will place them in their houses, saith the LORD.(KJV) Hosea 11:11 They shal feare as a sparrow out of Egypt, and as a doue of the lande of Asshur, and I will place them in their houses, sayth the Lord.(Geneva) Osée 11:11 Ils accourront de l'Egypte, comme un oiseau, Et du pays d'Assyrie, comme une colombe. Et je les ferai habiter dans leurs maisons, dit l'Eternel.(FR) 11 ׃11 יֶחֶרְד֤וּ כְצִפּוֹר֙ מִמִּצְרַ֔יִם וּכְיוֹנָ֖ה מֵאֶ֣רֶץ אַשּׁ֑וּר וְהוֹשַׁבְתִּ֥ים עַל־בָּתֵּיהֶ֖ם נְאֻם־יְהוָֽה׃ ס Hosea Hos 11:11 They will come trembling like birds from Egypt And like doves from the land of Assyria; And I will settle them in their houses, declares the Lord. (nasb) ======= Hosea 11:12 ============ Hos 11:12 Ephraim compasseth me about with lies, and the house of Israel with deceit: but Judah yet ruleth with God, and is faithful with the saints.(kjv) Hosea 11:12 Ephraim copasseth me about with lies, and the house of Israel with deceit: but Iudah yet ruleth with God, and is faithfull with the Saints.(Geneva) Osée 11:12 Ephraïm m'entoure de mensonge, Et la maison d'Israël de tromperie; Juda est encore sans frein vis-à-vis de Dieu, Vis-à-vis du Saint fidèle.(FR) 1 ׃12 סְבָבֻ֤נִי בְכַ֙חַשׁ֙ אֶפְרַ֔יִם וּבְמִרְמָ֖ה בֵּ֣ית יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וִֽיהוּדָ֗ה עֹ֥ד רָד֙ עִם־אֵ֔ל וְעִם־קְדוֹשִׁ֖ים נֶאֱמָֽן׃ Hosea Hos 11:12 Ephraim surrounds Me with lies And the house of Israel with deceit; Judah is also unruly against God, Even against the Holy One who is faithful. (nasb) ======= Hosea 12:1 ============ Hos 12:1 Ephraim feedeth on wind, and followeth after the east wind: he daily increaseth lies and desolation; and they do make a covenant with the Assyrians, and oil is carried into Egypt.(KJV) Hosea 12:1 Ephraim is fed with the winde, and followeth after the East winde: hee increaseth daily lies and destruction, & they do make a couenant with Asshur, and oyle is caried into Egypt.(Geneva) Osée 12:1 Ephraïm se repaît de vent, et poursuit le vent d'orient; Chaque jour il multiplie le mensonge et la violence; Il fait alliance avec l'Assyrie, Et on porte de l'huile en Egypte.(FR) |
