Then I will enter into judgment with them there On behalf of My people and My inheritance, Israel, Whom they have scattered among the nations; And they have divided up My land. (nasb) ======= Joel 3:3 ============ Joe 3:3 And they have cast lots for my people; and have given a boy for an harlot, and sold a girl for wine, that they might drink.(KJV) Joel 3:3 And they haue cast lottes for my people, and haue giuen the childe for the harlot, & sold the girle for wine, that they might drinke.(Geneva) Joël 3:3 Ils ont tiré mon peuple au sort; Ils ont donné le jeune garçon pour une prostituée, Ils ont vendu la jeune fille pour du vin, et ils ont bu.(FR) 3 ׃4 וְאֶל־עַמִּ֖י יַדּ֣וּ גוֹרָ֑ל וַיִּתְּנ֤וּ הַיֶּ֙לֶד֙ בַּזּוֹנָ֔ה וְהַיַּלְדָּ֛ה מָכְר֥וּ בַיַּ֖יִן וַיִּשְׁתּֽוּ׃ Joel Joe 3:3 "They have also cast lots for My people, Traded a boy for a harlot And sold a girl for wine that they may drink. (nasb) ======= Joel 3:4 ============ Joe 3:4 Yea, and what have ye to do with me, O Tyre, and Zidon, and all the coasts of Palestine? will ye render me a recompence? and if ye recompense me, swiftly and speedily will I return your recompence upon your own head;(KJV) Joel 3:4 Yea, and what haue you to do with me, O Tyrus and Zidon and all the costes of Palestina? will ye render me a recompence? and if ye recompence mee, swiftly and speedily will I render your recompence vpon your head:(Geneva) Joël 3:4 Que me voulez-vous, Tyr et Sidon, Et vous tous, districts des Philistins? Voulez-vous tirer vengeance de moi? Si vous voulez vous venger, Je ferai bien vite retomber votre vengeance sur vos têtes.(FR) 4 ׃4 וְ֠גַם מָה־אַתֶּ֥ם לִי֙ צֹ֣ר וְצִיד֔וֹן וְכֹ֖ל גְּלִיל֣וֹת פְּלָ֑שֶׁת הַגְּמ֗וּל אַתֶּם֙ מְשַׁלְּמִ֣ים עָלָ֔י וְאִם־גֹּמְלִ֤ים אַתֶּם֙ עָלַ֔י קַ֣ל מְהֵרָ֔ה אָשִׁ֥יב גְּמֻלְכֶ֖ם בְּרֹאשְׁכֶֽם׃ Joel Joe 3:4 Moreover, what are you to Me, O Tyre, Sidon and all the regions of Philistia? Are you rendering Me a recompense? But if you do recompense Me, swiftly and speedily I will return your recompense on your head. (nasb) ======= Joel 3:5 ============ Joe 3:5 Because ye have taken my silver and my gold, and have carried into your temples my goodly pleasant things:(KJV) Joel 3:5 For ye haue taken my siluer and my golde, and haue caried into your temples my goodly and pleasant things.(Geneva) Joël 3:5 Vous avez pris mon argent mon or; Et ce que j'avais de plus précieux et de plus beau, Vous l'avez emporté dans vos temples.(FR) 5 ׃4 אֲשֶׁר־כַּסְפִּ֥י וּזְהָבִ֖י לְקַחְתֶּ֑ם וּמַֽחֲמַדַּי֙ הַטֹּבִ֔ים הֲבֵאתֶ֖ם לְהֵיכְלֵיכֶֽם׃ Joel Joe 3:5 Since you have taken My silver and My gold, brought My precious treasures to your temples, (nasb) ======= Joel 3:6 ============ Joe 3:6 The children also of Judah and the children of Jerusalem have ye sold unto the Grecians, that ye might remove them far from their border.(KJV) Joel 3:6 The children also of Iudah and the children of Ierusalem haue you solde vnto the Grecians, that ye might send them farre from their border.(Geneva) Joël 3:6 Vous avez vendu les enfants de Juda et de Jérusalem aux enfants de Javan, Afin de les éloigner de leur territoire.(FR) 6 ׃4 וּבְנֵ֤י יְהוּדָה֙ וּבְנֵ֣י יְרוּשָׁלִַ֔ם מְכַרְתֶּ֖ם לִבְנֵ֣י הַיְּוָנִ֑ים לְמַ֥עַן הַרְחִיקָ֖ם מֵעַ֥ל גְּבוּלָֽם׃ Joel Joe 3:6 and sold the sons of Judah and Jerusalem to the Greeks in order to remove them far from their territory, (nasb) ======= Joel 3:7 ============ Joe 3:7 Behold, I will raise them out of the place whither ye have sold them, and will return your recompence upon your own head:(KJV) Joel 3:7 Beholde, I will rayse them out of the place where ye haue sold them, and will render your reward vpon your owne head,(Geneva) Joël 3:7 Voici, je les ferai revenir du lieu où vous les avez vendus, Et je ferai retomber votre vengeance sur vos têtes.(FR) 7 ׃4 הִנְנִ֣י מְעִירָ֔ם מִן־הַ֨מָּק֔וֹם אֲשֶׁר־מְכַרְתֶּ֥ם אֹתָ֖ם שָׁ֑מָּה וַהֲשִׁבֹתִ֥י גְמֻלְכֶ֖ם בְּרֹאשְׁכֶֽם׃ Joel Joe 3:7 behold, I am going to arouse them from the place where you have sold them, and return your recompense on your head. (nasb) ======= Joel 3:8 ============ Joe 3:8 And I will sell your sons and your daughters into the hand of the children of Judah, and they shall sell them to the Sabeans, to a people far off: for the LORD hath spoken it.(KJV) Joel 3:8 And I will send your sonnes & your daughters into the hande of the children of Iudah, and they shall sell them to the Sabeans, to a people farre off: for the Lord hath spoken it.(Geneva) Joël 3:8 Je vendrai vos fils et vos filles aux enfants de Juda, Et ils les vendront aux Sabéens, nation lointaine; Car l'Eternel a parlé.(FR) 8 ׃4 וּמָכַרְתִּ֞י אֶת־בְּנֵיכֶ֣ם וְאֶת־בְּנֽוֹתֵיכֶ֗ם בְּיַד֙ בְּנֵ֣י יְהוּדָ֔ה וּמְכָר֥וּם לִשְׁבָאיִ֖ם אֶל־גּ֣וֹי רָח֑וֹק כִּ֥י יְהוָ֖ה דִּבֵּֽר׃ ס Joel Joe 3:8 Also I will sell your sons and your daughters into the hand of the sons of Judah, and they will sell them to the Sabeans, to a distant nation," for the Lord has spoken. (nasb) ======= Joel 3:9 ============ Joe 3:9 Proclaim ye this among the Gentiles; Prepare war, wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near; let them come up:(KJV) Joel 3:9 Publish this among the Gentiles: prepare warre, wake vp the mightie men: let all the men of warre drawe neere and come vp.(Geneva) Joël 3:9 Publiez ces choses parmi les nations! Préparez la guerre! Réveillez les héros! Qu'ils s'approchent, qu'ils montent, Tous les hommes de guerre!(FR) 9 ׃4 קִרְאוּ־זֹאת֙ בַּגּוֹיִ֔ם קַדְּשׁ֖וּ מִלְחָמָ֑ה הָעִ֙ירוּ֙ הַגִּבּוֹרִ֔ים יִגְּשׁ֣וּ יַֽעֲל֔וּ כֹּ֖ל אַנְשֵׁ֥י הַמִּלְחָמָֽה׃ Joel Joe 3:9 Proclaim this among the nations: Prepare a war; rouse the mighty men! Let all the soldiers draw near, let them come up! Là, ô Eternel, fais descendre tes héros!(FR) 11 ׃4 ע֣וּשׁוּ וָבֹ֧אוּ כָֽל־הַגּוֹיִ֛ם מִסָּבִ֖יב וְנִקְבָּ֑צוּ שָׁ֕מָּה הַֽנְחַ֥ת יְהוָ֖ה גִּבּוֹרֶֽיךָ׃ Joel Joe 3:11 Hasten and come, all you surrounding nations, And gather yourselves there. Bring down, O Lord, Your mighty ones. (nasb) ======= Joel 3:12 ============ Joe 3:12 Let the heathen be wakened, and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat: for there will I sit to judge all the heathen round about.(KJV) Joel 3:12 Let the heathen be wakened, and come vp to the valley of Iehoshaphat: for there will I sit to iudge all the heathen round about.(Geneva) Joël 3:12 Que les nations se réveillent, et qu'elles montent Vers la vallée de Josaphat! Car là je siégerai pour juger toutes les nations d'alentour.(FR) 12 ׃4 יֵע֙וֹרוּ֙ וְיַעֲל֣וּ הַגּוֹיִ֔ם אֶל־עֵ֖מֶק יְהֽוֹשָׁפָ֑ט כִּ֣י שָׁ֗ם אֵשֵׁ֛ב לִשְׁפֹּ֥ט אֶת־כָּל־הַגּוֹיִ֖ם מִסָּבִֽיב׃ Joel Joe 3:12 Let the nations be aroused And come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat, For there I will sit to judge All the surrounding nations. (nasb) ======= Joel 3:13 ============ Joe 3:13 Put ye in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe: come, get you down; for the press is full, the fats overflow; for their wickedness is great.(KJV) Joel 3:13 Put in your sithes, for the haruest is ripe: come, get you downe, for the winepresse is full: yea, the winepresses runne ouer, for their wickednesse is great.(Geneva) Joël 3:13 Saisissez la faucille, Car la moisson est mûre! Venez, foulez, Car le pressoir est plein, Les cuves regorgent! Car grande est leur méchanceté,(FR) 13 ׃4 שִׁלְח֣וּ מַגָּ֔ל כִּ֥י בָשַׁ֖ל קָצִ֑יר בֹּ֤אֽוּ רְדוּ֙ כִּֽי־מָ֣לְאָה גַּ֔ת הֵשִׁ֙יקוּ֙ הַיְקָבִ֔ים כִּ֥י רַבָּ֖ה רָעָתָֽם׃ Joel Joe 3:13 Put in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe. For the day of the Lord is near in the valley of decision. But the Lord is a refuge for His people And a stronghold to the sons of Israel. (nasb) ======= Joel 3:17 ============ Joe 3:17 So shall ye know that I am the LORD your God dwelling in Zion, my holy mountain: then shall Jerusalem be holy, and there shall no strangers pass through her any more.(KJV) Joel 3:17 So shall ye know that I am the Lord your God dwelling in Zion, mine holy Mountaine: then shall Ierusalem bee holy, and there shall no strangers go thorowe her any more.(Geneva) Joël 3:17 Et vous saurez que je suis l'Eternel, votre Dieu, Résidant à Sion, ma sainte montagne. So Jerusalem will be holy, And strangers will pass through it no more. (nasb) ======= Joel 3:18 ============ Joe 3:18 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the mountains shall drop down new wine, and the hills shall flow with milk, and all the rivers of Judah shall flow with waters, and a fountain shall come forth out of the house of the LORD, and shall water the valley of Shittim.(KJV) Joel 3:18 And in that day shal the mountaines drop downe newe wine, and the hilles shall flowe with milke, and al the riuers of Iudah shall runne with waters, and a fountaine shall come forth of the House of the Lorde, and shall water the valley of Shittim.(Geneva) Joël 3:18 En ce temps-là, le moût ruissellera des montagnes, Le lait coulera des collines, Et il y aura de l'eau dans tous les torrents de Juda; Une source sortira aussi de la maison de l'Eternel, Et arrosera la vallée de Sittim.(FR) 18 ׃4 וְהָיָה֩ בַיּ֨וֹם הַה֜וּא יִטְּפ֧וּ הֶהָרִ֣ים עָסִ֗יס וְהַגְּבָעוֹת֙ תֵּלַ֣כְנָה חָלָ֔ב וְכָל־אֲפִיקֵ֥י יְהוּדָ֖ה יֵ֣לְכוּ מָ֑יִם וּמַעְיָ֗ן מִבֵּ֤ית יְהוָה֙ יֵצֵ֔א וְהִשְׁקָ֖ה אֶת־נַ֥חַל הַשִּׁטִּֽים׃ Joel Joe 3:18 And in that day The mountains will drip with sweet wine, And the hills will flow with milk, And all the brooks of Judah will flow with water; And a spring will go out from the house of the Lord To water the valley of Shittim. (nasb) ======= Joel 3:19 ============ Joe 3:19 Egypt shall be a desolation, and Edom shall be a desolate wilderness, for the violence against the children of Judah, because they have shed innocent blood in their land.(KJV) Joel 3:19 Egypt shalbe waste, and Edom shall be a desolate wildernesse, for the iniuries of the childre of Iudah, because they haue shed innocent blood in their land.(Geneva) Joël 3:19 L'Egypte sera dévastée, Edom sera réduit en désert, A cause des violences contre les enfants de Juda, Dont ils ont répandu le sang innocent dans leur pays.(FR) 19 ׃4 מִצְרַ֙יִם֙ לִשְׁמָמָ֣ה תִֽהְיֶ֔ה וֶאֱד֕וֹם לְמִדְבַּ֥ר שְׁמָמָ֖ה תִּֽהְיֶ֑ה מֵֽחֲמַס֙ בְּנֵ֣י יְהוּדָ֔ה אֲשֶׁר־שָׁפְכ֥וּ דָם־נָקִ֖יא בְּאַרְצָֽם׃ Joel Joe 3:19 Egypt will become a waste, And Edom will become a desolate wilderness, Because of the violence done to the sons of Judah, In whose land they have shed innocent blood. (nasb) ======= Joel 3:20 ============ Joe 3:20 But Judah shall dwell for ever, and Jerusalem from generation to generation.(KJV) Joel 3:20 But Iudah shall dwell for euer, and Ierusalem from generation to generation.(Geneva) Joël 3:20 Mais Juda sera toujours habité, Et Jérusalem, de génération en génération.(FR) 20 ׃4 וִיהוּדָ֖ה לְעוֹלָ֣ם תֵּשֵׁ֑ב וִירוּשָׁלַ֖͏ִם לְד֥וֹר וָדֽוֹר׃ Joel Joe 3:20 But Judah will be inhabited forever And Jerusalem for all generations. (nasb) ======= Joel 3:21 ============ Joe 3:21 For I will cleanse their blood that I have not cleansed: for the LORD dwelleth in Zion.(kjv) Joel 3:21 For I will clense their blood, that I haue not clensed, and the Lord will dwell in Zion.(Geneva) Joël 3:21 Je vengerai leur sang que je n'ai point encore vengé, Et L'Eternel résidera dans Sion.(FR) 21 ׃4 וְנִקֵּ֖יתִי דָּמָ֣ם לֹֽא־נִקֵּ֑יתִי וַֽיהוָ֖ה שֹׁכֵ֥ן בְּצִיּֽוֹן׃ Joel Joe 3:21 And I will avenge their blood which I have not avenged, For the Lord dwells in Zion.
