Today's Date: ======= Hebrews 5:1 ============ Heb 5:1 For every high priest taken from among men is ordained for men in things pertaining to God, that he may offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins:(KJV) Hebrews 5:1 For euery hie Priest is taken from among men, and is ordeined for men, in things pertaining to God, that he may offer both giftes and sacrifices for sinnes,(Geneva) Hébreux 5:1 En effet, tout souverain sacrificateur pris du milieu des hommes est établi pour les hommes dans le service de Dieu, afin de présenter des offrandes et des sacrifices pour les péchés.(FR) כִּי כָל־כֹּהֵן גָּדוֹל הַמּוּרָם מִבְּנֵי אָדָם נוֹעַד לַעֲמֹד לִפְנֵי אֱלֹהִים בְּעַד בְּנֵי אָדָם לְהַקְרִיב מִנְחָה וָזֶבַח עַל־חַטֹּאתָם׃ א Hebrews Heb 5:1 For every high priest taken from among men is appointed on behalf of men in things pertaining to God, in order to offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins; (nasb) ======= Hebrews 5:2 ============ Heb 5:2 Who can have compassion on the ignorant, and on them that are out of the way; for that he himself also is compassed with infirmity.(KJV) Hebrews 5:2 Which is able sufficiently to haue compassion on them that are ignorant, and that are out of the way, because that hee also is compassed with infirmitie,(Geneva) Hébreux 5:2 Il peut être indulgent pour les ignorants et les égarés, puisque la faiblesse est aussi son partage.(FR) וְהוּא מוּכָן לְהַרְגִּיעַ רִגְשַׁת נַפְשׁוֹ לְשֹׁגְגִים וּלְתֹעִים כִּי גַם־הוּא אֵין מְתֹם בִּבְשָׂרוֹ מִכַּף־רֶגֶל וְעַד־רֹאשׁ׃ ב Hebrews Heb 5:2 he can deal gently with the ignorant and misguided, since he himself also is beset with weakness; (nasb) ======= Hebrews 5:3 ============ Heb 5:3 And by reason hereof he ought, as for the people, so also for himself, to offer for sins.(KJV) Hebrews 5:3 And for the sames sake he is bound to offer for sinnes, as wel for his own part, as for ye peoples.(Geneva) Hébreux 5:3 Et c'est à cause de cette faiblesse qu'il doit offrir des sacrifices pour ses propres péchés, comme pour ceux du peuple.(FR) בַּעֲבוּר זֹאת הָיָה עלָיו לְהַקְרִיב בְּעַד חַטַּאת נַפְשׁוֹ כְּמוֹ בְעַד הָעָם׃ ג Hebrews Heb 5:3 and because of it he is obligated to offer sacrifices for sins, as for the people, so also for himself. (nasb) ======= Hebrews 5:4 ============ Heb 5:4 And no man taketh this honour unto himself, but he that is called of God, as was Aaron.(KJV) Hebrews 5:4 And no man taketh this honor vnto him selfe, but he that is called of God, as was Aaron.(Geneva) Hébreux 5:4 Nul ne s'attribue cette dignité, s'il n'est appelé de Dieu, comme le fut Aaron.(FR) וְלֹא יִקַּח אִישׁ אֶת־הַכָּבוֹד הַזֶּה לְנַפְשׁוֹ כִּי אִם־אֶת־אֲשֶׁר יִבְחַר־בּוֹ הָאֱלֹהִים כְּאַהֲרֹן׃ ד Hebrews Heb 5:4 And no one takes the honor to himself, but receives it when he is called by God, even as Aaron was. (nasb) ======= Hebrews 5:5 ============ Heb 5:5 So also Christ glorified not himself to be made an high priest; but he that said unto him, Thou art my Son, to day have I begotten thee.(KJV) Hebrews 5:5 So likewise Christ tooke not to him selfe this honour, to be made the hie Priest, but hee that sayd vnto him, Thou art my Sonne, this day begate I thee, gaue it him.(Geneva) Hébreux 5:5 Et Christ ne s'est pas non plus attribué la gloire de devenir souverain sacrificateur, mais il la tient de celui qui lui a dit: Tu es mon Fils, Je t'ai engendré aujourd'hui!(FR) כֵּן גַּם־הַמָּשִׁיחַ לֹא הִתְנַשֵּׂא מִנַּפְשׁוֹ לִהְיוֹת כֹּהֵן גָּדוֹל כִּי אִם־עַל־פִּי הָאֹמֵר אֵלָיו בְּנִי אַתָּה אֲנִי הַיּוֹם יְלִדְתִּיךָ׃ ה Hebrews Heb 5:5 So also Christ did not glorify Himself so as to become a high priest, but He who said to Him, "YOU ARE MY SON, TODAY I HAVE BEGOTTEN YOU"; (nasb) ======= Hebrews 5:6 ============ Heb 5:6 As he saith also in another place, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.(KJV) Hebrews 5:6 As he also in another place speaketh, Thou art a Priest for euer, after ye order of Melchi-sedec.(Geneva) Hébreux 5:6 Comme il dit encore ailleurs: Tu es sacrificateur pour toujours, Selon l'ordre de Melchisédek.(FR) וְכַאֲשֶׁר אָמַר גַּם־בְּמָקוֹם אַחֵר אַתָּה־כֹהֵן לְעוֹלָם עַל־דִּבְרָתִי מַלְכִּי־צֶדֶק׃ ו Hebrews Heb 5:6 just as He says also in another passage, "YOU ARE A PRIEST FOREVER ACCORDING TO THE ORDER OF MELCHIZEDEK."(nasb) ======= Hebrews 5:7 ============ Heb 5:7 Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared;(KJV) Hebrews 5:7 Who in the dayes of his flesh did offer vp prayers and supplications, with strong crying and teares vnto him, that was able to saue him from death, and was also heard in that which he feared.(Geneva) Hébreux 5:7 C'est lui qui, dans les jours de sa chair, ayant présenté avec de grands cris et avec larmes des prières et des supplications à celui qui pouvait le sauver de la mort, et ayant été exaucé à cause de sa piété,(FR) אֲשֶׁר בִּימֵי מְגּוּרָיו בִּבְשָׂרוֹ הִקְרִיב תְּפִלּוֹת וְתַחֲנוּנִים בְּקוֹל שַׁוְעָתוֹ וְדִמְעָתוֹ לִפְנֵי שַׂגִּיא כֹחַ יְחַלְּצֶנּוּ מִמָּוֶת וַיֵּעָתֵר־לוֹ עֵקֶב יִרְאָתוֹ׃ ז Hebrews Heb 5:7 In the days of His flesh, He offered up both prayers and supplications with loud crying and tears to the One able to save Him from death, and He was heard because of His piety. (nasb) ======= Hebrews 5:8 ============ Heb 5:8 Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered;(KJV) Hebrews 5:8 And though he were ye Sonne, yet learned he obedience, by the things which he suffered.(Geneva) Hébreux 5:8 a appris, bien qu'il fût Fils, l'obéissance par les choses qu'il a souffertes,(FR) וְאַף בִּהְיוֹתוֹ בֵן לֻמַּד בְּסִבְלֹתָיו לִשְׁמֹעַ בְּקוֹל מְצַוֶּה׃ ח Hebrews Heb 5:8 Although He was a Son, He learned obedience from the things which He suffered. (nasb) ======= Hebrews 5:9 ============ Heb 5:9 And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;(KJV) Hebrews 5:9 And being consecrate, was made the authour of eternall saluation vnto all them that obey him:(Geneva) Hébreux 5:9 et qui, après avoir été élevé à la perfection, est devenu pour tous ceux qui lui obéissent l'auteur d'un salut éternel,(FR) וּבְהִמָּצְאוֹ שָׁלֵם הָיָה לְכָל־שֹׁמְעָיו לִמְקוֹר תְּשׁוּעַת עוֹלָמִים׃ ט Hebrews Heb 5:9 And having been made perfect, He became to all those who obey Him the source of eternal salvation, (nasb) ======= Hebrews 5:10 ============ Heb 5:10 Called of God an high priest after the order of Melchisedec.(KJV) Hebrews 5:10 And is called of God an hie Priest after the order of Melchisedec.(Geneva) Hébreux 5:10 Dieu l'ayant déclaré souverain sacrificateur selon l'ordre de Melchisédek.(FR) וּפִי אֱלֹהִים יִקֳּבֶנּוּ כֹּהֵן גָּדוֹל עַל־דִּבְרָתִי מַלְכִּי־צֶדֶק׃ י Hebrews Heb 5:10 being designated by God as a high priest according to the order of Melchizedek. (nasb) ======= Hebrews 5:11 ============ Heb 5:11 Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing.(KJV) Hebrews 5:11 Of whome we haue many things to say, which are hard to be vttered, because ye are dull of hearing.(Geneva) Hébreux 5:11 Nous avons beaucoup à dire là-dessus, et des choses difficiles à expliquer, parce que vous êtes devenus lents à comprendre.(FR) עַל־זֶה יֶשׁ־לָנוּ הַרְבֵּה לְדַבֵּר וְדֵי־בָאֵר כָּבֵד מִמֶּנּוּ בִּהְיוֹתְכֶם עַרְלֵי־אֹזֶן׃ יא Hebrews Heb 5:11 Concerning him we have much to say, and it is hard to explain, since you have become dull of hearing. (nasb) ======= Hebrews 5:12 ============ Heb 5:12 For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.(KJV) Hebrews 5:12 For when as concerning ye time ye ought to be teachers, yet haue ye neede againe that we teach you what are the first principles of the worde of God: and are become such as haue neede of milke, and not of strong meate.(Geneva) Hébreux 5:12 Vous, en effet, qui depuis longtemps devriez être des maîtres, vous avez encore besoin qu'on vous enseigne les premiers rudiments des oracles de Dieu, vous en êtes venus à avoir besoin de lait et non d'une nourriture solide.(FR) כִּי תַחַת אֲשֶׁר הָיָה עֲלֵיכֶם לִהְיוֹת מוֹרִים בְּרֹב הַיָּמִים נָחוּץ הַדָּבָר עַתָּה לָשׁוּב לְחַוֹּת דַּעַת לָכֶם מָה הֵמָּה אַבְנֵי פִנָּה בְּתוֹרַת אֱלֹהִים וּנְכֹנִים אַתֶּם לְחָלָב וְלֹא לְלֶחֶם שָׁמֵן׃ יב Hebrews Heb 5:12 For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you have need again for someone to teach you the elementary principles of the oracles of God, and you have come to need milk and not solid food. (nasb) ======= Hebrews 5:13 ============ Heb 5:13 For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.(KJV) Hebrews 5:13 For euery one that vseth milke, is inexpert in the worde of righteousnes: for he is a babe.(Geneva) Hébreux 5:13 Or, quiconque en est au lait n'a pas l'expérience de la parole de justice; car il est un enfant.(FR) כִּי כָל־מִי אֲשֶׁר חָלָב מְזוֹנוֹ אֵין לוֹ דֵעָה בְדִבְרֵי צֶדֶק כִּי עוֹלֵל הוּא׃ יג Hebrews Heb 5:13 For everyone who partakes only of milk is not accustomed to the word of righteousness, for he is an infant. (nasb) ======= Hebrews 5:14 ============ Heb 5:14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.(kjv) Hebrews 5:14 But strong meate belongeth to them that are of age, which through long custome haue their wits exercised, to discerne both good and euill.(Geneva) Hébreux 5:14 Mais la nourriture solide est pour les hommes faits, pour ceux dont le jugement est exercé par l'usage à discerner ce qui est bien et ce qui est mal.(FR) וְלֶחֶם שָׁמֵן לִשְׁלֵמִים אֲשֶׁר הַסְכֵּן הִסְכִּינוּ בִּבְחִינַת לִבּוֹתָם לְהַבְדִּיל בֵּין־טוֹב לָרָע׃ יד Hebrews Heb 5:14 But solid food is for the mature, who because of practice have their senses trained to discern good and evil. (nasb) ======= Hebrews 6:1 ============ Heb 6:1 Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,(KJV) Hebrews 6:1 Therefore, leauing the doctrine of the beginning of Christ, let vs be led forward vnto perfection, not laying againe ye foundation of repetance fro dead workes, & of faith toward God,(Geneva) Hébreux 6:1 C'est pourquoi, laissant les éléments de la parole de Christ, tendons à ce qui est parfait, sans poser de nouveau le fondement du renoncement aux oeuvres mortes, de la foi en Dieu,(FR) |
