(nasb) ======= Hebrews 6:10 ============ Heb 6:10 For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.(KJV) Hebrews 6:10 For God is not vnrighteous, that hee should forget your worke, and labour of loue, which ye shewed toward his Name, in that ye haue ministred vnto the Saints, and yet minister.(Geneva) Hébreux 6:10 Car Dieu n'est pas injuste, pour oublier votre travail et l'amour que vous avez montré pour son nom, ayant rendu et rendant encore des services aux saints.(FR) כִּי לֹא יְעַוֵּל הָאֱלֹהִים וְלֹא יִשְׁכַּח אֶת־מַעֲשֵׂיכֶם וְאֶת־הָאַהֲבָה אֲשֶׁר הֶרְאֵיתֶם לִשְׁמוֹ סֹמְכִים הֱיִיתֶם לִקְדשָׁיו וְעוֹדְכֶם כֵּן גַּם־הַיּוֹם׃ י Hebrews Heb 6:10 For God is not unjust so as to forget your work and the love which you have shown toward His name, in having ministered and in still ministering to the saints. (nasb) ======= Hebrews 6:13 ============ Heb 6:13 For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself,(KJV) Hebrews 6:13 For when God made the promise to Abraham, because he had no greater to sweare by, he sware by himselfe,(Geneva) Hébreux 6:13 Lorsque Dieu fit la promesse à Abraham, ne pouvant jurer par un plus grand que lui, il jura par lui-même,(FR) כִּי כַאֲשֶׁר הִבְטִיחַ אֱלֹהִים אֶת־אַבְרָהָם וְאֵין גָּדוֹל מִמֶּנּוּ לְהִשָּׁבַע בּוֹ נִשְׁבַּע בְּנַפְשׁוֹ׃ יג Hebrews Heb 6:13 For when God made the promise to Abraham, since He could swear by no one greater, He swore by Himself, (nasb) ======= Hebrews 6:14 ============ Heb 6:14 Saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee.(KJV) Hebrews 6:14 Saying, Surely I wil aboundantly blesse thee and multiplie thee marueilously.(Geneva) Hébreux 6:14 et dit: Certainement je te bénirai et je multiplierai ta postérité.(FR) וַיֹּאמַר כִּי־בָרֵךְ אֲבָרֶכְךָ וְהַרְבָּה אַרְבֶּה אוֹתָךְ׃ יד Hebrews Heb 6:14 saying, "I WILL SURELY BLESS YOU AND I WILL SURELY MULTIPLY YOU."(nasb) ======= Hebrews 6:15 ============ Heb 6:15 And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.(KJV) Hebrews 6:15 And so after that he had taried patiently, he enioyed the promes.(Geneva) Hébreux 6:15 Et c'est ainsi qu'Abraham, ayant persévéré, obtint l'effet de la promesse.(FR) וּבְכֵן הוֹחִיל בְּאֹרֶךְ רוּחוֹ וַיִּנְחַל אֶת־הַהַבְטָחָה׃ טו Hebrews Heb 6:15 And so, having patiently waited, he obtained the promise. (nasb) ======= Hebrews 6:17 ============ Heb 6:17 Wherein God, willing more abundantly to shew unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath:(KJV) Hebrews 6:17 So God, willing more aboundantly to shew vnto the heires of promes the stablenes of his counsell, bound himselfe by an othe,(Geneva) Hébreux 6:17 C'est pourquoi Dieu, voulant montrer avec plus d'évidence aux héritiers de la promesse l'immutabilité de sa résolution, intervint par un serment,(FR) וְכֵן כַּאֲשֶׁר חָפֵץ הָאֱלֹהִים בְּכָל־תֹּקֶף לְהַרְאוֹת אֶת־יוֹרְשֵׁי הַהַבְטָחָה כִּי עֲצָתוֹ אֵין לְהָשִׁיב עָרַב לִפְנֵיהֶם בִּשְׁבוּעָתוֹ׃ יז Hebrews Heb 6:17 In the same way God, desiring even more to show to the heirs of the promise the unchangeableness of His purpose, interposed with an oath, (nasb) ======= Hebrews 6:18 ============ Heb 6:18 That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:(KJV) Hebrews 6:18 That by two immutable things, wherein it is vnpossible that God should lye, we might haue strong consolation, which haue our refuge to lay holde vpon that hope that is set before vs,(Geneva) Hébreux 6:18 afin que, par deux choses immuables, dans lesquelles il est impossible que Dieu mente, nous trouvions un puissant encouragement, nous dont le seul refuge a été de saisir l'espérance qui nous était proposée.(FR) וּבִשְׁתֵּי אֲמָרוֹת אֵלֶּה אֲשֶׁר אֵין חֲלִיפוֹת לָהֵן מִבִּלְתִּי יְכֹלֶת הָאֱלֹהִים לְכַזֵּב נִמְצָא לָנוּ נֹחַם־עֹז הַמְמַלְּטִים אֶת־נַפְשֵׁנוּ לְהַחֲזִיק בַּתִּקְוָה הָעֲרוּכָה לְפָנֵינוּ׃ יח Hebrews Heb 6:18 so that by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have taken refuge would have strong encouragement to take hold of the hope set before us.
