(nasb) ======= Hebrews 7:11 ============ Heb 7:11 If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron?(KJV) Hebrews 7:11 If therefore perfection had bene by the Priesthoode of the Leuites (for vnder it the Lawe was established to the people) what needed it furthermore, that another Priest should rise after the order of Melchi-sedec, and not to be called after the order of Aaron?(Geneva) Hébreux 7:11 Si donc la perfection avait été possible par le sacerdoce Lévitique, -car c'est sur ce sacerdoce que repose la loi donnée au peuple, -qu'était-il encore besoin qu'il parût un autre sacrificateur selon l'ordre de Melchisédek, et non selon l'ordre d'Aaron?(FR) וְאִם תַּכְלִית כָּל־חֵפֶץ נִמְצְאָה בִּכְהֻנַּת בְּנֵי לֵוִי אֲשֶׁר בְּיָמֶיהָ נִתְּנָה הַתּוֹרָה לָעָם מַה־לְּכֹהֵן אַחֵר כִּי יָקוּם עַל־דִּבְרָתִי מַלְכִּי־צֶדֶק וְלֹא יִקָּרֵא עַל־דִּבְרָתִי אַהֲרֹן׃ יא Hebrews Heb 7:11 Now if perfection was through the Levitical priesthood (for on the basis of it the people received the Law), what further need was there for another priest to arise according to the order of Melchizedek, and not be designated according to the order of Aaron? (nasb) ======= Hebrews 7:25 ============ Heb 7:25 Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.(KJV) Hebrews 7:25 Wherefore, hee is able also perfectly to saue them that come vnto God by him, seeing he euer liueth, to make intercession for them.(Geneva) Hébreux 7:25 C'est aussi pour cela qu'il peut sauver parfaitement ceux qui s'approchent de Dieu par lui, étant toujours vivant pour intercéder en leur faveur.(FR) וּבַעֲבוּר זֹאת רַב הוּא לְהוֹשִׁיעַ תְּשׁוּעַת נֶצַח לְכָל־הַבָּאִים עַל־יָדוֹ לֵאלֹהִים כִּי הוּא חַי לָנֶצַח לְהַפְגִּיעַ בַּעֲדָם׃ כה Hebrews Heb 7:25 Therefore He is able also to save forever those who draw near to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them. (nasb) ======= Hebrews 7:26 ============ Heb 7:26 For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;(KJV) Hebrews 7:26 For such an hie Priest it became vs to haue, which is holy, harmelesse, vndefiled, separate from sinners, and made hier then the heauens:(Geneva) Hébreux 7:26 Il nous convenait, en effet, d'avoir un souverain sacrificateur comme lui, saint, innocent, sans tache, séparé des pécheurs, et plus élevé que les cieux,(FR) כִּי טוֹב לָנוּ כֹהֵן גָּדוֹל קָדוֹשׁ כָּמוֹהוּ נְקִי כַפַּיִם וּבַר לְבָב נִבְדָּל מֵחַטָּאִים וְנִשָּׂא מֵעַל הַשָּׁמָיִם׃ כו Hebrews Heb 7:26 For it was fitting for us to have such a high priest, holy, innocent, undefiled, separated from sinners and exalted above the heavens; (nasb) ======= Hebrews 7:27 ============ Heb 7:27 Who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people's: for this he did once, when he offered up himself.(KJV) Hebrews 7:27 Which needeth not daily as those hie Priests to offer vp sacrifice, first for his owne sinnes, and then for the peoples: for that did he once, when he offered vp himselfe.(Geneva) Hébreux 7:27 qui n'a pas besoin, comme les souverains sacrificateurs, d'offrir chaque jour des sacrifices, d'abord pour ses propres péchés, ensuite pour ceux du peuple, -car ceci, il l'a fait une fois pour toutes en s'offrant lui-même.(FR) אֲשֶׁר אֵין־לוֹ חֹק יוֹם יוֹם כַּכֹּהֲנִים הַגְּדוֹלִים לְהַקְרִיב קָרְבָּן בַּתְּחִלָּה עַל־חַטַּאת נַפְשׁוֹ וְאַחֲרֵי־כֵן בְּעַד הָעָם כִּי הִשְׁלִים אֶת־זֹאת בְּפַעַם אַחַת בְּהַקְרִיב אֶת־נַפְשׁוֹ׃ כז Hebrews Heb 7:27 who does not need daily, like those high priests, to offer up sacrifices, first for His own sins and then for the sins of the people, because this He did once for all when He offered up Himself.
