(nasb) ======= Isaiah 2:2 ============ Isa 2:2 And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.(KJV) Isaiah 2:2 It shall be in the last dayes, that the mountaine of the house of the Lorde shalbe prepared in the top of the mountaines, and shall be exalted aboue the hilles, and all nations shall flowe vnto it.(Geneva) Ésaïe 2:2 Il arrivera, dans la suite des temps, Que la montagne de la maison de l'Eternel Sera fondée sur le sommet des montagnes, Qu'elle s'élèvera par-dessus les collines, Et que toutes les nations y afflueront.(FR) 2 ׃2 וְהָיָ֣ה ׀ בְּאַחֲרִ֣ית הַיָּמִ֗ים נָכ֨וֹן יִֽהְיֶ֜ה הַ֤ר בֵּית־יְהוָה֙ בְּרֹ֣אשׁ הֶהָרִ֔ים וְנִשָּׂ֖א מִגְּבָע֑וֹת וְנָהֲר֥וּ אֵלָ֖יו כָּל־הַגּוֹיִֽם׃ Isaiah Isa 2:2 Now it will come about that In the last days The mountain of the house of the Lord Will be established as the chief of the mountains, And will be raised above the hills; And all the nations will stream to it. (nasb) ======= Isaiah 2:3 ============ Isa 2:3 And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.(KJV) Isaiah 2:3 And many people shall go, and say, Come, and let vs go vp to the mountaine of the Lord, to the house of the God of Iaakob, and hee will teach vs his wayes, and we will walke in his paths: for the Lawe shall go foorth of Zion, and the worde of the Lord from Ierusalem,(Geneva) Ésaïe 2:3 Des peuples s'y rendront en foule, et diront: Venez, et montons à la montagne de l'Eternel, A la maison du Dieu de Jacob, Afin qu'il nous enseigne ses voies, Et que nous marchions dans ses sentiers. Car de Sion sortira la loi, Et de Jérusalem la parole de l'Eternel.(FR) 3 ׃2 וְֽהָלְכ֞וּ עַמִּ֣ים רַבִּ֗ים וְאָמְרוּ֙ לְכ֣וּ ׀ וְנַעֲלֶ֣ה אֶל־הַר־יְהוָ֗ה אֶל־בֵּית֙ אֱלֹהֵ֣י יַעֲקֹ֔ב וְיֹרֵ֙נוּ֙ מִדְּרָכָ֔יו וְנֵלְכָ֖ה בְּאֹרְחֹתָ֑יו כִּ֤י מִצִיּוֹן֙ תֵּצֵ֣א תוֹרָ֔ה וּדְבַר־יְהוָ֖ה מִירוּשָׁלָֽ͏ִם׃ Isaiah Isa 2:3 And many peoples will come and say, "Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, To the house of the God of Jacob; That He may teach us concerning His ways And that we may walk in His paths." For the law will go forth from Zion And the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. (nasb) ======= Isaiah 2:4 ============ Isa 2:4 And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.(KJV) Isaiah 2:4 And he shall iudge among the nations, and rebuke many people: they shall breake their swords also into mattocks, and their speares into siethes: nation shall not lift vp a sworde against nation, neither shal they learne to fight any more.(Geneva) Ésaïe 2:4 Il sera le juge des nations, L'arbitre d'un grand nombre de peuples. De leurs glaives ils forgeront des hoyaux, Et de leurs lances des serpes: Une nation ne tirera plus l'épée contre une autre, Et l'on n'apprendra plus la guerre.(FR) 4 ׃2 וְשָׁפַט֙ בֵּ֣ין הַגּוֹיִ֔ם וְהוֹכִ֖יחַ לְעַמִּ֣ים רַבִּ֑ים וְכִתְּת֨וּ חַרְבוֹתָ֜ם לְאִתִּ֗ים וַחֲנִיתֽוֹתֵיהֶם֙ לְמַזְמֵר֔וֹת לֹא־יִשָּׂ֨א ג֤וֹי אֶל־גּוֹי֙ חֶ֔רֶב וְלֹא־יִלְמְד֥וּ ע֖וֹד מִלְחָמָֽה׃ פ Isaiah Isa 2:4 And He will judge between the nations, And will render decisions for many peoples; And they will hammer their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not lift up sword against nation, And never again will they learn war. (nasb) ======= Isaiah 2:6 ============ Isa 2:6 Therefore thou hast forsaken thy people the house of Jacob, because they be replenished from the east, and are soothsayers like the Philistines, and they please themselves in the children of strangers.(KJV) Isaiah 2:6 Surely thou hast forsaken thy people, the house of Iaakob, because they are full of the East maners, and are sorcerers as the Philistims, and abound with strange children.(Geneva) Ésaïe 2:6 Car tu as abandonné ton peuple, la maison de Jacob, Parce qu'ils sont pleins de l'Orient, Et adonnés à la magie comme les Philistins, Et parce qu'ils s'allient aux fils des étrangers.(FR) 6 ׃2 כִּ֣י נָטַ֗שְׁתָּה עַמְּךָ֙ בֵּ֣ית יַעֲקֹ֔ב כִּ֤י מָלְאוּ֙ מִקֶּ֔דֶם וְעֹֽנְנִ֖ים כַּפְּלִשְׁתִּ֑ים וּבְיַלְדֵ֥י נָכְרִ֖ים יַשְׂפִּֽיקוּ׃ Isaiah Isa 2:6 For You have abandoned Your people, the house of Jacob, Because they are filled with influences from the east, And they are soothsayers like the Philistines, And they strike bargains with the children of foreigners. (nasb) ======= Isaiah 2:7 ============ Isa 2:7 Their land also is full of silver and gold, neither is there any end of their treasures; their land is also full of horses, neither is there any end of their chariots:(KJV) Isaiah 2:7 Their land also was full of siluer & golde, and there was none ende of their treasures: and their land was full of horses, and their charets were infinite.(Geneva) Ésaïe 2:7 Le pays est rempli d'argent et d'or, Et il y a des trésors sans fin; Le pays est rempli de chevaux, Et il y a des chars sans nombre.(FR) 7 ׃2 וַתִּמָּלֵ֤א אַרְצוֹ֙ כֶּ֣סֶף וְזָהָ֔ב וְאֵ֥ין קֵ֖צֶה לְאֹצְרֹתָ֑יו וַתִּמָּלֵ֤א אַרְצוֹ֙ סוּסִ֔ים וְאֵ֥ין קֵ֖צֶה לְמַרְכְּבֹתָֽיו׃ Isaiah Isa 2:7 Their land has also been filled with silver and gold And there is no end to their treasures; Their land has also been filled with horses And there is no end to their chariots. (nasb) ======= Isaiah 2:11 ============ Isa 2:11 The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, and the haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, and the LORD alone shall be exalted in that day.(KJV) Isaiah 2:11 The hie looke of man shall be humbled, and the loftinesse of men shalbe abased, and the Lord onely shall be exalted in that day.(Geneva) Ésaïe 2:11 L'homme au regard hautain sera abaissé, Et l'orgueilleux sera humilié: L'Eternel seul sera élevé ce jour-là.(FR) 11 ׃2 עֵינֵ֞י גַּבְה֤וּת אָדָם֙ שָׁפֵ֔ל וְשַׁ֖ח ר֣וּם אֲנָשִׁ֑ים וְנִשְׂגַּ֧ב יְהוָ֛ה לְבַדּ֖וֹ בַּיּ֥וֹם הַהֽוּא׃ ס Isaiah Isa 2:11 The proud look of man will be abased And the loftiness of man will be humbled, And the Lord alone will be exalted in that day. (nasb) ======= Isaiah 2:12 ============ Isa 2:12 For the day of the LORD of hosts shall be upon every one that is proud and lofty, and upon every one that is lifted up; and he shall be brought low:(KJV) Isaiah 2:12 For the day of the Lorde of hostes is vpon all the proude and hautie, and vpon all that is exalted: and it shalbe made lowe.(Geneva) Ésaïe 2:12 Car il y a un jour pour l'Eternel des armées Contre tout homme orgueilleux et hautain, Contre quiconque s'élève, afin qu'il soit abaissé;(FR) 12 ׃2 כִּ֣י י֞וֹם לַיהוָ֧ה צְבָא֛וֹת עַ֥ל כָּל־גֵּאֶ֖ה וָרָ֑ם וְעַ֖ל כָּל־נִשָּׂ֥א וְשָׁפֵֽל׃ Isaiah Isa 2:12 For the Lord of hosts will have a day of reckoning Against everyone who is proud and lofty And against everyone who is lifted up, That he may be abased. (nasb) ======= Isaiah 2:20 ============ Isa 2:20 In that day a man shall cast his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which they made each one for himself to worship, to the moles and to the bats;(KJV) Isaiah 2:20 At that day shall man cast away his siluer idoles, & his golden idoles (which they had made themselues to worship them) to the mowles and to the backes,(Geneva) Ésaïe 2:20 En ce jour, les hommes jetteront Leurs idoles d'argent et leurs idoles d'or, Qu'ils s'étaient faites pour les adorer, Aux rats et aux chauves-souris;(FR) 20 ׃2 בַּיּ֤וֹם הַהוּא֙ יַשְׁלִ֣יךְ הָאָדָ֔ם אֵ֚ת אֱלִילֵ֣י כַסְפּ֔וֹ וְאֵ֖ת אֱלִילֵ֣י זְהָב֑וֹ אֲשֶׁ֤ר עָֽשׂוּ־לוֹ֙ לְהִֽשְׁתַּחֲוֺ֔ת לַחְפֹּ֥ר פֵּר֖וֹת וְלָעֲטַלֵּפִֽים׃ Isaiah Isa 2:20 In that day men will cast away to the moles and the bats Their idols of silver and their idols of gold, Which they made for themselves to worship, (nasb) ======= Isaiah 2:21 ============ Isa 2:21 To go into the clefts of the rocks, and into the tops of the ragged rocks, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake terribly the earth.(KJV) Isaiah 2:21 To goe into the holes of the rockes, and into the toppes of the ragged rockes from before the feare of the Lorde, and from the glory of his maiestie, when he shall rise to destroy the earth.(Geneva) Ésaïe 2:21 Et ils entreront dans les fentes des rochers Et dans les creux des pierres, Pour éviter la terreur de l'Eternel et l'éclat de sa majesté, Quand il se lèvera pour effrayer la terre.(FR) 21 ׃2 לָבוֹא֙ בְּנִקְר֣וֹת הַצֻּרִ֔ים וּבִסְעִפֵ֖י הַסְּלָעִ֑ים מִפְּנֵ֞י פַּ֤חַד יְהוָה֙ וּמֵהֲדַ֣ר גְּאוֹנ֔וֹ בְּקוּמ֖וֹ לַעֲרֹ֥ץ הָאָֽרֶץ׃ Isaiah Isa 2:21 In order to go into the caverns of the rocks and the clefts of the cliffs Before the terror of the Lord and the splendor of His majesty, When He arises to make the earth tremble. (nasb) ======= Isaiah 2:22 ============ Isa 2:22 Cease ye from man, whose breath is in his nostrils: for wherein is he to be accounted of ?(kjv) Isaiah 2:22 Cease you from the man whose breath is in his nostrels: for wherein is he to be esteemed?(Geneva) Ésaïe 2:22 Cessez de vous confier en l'homme, Dans les narines duquel il n'y a qu'un souffle: Car de quelle valeur est-il?(FR) 22 ׃2 חִדְל֤וּ לָכֶם֙ מִן־הָ֣אָדָ֔ם אֲשֶׁ֥ר נְשָׁמָ֖ה בְּאַפּ֑וֹ כִּֽי־בַמֶּ֥ה נֶחְשָׁ֖ב הֽוּא׃ פ Isaiah Isa 2:22 Stop regarding man, whose breath of life is in his nostrils; For why should he be esteemed? (nasb) ======= Isaiah 3:1 ============ Isa 3:1 For, behold, the Lord, the LORD of hosts, doth take away from Jerusalem and from Judah the stay and the staff, the whole stay of bread, and the whole stay of water.(KJV) Isaiah 3:1 For lo, the Lord God of hostes will take away from Ierusalem and from Iudah the stay and the strength: euen all the staye of bread, and all the stay of water,(Geneva) Ésaïe 3:1 Le Seigneur, l'Eternel des armées, Va ôter de Jérusalem et de Juda Tout appui et toute ressource, Toute ressource de pain Et toute ressource d'eau,(FR) |
