(nasb) ======= Isaiah 3:6 ============ Isa 3:6 When a man shall take hold of his brother of the house of his father, saying, Thou hast clothing, be thou our ruler, and let this ruin be under thy hand:(KJV) Isaiah 3:6 When euery one shall take holde of his brother of the house of his father, and say, Thou hast clothing: thou shalt bee our prince, and let this fall be vnder thine hand.(Geneva) Ésaïe 3:6 On ira jusqu'à saisir son frère dans la maison paternelle: Tu as un habit, sois notre chef! Prends ces ruines sous ta main! -(FR) 6 ׃3 כִּֽי־יִתְפֹּ֨שׂ אִ֤ישׁ בְּאָחִיו֙ בֵּ֣ית אָבִ֔יו שִׂמְלָ֣ה לְכָ֔ה קָצִ֖ין תִּֽהְיֶה־לָּ֑נוּ וְהַמַּכְשֵׁלָ֥ה הַזֹּ֖את תַּ֥חַת יָדֶֽךָ׃ Isaiah Isa 3:6 When a man lays hold of his brother in his father's house, saying, "You have a cloak, you shall be our ruler, And these ruins will be under your charge,"(nasb) ======= Isaiah 3:7 ============ Isa 3:7 In that day shall he swear, saying, I will not be an healer; for in my house is neither bread nor clothing: make me not a ruler of the people.(KJV) Isaiah 3:7 In that day hee shall sweare, saying, I cannot bee an helper: for there is no bread in mine house, nor clothing: therefore make me no prince of the people.(Geneva) Ésaïe 3:7 Ce jour-là même il répondra: Je ne saurais être un médecin, Et dans ma maison il n'y a ni pain ni vêtement; Ne m'établissez pas chef du peuple!(FR) 7 ׃3 יִשָּׂא֩ בַיּ֨וֹם הַה֤וּא ׀ לֵאמֹר֙ לֹא־אֶהְיֶ֣ה חֹבֵ֔שׁ וּבְבֵיתִ֕י אֵ֥ין לֶ֖חֶם וְאֵ֣ין שִׂמְלָ֑ה לֹ֥א תְשִׂימֻ֖נִי קְצִ֥ין עָֽם׃ Isaiah Isa 3:7 He will protest on that day, saying, "I will not be your healer, For in my house there is neither bread nor cloak; You should not appoint me ruler of the people."(nasb) ======= Isaiah 3:8 ============ Isa 3:8 For Jerusalem is ruined, and Judah is fallen: because their tongue and their doings are against the LORD, to provoke the eyes of his glory.(KJV) Isaiah 3:8 Doubtlesse Ierusalem is fallen, and Iudah is fallen downe, because their tongue & workes are against the Lord, to prouoke the eyes of his glory.(Geneva) Ésaïe 3:8 Jérusalem chancelle, Et Juda s'écroule, Parce que leurs paroles et leurs oeuvres sont contre l'Eternel, Bravant les regards de sa majesté.(FR) 8 ׃3 כִּ֤י כָשְׁלָה֙ יְר֣וּשָׁלִַ֔ם וִיהוּדָ֖ה נָפָ֑ל כִּֽי־לְשׁוֹנָ֤ם וּמַֽעַלְלֵיהֶם֙ אֶל־יְהוָ֔ה לַמְר֖וֹת עֵנֵ֥י כְבוֹדֽוֹ׃ Isaiah Isa 3:8 For Jerusalem has stumbled and Judah has fallen, Because their speech and their actions are against the Lord, To rebel against His glorious presence. (nasb) ======= Isaiah 3:9 ============ Isa 3:9 The shew of their countenance doth witness against them; and they declare their sin as Sodom, they hide it not. Woe unto their soul! for they have rewarded evil unto themselves.(KJV) Isaiah 3:9 The triall of their countenance testifieth against them, yea, they declare their sinnes as Sodom, they hide them not. Wo be vnto their soules: for they haue rewarded euil vnto themselues.(Geneva) Ésaïe 3:9 L'aspect de leur visage témoigne contre eux, Et, comme Sodome, ils publient leur crime, sans dissimuler. Malheur à leur âme! Car ils se préparent des maux.(FR) 9 ׃3 הַכָּרַ֤ת פְּנֵיהֶם֙ עָ֣נְתָה בָּ֔ם וְחַטָּאתָ֛ם כִּסְדֹ֥ם הִגִּ֖ידוּ לֹ֣א כִחֵ֑דוּ א֣וֹי לְנַפְשָׁ֔ם כִּֽי־גָמְל֥וּ לָהֶ֖ם רָעָֽה׃ Isaiah Isa 3:9 The expression of their faces bears witness against them, And they display their sin like Sodom; They do not even conceal it. Woe to them! For they have brought evil on themselves. Their oppressors are children, And women rule over them. O My people! Those who guide you lead you astray And confuse the direction of your paths. (nasb) ======= Isaiah 3:15 ============ Isa 3:15 What mean ye that ye beat my people to pieces, and grind the faces of the poor? saith the Lord GOD of hosts.(KJV) Isaiah 3:15 What haue ye to do, that ye beate my people to pieces, and grinde the faces of the poore, saith the Lord, euen tho Lord of hostes?(Geneva) Ésaïe 3:15 De quel droit foulez-vous mon peuple, Et écrasez-vous la face des pauvres?
