(nasb) ======= Isaiah 32:5 ============ Isa 32:5 The vile person shall be no more called liberal, nor the churl said to be bountiful.(KJV) Isaiah 32:5 A nigard shall no more be called liberall, nor the churle riche.(Geneva) Ésaïe 32:5 On ne donnera plus à l'insensé le nom de noble, Ni au fourbe celui de magnanime.(FR) 5 ׃32 לֹֽא־יִקָּרֵ֥א ע֛וֹד לְנָבָ֖ל נָדִ֑יב וּלְכִילַ֕י לֹ֥א יֵֽאָמֵ֖ר שֽׁוֹעַ׃ Isaiah Isa 32:5 No longer will the fool be called noble, Or the rogue be spoken of as generous. (nasb) ======= Isaiah 32:6 ============ Isa 32:6 For the vile person will speak villany, and his heart will work iniquity, to practise hypocrisy, and to utter error against the LORD, to make empty the soul of the hungry, and he will cause the drink of the thirsty to fail.(KJV) Isaiah 32:6 But the nigarde will speake of nigardnesse, and his heart will worke iniquitie, and do wickedly, and speake falsely against the Lorde, to make emptie the hungrie soule, and to cause the drinke of the thirstie to faile.(Geneva) Ésaïe 32:6 Car l'insensé profère des folies, Et son coeur s'adonne au mal, Pour commettre l'impiété, Et dire des faussetés contre l'Eternel, Pour laisser à vide l'âme de celui qui a faim, Et enlever le breuvage de celui qui a soif.(FR) 6 ׃32 כִּ֤י נָבָל֙ נְבָלָ֣ה יְדַבֵּ֔ר וְלִבּ֖וֹ יַעֲשֶׂה־אָ֑וֶן לַעֲשׂ֣וֹת חֹ֗נֶף וּלְדַבֵּ֤ר אֶל־יְהוָה֙ תּוֹעָ֔ה לְהָרִיק֙ נֶ֣פֶשׁ רָעֵ֔ב וּמַשְׁקֶ֥ה צָמֵ֖א יַחְסִֽיר׃ Isaiah Isa 32:6 For a fool speaks nonsense, And his heart inclines toward wickedness: To practice ungodliness and to speak error against the Lord, To keep the hungry person unsatisfied And to withhold drink from the thirsty. Hill and watch-tower have become caves forever, A delight for wild donkeys, a pasture for flocks; (nasb) ======= Isaiah 32:15 ============ Isa 32:15 Until the spirit be poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness be a fruitful field, and the fruitful field be counted for a forest.(KJV) Isaiah 32:15 Vntill the Spirit be powred vpon vs from aboue, and the wildernes become a fruitfull fielde, and the plenteous fielde be counted as a forest.(Geneva) Ésaïe 32:15 Jusqu'à ce que l'esprit soit répandu d'en haut sur nous, Et que le désert se change en verger, Et que le verger soit considéré comme une forêt.(FR) 15 ׃32 עַד־יֵ֨עָרֶ֥ה עָלֵ֛ינוּ ר֖וּחַ מִמָּר֑וֹם וְהָיָ֤ה מִדְבָּר֙ לַכַּרְמֶ֔ל *וכרמל **וְהַכַּרְמֶ֖ל לַיַּ֥עַר יֵחָשֵֽׁב׃ Isaiah Isa 32:15 Until the Spirit is poured out upon us from on high, And the wilderness becomes a fertile field, And the fertile field is considered as a forest.
