Ajoutez année à année, Laissez les fêtes accomplir leur cycle.(FR) 1 ׃29 ה֚וֹי אֲרִיאֵ֣ל אֲרִיאֵ֔ל קִרְיַ֖ת חָנָ֣ה דָוִ֑ד סְפ֥וּ שָׁנָ֛ה עַל־שָׁנָ֖ה חַגִּ֥ים יִנְקֹֽפוּ׃ Isaiah Isa 29:1 Woe, O Ariel, Ariel the city where David once camped! Add year to year, observe your feasts on schedule. (nasb) ======= Isaiah 29:2 ============ Isa 29:2 Yet I will distress Ariel, and there shall be heaviness and sorrow: and it shall be unto me as Ariel.(KJV) Isaiah 29:2 But I wil bring the altar into distresse, and there shalbe heauines and sorowe, and it shall be vnto me like an altar.(Geneva) Ésaïe 29:2 Puis j'assiégerai Ariel; Il y aura des plaintes et des gémissements; Et la ville sera pour moi comme un Ariel.(FR) 2 ׃29 וַהֲצִיק֖וֹתִי לַֽאֲרִיאֵ֑ל וְהָיְתָ֤ה תַֽאֲנִיָּה֙ וַֽאֲנִיָּ֔ה וְהָ֥יְתָה לִּ֖י כַּאֲרִיאֵֽל׃ Isaiah Isa 29:2 I will bring distress to Ariel, And she will be a city of lamenting and mourning; And she will be like an Ariel to me. (nasb) ======= Isaiah 29:3 ============ Isa 29:3 And I will camp against thee round about, and will lay siege against thee with a mount, and I will raise forts against thee.(KJV) Isaiah 29:3 And I wil besiege thee as a circle, and fight against thee on a mount, and will cast vp ramparts against thee.(Geneva) Ésaïe 29:3 Je t'investirai de toutes parts, Je te cernerai par des postes armés, J'élèverai contre toi des retranchements.(FR) 3 ׃29 וְחָנִ֥יתִי כַדּ֖וּר עָלָ֑יִךְ וְצַרְתִּ֤י עָלַ֙יִךְ֙ מֻצָּ֔ב וַהֲקֽ͏ִימֹתִ֥י עָלַ֖יִךְ מְצֻרֹֽת׃ Isaiah Isa 29:3 I will camp against you encircling you, And I will set siegeworks against you, And I will raise up battle towers against you. (nasb) ======= Isaiah 29:4 ============ Isa 29:4 And thou shalt be brought down, and shalt speak out of the ground, and thy speech shall be low out of the dust, and thy voice shall be, as of one that hath a familiar spirit, out of the ground, and thy speech shall whisper out of the dust.(KJV) Isaiah 29:4 So shalt thou be humbled, and shalt speake out of the ground, and thy speach shalbe as out of the dust: thy voyce also shall be out of the ground like him that hath a spirite of diuination, and thy talking shall whisper out of the dust.(Geneva) Ésaïe 29:4 Tu seras abaissée, ta parole viendra de terre, Et les sons en seront étouffés par la poussière; Ta voix sortira de terre comme celle d'un spectre, Et c'est de la poussière que tu murmureras tes discours.(FR) 4 ׃29 וְשָׁפַלְתְּ֙ מֵאֶ֣רֶץ תְּדַבֵּ֔רִי וּמֵֽעָפָ֖ר תִּשַּׁ֣ח אִמְרָתֵ֑ךְ וְֽ֠הָיָה כְּא֤וֹב מֵאֶ֙רֶץ֙ קוֹלֵ֔ךְ וּמֵעָפָ֖ר אִמְרָתֵ֥ךְ תְּצַפְצֵֽף׃ Isaiah Isa 29:4 Then you will be brought low; From the earth you will speak, And from the dust where you are prostrate Your words will come. Your voice will also be like that of a spirit from the ground, And your speech will whisper from the dust. (nasb) ======= Isaiah 29:5 ============ Isa 29:5 Moreover the multitude of thy strangers shall be like small dust, and the multitude of the terrible ones shall be as chaff that passeth away: yea, it shall be at an instant suddenly.(KJV) Isaiah 29:5 Moreouer, the multitude of thy strangers shalbe like small dust, and the multitude of strong men shalbe as chaffe that passeth away, and it shal be in a moment, euen suddenly.(Geneva) Ésaïe 29:5 La multitude de tes ennemis sera comme une fine poussière, Cette multitude de guerriers sera comme la balle qui vole, Et cela tout à coup, en un instant.(FR) 5 ׃29 וְהָיָ֛ה כְּאָבָ֥ק דַּ֖ק הֲמ֣וֹן זָרָ֑יִךְ וּכְמֹ֤ץ עֹבֵר֙ הֲמ֣וֹן עָֽרִיצִ֔ים וְהָיָ֖ה לְפֶ֥תַע פִּתְאֹֽם׃ Isaiah Isa 29:5 But the multitude of your enemies will become like fine dust, And the multitude of the ruthless ones like the chaff which blows away; And it will happen instantly, suddenly. (nasb) ======= Isaiah 29:6 ============ Isa 29:6 Thou shalt be visited of the LORD of hosts with thunder, and with earthquake, and great noise, with storm and tempest, and the flame of devouring fire.(KJV) Isaiah 29:6 Thou shalt be visited of the Lord of hostes with thunder, and shaking, and a great noyse, a whirlewinde, and a tempest, and a flame of a deuouring fire.(Geneva) Ésaïe 29:6 C'est de l'Eternel des armées que viendra le châtiment, Avec des tonnerres, des tremblements de terre et un bruit formidable, Avec l'ouragan et la tempête, Et avec la flamme d'un feu dévorant.(FR) 6 ׃29 מֵעִ֨ם יְהוָ֤ה צְבָאוֹת֙ תִּפָּקֵ֔ד בְּרַ֥עַם וּבְרַ֖עַשׁ וְק֣וֹל גָּד֑וֹל סוּפָה֙ וּסְעָרָ֔ה וְלַ֖הַב אֵ֥שׁ אוֹכֵלָֽה׃ Isaiah Isa 29:6 From the Lord of hosts you will be punished with thunder and earthquake and loud noise, With whirlwind and tempest and the flame of a consuming fire. (nasb) ======= Isaiah 29:7 ============ Isa 29:7 And the multitude of all the nations that fight against Ariel, even all that fight against her and her munition, and that distress her, shall be as a dream of a night vision.(KJV) Isaiah 29:7 And the multitude of all the nations that fight against the altar, shalbe as a dreame or vision by night: euen all they that make the warre against it, and strong holdes against it, and lay siege vnto it.(Geneva) Ésaïe 29:7 Et, comme il en est d'un songe, d'une vision nocturne, Ainsi en sera-t-il de la multitude des nations qui combattront Ariel, De tous ceux qui l'attaqueront, elle et sa forteresse, Et qui la serreront de près.(FR) 7 ׃29 וְהָיָ֗ה כַּֽחֲלוֹם֙ חֲז֣וֹן לַ֔יְלָה הֲמוֹן֙ כָּל־הַגּוֹיִ֔ם הַצֹּבְאִ֖ים עַל־אֲרִיאֵ֑ל וְכָל־צֹבֶ֙יהָ֙ וּמְצֹ֣דָתָ֔הּ וְהַמְּצִיקִ֖ים לָֽהּ׃ Isaiah Isa 29:7 And the multitude of all the nations who wage war against Ariel, Even all who wage war against her and her stronghold, and who distress her, Will be like a dream, a vision of the night. (nasb) ======= Isaiah 29:8 ============ Isa 29:8 It shall even be as when an hungry man dreameth, and, behold, he eateth; but he awaketh, and his soul is empty: or as when a thirsty man dreameth, and, behold, he drinketh; but he awaketh, and, behold, he is faint, and his soul hath appetite: so shall the multitude of all the nations be, that fight against mount Zion.(KJV) Isaiah 29:8 And it shalbe like as an hungry man dreameth, and beholde, he eateth: and when he awaketh, his soule is emptie: or like as a thirsty man dreameth, and loe, he is drinking, and when he awaketh, beholde, he is faint, and his soule longeth: so shal the multitude of all nations be that fight against mount Zion.(Geneva) Ésaïe 29:8 Comme celui qui a faim rêve qu'il mange, Puis s'éveille, l'estomac vide, Et comme celui qui a soif rêve qu'il boit, Puis s'éveille, épuisé et languissant; Ainsi en sera-t-il de la multitude des nations Qui viendront attaquer la montagne de Sion.(FR) 8 ׃29 וְהָיָ֡ה כַּאֲשֶׁר֩ יַחֲלֹ֨ם הָרָעֵ֜ב וְהִנֵּ֣ה אוֹכֵ֗ל וְהֵקִיץ֮ וְרֵיקָ֣ה נַפְשׁוֹ֒ וְכַאֲשֶׁ֨ר יַחֲלֹ֤ם הַצָּמֵא֙ וְהִנֵּ֣ה שֹׁתֶ֔ה וְהֵקִיץ֙ וְהִנֵּ֣ה עָיֵ֔ף וְנַפְשׁ֖וֹ שׁוֹקֵקָ֑ה כֵּ֣ן יִֽהְיֶ֗ה הֲמוֹן֙ כָּל־הַגּוֹיִ֔ם הַצֹּבְאִ֖ים עַל־הַ֥ר צִיּֽוֹן׃ ס Isaiah Isa 29:8 It will be as when a hungry man dreams-- And behold, he is eating; But when he awakens, his hunger is not satisfied, Or as when a thirsty man dreams-- And behold, he is drinking, But when he awakens, behold, he is faint And his thirst is not quenched. Thus the multitude of all the nations will be Who wage war against Mount Zion. (nasb) ======= Isaiah 29:9 ============ Isa 29:9 Stay yourselves, and wonder; cry ye out, and cry: they are drunken, but not with wine; they stagger, but not with strong drink.(KJV) Isaiah 29:9 Stay your selues, and wonder: they are blinde, and make you blinde: they are drunken but not with wine: they stagger, but not by strong drinke.(Geneva) Ésaïe 29:9 Soyez stupéfaits et étonnés! Fermez les yeux et devenez aveugles! (nasb) ======= Isaiah 29:10 ============ Isa 29:10 For the LORD hath poured out upon you the spirit of deep sleep, and hath closed your eyes: the prophets and your rulers, the seers hath he covered.(KJV) Isaiah 29:10 For the Lord hath couered you with a spirite of slumber, and hath shut vp your eyes: the Prophets, & your chiefe Seers hath he couered.(Geneva) Ésaïe 29:10 Car l'Eternel a répandu sur vous un esprit d'assoupissement; Il a fermé vos yeux les prophètes, Il a voilé vos têtes les voyants.(FR) 10 ׃29 כִּֽי־נָסַ֨ךְ עֲלֵיכֶ֤ם יְהוָה֙ ר֣וּחַ תַּרְדֵּמָ֔ה וַיְעַצֵּ֖ם אֶת־עֵֽינֵיכֶ֑ם אֶת־הַנְּבִיאִ֛ים וְאֶת־רָאשֵׁיכֶ֥ם הַחֹזִ֖ים כִּסָּֽה׃ Isaiah Isa 29:10 For the Lord has poured over you a spirit of deep sleep, He has shut your eyes, the prophets; And He has covered your heads, the seers. (nasb) ======= Isaiah 29:11 ============ Isa 29:11 And the vision of all is become unto you as the words of a book that is sealed, which men deliver to one that is learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I cannot; for it is sealed:(KJV) Isaiah 29:11 And the vision of them all is become vnto you, as the wordes of a booke that is sealed vp, which they deliuer to one that can reade, saying, Reade this, I pray thee. Then shall he say, I can not: for it is sealed.(Geneva) Ésaïe 29:11 Toute la révélation est pour vous comme les mots d'un livre cacheté Que l'on donne à un homme qui sait lire, en disant: Lis donc cela! Et qui répond: Je ne le puis, Car il est cacheté;(FR) 11 ׃29 וַתְּהִ֨י לָכֶ֜ם חָז֣וּת הַכֹּ֗ל כְּדִבְרֵי֮ הַסֵּ֣פֶר הֶֽחָתוּם֒ אֲשֶֽׁר־יִתְּנ֣וּ אֹת֗וֹ אֶל־יוֹדֵ֥עַ *הספר **סֵ֛פֶר לֵאמֹ֖ר קְרָ֣א נָא־זֶ֑ה וְאָמַר֙ לֹ֣א אוּכַ֔ל כִּ֥י חָת֖וּם הֽוּא׃ Isaiah Isa 29:11 The entire vision will be to you like the words of a sealed book, which when they give it to the one who is literate, saying, "Please read this," he will say, "I cannot, for it is sealed."(nasb) ======= Isaiah 29:12 ============ Isa 29:12 And the book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I am not learned.(KJV) Isaiah 29:12 And the booke is giuen vnto him that can not reade, saying, Reade this, I pray thee; he shall say, I can not reade.(Geneva) Ésaïe 29:12 Ou comme un livre que l'on donne A un homme qui ne sait pas lire, en disant: Lis donc cela! And he will say, "I cannot read."(nasb) ======= Isaiah 29:13 ============ Isa 29:13 Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men:(KJV) Isaiah 29:13 Therefore the Lord sayd, Because this people come neere vnto me with their mouth, and honour me with their lips, but haue remooued their heart farre from me, and their feare toward me was taught by the precept of men,(Geneva) Ésaïe 29:13 Le Seigneur dit: Quand ce peuple s'approche de moi, Il m'honore de la bouche et des lèvres; Mais son coeur est éloigné de moi, Et la crainte qu'il a de moi N'est qu'un précepte de tradition humaine.(FR) 13 ׃29 וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֲדֹנָ֗י יַ֚עַן כִּ֤י נִגַּשׁ֙ הָעָ֣ם הַזֶּ֔ה בְּפִ֤יו וּבִשְׂפָתָיו֙ כִּבְּד֔וּנִי וְלִבּ֖וֹ רִחַ֣ק מִמֶּ֑נִּי וַתְּהִ֤י יִרְאָתָם֙ אֹתִ֔י מִצְוַ֥ת אֲנָשִׁ֖ים מְלֻמָּדָֽה׃ Isaiah Isa 29:13 Then the Lord said, "Because this people draw near with their words And honor Me with their lip service, But they remove their hearts far from Me, And their reverence for Me consists of tradition learned by rote, (nasb) ======= Isaiah 29:14 ============ Isa 29:14 Therefore, behold, I will proceed to do a marvellous work among this people, even a marvellous work and a wonder: for the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hid.(KJV) Isaiah 29:14 Therefore behold, I wil againe doe a marueilous worke in this people, euen a marueilous worke, and a wonder: for the wisdome of their wise men shall perish, and the vnderstanding of their prudent men shalbe hid.(Geneva) Ésaïe 29:14 C'est pourquoi je frapperai encore ce peuple Par des prodiges et des miracles; Et la sagesse de ses sages périra, Et l'intelligence de ses hommes intelligents disparaîtra.(FR) 14 ׃29 לָכֵ֗ן הִנְנִ֥י יוֹסִ֛ף לְהַפְלִ֥יא אֶת־הָֽעָם־הַזֶּ֖ה הַפְלֵ֣א וָפֶ֑לֶא וְאָֽבְדָה֙ חָכְמַ֣ת חֲכָמָ֔יו וּבִינַ֥ת נְבֹנָ֖יו תִּסְתַּתָּֽר׃ ס Isaiah Isa 29:14 Therefore behold, I will once again deal marvelously with this people, wondrously marvelous; And the wisdom of their wise men will perish, And the discernment of their discerning men will be concealed."(nasb) ======= Isaiah 29:15 ============ Isa 29:15 Woe unto them that seek deep to hide their counsel from the LORD, and their works are in the dark, and they say, Who seeth us? and who knoweth us?(KJV) Isaiah 29:15 Wo vnto them that seeke deepe to hide their counsell from the Lorde: for their workes are in darkenes, and they say, Who seeth vs? and who knoweth vs?(Geneva) Ésaïe 29:15 Malheur à ceux qui cachent leurs desseins Pour les dérober à l'Eternel, Qui font leurs oeuvres dans les ténèbres, Et qui disent: Qui nous voit et qui nous connaît?(FR) 15 ׃29 ה֛וֹי הַמַּעֲמִיקִ֥ים מֵֽיהוָ֖ה לַסְתִּ֣ר עֵצָ֑ה וְהָיָ֤ה בְמַחְשָׁךְ֙ מַֽעֲשֵׂיהֶ֔ם וַיֹּ֣אמְר֔וּ מִ֥י רֹאֵ֖נוּ וּמִ֥י יוֹדְעֵֽנוּ׃ Isaiah Isa 29:15 Woe to those who deeply hide their plans from the Lord, And whose deeds are done in a dark place, And they say, "Who sees us?" or "Who knows us?"(nasb) ======= Isaiah 29:16 ============ Isa 29:16 Surely your turning of things upside down shall be esteemed as the potter's clay: for shall the work say of him that made it, He made me not? or shall the thing framed say of him that framed it, He had no understanding?(KJV) Isaiah 29:16 Your turning of deuises shal it not be esteemed as the potters clay? for shall the worke say of him that made it, Hee made me not? or the thing formed, say of him that facioned it, He had none vnderstanding?(Geneva) Ésaïe 29:16 Quelle perversité est la vôtre! Le potier doit-il être considéré comme de l'argile, Pour que l'ouvrage dise de l'ouvrier: Il ne m'a point fait? Pour que le vase dise du potier: Il n'a point d'intelligence?(FR) 16 ׃29 הַ֨פְכְּכֶ֔ם אִם־כְּחֹ֥מֶר הַיֹּצֵ֖ר יֵֽחָשֵׁ֑ב כִּֽי־יֹאמַ֨ר מַעֲשֶׂ֤ה לְעֹשֵׂ֙הוּ֙ לֹ֣א עָשָׂ֔נִי וְיֵ֛צֶר אָמַ֥ר לְיוֹצְר֖וֹ לֹ֥א הֵבִֽין׃ Isaiah Isa 29:16 You turn things around! Shall the potter be considered as equal with the clay, That what is made would say to its maker, "He did not make me"; Or what is formed say to him who formed it, "He has no understanding"? (nasb) ======= Isaiah 29:17 ============ Isa 29:17 Is it not yet a very little while, and Lebanon shall be turned into a fruitful field, and the fruitful field shall be esteemed as a forest?(KJV) Isaiah 29:17 Is it not yet but a litle while, and Lebanon shall be turned into Carmel? and Carmel shall be counted as a forest?(Geneva) Ésaïe 29:17 Encore un peu de temps, Et le Liban se changera en verger, Et le verger sera considéré comme une forêt.(FR) 17 ׃29 הֲלוֹא־עוֹד֙ מְעַ֣ט מִזְעָ֔ר וְשָׁ֥ב לְבָנ֖וֹן לַכַּרְמֶ֑ל וְהַכַּרְמֶ֖ל לַיַּ֥עַר יֵחָשֵֽׁב׃ Isaiah Isa 29:17 Is it not yet just a little while Before Lebanon will be turned into a fertile field, And the fertile field will be considered as a forest? (nasb) ======= Isaiah 29:18 ============ Isa 29:18 And in that day shall the deaf hear the words of the book, and the eyes of the blind shall see out of obscurity, and out of darkness.(KJV) Isaiah 29:18 And in that day shall the deafe heare the wordes of the booke, and the eyes of the blinde shall see out of obscuritie, and out of darkenesse.(Geneva) Ésaïe 29:18 En ce jour-là, les sourds entendront les paroles du livre; Et, délivrés de l'obscurité et des ténèbres, Les yeux des aveugles verront.(FR) 18 ׃29 וְשָׁמְע֧וּ בַיּוֹם־הַה֛וּא הַחֵרְשִׁ֖ים דִּבְרֵי־סֵ֑פֶר וּמֵאֹ֣פֶל וּמֵחֹ֔שֶׁךְ עֵינֵ֥י עִוְרִ֖ים תִּרְאֶֽינָה׃ Isaiah Isa 29:18 On that day the deaf will hear words of a book, And out of their gloom and darkness the eyes of the blind will see. (nasb) ======= Isaiah 29:19 ============ Isa 29:19 The meek also shall increase their joy in the LORD, and the poor among men shall rejoice in the Holy One of Israel.(KJV) Isaiah 29:19 The meeke in the Lorde shall receiue ioye againe, and the poore men shall reioyce in the holy one of Israel.(Geneva) Ésaïe 29:19 Les malheureux se réjouiront de plus en plus en l'Eternel, Et les pauvres feront du Saint d'Israël le sujet de leur allégresse.(FR) 19 ׃29 וְיָסְפ֧וּ עֲנָוִ֛ים בַּֽיהוָ֖ה שִׂמְחָ֑ה וְאֶבְיוֹנֵ֣י אָדָ֔ם בִּקְד֥וֹשׁ יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל יָגִֽילוּ׃ Isaiah Isa 29:19 The afflicted also will increase their gladness in the Lord, And the needy of mankind will rejoice in the Holy One of Israel. (nasb) ======= Isaiah 29:20 ============ Isa 29:20 For the terrible one is brought to nought, and the scorner is consumed, and all that watch for iniquity are cut off:(KJV) Isaiah 29:20 For the cruel man shal cease, & the scornefull shalbe consumed: and all that hasted to iniquitie, shalbe cut off:(Geneva) Ésaïe 29:20 Car le violent ne sera plus, le moqueur aura fini, Et tous ceux qui veillaient pour l'iniquité seront exterminés,(FR) 20 ׃29 כִּֽי־אָפֵ֥ס עָרִ֖יץ וְכָ֣לָה לֵ֑ץ וְנִכְרְת֖וּ כָּל־שֹׁ֥קְדֵי אָֽוֶן׃ Isaiah Isa 29:20 For the ruthless will come to an end and the scorner will be finished, Indeed all who are intent on doing evil will be cut off; (nasb) ======= Isaiah 29:21 ============ Isa 29:21 That make a man an offender for a word, and lay a snare for him that reproveth in the gate, and turn aside the just for a thing of nought.(KJV) Isaiah 29:21 Which made a man to sinne in ye worde, and tooke him in a snare: which reproued them in the gate, and made the iust to fall without cause.(Geneva) Ésaïe 29:21 Ceux qui condamnaient les autres en justice, Tendaient des pièges à qui défendait sa cause à la porte, Et violaient par la fraude les droits de l'innocent.(FR) 21 ׃29 מַחֲטִיאֵ֤י אָדָם֙ בְּדָבָ֔ר וְלַמּוֹכִ֥יחַ בַּשַּׁ֖עַר יְקֹשׁ֑וּן וַיַּטּ֥וּ בַתֹּ֖הוּ צַדִּֽיק׃ ס Isaiah Isa 29:21 Who cause a person to be indicted by a word, And ensnare him who adjudicates at the gate, And defraud the one in the right with meaningless arguments.
