L'Eternel m'a appelé dès ma naissance, Il m'a nommé dès ma sortie des entrailles maternelles.(FR) 1 ׃49 שִׁמְע֤וּ אִיִּים֙ אֵלַ֔י וְהַקְשִׁ֥יבוּ לְאֻמִּ֖ים מֵרָח֑וֹק יְהוָה֙ מִבֶּ֣טֶן קְרָאָ֔נִי מִמְּעֵ֥י אִמִּ֖י הִזְכִּ֥יר שְׁמִֽי׃ Isaiah Isa 49:1 Listen to Me, O islands, And pay attention, you peoples from afar. The Lord called Me from the womb; From the body of My mother He named Me. (nasb) ======= Isaiah 49:2 ============ Isa 49:2 And he hath made my mouth like a sharp sword; in the shadow of his hand hath he hid me, and made me a polished shaft; in his quiver hath he hid me;(KJV) Isaiah 49:2 And hee hath made my mouth like a sharpe sworde: vnder the shadowe of his hande hath he hid mee, and made me a chosen shafte, and hid me in his quiuer,(Geneva) Ésaïe 49:2 Il a rendu ma bouche semblable à un glaive tranchant, Il m'a couvert de l'ombre de sa main; Il a fait de moi une flèche aiguë, Il m'a caché dans son carquois.(FR) 2 ׃49 וַיָּ֤שֶׂם פִּי֙ כְּחֶ֣רֶב חַדָּ֔ה בְּצֵ֥ל יָד֖וֹ הֶחְבִּיאָ֑נִי וַיְשִׂימֵ֙נִי֙ לְחֵ֣ץ בָּר֔וּר בְּאַשְׁפָּת֖וֹ הִסְתִּירָֽנִי׃ Isaiah Isa 49:2 He has made My mouth like a sharp sword, In the shadow of His hand He has concealed Me; And He has also made Me a select arrow, He has hidden Me in His quiver. (nasb) ======= Isaiah 49:3 ============ Isa 49:3 And said unto me, Thou art my servant, O Israel, in whom I will be glorified.(KJV) Isaiah 49:3 And sayd vnto me, Thou art my seruaunt, Israel, for I will be glorious in thee.(Geneva) Ésaïe 49:3 Et il m'a dit: Tu es mon serviteur, Israël en qui je me glorifierai.(FR) 3 ׃49 וַיֹּ֥אמֶר לִ֖י עַבְדִּי־אָ֑תָּה יִשְׂרָאֵ֕ל אֲשֶׁר־בְּךָ֖ אֶתְפָּאָֽר׃ Isaiah Isa 49:3 He said to Me, "You are My Servant, Israel, In Whom I will show My glory."(nasb) ======= Isaiah 49:4 ============ Isa 49:4 Then I said, I have laboured in vain, I have spent my strength for nought, and in vain: yet surely my judgment is with the LORD, and my work with my God.(KJV) Isaiah 49:4 And I said, I haue labored in vaine: I haue spent my strength in vaine and for nothing: but my iudgement is with the Lorde, and my woorke with my God.(Geneva) Ésaïe 49:4 Et moi j'ai dit: C'est en vain que j'ai travaillé, C'est pour le vide et le néant que j'ai consumé ma force; Mais mon droit est auprès de l'Eternel, Et ma récompense auprès de mon Dieu.(FR) 4 ׃49 וַאֲנִ֤י אָמַ֙רְתִּי֙ לְרִ֣יק יָגַ֔עְתִּי לְתֹ֥הוּ וְהֶ֖בֶל כֹּחִ֣י כִלֵּ֑יתִי אָכֵן֙ מִשְׁפָּטִ֣י אֶת־יְהוָ֔ה וּפְעֻלָּתִ֖י אֶת־אֱלֹהָֽי׃ Isaiah Isa 49:4 But I said, "I have toiled in vain, I have spent My strength for nothing and vanity; Yet surely the justice due to Me is with the Lord, And My reward with My God."(nasb) ======= Isaiah 49:5 ============ Isa 49:5 And now, saith the LORD that formed me from the womb to be his servant, to bring Jacob again to him, Though Israel be not gathered, yet shall I be glorious in the eyes of the LORD, and my God shall be my strength.(KJV) Isaiah 49:5 And now sayeth the Lord, that formed me from the wombe to be his seruaunt, that I may bring Iaakob againe to him (though Israel be not gathered, yet shall I bee glorious in the eyes of the Lord: and my God shall be my strength)(Geneva) Ésaïe 49:5 Maintenant, l'Eternel parle, Lui qui m'a formé dès ma naissance Pour être son serviteur, Pour ramener à lui Jacob, Et Israël encore dispersé; Car je suis honoré aux yeux de l'Eternel, Et mon Dieu est ma force.(FR) 5 ׃49 וְעַתָּ֣ה ׀ אָמַ֣ר יְהוָ֗ה יֹצְרִ֤י מִבֶּ֙טֶן֙ לְעֶ֣בֶד ל֔וֹ לְשׁוֹבֵ֤ב יַֽעֲקֹב֙ אֵלָ֔יו וְיִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל *לא **ל֣וֹ יֵאָסֵ֑ף וְאֶכָּבֵד֙ בְּעֵינֵ֣י יְהוָ֔ה וֵאלֹהַ֖י הָיָ֥ה עֻזִּֽי׃ Isaiah Isa 49:5 And now says the Lord, who formed Me from the womb to be His Servant, To bring Jacob back to Him, so that Israel might be gathered to Him (For I am honored in the sight of the Lord, And My God is My strength), (nasb) ======= Isaiah 49:6 ============ Isa 49:6 And he said, It is a light thing that thou shouldest be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel: I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles, that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth.(KJV) Isaiah 49:6 And hee sayde, It is a small thing that thou shouldest be my seruaunt, to raise vp the tribes of Iaakob, and to restore the desolations of Israel: I will also giue thee for a light of the Gentiles, that thou maiest bee my saluation vnto the ende of the worlde.(Geneva) Ésaïe 49:6 Il dit: C'est peu que tu sois mon serviteur Pour relever les tribus de Jacob Et pour ramener les restes d'Israël: Je t'établis pour être la lumière des nations, Pour porter mon salut jusqu'aux extrémités de la terre.(FR) 6 ׃49 וַיֹּ֗אמֶר נָקֵ֨ל מִֽהְיוֹתְךָ֥ לִי֙ עֶ֔בֶד לְהָקִים֙ אֶת־שִׁבְטֵ֣י יַעֲקֹ֔ב *ונצירי **וּנְצוּרֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל לְהָשִׁ֑יב וּנְתַתִּ֙יךָ֙ לְא֣וֹר גּוֹיִ֔ם לִֽהְי֥וֹת יְשׁוּעָתִ֖י עַד־קְצֵ֥ה הָאָֽרֶץ׃ ס Isaiah Isa 49:6 He says, "It is too small a thing that You should be My Servant To raise up the tribes of Jacob and to restore the preserved ones of Israel; I will also make You a light of the nations So that My salvation may reach to the end of the earth."(nasb) ======= Isaiah 49:7 ============ Isa 49:7 Thus saith the LORD, the Redeemer of Israel, and his Holy One, to him whom man despiseth, to him whom the nation abhorreth, to a servant of rulers, Kings shall see and arise, princes also shall worship, because of the LORD that is faithful, and the Holy One of Israel, and he shall choose thee.(KJV) Isaiah 49:7 Thus sayeth the Lorde the redeemer of Israel, and his Holie one, to him that is despised in soule, to a nation that is abhorred, to a seruaunt of rulers, Kinges shall see, and arise, and princes shall worship, because of the Lord, that is faithfull: and ye Holy one of Israel, which hath chosen thee.(Geneva) Ésaïe 49:7 Ainsi parle l'Eternel, le rédempteur, le Saint d'Israël, A celui qu'on méprise, qui est en horreur au peuple, A l'esclave des puissants: Des rois le verront, et ils se lèveront, Des princes, et ils se prosterneront, A cause de l'Eternel, qui est fidèle, Du Saint d'Israël, qui t'a choisi.(FR) 7 ׃49 כֹּ֣ה אָֽמַר־יְהוָה֩ גֹּאֵ֨ל יִשְׂרָאֵ֜ל קְדוֹשׁ֗וֹ לִבְזֹה־נֶ֜פֶשׁ לִמְתָ֤עֵֽב גּוֹי֙ לְעֶ֣בֶד מֹשְׁלִ֔ים מְלָכִים֙ יִרְא֣וּ וָקָ֔מוּ שָׂרִ֖ים וְיִֽשְׁתַּחֲוּ֑וּ לְמַ֤עַן יְהוָה֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר נֶאֱמָ֔ן קְדֹ֥שׁ יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל וַיִּבְחָרֶֽךָּ׃ Isaiah Isa 49:7 Thus says the Lord, the Redeemer of Israel and its Holy One, To the despised One, To the One abhorred by the nation, To the Servant of rulers, "Kings will see and arise, Princes will also bow down, Because of the Lord who is faithful, the Holy One of Israel who has chosen You."(nasb) ======= Isaiah 49:8 ============ Isa 49:8 Thus saith the LORD, In an acceptable time have I heard thee, and in a day of salvation have I helped thee: and I will preserve thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, to establish the earth, to cause to inherit the desolate heritages;(KJV) Isaiah 49:8 Thus sayeth the Lorde, In an acceptable time haue I heard thee, and in a day of saluation haue I helped thee: and I will preserue thee, & wil giue thee for a couenant of ye people, that thou maiest raise vp the earth, and obtaine the inheritance of the desolate heritages:(Geneva) Ésaïe 49:8 Ainsi parle l'Eternel: Au temps de la grâce je t'exaucerai, Et au jour du salut je te secourrai; Je te garderai, et je t'établirai pour traiter alliance avec le peuple, Pour relever le pays, Et pour distribuer les héritages désolés;(FR) 8 ׃49 כֹּ֣ה ׀ אָמַ֣ר יְהוָ֗ה בְּעֵ֤ת רָצוֹן֙ עֲנִיתִ֔יךָ וּבְי֥וֹם יְשׁוּעָ֖ה עֲזַרְתִּ֑יךָ וְאֶצָּרְךָ֗ וְאֶתֶּנְךָ֙ לִבְרִ֣ית עָ֔ם לְהָקִ֣ים אֶ֔רֶץ לְהַנְחִ֖יל נְחָל֥וֹת שֹׁמֵמֽוֹת׃ Isaiah Isa 49:8 Thus says the Lord, "In a favorable time I have answered You, And in a day of salvation I have helped You; And I will keep You and give You for a covenant of the people, To restore the land, to make them inherit the desolate heritages; (nasb) ======= Isaiah 49:9 ============ Isa 49:9 That thou mayest say to the prisoners, Go forth; to them that are in darkness, Shew yourselves. They shall feed in the ways, and their pastures shall be in all high places.(KJV) Isaiah 49:9 That thou maiest say to the prisoners, Goe foorth: and to them that are in darkenesse, Shewe your selues: they shall feede in the waies, and their pastures shall bee in all the toppes of the hilles.(Geneva) Ésaïe 49:9 Pour dire aux captifs: Sortez! Et à ceux qui sont dans les ténèbres: Paraissez! Ils paîtront sur les chemins, Et ils trouveront des pâturages sur tous les coteaux.(FR) 9 ׃49 לֵאמֹ֤ר לַֽאֲסוּרִים֙ צֵ֔אוּ לַאֲשֶׁ֥ר בַּחֹ֖שֶׁךְ הִגָּל֑וּ עַל־דְּרָכִ֣ים יִרְע֔וּ וּבְכָל־שְׁפָיִ֖ים מַרְעִיתָֽם׃ Isaiah Isa 49:9 Saying to those who are bound, 'Go forth, 'To those who are in darkness, 'Show yourselves.'Along the roads they will feed, And their pasture will be on all bare heights. (nasb) ======= Isaiah 49:10 ============ Isa 49:10 They shall not hunger nor thirst; neither shall the heat nor sun smite them: for he that hath mercy on them shall lead them, even by the springs of water shall he guide them.(KJV) Isaiah 49:10 They shal not be hungrie, neither shal they be thirstie, neither shall the heat smite them, nor the sunne: for he that hath compassion on them, shall leade them: euen to the springs of waters shal he driue them.(Geneva) Ésaïe 49:10 Ils n'auront pas faim et ils n'auront pas soif; Le mirage et le soleil ne les feront point souffrir; Car celui qui a pitié d'eux sera leur guide, Et il les conduira vers des sources d'eaux.(FR) 10 ׃49 לֹ֤א יִרְעָ֙בוּ֙ וְלֹ֣א יִצְמָ֔אוּ וְלֹא־יַכֵּ֥ם שָׁרָ֖ב וָשָׁ֑מֶשׁ כִּי־מְרַחֲמָ֣ם יְנַהֲגֵ֔ם וְעַל־מַבּ֥וּעֵי מַ֖יִם יְנַהֲלֵֽם׃ Isaiah Isa 49:10 "They will not hunger or thirst, Nor will the scorching heat or sun strike them down; For He who has compassion on them will lead them And will guide them to springs of water. As I live," declares the Lord, "You will surely put on all of them as jewels and bind them on as a bride. (nasb) ======= Isaiah 49:19 ============ Isa 49:19 For thy waste and thy desolate places, and the land of thy destruction, shall even now be too narrow by reason of the inhabitants, and they that swallowed thee up shall be far away.(KJV) Isaiah 49:19 For thy desolations, and thy waste places, and thy land destroied, shall surely be now narow for them that shall dwell in it, and they that did deuoure thee, shalbe farre away.(Geneva) Ésaïe 49:19 Dans tes places ravagées et désertes, Dans ton pays ruiné, Tes habitants seront désormais à l'étroit; Et ceux qui te dévoraient s'éloigneront.(FR) 19 ׃49 כִּ֤י חָרְבֹתַ֙יִךְ֙ וְשֹׁ֣מְמֹתַ֔יִךְ וְאֶ֖רֶץ הֲרִֽסֻתֵ֑יךְ כִּ֤י עַתָּה֙ תֵּצְרִ֣י מִיּוֹשֵׁ֔ב וְרָחֲק֖וּ מְבַלְּעָֽיִךְ׃ Isaiah Isa 49:19 "For your waste and desolate places and your destroyed land" Surely now you will be too cramped for the inhabitants, And those who swallowed you will be far away.
