Today's Date: ======= Isaiah 50:1 ============ Isa 50:1 Thus saith the LORD, Where is the bill of your mother's divorcement, whom I have put away? or which of my creditors is it to whom I have sold you? Behold, for your iniquities have ye sold yourselves, and for your transgressions is your mother put away.(KJV) Isaiah 50:1 Thus sayeth the Lorde, Where is that bill of your mothers diuorcement, whome I haue cast off? or who is the creditour to whome I solde you? Beholde, for your iniquities are yee solde, and because of your transgressions is your mother forsaken.(Geneva) Ésaïe 50:1 Ainsi parle l'Eternel: Où est la lettre de divorce par laquelle j'ai répudié votre mère? Ou bien, auquel de mes créanciers vous ai-je vendus? Voici, c'est à cause de vos iniquités que vous avez été vendus, Et c'est à cause de vos péchés que votre mère a été répudiée.(FR) 1 ׃50 כֹּ֣ה ׀ אָמַ֣ר יְהוָ֗ה אֵ֣י זֶ֠ה סֵ֣פֶר כְּרִית֤וּת אִמְּכֶם֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר שִׁלַּחְתִּ֔יהָ א֚וֹ מִ֣י מִנּוֹשַׁ֔י אֲשֶׁר־מָכַ֥רְתִּי אֶתְכֶ֖ם ל֑וֹ הֵ֤ן בַּעֲוֺנֹֽתֵיכֶם֙ נִמְכַּרְתֶּ֔ם וּבְפִשְׁעֵיכֶ֖ם שֻׁלְּחָ֥ה אִמְּכֶֽם׃ Isaiah Isa 50:1 Thus says the Lord, "Where is the certificate of divorce By which I have sent your mother away? Or to whom of My creditors did I sell you? Behold, you were sold for your iniquities, And for your transgressions your mother was sent away. (nasb) ======= Isaiah 50:2 ============ Isa 50:2 Wherefore, when I came, was there no man? when I called, was there none to answer? Is my hand shortened at all, that it cannot redeem? or have I no power to deliver? behold, at my rebuke I dry up the sea, I make the rivers a wilderness: their fish stinketh, because there is no water, and dieth for thirst.(KJV) Isaiah 50:2 Wherefore came I, & there was no man? I called, & none answered: is mine hand so shortened, that it cannot helpe? or haue I no power to deliuer? Beholde, at my rebuke I drie vp the Sea: I make the floods desert: their fish rotteth for wat of water, and dieth for thirst.(Geneva) Ésaïe 50:2 Je suis venu: pourquoi n'y avait-il personne? J'ai appelé: pourquoi personne n'a-t-il répondu? Ma main est-elle trop courte pour racheter? N'ai-je pas assez de force pour délivrer? Par ma menace, je dessèche la mer, Je réduis les fleuves en désert; Leurs poissons se corrompent, faute d'eau, Et ils périssent de soif.(FR) 2 ׃50 מַדּ֨וּעַ בָּ֜אתִי וְאֵ֣ין אִ֗ישׁ קָרָֽאתִי֮ וְאֵ֣ין עוֹנֶה֒ הֲקָצ֨וֹר קָצְרָ֤ה יָדִי֙ מִפְּד֔וּת וְאִם־אֵֽין־בִּ֥י כֹ֖חַ לְהַצִּ֑יל הֵ֣ן בְּגַעֲרָתִ֞י אַחֲרִ֣יב יָ֗ם אָשִׂ֤ים נְהָרוֹת֙ מִדְבָּ֔ר תִּבְאַ֤שׁ דְּגָתָם֙ מֵאֵ֣ין מַ֔יִם וְתָמֹ֖ת בַּצָּמָֽא׃ Isaiah Isa 50:2 "Why was there no man when I came? When I called, why was there none to answer? Is My hand so short that it cannot ransom? Or have I no power to deliver? Behold, I dry up the sea with My rebuke, I make the rivers a wilderness; Their fish stink for lack of water And die of thirst. (nasb) ======= Isaiah 50:3 ============ Isa 50:3 I clothe the heavens with blackness, and I make sackcloth their covering.(KJV) Isaiah 50:3 I clothe the heauens with darkenesse, and make a sacke their couering.(Geneva) Ésaïe 50:3 Je revêts les cieux d'obscurité, Et je fais d'un sac leur couverture.(FR) 3 ׃50 אַלְבִּ֥ישׁ שָׁמַ֖יִם קַדְר֑וּת וְשַׂ֖ק אָשִׂ֥ים כְּסוּתָֽם׃ ס Isaiah Isa 50:3 "I clothe the heavens with blackness And make sackcloth their covering."(nasb) ======= Isaiah 50:4 ============ Isa 50:4 The Lord GOD hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary: he wakeneth morning by morning, he wakeneth mine ear to hear as the learned.(KJV) Isaiah 50:4 The Lorde God hath giuen me a tongue of the learned, that I shoulde knowe to minister a woord in time to him that is weary: he will raise me vp in the morning: in the morning hee will waken mine eare to heare, as the learned.(Geneva) Ésaïe 50:4 Le Seigneur, l'Eternel, m'a donné une langue exercée, Pour que je sache soutenir par la parole celui qui est abattu; Il éveille, chaque matin, il éveille mon oreille, Pour que j'écoute comme écoutent des disciples.(FR) 4 ׃50 אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהֹוִ֗ה נָ֤תַן לִי֙ לְשׁ֣וֹן לִמּוּדִ֔ים לָדַ֛עַת לָע֥וּת אֶת־יָעֵ֖ף דָּבָ֑ר יָעִ֣יר ׀ בַּבֹּ֣קֶר בַּבֹּ֗קֶר יָעִ֥יר לִי֙ אֹ֔זֶן לִשְׁמֹ֖עַ כַּלִּמּוּדִֽים׃ Isaiah Isa 50:4 The Lord God has given Me the tongue of disciples, That I may know how to sustain the weary one with a word. He awakens Me morning by morning, He awakens My ear to listen as a disciple. Let us stand up to each other; Who has a case against Me? Let him draw near to Me. (nasb) ======= Isaiah 50:9 ============ Isa 50:9 Behold, the Lord GOD will help me; who is he that shall condemn me? lo, they all shall wax old as a garment; the moth shall eat them up.(KJV) Isaiah 50:9 Beholde, the Lord God will helpe me: who is he that can condemne me? loe, they shall waxe olde as a garment: the mothe shall eate them vp.(Geneva) Ésaïe 50:9 Voici, le Seigneur, l'Eternel, me secourra: Qui me condamnera? Behold, they will all wear out like a garment; The moth will eat them. (nasb) ======= Isaiah 50:10 ============ Isa 50:10 Who is among you that feareth the LORD, that obeyeth the voice of his servant, that walketh in darkness, and hath no light? let him trust in the name of the LORD, and stay upon his God.(KJV) Isaiah 50:10 Who is among you that feareth the Lord? let him heare the voyce of his seruant: hee that walketh in darkenesse, and hath no light, let him trust in the Name of the Lorde, and staye vpon his God.(Geneva) Ésaïe 50:10 Quiconque parmi vous craint l'Eternel, Qu'il écoute la voix de son serviteur! Quiconque marche dans l'obscurité et manque de lumière, Qu'il se confie dans le nom de l'Eternel, Et qu'il s'appuie sur son Dieu!(FR) 10 ׃50 מִ֤י בָכֶם֙ יְרֵ֣א יְהוָ֔ה שֹׁמֵ֖עַ בְּק֣וֹל עַבְדּ֑וֹ אֲשֶׁ֣ר ׀ הָלַ֣ךְ חֲשֵׁכִ֗ים וְאֵ֥ין נֹ֙גַהּ֙ ל֔וֹ יִבְטַח֙ בְּשֵׁ֣ם יְהוָ֔ה וְיִשָּׁעֵ֖ן בֵּאלֹהָֽיו׃ Isaiah Isa 50:10 Who is among you that fears the Lord, That obeys the voice of His servant, That walks in darkness and has no light? Let him trust in the name of the Lord and rely on his God. (nasb) ======= Isaiah 50:11 ============ Isa 50:11 Behold, all ye that kindle a fire, that compass yourselves about with sparks: walk in the light of your fire, and in the sparks that ye have kindled. This shall ye have of mine hand; ye shall lie down in sorrow.(kjv) Isaiah 50:11 Beholde, all you kindle a fire, and are compassed about with sparkes: walke in the light of your fire, and in the sparkes that ye haue kindled. This shall ye haue of mine hand: ye shall lye downe in sorowe.(Geneva) Ésaïe 50:11 Voici, vous tous qui allumez un feu, Et qui êtes armés de torches, Allez au milieu de votre feu et de vos torches enflammées! This you will have from My hand: You will lie down in torment.
