Qui a reconnu le bras de l'Eternel?(FR) 1 ׃53 מִ֥י הֶאֱמִ֖ין לִשְׁמֻעָתֵ֑נוּ וּזְר֥וֹעַ יְהוָ֖ה עַל־מִ֥י נִגְלָֽתָה׃ Isaiah Isa 53:1 Who has believed our message? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed? (nasb) ======= Isaiah 53:2 ============ Isa 53:2 For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.(KJV) Isaiah 53:2 But hee shall growe vp before him as a branche, and as a roote out of a dry grounde: he hath neither forme nor beautie: when we shall see him, there shall be no forme that wee should desire him.(Geneva) Ésaïe 53:2 Il s'est élevé devant lui comme une faible plante, Comme un rejeton qui sort d'une terre desséchée; Il n'avait ni beauté, ni éclat pour attirer nos regards, Et son aspect n'avait rien pour nous plaire.(FR) 2 ׃53 וַיַּ֨עַל כַּיּוֹנֵ֜ק לְפָנָ֗יו וְכַשֹּׁ֙רֶשׁ֙ מֵאֶ֣רֶץ צִיָּ֔ה לֹא־תֹ֥אַר ל֖וֹ וְלֹ֣א הָדָ֑ר וְנִרְאֵ֥הוּ וְלֹֽא־מַרְאֶ֖ה וְנֶחְמְדֵֽהוּ׃ Isaiah Isa 53:2 For He grew up before Him like a tender shoot, And like a root out of parched ground; He has no stately form or majesty That we should look upon Him, Nor appearance that we should be attracted to Him. (nasb) ======= Isaiah 53:3 ============ Isa 53:3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.(KJV) Isaiah 53:3 He is despised and reiected of men: he is a man full of sorowes and hath experience of infirmities: we hidde as it were our faces from him: he was despised and we esteemed him not.(Geneva) Ésaïe 53:3 Méprisé et abandonné des hommes, Homme de douleur et habitué à la souffrance, Semblable à celui dont on détourne le visage, Nous l'avons dédaigné, nous n'avons fait de lui aucun cas.(FR) 3 ׃53 נִבְזֶה֙ וַחֲדַ֣ל אִישִׁ֔ים אִ֥ישׁ מַכְאֹב֖וֹת וִיד֣וּעַ חֹ֑לִי וּכְמַסְתֵּ֤ר פָּנִים֙ מִמֶּ֔נּוּ נִבְזֶ֖ה וְלֹ֥א חֲשַׁבְנֻֽהוּ׃ Isaiah Isa 53:3 He was despised and forsaken of men, A man of sorrows and acquainted with grief; And like one from whom men hide their face He was despised, and we did not esteem Him. (nasb) ======= Isaiah 53:4 ============ Isa 53:4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.(KJV) Isaiah 53:4 Surely hee hath borne our infirmities, and caried our sorowes: yet wee did iudge him, as plagued, and smitten of God, and humbled.(Geneva) Ésaïe 53:4 Cependant, ce sont nos souffrances qu'il a portées, C'est de nos douleurs qu'il s'est chargé; Et nous l'avons considéré comme puni, Frappé de Dieu, et humilié.(FR) 4 ׃53 אָכֵ֤ן חֳלָיֵ֙נוּ֙ ה֣וּא נָשָׂ֔א וּמַכְאֹבֵ֖ינוּ סְבָלָ֑ם וַאֲנַ֣חְנוּ חֲשַׁבְנֻ֔הוּ נָג֛וּעַ מֻכֵּ֥ה אֱלֹהִ֖ים וּמְעֻנֶּֽה׃ Isaiah Isa 53:4 Surely our griefs He Himself bore, And our sorrows He carried; Yet we ourselves esteemed Him stricken, Smitten of God, and afflicted. (nasb) ======= Isaiah 53:5 ============ Isa 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.(KJV) Isaiah 53:5 But hee was wounded for our transgressions, hee was broken for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was vpon him, and with his stripes we are healed.(Geneva) Ésaïe 53:5 Mais il était blessé pour nos péchés, Brisé pour nos iniquités; Le châtiment qui nous donne la paix est tombé sur lui, Et c'est par ses meurtrissures que nous sommes guéris.(FR) 5 ׃53 וְהוּא֙ מְחֹלָ֣ל מִפְּשָׁעֵ֔נוּ מְדֻכָּ֖א מֵעֲוֺנֹתֵ֑ינוּ מוּסַ֤ר שְׁלוֹמֵ֙נוּ֙ עָלָ֔יו וּבַחֲבֻרָת֖וֹ נִרְפָּא־לָֽנוּ׃ Isaiah Isa 53:5 But He was pierced through for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; The chastening for our well-being fell upon Him, And by His scourging we are healed. (nasb) ======= Isaiah 53:6 ============ Isa 53:6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.(KJV) Isaiah 53:6 All we like sheepe haue gone astraye: wee haue turned euery one to his owne way, and the Lord hath layed vpon him the iniquitie of vs all.(Geneva) Ésaïe 53:6 Nous étions tous errants comme des brebis, Chacun suivait sa propre voie; Et l'Eternel a fait retomber sur lui l'iniquité de nous tous.(FR) 6 ׃53 כֻּלָּ֙נוּ֙ כַּצֹּ֣אן תָּעִ֔ינוּ אִ֥ישׁ לְדַרְכּ֖וֹ פָּנִ֑ינוּ וַֽיהוָה֙ הִפְגִּ֣יעַ בּ֔וֹ אֵ֖ת עֲוֺ֥ן כֻּלָּֽנוּ׃ Isaiah Isa 53:6 All of us like sheep have gone astray, Each of us has turned to his own way; But the Lord has caused the iniquity of us all To fall on Him. (nasb) ======= Isaiah 53:7 ============ Isa 53:7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.(KJV) Isaiah 53:7 Hee was oppressed and he was afflicted, yet did he not open his mouth: hee is brought as a sheepe to the slaughter, and as a sheepe before her shearer is dumme, so he openeth not his mouth.(Geneva) Ésaïe 53:7 Il a été maltraité et opprimé, Et il n'a point ouvert la bouche, Semblable à un agneau qu'on mène à la boucherie, A une brebis muette devant ceux qui la tondent; Il n'a point ouvert la bouche.(FR) 7 ׃53 נִגַּ֨שׂ וְה֣וּא נַעֲנֶה֮ וְלֹ֣א יִפְתַּח־פִּיו֒ כַּשֶּׂה֙ לַטֶּ֣בַח יוּבָ֔ל וּכְרָחֵ֕ל לִפְנֵ֥י גֹזְזֶ֖יהָ נֶאֱלָ֑מָה וְלֹ֥א יִפְתַּ֖ח פִּֽיו׃ Isaiah Isa 53:7 He was oppressed and He was afflicted, Yet He did not open His mouth; Like a lamb that is led to slaughter, And like a sheep that is silent before its shearers, So He did not open His mouth. (nasb) ======= Isaiah 53:8 ============ Isa 53:8 He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.(KJV) Isaiah 53:8 Hee was taken out from prison, and from iudgement: and who shall declare his age? For he was cut out of the lande of the liuing: for the transgression of my people was he plagued.(Geneva) Ésaïe 53:8 Il a été enlevé par l'angoisse et le châtiment; Et parmi ceux de sa génération, qui a cru Qu'il était retranché de la terre des vivants Et frappé pour les péchés de mon peuple?(FR) 8 ׃53 מֵעֹ֤צֶר וּמִמִּשְׁפָּט֙ לֻקָּ֔ח וְאֶת־דּוֹר֖וֹ מִ֣י יְשׂוֹחֵ֑חַ כִּ֤י נִגְזַר֙ מֵאֶ֣רֶץ חַיִּ֔ים מִפֶּ֥שַׁע עַמִּ֖י נֶ֥גַע לָֽמוֹ׃ Isaiah Isa 53:8 By oppression and judgment He was taken away; And as for His generation, who considered That He was cut off out of the land of the living For the transgression of my people, to whom the stroke was due? (nasb) ======= Isaiah 53:9 ============ Isa 53:9 And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.(KJV) Isaiah 53:9 And he made his graue with the wicked, and with the riche in his death, though hee had done no wickednesse, neither was any deceite in his mouth.(Geneva) Ésaïe 53:9 On a mis son sépulcre parmi les méchants, Son tombeau avec le riche, Quoiqu'il n'eût point commis de violence Et qu'il n'y eût point de fraude dans sa bouche.(FR) 9 ׃53 וַיִּתֵּ֤ן אֶת־רְשָׁעִים֙ קִבְר֔וֹ וְאֶת־עָשִׁ֖יר בְּמֹתָ֑יו עַ֚ל לֹא־חָמָ֣ס עָשָׂ֔ה וְלֹ֥א מִרְמָ֖ה בְּפִֽיו׃ Isaiah Isa 53:9 His grave was assigned with wicked men, Yet He was with a rich man in His death, Because He had done no violence, Nor was there any deceit in His mouth. (nasb) ======= Isaiah 53:10 ============ Isa 53:10 Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.(KJV) Isaiah 53:10 Yet the Lord would breake him, and make him subiect to infirmities: when hee shall make his soule an offring for sinne, he shall see his seede and shall prolong his dayes, and the will of the Lord shall prosper in his hand.(Geneva) Ésaïe 53:10 Il a plu à l'Eternel de le briser par la souffrance... Après avoir livré sa vie en sacrifice pour le péché, Il verra une postérité et prolongera ses jours; Et l'oeuvre de l'Eternel prospérera entre ses mains.(FR) 10 ׃53 וַיהוָ֞ה חָפֵ֤ץ דַּכְּאוֹ֙ הֶֽחֱלִ֔י אִם־תָּשִׂ֤ים אָשָׁם֙ נַפְשׁ֔וֹ יִרְאֶ֥ה זֶ֖רַע יַאֲרִ֣יךְ יָמִ֑ים וְחֵ֥פֶץ יְהוָ֖ה בְּיָד֥וֹ יִצְלָֽח׃ Isaiah Isa 53:10 But the Lord was pleased To crush Him, putting Him to grief; If He would render Himself as a guilt offering, He will see His offspring, He will prolong His days, And the good pleasure of the Lord will prosper in His hand. (nasb) ======= Isaiah 53:11 ============ Isa 53:11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.(KJV) Isaiah 53:11 Hee shall see of the trauaile of his soule, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous seruant iustifie many: for hee shall beare their iniquities.(Geneva) Ésaïe 53:11 A cause du travail de son âme, il rassasiera ses regards; Par sa connaissance mon serviteur juste justifiera beaucoup d'hommes, Et il se chargera de leurs iniquités.(FR) 11 ׃53 מֵעֲמַ֤ל נַפְשׁוֹ֙ יִרְאֶ֣ה יִשְׂבָּ֔ע בְּדַעְתּ֗וֹ יַצְדִּ֥יק צַדִּ֛יק עַבְדִּ֖י לָֽרַבִּ֑ים וַעֲוֺנֹתָ֖ם ה֥וּא יִסְבֹּֽל׃ Isaiah Isa 53:11 As a result of the anguish of His soul, He will see it and be satisfied; By His knowledge the Righteous One, My Servant, will justify the many, As He will bear their iniquities. (nasb) ======= Isaiah 53:12 ============ Isa 53:12 Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.(kjv) Isaiah 53:12 Therefore will I giue him a portion with the great, and he shall deuide the spoyle with the strong, because hee hath powred out his soule vnto death: and he was counted with the transgressers, & he bare the sinne of many, and prayed for the trespassers.(Geneva) Ésaïe 53:12 C'est pourquoi je lui donnerai sa part avec les grands; Il partagera le butin avec les puissants, Parce qu'il s'est livré lui-même à la mort, Et qu'il a été mis au nombre des malfaiteurs, Parce qu'il a porté les péchés de beaucoup d'hommes, Et qu'il a intercédé pour les coupables.(FR) 12 ׃53 לָכֵ֞ן אֲחַלֶּק־ל֣וֹ בָרַבִּ֗ים וְאֶת־עֲצוּמִים֮ יְחַלֵּ֣ק שָׁלָל֒ תַּ֗חַת אֲשֶׁ֨ר הֶעֱרָ֤ה לַמָּ֙וֶת֙ נַפְשׁ֔וֹ וְאֶת־פֹּשְׁעִ֖ים נִמְנָ֑ה וְהוּא֙ חֵטְא־רַבִּ֣ים נָשָׂ֔א וְלַפֹּשְׁעִ֖ים יַפְגִּֽיעַ׃ ס Isaiah Isa 53:12 Therefore, I will allot Him a portion with the great, And He will divide the booty with the strong; Because He poured out Himself to death, And was numbered with the transgressors; Yet He Himself bore the sin of many, And interceded for the transgressors. (nasb) ======= Isaiah 54:1 ============ Isa 54:1 Sing, O barren, thou that didst not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, thou that didst not travail with child: for more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife, saith the LORD.(KJV) Isaiah 54:1 Reioyce, O barren that diddest not beare: breake forth into ioy and reioyce, thou that diddest not trauaile with childe: for the desolate hath moe children then the married wife, sayeth the Lorde.(Geneva) Ésaïe 54:1 Réjouis-toi, stérile, toi qui n'enfantes plus!
