And no one was able to bind him anymore, even with a chain; (nasb) ======= Mark 5:4 ============ Mar 5:4 Because that he had been often bound with fetters and chains, and the chains had been plucked asunder by him, and the fetters broken in pieces: neither could any man tame him.(KJV) Mark 5:4 Because that when hee was often bounde with fetters and chaines, he plucked the chaines asunder, and brake the fetters in pieces, neither could any man tame him.(Geneva) Marc 5:4 Car souvent il avait eu les fers aux pieds et avait été lié de chaînes, mais il avait rompu les chaînes et brisé les fers, et personne n'avait la force de le dompter.(FR) כִּי־פְעָמִים רַבּוֹת נֶאְסַר בְּזִקִּים וּבְכַבְלֵי בַרְזֵל וַיְנַתֵּק אֶת־הַזִּקִּים וְאֶת־הַכְּבָלִים שִׁבֵּר וְלֹא הָיָה לְאֵל יַד־אִישׁ לְכָבְשׁוֹ׃ ד Mark Mar 5:4 because he had often been bound with shackles and chains, and the chains had been torn apart by him and the shackles broken in pieces, and no one was strong enough to subdue him. I adjure thee by God, that thou torment me not.(KJV) Mark 5:7 And cryed with a loude voyce, and saide, What haue I to doe with thee, Iesus the Sonne of the most high God? I will that thou sweare to me by God, that thou torment me not.(Geneva) Marc 5:7 et s'écria d'une voix forte: Qu'y a-t-il entre moi et toi, Jésus, Fils du Dieu Très-Haut? (nasb) ======= Mark 5:12 ============ Mar 5:12 And all the devils besought him, saying, Send us into the swine, that we may enter into them.(KJV) Mark 5:12 And all ye deuils besought him, saying, Send vs into the swine, that we may enter into them.(Geneva) Marc 5:12 Et les démons le prièrent, disant: Envoie-nous dans ces pourceaux, afin que nous entrions en eux.(FR) וַיִּתְחַנְּנוּ־לוֹ לֵאמֹר שַׁלְּחֵנוּ־נָא אֶל־הַחֲזִירִים וְנָבוֹאָה בָּהֶם׃ יב Mark Mar 5:12 The demons implored Him, saying, "Send us into the swine so that we may enter them."(nasb) ======= Mark 5:13 ============ Mar 5:13 And forthwith Jesus gave them leave. And the unclean spirits went out, and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the sea, (they were about two thousand;) and were choked in the sea.(KJV) Mark 5:13 And incontinently Iesus gaue them leaue. Then the vncleane spirites went out, and entred into the swine, and the heard ranne headlong from the high banke into the sea, (and there were about two thousand swine) and they were choked vp in the sea.(Geneva) Marc 5:13 Il le leur permit. Et les esprits impurs sortirent, entrèrent dans les pourceaux, et le troupeau se précipita des pentes escarpées dans la mer: il y en avait environ deux mille, et ils se noyèrent dans la mer.(FR) וַיַּנַּח לָהֶם יֵשׁוּעַ וְהָרוּחוֹת הַטְּמֵאוֹת הָאֵלֶּה יָצְאוּ וַתָּבֹאנָה אֶל־תּוֹךְ הַחֲזִירִים וַיִּשְׁטֹף כָּל־הָעֵדֶר בַּמּוֹרָד אֶל־תּוֹךְ הַיָּם וְהֵם כֻּלָּם כְּאַלְפַּיִם טֻבְּעוּ בַּיָּם׃ יג Mark Mar 5:13 Jesus gave them permission. And coming out, the unclean spirits entered the swine; and the herd rushed down the steep bank into the sea, about two thousand of them; and they were drowned in the sea. (nasb) ======= Mark 5:14 ============ Mar 5:14 And they that fed the swine fled, and told it in the city, and in the country. And they went out to see what it was that was done.(KJV) Mark 5:14 And the swineheards fled, and told it in the citie, and in the countrey, and they came out to see what it was that was done.(Geneva) Marc 5:14 Ceux qui les faisaient paître s'enfuirent, et répandirent la nouvelle dans la ville et dans les campagnes. Les gens allèrent voir ce qui était arrivé.(FR) וְרֹעֵי הַחֲזִירִים נָסוּ וַיַּגִּידוּ אֶת־הַדָּבָר בָּעִיר וּבַשָּׂדֶה וַיֵּצְאוּ בְנֵי הַמָּקוֹם לִרְאוֹת אֵת אֲשֶׁר נִהְיָתָה׃ יד Mark Mar 5:14 Their herdsmen ran away and reported it in the city and in the country. And the people came to see what it was that had happened. (nasb) ======= Mark 5:15 ============ Mar 5:15 And they come to Jesus, and see him that was possessed with the devil, and had the legion, sitting, and clothed, and in his right mind: and they were afraid.(KJV) Mark 5:15 And they came to Iesus, and sawe him that had bene possessed with the deuil, and had the legion, sit both clothed, and in his right minde: and they were afraide.(Geneva) Marc 5:15 Ils vinrent auprès de Jésus, et ils virent le démoniaque, celui qui avait eu la légion, assis, vêtu, et dans son bon sens; et ils furent saisis de frayeur.(FR) וַיָּבֹאוּ אֶל־יֵשׁוּעַ וַיִּרְאוּ אֶת־הָאִישׁ בַּעַל מְעוֹן הַשֵּׁדִים בַּעַל מַחֲנָיִם וְהוּא יֹשֵׁב מְלֻבָּשׁ בְּגָדִים וְדַעְתּוֹ יְשָׁרָה וַיִּירָאוּ׃ טו Mark Mar 5:15 They came to Jesus and observed the man who had been demon-possessed sitting down, clothed and in his right mind, the very man who had had the "legion"; and they became frightened. (nasb) ======= Mark 5:16 ============ Mar 5:16 And they that saw it told them how it befell to him that was possessed with the devil, and also concerning the swine.(KJV) Mark 5:16 And they that saw it, tolde them, what was done to him that was possessed with the deuil, and concerning the swine.(Geneva) Marc 5:16 Ceux qui avaient vu ce qui s'était passé leur racontèrent ce qui était arrivé au démoniaque et aux pourceaux.(FR) וְהָרֹאִים אֶת־הַמַּעֲשֶׂה בְּעֵינֵיהֶם סִפְּרוּ לָהֶם אֶת־אֲשֶׁר נַעֲשָׂה לְבַעַל מְעוֹן הַשֵּׁדִים וּלְעֵדֶר הַחֲזִירִים׃ טז Mark Mar 5:16 Those who had seen it described to them how it had happened to the demon-possessed man, and all about the swine. (nasb) ======= Mark 5:21 ============ Mar 5:21 And when Jesus was passed over again by ship unto the other side, much people gathered unto him: and he was nigh unto the sea.(KJV) Mark 5:21 And when Iesus was come ouer againe by ship vnto the other side, a great multitude gathered together to him, & he was neere vnto the sea.(Geneva) Marc 5:21 Jésus dans la barque regagna l'autre rive, où une grande foule s'assembla près de lui. (nasb) ======= Mark 5:25 ============ Mar 5:25 And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years,(KJV) Mark 5:25 ( And there was a certaine woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelue yeeres,(Geneva) Marc 5:25 Or, il y avait une femme atteinte d'une perte de sang depuis douze ans.(FR) וְאִשָּׁה זָבָה הָיְתָה שָּׁם אֲשֶׁר יְמֵי זוֹבָהּ נִמְשְׁכוּ שְׁתֵּים עֶשְׂרֶה שָׁנָה׃ כה Mark Mar 5:25 A woman who had had a hemorrhage for twelve years, (nasb) ======= Mark 5:26 ============ Mar 5:26 And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse,(KJV) Mark 5:26 And had suffred many things of many physicions, and had spent all that she had, and it auailed her nothing, but she became much worse.(Geneva) Marc 5:26 Elle avait beaucoup souffert entre les mains de plusieurs médecins, elle avait dépensé tout ce qu'elle possédait, et elle n'avait éprouvé aucun soulagement, mais était allée plutôt en empirant.(FR) וְהִיא נָשְׂאָה מַכְאוֹבִים רַבִּים מִידֵי רֹפְאִים שׁוֹנִים וְכֹל אֲשֶׁר־לָהּ פִּזְּרָה בִלְתִּי הוֹעִיל כִּי נִגְעָהּ הָלַךְ הָלוֹךְ וְקָשֶׁה׃ כו Mark Mar 5:26 and had endured much at the hands of many physicians, and had spent all that she had and was not helped at all, but rather had grown worse--(nasb) ======= Mark 5:27 ============ Mar 5:27 When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment.(KJV) Mark 5:27 When she had heard of Iesus, shee came in the preasse behinde, and touched his garment.(Geneva) Marc 5:27 Ayant entendu parler de Jésus, elle vint dans la foule par derrière, et toucha son vêtement.(FR) וַיְהִי כְּשָׁמְעָהּ אֶת־שֵׁמַע יֵשׁוּעַ וַתָּבֹא בְּקֶרֶב הֲמוֹן הָעָם מֵאַחֲרָיו וַתִּגַּע בִּכְנַף בִּגְדוֹ׃ כז Mark Mar 5:27 after hearing about Jesus, she came up in the crowd behind Him and touched His cloak. But when he had put them all out, he taketh the father and the mother of the damsel, and them that were with him, and entereth in where the damsel was lying.(KJV) Mark 5:40 And they laught him to scorne: but hee put them all out, and tooke the father, and the mother of the childe, and them that were with him, and entred in where the childe lay,(Geneva) Marc 5:40 Et ils se moquaient de lui. (which translated means, "Little girl, I say to you, get up!"). (nasb) ======= Mark 5:42 ============ Mar 5:42 And straightway the damsel arose, and walked; for she was of the age of twelve years.
