They aimed bitter speech as their arrow, (nasb) ======= Psalm 64:4 ============ Psa 64:4 That they may shoot in secret at the perfect: suddenly do they shoot at him, and fear not.(KJV) Psalms 64:4 To shoote at the vpright in secrete: they shoote at him suddenly, and feare not.(Geneva) Psaume 64:4 Pour tirer en cachette sur l'innocent; Ils tirent sur lui à l'improviste, et n'ont aucune crainte.(FR) 5 ׃64 לִיר֣וֹת בַּמִּסְתָּרִ֣ים תָּ֑ם פִּתְאֹ֥ם יֹ֝רֻ֗הוּ וְלֹ֣א יִירָֽאוּ׃ Psalms Psa 64:4 To shoot from concealment at the blameless; Suddenly they shoot at him, and do not fear. La pensée intime, le coeur de chacun est un abîme.(FR) 7 ׃64 יַֽחְפְּֽשׂוּ־עוֹלֹ֗ת תַּ֭מְנוּ חֵ֣פֶשׂ מְחֻפָּ֑שׂ וְקֶ֥רֶב אִ֝֗ישׁ וְלֵ֣ב עָמֹֽק׃ Psalms Psa 64:6 They devise injustices, saying, "We are ready with a well-conceived plot"; For the inward thought and the heart of a man are deep.
