Prêtez l'oreille aux paroles de ma bouche!(FR) 1 ׃78 מַשְׂכִּ֗יל לְאָ֫סָ֥ף הַאֲזִ֣ינָה עַ֭מִּי תּוֹרָתִ֑י הַטּ֥וּ אָ֝זְנְכֶ֗ם לְאִמְרֵי פִֽי׃ Psalms Psa 78:1 Listen, O my people, to my instruction; Incline your ears to the words of my mouth. (nasb) ======= Psalm 78:4 ============ Psa 78:4 We will not hide them from their children, shewing to the generation to come the praises of the LORD, and his strength, and his wonderful works that he hath done.(KJV) Psalms 78:4 Wee will not hide them from their children but to the generation to come we wil shewe the praises of the Lord his power also, & his wonderful woorkes that he hath done:(Geneva) Psaume 78:4 Nous ne le cacherons point à leurs enfants; Nous dirons à la génération future les louanges de l'Eternel, Et sa puissance, et les prodiges qu'il a opérés.(FR) 4 ׃78 לֹ֤א נְכַחֵ֨ד ׀ מִבְּנֵיהֶ֗ם לְד֥וֹר אַחֲר֗וֹן מְֽ֭סַפְּרִים תְּהִלּ֣וֹת יְהוָ֑ה וֶעֱזוּז֥וֹ וְ֝נִפְלְאוֹתָ֗יו אֲשֶׁ֣ר עָשָֽׂה׃ Psalms Psa 78:4 We will not conceal them from their children, But tell to the generation to come the praises of the Lord, And His strength and His wondrous works that He has done. (nasb) ======= Psalm 78:5 ============ Psa 78:5 For he established a testimony in Jacob, and appointed a law in Israel, which he commanded our fathers, that they should make them known to their children:(KJV) Psalms 78:5 How he established a testimonie in Iaakob, and ordeined a Law in Israel, which he commaunded our fathers, that they shoulde teache their children:(Geneva) Psaume 78:5 Il a établi un témoignage en Jacob, Il a mis une loi en Israël, Et il a ordonné à nos pères de l'enseigner à leurs enfants,(FR) 5 ׃78 וַיָּ֤קֶם עֵד֨וּת ׀ בְּֽיַעֲקֹ֗ב וְתוֹרָה֮ שָׂ֤ם בְּיִשְׂרָ֫אֵ֥ל אֲשֶׁ֣ר צִ֭וָּה אֶת־אֲבוֹתֵ֑ינוּ לְ֝הוֹדִיעָ֗ם לִבְנֵיהֶֽם׃ Psalms Psa 78:5 For He established a testimony in Jacob And appointed a law in Israel, Which He commanded our fathers That they should teach them to their children, (nasb) ======= Psalm 78:6 ============ Psa 78:6 That the generation to come might know them, even the children which should be born; who should arise and declare them to their children:(KJV) Psalms 78:6 That the posteritie might knowe it, and the children, which should be borne, should stand vp, and declare it to their children:(Geneva) Psaume 78:6 Pour qu'elle fût connue de la génération future, Des enfants qui naîtraient, Et que, devenus grands, ils en parlassent à leurs enfants,(FR) 6 ׃78 לְמַ֤עַן יֵדְע֨וּ ׀ דּ֣וֹר אַ֭חֲרוֹן בָּנִ֣ים יִוָּלֵ֑דוּ יָ֝קֻ֗מוּ וִֽיסַפְּר֥וּ לִבְנֵיהֶֽם׃ Psalms Psa 78:6 That the generation to come might know, even the children yet to be born, That they may arise and tell them to their children, (nasb) ======= Psalm 78:7 ============ Psa 78:7 That they might set their hope in God, and not forget the works of God, but keep his commandments:(KJV) Psalms 78:7 That they might set their hope on God, and not forget the workes of God but keepe his commandements:(Geneva) Psaume 78:7 Afin qu'ils missent en Dieu leur confiance, Qu'ils n'oubliassent pas les oeuvres de Dieu, Et qu'ils observassent ses commandements,(FR) 7 ׃78 וְיָשִׂ֥ימוּ בֵֽאלֹהִ֗ים כִּ֫סְלָ֥ם וְלֹ֣א יִ֭שְׁכְּחוּ מַֽעַלְלֵי אֵ֑ל וּמִצְוֺתָ֥יו יִנְצֹֽרוּ׃ Psalms Psa 78:7 That they should put their confidence in God And not forget the works of God, But keep His commandments, (nasb) ======= Psalm 78:8 ============ Psa 78:8 And might not be as their fathers, a stubborn and rebellious generation; a generation that set not their heart aright, and whose spirit was not stedfast with God.(KJV) Psalms 78:8 And not to bee as their fathers, a disobedient & rebellious generation: a generation that set not their heart aright, and whose spirite was not faithfull vnto God.(Geneva) Psaume 78:8 Afin qu'ils ne fussent pas, comme leurs pères, Une race indocile et rebelle, Une race dont le coeur n'était pas ferme, Et dont l'esprit n'était pas fidèle à Dieu.(FR) 8 ׃78 וְלֹ֤א יִהְי֨וּ ׀ כַּאֲבוֹתָ֗ם דּוֹר֮ סוֹרֵ֢ר וּמֹ֫רֶ֥ה דּ֭וֹר לֹא־הֵכִ֣ין לִבּ֑וֹ וְלֹא־נֶאֶמְנָ֖ה אֶת־אֵ֣ל רוּחֽוֹ׃ Psalms Psa 78:8 And not be like their fathers, A stubborn and rebellious generation, A generation that did not prepare its heart And whose spirit was not faithful to God. (nasb) ======= Psalm 78:15 ============ Psa 78:15 He clave the rocks in the wilderness, and gave them drink as out of the great depths.(KJV) Psalms 78:15 He claue the rockes in the wildernes, and gaue them drinke as of the great depths.(Geneva) Psaume 78:15 Il fendit des rochers dans le désert, Et il donna à boire comme des flots abondants;(FR) 15 ׃78 יְבַקַּ֣ע צֻ֭רִים בַּמִּדְבָּ֑ר וַ֝יַּ֗שְׁקְ כִּתְהֹמ֥וֹת רַבָּֽה׃ Psalms Psa 78:15 He split the rocks in the wilderness And gave them abundant drink like the ocean depths. (nasb) ======= Psalm 78:16 ============ Psa 78:16 He brought streams also out of the rock, and caused waters to run down like rivers.(KJV) Psalms 78:16 He brought floods also out of the stonie rocke; so that hee made the waters to descend like the riuers.(Geneva) Psaume 78:16 Du rocher il fit jaillir des sources, Et couler des eaux comme des fleuves.(FR) 16 ׃78 וַיּוֹצִ֣א נוֹזְלִ֣ים מִסָּ֑לַע וַיּ֖וֹרֶד כַּנְּהָר֣וֹת מָֽיִם׃ Psalms Psa 78:16 He brought forth streams also from the rock And caused waters to run down like rivers. (nasb) ======= Psalm 78:17 ============ Psa 78:17 And they sinned yet more against him by provoking the most High in the wilderness.(KJV) Psalms 78:17 Yet they sinned stil against him, and prouoked the Highest in the wildernesse,(Geneva) Psaume 78:17 Mais ils continuèrent à pécher contre lui, A se révolter contre le Très-Haut dans le désert.(FR) 17 ׃78 וַיּוֹסִ֣יפוּ ע֖[d]וֹד לַחֲטֹא־ל֑וֹ לַֽמְר֥וֹת עֶ֝לְי֗וֹן בַּצִּיָּֽה׃ Psalms Psa 78:17 Yet they still continued to sin against Him, To rebel against the Most High in the desert. (nasb) ======= Psalm 78:18 ============ Psa 78:18 And they tempted God in their heart by asking meat for their lust.(KJV) Psalms 78:18 And tempted God in their heartes in requiring meate for their lust.(Geneva) Psaume 78:18 Ils tentèrent Dieu dans leur coeur, En demandant de la nourriture selon leur désir.(FR) 18 ׃78 וַיְנַסּוּ־אֵ֥ל בִּלְבָבָ֑ם לִֽשְׁאָל־אֹ֥כֶל לְנַפְשָֽׁם׃ Psalms Psa 78:18 And in their heart they put God to the test By asking food according to their desire. (nasb) ======= Psalm 78:19 ============ Psa 78:19 Yea, they spake against God; they said, Can God furnish a table in the wilderness?(KJV) Psalms 78:19 They spake against God also, saying, Can God prepare a table in the wildernesse?(Geneva) Psaume 78:19 Ils parlèrent contre Dieu, Ils dirent: Dieu pourrait-il Dresser une table dans le désert?(FR) 19 ׃78 וַֽיְדַבְּר֗וּ בֵּֽאלֹ֫הִ֥ים אָ֭מְרוּ הֲי֣וּכַל אֵ֑ל לַעֲרֹ֥ךְ שֻׁ֝לְחָ֗ן בַּמִּדְבָּֽר׃ Psalms Psa 78:19 Then they spoke against God; They said, "Can God prepare a table in the wilderness? (nasb) ======= Psalm 78:20 ============ Psa 78:20 Behold, he smote the rock, that the waters gushed out, and the streams overflowed; can he give bread also? can he provide flesh for his people?(KJV) Psalms 78:20 Behold, he smote the rocke, that the water gushed out, and the streames ouerflowed: can hee giue bread also? or prepare flesh for his people?(Geneva) Psaume 78:20 Voici, il a frappé le rocher, et des eaux ont coulé, Et des torrents se sont répandus; Pourra-t-il aussi donner du pain, Ou fournir de la viande à son peuple?(FR) 20 ׃78 הֵ֤ן הִכָּה־צ֨וּר ׀ וַיָּז֣וּבוּ מַיִם֮ וּנְחָלִ֢ים יִ֫שְׁטֹ֥פוּ הֲגַם־לֶ֭חֶם י֣וּכַל תֵּ֑ת אִם־יָכִ֖ין שְׁאֵ֣ר לְעַמּֽוֹ׃ Psalms Psa 78:20 "Behold, He struck the rock so that waters gushed out, And streams were overflowing; Can He give bread also? Will He provide meat for His people?"(nasb) ======= Psalm 78:21 ============ Psa 78:21 Therefore the LORD heard this, and was wroth: so a fire was kindled against Jacob, and anger also came up against Israel;(KJV) Psalms 78:21 Therefore the Lord heard and was angrie, and the fire was kindled in Iaakob, & also wrath came vpon Israel,(Geneva) Psaume 78:21 L'Eternel entendit, et il fut irrité; Un feu s'alluma contre Jacob, Et la colère s'éleva contre Israël,(FR) 21 ׃78 לָכֵ֤ן ׀ שָׁמַ֥ע יְהוָ֗ה וַֽיִּתְעַבָּ֥ר וְ֭אֵשׁ נִשְּׂקָ֣ה בְיַעֲקֹ֑ב וְגַם־אַ֝֗ף עָלָ֥ה בְיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ Psalms Psa 78:21 Therefore the Lord heard and was full of wrath; And a fire was kindled against Jacob And anger also mounted against Israel, (nasb) ======= Psalm 78:22 ============ Psa 78:22 Because they believed not in God, and trusted not in his salvation:(KJV) Psalms 78:22 Because they beleeued not in God, and trusted not in his helpe.(Geneva) Psaume 78:22 Parce qu'ils ne crurent pas en Dieu, Parce qu'ils n'eurent pas confiance dans son secours.(FR) 22 ׃78 כִּ֤י לֹ֣א הֶ֭אֱמִינוּ בֵּאלֹהִ֑ים וְלֹ֥א בָ֝טְח֗וּ בִּֽישׁוּעָתֽוֹ׃ Psalms Psa 78:22 Because they did not believe in God And did not trust in His salvation. (nasb) ======= Psalm 78:23 ============ Psa 78:23 Though he had commanded the clouds from above, and opened the doors of heaven,(KJV) Psalms 78:23 Yet he had comanded the clouds aboue, and had opened the doores of heauen,(Geneva) Psaume 78:23 Il commanda aux nuages d'en haut, Et il ouvrit les portes des cieux;(FR) 23 ׃78 וַיְצַ֣ו שְׁחָקִ֣ים מִמָּ֑עַל וְדַלְתֵ֖י שָׁמַ֣יִם פָּתָֽח׃ Psalms Psa 78:23 Yet He commanded the clouds above And opened the doors of heaven; (nasb) ======= Psalm 78:24 ============ Psa 78:24 And had rained down manna upon them to eat, and had given them of the corn of heaven.(KJV) Psalms 78:24 And had rained downe MAN vpon them for to eate, and had giuen them of the wheate of heauen.(Geneva) Psaume 78:24 Il fit pleuvoir sur eux la manne pour nourriture, Il leur donna le blé du ciel.(FR) 24 ׃78 וַיַּמְטֵ֬ר עֲלֵיהֶ֣ם מָ֣ן לֶאֱכֹ֑ל וּדְגַן־שָׁ֝מַ֗יִם נָ֣תַן לָֽמוֹ׃ Psalms Psa 78:24 He rained down manna upon them to eat And gave them food from heaven. (nasb) ======= Psalm 78:25 ============ Psa 78:25 Man did eat angels' food: he sent them meat to the full.(KJV) Psalms 78:25 Man did eate the bread of Angels: hee sent them meate ynough.(Geneva) Psaume 78:25 Ils mangèrent tous le pain des grands, Il leur envoya de la nourriture à satiété.(FR) 25 ׃78 לֶ֣חֶם אַ֭בִּירִים אָ֣כַל אִ֑ישׁ צֵידָ֬ה שָׁלַ֖ח לָהֶ֣ם לָשֹֽׂבַע׃ Psalms Psa 78:25 Man did eat the bread of angels; He sent them food in abundance. (nasb) ======= Psalm 78:26 ============ Psa 78:26 He caused an east wind to blow in the heaven: and by his power he brought in the south wind.(KJV) Psalms 78:26 He caused the Eastwinde to passe in the heauen, and through his power he brought in the Southwinde.(Geneva) Psaume 78:26 Il fit souffler dans les cieux le vent d'orient, Et il amena par sa puissance le vent du midi;(FR) 26 ׃78 יַסַּ֣ע קָ֭דִים בַּשָּׁמָ֑יִם וַיְנַהֵ֖ג בְּעֻזּ֣וֹ תֵימָֽן׃ Psalms Psa 78:26 He caused the east wind to blow in the heavens And by His power He directed the south wind. (nasb) ======= Psalm 78:27 ============ Psa 78:27 He rained flesh also upon them as dust, and feathered fowls like as the sand of the sea:(KJV) Psalms 78:27 Hee rained flesh also vpon them as dust, and feathered foule as the sand of the sea.(Geneva) Psaume 78:27 Il fit pleuvoir sur eux la viande comme de la poussière, Et comme le sable des mers les oiseaux ailés;(FR) 27 ׃78 וַיַּמְטֵ֬ר עֲלֵיהֶ֣ם כֶּעָפָ֣ר שְׁאֵ֑ר וּֽכְח֥וֹל יַ֝מִּ֗ים ע֣וֹף כָּנָֽף׃ Psalms Psa 78:27 When He rained meat upon them like the dust, Even winged fowl like the sand of the seas, (nasb) ======= Psalm 78:28 ============ Psa 78:28 And he let it fall in the midst of their camp, round about their habitations.(KJV) Psalms 78:28 And hee made it fall in the middes of their campe euen round about their habitations.(Geneva) Psaume 78:28 Il les fit tomber au milieu de leur camp, Tout autour de leurs demeures.(FR) 28 ׃78 וַ֭יַּפֵּל בְּקֶ֣רֶב מַחֲנֵ֑הוּ סָ֝בִ֗יב לְמִשְׁכְּנֹתָֽיו׃ Psalms Psa 78:28 Then He let them fall in the midst of their camp, Round about their dwellings. (nasb) ======= Psalm 78:29 ============ Psa 78:29 So they did eat, and were well filled: for he gave them their own desire;(KJV) Psalms 78:29 So they did eate and were well filled: for he gaue them their desire.(Geneva) Psaume 78:29 Ils mangèrent et se rassasièrent abondamment: Dieu leur donna ce qu'ils avaient désiré.(FR) 29 ׃78 וַיֹּאכְל֣וּ וַיִּשְׂבְּע֣וּ מְאֹ֑ד וְ֝תַֽאֲוָתָ֗ם יָבִ֥א לָהֶֽם׃ Psalms Psa 78:29 So they ate and were well filled, And their desire He gave to them. (nasb) ======= Psalm 78:30 ============ Psa 78:30 They were not estranged from their lust. But while their meat was yet in their mouths,(KJV) Psalms 78:30 They were not turned from their lust, but the meate was yet in their mouthes,(Geneva) Psaume 78:30 Ils n'avaient pas satisfait leur désir, Ils avaient encore leur nourriture dans la bouche,(FR) 30 ׃78 לֹא־זָ֥רוּ מִתַּאֲוָתָ֑ם ע֝֗וֹד אָכְלָ֥ם בְּפִיהֶֽם׃ Psalms Psa 78:30 Before they had satisfied their desire, While their food was in their mouths, (nasb) ======= Psalm 78:31 ============ Psa 78:31 The wrath of God came upon them, and slew the fattest of them, and smote down the chosen men of Israel.(KJV) Psalms 78:31 When the wrath of God came euen vpon them, and slew the strongest of them, and smote downe the chosen men in Israel.(Geneva) Psaume 78:31 Lorsque la colère de Dieu s'éleva contre eux; Il frappa de mort les plus vigoureux, Il abattit les jeunes hommes d'Israël.(FR) 31 ׃78 וְאַ֤ף אֱלֹהִ֨ים ׀ עָ֘לָ֤ה בָהֶ֗ם וַֽ֭יַּהֲרֹג בְּמִשְׁמַנֵּיהֶ֑ם וּבַחוּרֵ֖י יִשְׂרָאֵ֣ל הִכְרִֽיעַ׃ Psalms Psa 78:31 The anger of God rose against them And killed some of their stoutest ones, And subdued the choice men of Israel. (nasb) ======= Psalm 78:32 ============ Psa 78:32 For all this they sinned still, and believed not for his wondrous works.(KJV) Psalms 78:32 For all this, they sinned stil, and beleeued not his wonderous woorkes.(Geneva) Psaume 78:32 Malgré tout cela, ils continuèrent à pécher, Et ne crurent point à ses prodiges.(FR) 32 ׃78 בְּכָל־זֹ֥את חָֽטְאוּ־ע֑וֹד וְלֹֽא־הֶ֝אֱמִ֗ינוּ בְּנִפְלְאוֹתָֽיו׃ Psalms Psa 78:32 In spite of all this they still sinned And did not believe in His wonderful works.
