Car je fais venir du septentrion le malheur Et un grand désastre.(FR) 6 ׃4 שְׂאוּ־נֵ֣ס צִיּ֔וֹנָה הָעִ֖יזוּ אַֽל־תַּעֲמֹ֑דוּ כִּ֣י רָעָ֗ה אָנֹכִ֛י מֵבִ֥יא מִצָּפ֖וֹן וְשֶׁ֥בֶר גָּדֽוֹל׃ Jeremiah Jer 4:6 "Lift up a standard toward Zion! Seek refuge, do not stand still, For I am bringing evil from the north, And great destruction. (nasb) ======= Jeremiah 4:7 ============ Jer 4:7 The lion is come up from his thicket, and the destroyer of the Gentiles is on his way; he is gone forth from his place to make thy land desolate; and thy cities shall be laid waste, without an inhabitant.(KJV) Jeremiah 4:7 The lyon is come vp from his denne, and the destroyer of the Gentiles is departed, and gone forth of his place to lay thy land waste, and thy cities shalbe destroyed without an inhabitant.(Geneva) Jérémie 4:7 Le lion s'élance de son taillis, Le destructeur des nations est en marche, il a quitté son lieu, Pour ravager ton pays; Tes villes seront ruinées, il n'y aura plus d'habitants.(FR) 7 ׃4 עָלָ֤ה אַרְיֵה֙ מִֽסֻבְּכ֔וֹ וּמַשְׁחִ֣ית גּוֹיִ֔ם נָסַ֖ע יָצָ֣א מִמְּקֹמ֑וֹ לָשׂ֤וּם אַרְצֵךְ֙ לְשַׁמָּ֔ה עָרַ֥יִךְ תִּצֶּ֖ינָה מֵאֵ֥ין יוֹשֵֽׁב׃ Jeremiah Jer 4:7 "A lion has gone up from his thicket, And a destroyer of nations has set out; He has gone out from his place To make your land a waste. Your cities will be ruins Without inhabitant. Surely You have utterly deceived this people and Jerusalem, saying, 'You will have peace'; whereas a sword touches the throat."(nasb) ======= Jeremiah 4:11 ============ Jer 4:11 At that time shall it be said to this people and to Jerusalem, A dry wind of the high places in the wilderness toward the daughter of my people, not to fan, nor to cleanse,(KJV) Jeremiah 4:11 At that time shall it bee saide to this people and to Ierusalem, A dry winde in the hie places of the wildernes commeth towarde ye daughter of my people, but neither to fanne nor to clense.(Geneva) Jérémie 4:11 En ce temps-là, il sera dit à ce peuple et à Jérusalem: Un vent brûlant souffle des lieux élevés du désert Sur le chemin de la fille de mon peuple, Non pour vanner ni pour nettoyer le grain.(FR) 11 ׃4 בָּעֵ֣ת הַהִ֗יא יֵאָמֵ֤ר לָֽעָם־הַזֶּה֙ וְלִיר֣וּשָׁלִַ֔ם ר֣וּחַ צַ֤ח שְׁפָיִים֙ בַּמִּדְבָּ֔ר דֶּ֖רֶךְ בַּת־עַמִּ֑י ל֥וֹא לִזְר֖וֹת וְל֥וֹא לְהָבַֽר׃ Jeremiah Jer 4:11 In that time it will be said to this people and to Jerusalem," A scorching wind from the bare heights in the wilderness in the direction of the daughter of My people - not to winnow and not to cleanse, (nasb) ======= Jeremiah 4:12 ============ Jer 4:12 Even a full wind from those places shall come unto me: now also will I give sentence against them.(KJV) Jeremiah 4:12 A mightie winde shall come vnto me from those places, and nowe will I also giue sentence vpon them.(Geneva) Jérémie 4:12 C'est un vent impétueux qui vient de là jusqu'à moi. Maintenant, je prononcerai leur sentence.(FR) 12 ׃4 ר֧וּחַ מָלֵ֛א מֵאֵ֖לֶּה יָ֣בוֹא לִ֑י עַתָּ֕ה גַּם־אֲנִ֛י אֲדַבֵּ֥ר מִשְׁפָּטִ֖ים אוֹתָֽם׃ Jeremiah Jer 4:12 a wind too strong for this - will come at My command; now I will also pronounce judgments against them. (nasb) ======= Jeremiah 4:13 ============ Jer 4:13 Behold, he shall come up as clouds, and his chariots shall be as a whirlwind: his horses are swifter than eagles. Woe unto us! for we are spoiled.(KJV) Jeremiah 4:13 Beholde, he shall come vp as the cloudes, and his charets shalbe as a tempest: his horses are lighter then egles. Jusques à quand garderas-tu dans ton coeur tes pensées iniques?(FR) 14 ׃4 כַּבְּסִ֨י מֵרָעָ֤ה לִבֵּךְ֙ יְר֣וּשָׁלִַ֔ם לְמַ֖עַן תִּוָּשֵׁ֑עִי עַד־מָתַ֛י תָּלִ֥ין בְּקִרְבֵּ֖ךְ מַחְשְׁב֥וֹת אוֹנֵֽךְ׃ Jeremiah Jer 4:14 Wash your heart from evil, O Jerusalem, That you may be saved. How long will your wicked thoughts Lodge within you? (nasb) ======= Jeremiah 4:15 ============ Jer 4:15 For a voice declareth from Dan, and publisheth affliction from mount Ephraim.(KJV) Jeremiah 4:15 For a voyce declareth from Dan, and publisheth affliction from mount Ephraim.(Geneva) Jérémie 4:15 Car une voix qui part de Dan annonce la calamité, Elle la publie depuis la montagne d'Ephraïm.(FR) 15 ׃4 כִּ֛י ק֥וֹל מַגִּ֖יד מִדָּ֑ן וּמַשְׁמִ֥יעַ אָ֖וֶן מֵהַ֥ר אֶפְרָֽיִם׃ Jeremiah Jer 4:15 For a voice declares from Dan, And proclaims wickedness from Mount Ephraim. Proclaim over Jerusalem, 'Besiegers come from a far country, And lift their voices against the cities of Judah. (nasb) ======= Jeremiah 4:17 ============ Jer 4:17 As keepers of a field, are they against her round about; because she hath been rebellious against me, saith the LORD.(KJV) Jeremiah 4:17 They haue compassed her about as the watchmen of the fielde, because it hath prouoked me to wrath, saith the Lord.(Geneva) Jérémie 4:17 Comme ceux qui gardent un champ, ils entourent Jérusalem, Car elle s'est révoltée contre moi, dit l'Eternel.(FR) 17 ׃4 כְּשֹׁמְרֵ֣י שָׂדַ֔י הָי֥וּ עָלֶ֖יהָ מִסָּבִ֑יב כִּי־אֹתִ֥י מָרָ֖תָה נְאֻם־יְהוָֽה׃ Jeremiah Jer 4:17 'Like watchmen of a field they are against her round about, Because she has rebelled against Me,' declares the Lord. I am in anguish! Oh, my heart! My heart is pounding in me; I cannot be silent, Because you have heard, O my soul, The sound of the trumpet, The alarm of war. (nasb) ======= Jeremiah 4:20 ============ Jer 4:20 Destruction upon destruction is cried; for the whole land is spoiled: suddenly are my tents spoiled, and my curtains in a moment.(KJV) Jeremiah 4:20 Destruction vpon destruction is cryed, for the whole lande is wasted: suddenly are my tents destroyed, and my curtaines in a moment.(Geneva) Jérémie 4:20 On annonce ruine sur ruine, Car tout le pays est ravagé; Mes tentes sont ravagées tout à coup, Mes pavillons en un instant.(FR) 20 ׃4 שֶׁ֤בֶר עַל־שֶׁ֙בֶר֙ נִקְרָ֔א כִּ֥י שֻׁדְּדָ֖ה כָּל־הָאָ֑רֶץ פִּתְאֹם֙ שֻׁדְּד֣וּ אֹהָלַ֔י רֶ֖גַע יְרִיעֹתָֽי׃ Jeremiah Jer 4:20 Disaster on disaster is proclaimed, For the whole land is devastated; Suddenly my tents are devastated, My curtains in an instant.
