"A man planted a vineyard and put a wall around it, and dug a vat under the wine press and built a tower, and rented it out to vine-growers and went on a journey. And so they left Him and went away. Est-il permis, ou non, de payer le tribut à César?(FR) וַיָּבֹאוּ וַיֹּאמְרוּ אֵלָיו רַבֵּנוּ יָדַעְנוּ כִּי־אִישׁ נֶאֱמָן אַתָּה וְלֹא־תָגוּר מִפְּנֵי אִישׁ כִּי לֹא תִשָּׂא פְּנֵי גֶבֶר וְאֶת־דֶּרֶךְ אֱלֹהִים תּוֹרֶה בְּמֵישָׁרִים הֲנָכוֹן הוּא לָתֵת מַס לַקֵּיסַר אִם־אַיִן הֲנִתֵּן אוֹ לֹא נִתֵּן׃ יד Mark Mar 12:14 They came and said to Him, "Teacher, we know that You are truthful and defer to no one; for You are not partial to any, but teach the way of God in truth. Is it lawful to pay a poll-tax to Caesar, or not? (nasb) ======= Mark 12:15 ============ Mar 12:15 Shall we give, or shall we not give? But he, knowing their hypocrisy, said unto them, Why tempt ye me? bring me a penny, that I may see it.(KJV) Mark 12:15 Should we giue it, or should we not giue it? But he knew their hypocrisie, and said vnto them, Why tempt ye me? Bring me a peny, that I may see it.(Geneva) Marc 12:15 Devons-nous payer, ou ne pas payer? And he saith unto them, Whose is this image and superscription? And they said unto him, Caesar's.(KJV) Mark 12:16 So they brought it, and he said vnto them, Whose is this image and superscription?
