(nasb) ======= Acts 12:7 ============ Act 12:7 And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and a light shined in the prison: and he smote Peter on the side, and raised him up, saying, Arise up quickly. And he said, Go shew these things unto James, and to the brethren. And he said, "Report these things to James and the brethren." Then he left and went to another place. Then he went down from Judea to Caesarea and was spending time there. (nasb) ======= Acts 12:20 ============ Act 12:20 And Herod was highly displeased with them of Tyre and Sidon: but they came with one accord to him, and, having made Blastus the king's chamberlain their friend, desired peace; because their country was nourished by the king's country.(KJV) Acts 12:20 Then Herod was angrie with them of Tyrus and Sidon, but they came all with one accord vnto him, and perswaded Blastus the Kings Chamberlaine, and they desired peace, because their countrey was nourished by the Kings land.(Geneva) Actes 12:20 Hérode avait des dispositions hostiles à l'égard des Tyriens et des Sidoniens. Mais ils vinrent le trouver d'un commun accord; et, après avoir gagné Blaste, son chambellan, ils sollicitèrent la paix, parce que leur pays tirait sa subsistance de celui du roi.(FR) אָז חָרָה אַפּוֹ בַּצֹּרִים וּבַצִּדֹנִים וְהֵם בָּאוּ אֵלָיו בְּלֵב אֶחָד וַיְדַבְּרוּ עַל־לֵב בְּלַסְטוֹס אֲשֶׁר עַל־חֲדַר הַמֶּלֶךְ לְהַפְגִּיעַ בַּעֲדָם וְלַעֲשׂוֹת שָׁלוֹם לָהֶם כִּי מֵאֶרֶץ הַמֶּלֶךְ הוֹצִיאוּ לָהֶם אֶת־שֶׁבֶר רַעֲבוֹן אַרְצוֹתָם׃ כ Acts Act 12:20 Now he was very angry with the people of Tyre and Sidon; and with one accord they came to him, and having won over Blastus the king's chamberlain, they were asking for peace, because their country was fed by the king's country. (nasb) ======= Acts 12:22 ============ Act 12:22 And the people gave a shout, saying, It is the voice of a god, and not of a man.(KJV) Acts 12:22 And the people gaue a shoute, saying, The voyce of God, and not of man.(Geneva) Actes 12:22 Le peuple s'écria: Voix d'un dieu, et non d'un homme!(FR) וַיָּרִיעוּ הָאָם לֵאמֹר קוֹל אֱלֹהִים הוּא וְלֹא קוֹל אָדָם׃ כב Acts Act 12:22 The people kept crying out, "The voice of a god and not of a man!"(nasb) ======= Acts 12:23 ============ Act 12:23 And immediately the angel of the Lord smote him, because he gave not God the glory: and he was eaten of worms, and gave up the ghost.(KJV) Acts 12:23 But immediatly the Angel of the Lorde smote him, because he gaue not glorie vnto God, so that he was eaten of wormes, and gaue vp the ghost.(Geneva) Actes 12:23 Au même instant, un ange du Seigneur le frappa, parce qu'il n'avait pas donné gloire à Dieu.
