My wound is incurable, though I am without transgression.'(nasb) ======= Job 34:7 ============ Job 34:7 What man is like Job, who drinketh up scorning like water?(KJV) Job 34:7 What man is like Iob, that drinketh scornfulnesse like water?(Geneva) Job 34:7 Y a-t-il un homme semblable à Job, Buvant la raillerie comme l'eau,(FR) 7 ׃34 מִי־גֶ֥בֶר כְּאִיּ֑וֹב יִֽשְׁתֶּה־לַּ֥עַג כַּמָּֽיִם׃ Job Job 34:7 "What man is like Job, Who drinks up derision like water, (nasb) ======= Job 34:8 ============ Job 34:8 Which goeth in company with the workers of iniquity, and walketh with wicked men.(KJV) Job 34:8 Which goeth in the companie of them that worke iniquitie, and walketh with wicked men?(Geneva) Job 34:8 Marchant en société de ceux qui font le mal, Cheminant de pair avec les impies?(FR) 8 ׃34 וְאָרַ֣ח לְ֭חֶבְרָה עִם־פֹּ֣עֲלֵי אָ֑וֶן וְ֝לָלֶ֗כֶת עִם־אַנְשֵׁי־רֶֽשַׁע׃ Job Job 34:8 Who goes in company with the workers of iniquity, And walks with wicked men? (nasb) ======= Job 34:9 ============ Job 34:9 For he hath said, It profiteth a man nothing that he should delight himself with God.(KJV) Job 34:9 For he hath saide, It profiteth a man nothing that he should walke with God.(Geneva) Job 34:9 Car il a dit: Il est inutile à l'homme De mettre son plaisir en Dieu.(FR) 9 ׃34 כִּֽי־אָ֭מַר לֹ֣א יִסְכָּן־גָּ֑בֶר בִּ֝רְצֹת֗וֹ עִם־אֱלֹהִֽים׃ Job Job 34:9 "For he has said, 'It profits a man nothing When he is pleased with God.'(nasb) ======= Job 34:10 ============ Job 34:10 Therefore hearken unto me ye men of understanding: far be it from God, that he should do wickedness; and from the Almighty, that he should commit iniquity.(KJV) Job 34:10 Therefore hearken vnto me, ye men of wisedome, God forbid that wickednesse should be in God, and iniquitie in the Almightie.(Geneva) Job 34:10 Ecoutez-moi donc, hommes de sens! And who has laid on Him the whole world? Et condamneras-tu le juste, le puissant,(FR) 17 ׃34 הַאַ֬ף שׂוֹנֵ֣א מִשְׁפָּ֣ט יַחֲב֑וֹשׁ וְאִם־צַדִּ֖יק כַּבִּ֣יר תַּרְשִֽׁיעַ׃ Job Job 34:17 "Shall one who hates justice rule? And will you condemn the righteous mighty One, (nasb) ======= Job 34:18 ============ Job 34:18 Is it fit to say to a king, Thou art wicked? and to princes, Ye are ungodly?(KJV) Job 34:18 Wilt thou say vnto a King, Thou art wicked? or to princes, Ye are vngodly?(Geneva) Job 34:18 Qui proclame la méchanceté des rois Et l'iniquité des princes,(FR) 18 ׃34 הַאֲמֹ֣ר לְמֶ֣לֶךְ בְּלִיָּ֑עַל רָ֝שָׁ֗ע אֶל־נְדִיבִֽים׃ Job Job 34:18 Who says to a king, 'Worthless one, 'To nobles, 'Wicked ones'; (nasb) ======= Job 34:19 ============ Job 34:19 How much less to him that accepteth not the persons of princes, nor regardeth the rich more than the poor? for they all are the work of his hands.(KJV) Job 34:19 How much lesse to him that accepteth not the persons of princes, & regardeth not the rich, more then the poore? for they be all the worke of his handes.(Geneva) Job 34:19 Qui n'a point égard à l'apparence des grands Et ne distingue pas le riche du pauvre, Parce que tous sont l'ouvrage de ses mains?(FR) 19 ׃34 אֲשֶׁ֤ר לֹֽא־נָשָׂ֨א ׀ פְּנֵ֥י שָׂרִ֗ים וְלֹ֣א נִכַּר־שׁ֭וֹעַ לִפְנֵי־דָ֑ל כִּֽי־מַעֲשֵׂ֖ה יָדָ֣יו כֻּלָּֽם׃ Job Job 34:19 Who shows no partiality to princes Nor regards the rich above the poor, For they all are the work of His hands? (nasb) ======= Job 34:20 ============ Job 34:20 In a moment shall they die, and the people shall be troubled at midnight, and pass away: and the mighty shall be taken away without hand.(KJV) Job 34:20 They shall die suddenly, and the people shalbe troubled at midnight, & they shall passe foorth and take away the mightie without hand.(Geneva) Job 34:20 En un instant, ils perdent la vie; Au milieu de la nuit, un peuple chancelle et périt; Le puissant disparaît, sans la main d'aucun homme.(FR) 20 ׃34 רֶ֤גַע ׀ יָמֻתוּ֮ וַחֲצ֢וֹת לָ֥יְלָה יְגֹעֲשׁ֣וּ עָ֣ם וְיַעֲבֹ֑רוּ וְיָסִ֥ירוּ אַ֝בִּ֗יר לֹ֣א בְיָֽד׃ Job Job 34:20 "In a moment they die, and at midnight People are shaken and pass away, And the mighty are taken away without a hand.(nasb) ======= Job 34:21 ============ Job 34:21 For his eyes are upon the ways of man, and he seeth all his goings.(KJV) Job 34:21 For his eyes are vpon the wayes of man, and he seeth all his goings.(Geneva) Job 34:21 Car Dieu voit la conduite de tous, Il a les regards sur les pas de chacun.(FR) 21 ׃34 כִּי־עֵ֭ינָיו עַל־דַּרְכֵי־אִ֑ישׁ וְֽכָל־צְעָדָ֥יו יִרְאֶֽה׃ Job Job 34:21 "For His eyes are upon the ways of a man, And He sees all his steps.(nasb) ======= Job 34:22 ============ Job 34:22 There is no darkness, nor shadow of death, where the workers of iniquity may hide themselves.(KJV) Job 34:22 There is no darkenesse nor shadowe of death, that the workers of iniquitie might be hid therein.(Geneva) Job 34:22 Il n'y a ni ténèbres ni ombre de la mort, Où puissent se cacher ceux qui commettent l'iniquité.(FR) 22 ׃34 אֵֽין־חֹ֭שֶׁךְ וְאֵ֣ין צַלְמָ֑וֶת לְהִסָּ֥תֶר שָׁ֝֗ם פֹּ֣עֲלֵי אָֽוֶן׃ Job Job 34:22 "There is no darkness or deep shadow Where the workers of iniquity may hide themselves.(nasb) ======= Job 34:23 ============ Job 34:23 For he will not lay upon man more than right; that he should enter into judgment with God.(KJV) Job 34:23 For he will not lay on man so much, that he should enter into iudgement with God.(Geneva) Job 34:23 Dieu n'a pas besoin d'observer longtemps, Pour qu'un homme entre en jugement avec lui;(FR) 23 ׃34 כִּ֤י לֹ֣א עַל־אִ֭ישׁ יָשִׂ֣ים ע֑וֹד לַהֲלֹ֥ךְ אֶל־אֵ֝֗ל בַּמִּשְׁפָּֽט׃ Job Job 34:23 "For He does not need to consider a man further, That he should go before God in judgment.(nasb) ======= Job 34:24 ============ Job 34:24 He shall break in pieces mighty men without number, and set others in their stead.(KJV) Job 34:24 He shall breake the mightie without seeking, and shall set vp other in their stead.(Geneva) Job 34:24 Il brise les grands sans information, Et il met d'autres à leur place;(FR) 24 ׃34 יָרֹ֣עַ כַּבִּירִ֣ים לֹא־חֵ֑קֶר וַיַּעֲמֵ֖ד אֲחֵרִ֣ים תַּחְתָּֽם׃ Job Job 34:24 "He breaks in pieces mighty men without inquiry, And sets others in their place.(nasb) ======= Job 34:25 ============ Job 34:25 Therefore he knoweth their works, and he overturneth them in the night, so that they are destroyed.(KJV) Job 34:25 Therefore shall he declare their works: he shall turne the night, & they shalbe destroyed.(Geneva) Job 34:25 Car il connaît leurs oeuvres. Il les renverse de nuit, et ils sont écrasés;(FR) 25 ׃34 לָכֵ֗ן יַ֭כִּיר מַעְבָּֽדֵיהֶ֑ם וְהָ֥פַךְ לַ֝֗יְלָה וְיִדַּכָּֽאוּ׃ Job Job 34:25 "Therefore He knows their works, And He overthrows them in the night, And they are crushed.(nasb) ======= Job 34:26 ============ Job 34:26 He striketh them as wicked men in the open sight of others;(KJV) Job 34:26 He striketh them as wicked men in the places of the seers,(Geneva) Job 34:26 Il les frappe comme des impies, A la face de tous les regards.(FR) 26 ׃34 תַּֽחַת־רְשָׁעִ֥ים סְפָקָ֗ם בִּמְק֥וֹם רֹאִֽים׃ Job Job 34:26 "He strikes them like the wicked In a public place, (nasb) ======= Job 34:27 ============ Job 34:27 Because they turned back from him, and would not consider any of his ways:(KJV) Job 34:27 Because they haue turned backe from him, and would not consider all his wayes:(Geneva) Job 34:27 En se détournant de lui, En abandonnant toutes ses voies,(FR) 27 ׃34 אֲשֶׁ֣ר עַל־כֵּ֭ן סָ֣רוּ מֵֽאַחֲרָ֑יו וְכָל־דְּ֝רָכָ֗יו לֹ֣א הִשְׂכִּֽילוּ׃ Job Job 34:27 Because they turned aside from following Him, And had no regard for any of His ways; (nasb) ======= Job 34:28 ============ Job 34:28 So that they cause the cry of the poor to come unto him, and he heareth the cry of the afflicted.(KJV) Job 34:28 So that they haue caused the voyce of the poore to come vnto him, and he hath heard the cry of the afflicted.(Geneva) Job 34:28 Ils ont fait monter à Dieu le cri du pauvre, Ils l'ont rendu attentif aux cris des malheureux.(FR) 28 ׃34 לְהָבִ֣יא עָ֭לָיו צַֽעֲקַת־דָּ֑ל וְצַעֲקַ֖ת עֲנִיִּ֣ים יִשְׁמָֽע׃ Job Job 34:28 So that they caused the cry of the poor to come to Him, And that He might hear the cry of the afflicted--(nasb) ======= Job 34:29 ============ Job 34:29 When he giveth quietness, who then can make trouble? and when he hideth his face, who then can behold him? whether it be done against a nation, or against a man only:(KJV) Job 34:29 And when he giueth quietnesse, who can make trouble? and when he hideth his face, who can beholde him, whether it be vpon nations, or vpon a man onely?(Geneva) Job 34:29 S'il donne le repos, qui répandra le trouble? S'il cache sa face, qui pourra le voir? Il traite à l'égal soit une nation, soit un homme,(FR) 29 ׃34 וְה֤וּא יַשְׁקִ֨ט ׀ וּמִ֥י יַרְשִׁ֗עַ וְיַסְתֵּ֣ר פָּ֭נִים וּמִ֣י יְשׁוּרֶ֑נּוּ וְעַל־גּ֖וֹי וְעַל־אָדָ֣ם יָֽחַד׃ Job Job 34:29 When He keeps quiet, who then can condemn? And when He hides His face, who then can behold Him, That is, in regard to both nation and man?--(nasb) ======= Job 34:30 ============ Job 34:30 That the hypocrite reign not, lest the people be ensnared.(KJV) Job 34:30 Because the hypocrite doeth reigne, and because the people are snared.(Geneva) Job 34:30 Afin que l'impie ne domine plus, Et qu'il ne soit plus un piège pour le peuple.(FR) 30 ׃34 מִ֭מְּלֹךְ אָדָ֥ם חָנֵ֗ף מִמֹּ֥קְשֵׁי עָֽם׃ Job Job 34:30 So that godless men would not rule Nor be snares of the people.(nasb) ======= Job 34:31 ============ Job 34:31 Surely it is meet to be said unto God, I have borne chastisement, I will not offend any more:(KJV) Job 34:31 Surely it appertaineth vnto God to say, I haue pardoned, I will not destroy.(Geneva) Job 34:31 Car a-t-il jamais dit à Dieu: J'ai été châtié, je ne pécherai plus;(FR) 31 ׃34 כִּֽי־אֶל־אֵ֭ל הֶאָמַ֥ר נָשָׂ֗אתִי לֹ֣א אֶחְבֹּֽל׃ Job Job 34:31 "For has anyone said to God, 'I have borne chastisement; I will not offend anymore; (nasb) ======= Job 34:32 ============ Job 34:32 That which I see not teach thou me: if I have done iniquity, I will do no more.(KJV) Job 34:32 But if I see not, teach thou me: if I haue done wickedly, I will doe no more.(Geneva) Job 34:32 Montre-moi ce que je ne vois pas; Si j'ai commis des injustices, je n'en commettrai plus?(FR) 32 ׃34 בִּלְעֲדֵ֣י אֶ֭חֱזֶה אַתָּ֣ה הֹרֵ֑נִי אִֽם־עָ֥וֶל פָּ֝עַ֗לְתִּי לֹ֣א אֹסִֽיף׃ Job Job 34:32 Teach me what I do not see; If I have done iniquity, I will not do it again'? (nasb) ======= Job 34:33 ============ Job 34:33 Should it be according to thy mind? he will recompense it, whether thou refuse, or whether thou choose; and not I: therefore speak what thou knowest.(KJV) Job 34:33 Wil he performe the thing through thee? for thou hast reproued it, because that thou hast chosen, & not I. now speake what thou knowest.(Geneva) Job 34:33 Est-ce d'après toi que Dieu rendra la justice?
