(nasb) ======= Job 36:1 ============ Job 36:1 Elihu also proceeded, and said,(KJV) Job 36:1 Elihu also proceeded and sayde,(Geneva) Job 36:1 Elihu continua et dit:(FR) 1 ׃36 וַיֹּ֥סֶף אֱלִיה֗וּא וַיֹּאמַֽר׃ Job Job 36:1 Then Elihu continued and said,(nasb) ======= Job 36:2 ============ Job 36:2 Suffer me a little, and I will shew thee that I have yet to speak on God's behalf.(KJV) Job 36:2 Suffer me a litle, and I will instruct thee: for I haue yet to speake on Gods behalfe.(Geneva) Job 36:2 Attends un peu, et je vais poursuivre, Car j'ai des paroles encore pour la cause de Dieu.(FR) 2 ׃36 כַּתַּר־לִ֣י זְ֭עֵיר וַאֲחַוֶּ֑ךָּ כִּ֤י ע֖וֹד לֶאֱל֣וֹהַּ מִלִּֽים׃ Job Job 36:2 "Wait for me a little, and I will show you That there is yet more to be said in God's behalf.(nasb) ======= Job 36:3 ============ Job 36:3 I will fetch my knowledge from afar, and will ascribe righteousness to my Maker.(KJV) Job 36:3 I will fetche my knowledge afarre off, & will attribute rigteousnesse vnto my Maker.(Geneva) Job 36:3 Je prendrai mes raisons de haut, Et je prouverai la justice de mon créateur.(FR) 3 ׃36 אֶשָּׂ֣א דֵ֭עִי לְמֵרָח֑וֹק וּ֝לְפֹעֲלִ֗י אֶֽתֵּֽן־צֶֽדֶק׃ Job Job 36:3 "I will fetch my knowledge from afar, And I will ascribe righteousness to my Maker.(nasb) ======= Job 36:4 ============ Job 36:4 For truly my words shall not be false: he that is perfect in knowledge is with thee.(KJV) Job 36:4 For truely my wordes shall not be false, and he that is perfect in knowledge, speaketh with thee.(Geneva) Job 36:4 Sois-en sûr, mes discours ne sont pas des mensonges, Mes sentiments devant toi sont sincères.(FR) 4 ׃36 כִּֽי־אָ֭מְנָם לֹא־שֶׁ֣קֶר מִלָּ֑י תְּמִ֖ים דֵּע֣וֹת עִמָּֽךְ׃ Job Job 36:4 "For truly my words are not false; One who is perfect in knowledge is with you.(nasb) ======= Job 36:5 ============ Job 36:5 Behold, God is mighty, and despiseth not any: he is mighty in strength and wisdom.(KJV) Job 36:5 Behold, the mighty God casteth away none that is mighty and valiant of courage.(Geneva) Job 36:5 Dieu est puissant, mais il ne rejette personne; Il est puissant par la force de son intelligence.(FR) 5 ׃36 הֶן־אֵ֣ל כַּ֭בִּיר וְלֹ֣א יִמְאָ֑ס כַּ֝בִּ֗יר כֹּ֣חַֽ לֵֽב׃ Job Job 36:5 "Behold, God is mighty but does not despise any; He is mighty in strength of understanding.(nasb) ======= Job 36:6 ============ Job 36:6 He preserveth not the life of the wicked: but giveth right to the poor.(KJV) Job 36:6 He mainteineth not the wicked, but he giueth iudgement to the afflicted.(Geneva) Job 36:6 Il ne laisse pas vivre le méchant, Et il fait droit aux malheureux.(FR) 6 ׃36 לֹא־יְחַיֶּ֥ה רָשָׁ֑ע וּמִשְׁפַּ֖ט עֲנִיִּ֣ים יִתֵּֽן׃ Job Job 36:6 "He does not keep the wicked alive, But gives justice to the afflicted.(nasb) ======= Job 36:7 ============ Job 36:7 He withdraweth not his eyes from the righteous: but with kings are they on the throne; yea, he doth establish them for ever, and they are exalted.(KJV) Job 36:7 He withdraweth not his eyes from the righteous, but they are with Kings in ye throne, where he placeth them for euer: thus they are exalted.(Geneva) Job 36:7 Il ne détourne pas les yeux de dessus les justes, Il les place sur le trône avec les rois, Il les y fait asseoir pour toujours, afin qu'ils soient élevés.(FR) 7 ׃36 לֹֽא־יִגְרַ֥ע מִצַּדִּ֗יק עֵ֫ינָ֥יו וְאֶת־מְלָכִ֥ים לַכִּסֵּ֑א וַיֹּשִׁיבֵ֥ם לָ֝נֶ֗צַח וַיִּגְבָּֽהוּ׃ Job Job 36:7 "He does not withdraw His eyes from the righteous; But with kings on the throne He has seated them forever, and they are exalted.(nasb) ======= Job 36:8 ============ Job 36:8 And if they be bound in fetters, and be holden in cords of affliction;(KJV) Job 36:8 And if they bee bound in fetters and tyed with the cordes of affliction,(Geneva) Job 36:8 Viennent-ils à tomber dans les chaînes, Sont-ils pris dans les liens de l'adversité,(FR) 8 ׃36 וְאִם־אֲסוּרִ֥ים בַּזִּקִּ֑ים יִ֝לָּכְד֗וּן בְּחַבְלֵי־עֹֽנִי׃ Job Job 36:8 "And if they are bound in fetters, And are caught in the cords of affliction,(nasb) ======= Job 36:9 ============ Job 36:9 Then he sheweth them their work, and their transgressions that they have exceeded.(KJV) Job 36:9 Then will he shewe them their worke and their sinnes, because they haue bene proude.(Geneva) Job 36:9 Il leur dénonce leurs oeuvres, Leurs transgressions, leur orgueil;(FR) 9 ׃36 וַיַּגֵּ֣ד לָהֶ֣ם פָּעֳלָ֑ם וּ֝פִשְׁעֵיהֶ֗ם כִּ֣י יִתְגַּבָּֽרוּ׃ Job Job 36:9 Then He declares to them their work And their transgressions, that they have magnified themselves.(nasb) ======= Job 36:10 ============ Job 36:10 He openeth also their ear to discipline, and commandeth that they return from iniquity.(KJV) Job 36:10 He openeth also their eare to discipline, and commandeth them that they returne fro iniquity.(Geneva) Job 36:10 Il les avertit pour leur instruction, Il les exhorte à se détourner de l'iniquité.(FR) 10 ׃36 וַיִּ֣גֶל אָ֭זְנָם לַמּוּסָ֑ר וַ֝יֹּ֗אמֶר כִּֽי־יְשֻׁב֥וּן מֵאָֽוֶן׃ Job Job 36:10 "He opens their ear to instruction, And commands that they return from evil.(nasb) ======= Job 36:11 ============ Job 36:11 If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures.(KJV) Job 36:11 If they obey and serue him, they shal end their dayes in prosperity, & their yeres in pleasures.(Geneva) Job 36:11 S'ils écoutent et se soumettent, Ils achèvent leurs jours dans le bonheur, Leurs années dans la joie.(FR) 11 ׃36 אִֽם־יִשְׁמְע֗וּ וְֽיַעֲ֫בֹ֥דוּ יְכַלּ֣וּ יְמֵיהֶ֣ם בַּטּ֑וֹב וּ֝שְׁנֵיהֶ֗ם בַּנְּעִימִֽים׃ Job Job 36:11 "If they hear and serve Him, They will end their days in prosperity And their years in pleasures.(nasb) ======= Job 36:12 ============ Job 36:12 But if they obey not, they shall perish by the sword, and they shall die without knowledge.(KJV) Job 36:12 But if they wil not obey, they shal passe by the sworde, and perish without knowledge.(Geneva) Job 36:12 S'ils n'écoutent pas, ils périssent par le glaive, Ils expirent dans leur aveuglement.(FR) 12 ׃36 וְאִם־לֹ֣א יִ֭שְׁמְעוּ בְּשֶׁ֣לַח יַעֲבֹ֑רוּ וְ֝יִגְוְע֗וּ כִּבְלִי־דָֽעַת׃ Job Job 36:12 "But if they do not hear, they shall perish by the sword And they will die without knowledge.(nasb) ======= Job 36:13 ============ Job 36:13 But the hypocrites in heart heap up wrath: they cry not when he bindeth them.(KJV) Job 36:13 But the hypocrites of heart increase the wrath: for they call not when he bindeth them.(Geneva) Job 36:13 Les impies se livrent à la colère, Ils ne crient pas à Dieu quand il les enchaîne;(FR) 13 ׃36 וְֽחַנְפֵי־לֵ֭ב יָשִׂ֣ימוּ אָ֑ף לֹ֥א יְ֝שַׁוְּע֗וּ כִּ֣י אֲסָרָֽם׃ Job Job 36:13 "But the godless in heart lay up anger; They do not cry for help when He binds them.(nasb) ======= Job 36:14 ============ Job 36:14 They die in youth, and their life is among the unclean.(KJV) Job 36:14 Their soule dyeth in youth, and their life among the whoremongers.(Geneva) Job 36:14 Ils perdent la vie dans leur jeunesse, Ils meurent comme les débauchés.(FR) 14 ׃36 תָּמֹ֣ת בַּנֹּ֣עַר נַפְשָׁ֑ם וְ֝חַיָּתָ֗ם בַּקְּדֵשִֽׁים׃ Job Job 36:14 "They die in youth, And their life perishes among the cult prostitutes.(nasb) ======= Job 36:15 ============ Job 36:15 He delivereth the poor in his affliction, and openeth their ears in oppression.(KJV) Job 36:15 He deliuereth the poore in his affliction, & openeth their eare in trouble.(Geneva) Job 36:15 Mais Dieu sauve le malheureux dans sa misère, Et c'est par la souffrance qu'il l'avertit.(FR) 15 ׃36 יְחַלֵּ֣ץ עָנִ֣י בְעָנְי֑וֹ וְיִ֖גֶל בַּלַּ֣חַץ אָזְנָֽם׃ Job Job 36:15 "He delivers the afflicted in their affliction, And opens their ear in time of oppression.(nasb) ======= Job 36:16 ============ Job 36:16 Even so would he have removed thee out of the strait into a broad place, where there is no straitness; and that which should be set on thy table should be full of fatness.(KJV) Job 36:16 Euen so woulde he haue taken thee out of the streight place into a broade place and not shut vp beneath: and that which resteth vpon thy table, had bene full of fat.(Geneva) Job 36:16 Il te retirera aussi de la détresse, Pour te mettre au large, en pleine liberté, Et ta table sera chargée de mets succulents.(FR) 16 ׃36 וְאַ֤ף הֲסִיתְךָ֨ ׀ מִפִּי־צָ֗ר רַ֭חַב לֹא־מוּצָ֣ק תַּחְתֶּ֑יהָ וְנַ֥חַת שֻׁ֝לְחָנְךָ֗ מָ֣לֵא דָֽשֶׁן׃ Job Job 36:16 "Then indeed, He enticed you from the mouth of distress, Instead of it, a broad place with no constraint; And that which was set on your table was full of fatness.(nasb) ======= Job 36:17 ============ Job 36:17 But thou hast fulfilled the judgment of the wicked: judgment and justice take hold on thee.(KJV) Job 36:17 But thou art ful of the iudgement of the wicked, though iudgement and equitie maintaine all things.(Geneva) Job 36:17 Mais si tu défends ta cause comme un impie, Le châtiment est inséparable de ta cause.(FR) 17 ׃36 וְדִין־רָשָׁ֥ע מָלֵ֑אתָ דִּ֖ין וּמִשְׁפָּ֣ט יִתְמֹֽכוּ׃ Job Job 36:17 "But you were full of judgment on the wicked; Judgment and justice take hold of you.(nasb) ======= Job 36:18 ============ Job 36:18 Because there is wrath, beware lest he take thee away with his stroke: then a great ransom cannot deliver thee.(KJV) Job 36:18 For Gods wrath is, least hee should take that away in thine abundance: for no multitude of giftes can deliuer thee.(Geneva) Job 36:18 Que l'irritation ne t'entraîne pas à la moquerie, Et que la grandeur de la rançon ne te fasse pas dévier!(FR) 18 ׃36 כִּֽי־חֵ֭מָה פֶּן־יְסִֽיתְךָ֣ בְסָ֑פֶק וְרָב־כֹּ֝֗פֶר אַל־יַטֶּֽךָּ׃ Job Job 36:18 "Beware that wrath does not entice you to scoffing; And do not let the greatness of the ransom turn you aside.(nasb) ======= Job 36:19 ============ Job 36:19 Will he esteem thy riches? no, not gold, nor all the forces of strength.(KJV) Job 36:19 Wil he regard thy riches? he regardeth not golde, nor all them that excel in strength.(Geneva) Job 36:19 Tes cris suffiraient-ils pour te sortir d'angoisse, Et même toutes les forces que tu pourrais déployer?(FR) 19 ׃36 הֲיַעֲרֹ֣ךְ שׁ֭וּעֲךָ לֹ֣א בְצָ֑ר וְ֝כֹ֗ל מַאֲמַצֵּי־כֹֽחַ׃ Job Job 36:19 "Will your riches keep you from distress, Or all the forces of your strength?(nasb) ======= Job 36:20 ============ Job 36:20 Desire not the night, when people are cut off in their place.(KJV) Job 36:20 Be not carefull in the night, howe he destroyeth the people out of their place.(Geneva) Job 36:20 Ne soupire pas après la nuit, Qui enlève les peuples de leur place.(FR) 20 ׃36 אַל־תִּשְׁאַ֥ף הַלָּ֑יְלָה לַעֲל֖וֹת עַמִּ֣ים תַּחְתָּֽם׃ Job Job 36:20 "Do not long for the night, When people vanish in their place.(nasb) ======= Job 36:21 ============ Job 36:21 Take heed, regard not iniquity: for this hast thou chosen rather than affliction.(KJV) Job 36:21 Take thou heede: looke not to iniquitie: for thou hast chosen it rather then affliction.(Geneva) Job 36:21 Garde-toi de te livrer au mal, Car la souffrance t'y dispose.(FR) 21 ׃36 הִ֭שָּׁמֶר אַל־תֵּ֣פֶן אֶל־אָ֑וֶן כִּֽי־עַל־זֶ֝֗ה בָּחַ֥רְתָּ מֵעֹֽנִי׃ Job Job 36:21 "Be careful, do not turn to evil, For you have preferred this to affliction.(nasb) ======= Job 36:22 ============ Job 36:22 Behold, God exalteth by his power: who teacheth like him?(KJV) Job 36:22 Beholde, God exalteth by his power: what teacher is like him?(Geneva) Job 36:22 Dieu est grand par sa puissance;
