For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel:(KJV) Romans 9:6 Notwithstanding it can not bee that the worde of God should take none effect: for all they are not Israel, which are of Israel:(Geneva) Romains 9:6 Ce n'est point à dire que la parole de Dieu soit restée sans effet. Car tous ceux qui descendent d'Israël ne sont pas Israël,(FR) אֶפֶס לֹא־כֵן הַדָּבָר וּדְבַר־אֱלֹהִים לֹא נָפַל אָרְצָה כִּי לֹא־כֻּלָּם אֲשֶׁר מִיִּשְׂרָאֵל יִשְׂרְאֵלִים הֵם׃ ו Romans Rom 9:6 But it is not as though the word of God has failed. For they are not all Israel who are descended from Israel; (nasb) ======= Romans 9:7 ============ Rom 9:7 Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called.(KJV) Romans 9:7 Neither are they all children, because they are the seede of Abraham: but, In Isaac shall thy seede be called:(Geneva) Romains 9:7 et, pour être la postérité d'Abraham, ils ne sont pas tous ses enfants; mais il est dit: En Isaac sera nommée pour toi une postérité,(FR) וְלֹא כָל־זֶרַע אַבְרָהָם בָּנִים הֵם כִּי אַךְ בְּיִצְחָק יִקָּרֵא לְךָ זָרַע׃ ז Romans Rom 9:7 nor are they all children because they are Abraham's descendants, but: "THROUGH ISAAC YOUR DESCENDANTS WILL BE NAMED."(nasb) ======= Romans 9:8 ============ Rom 9:8 That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.(KJV) Romans 9:8 That is, they which are the children of the flesh, are not the children of God: but the children of the promes, are counted for the seede.(Geneva) Romains 9:8 c'est-à-dire que ce ne sont pas les enfants de la chair qui sont enfants de Dieu, mais que ce sont les enfants de la promesse qui sont regardés comme la postérité.(FR) וְזֶה יוֹרֵנוּ כִּי לֹא בְנֵי־הַבָּשָׂר בְּנֵי אֱלֹהִים הֵם כִּי אִם־רַק בְּנֵי הַהַבְטָחָה יֵחָשְׁבוּ לְזָרַע׃ ח Romans Rom 9:8 That is, it is not the children of the flesh who are children of God, but the children of the promise are regarded as descendants. May it never be! Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus?(KJV) Romans 9:20 But, O man, who art thou which pleadest against God? shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus?(Geneva) Romains 9:20 O homme, toi plutôt, qui es-tu pour contester avec Dieu? The thing molded will not say to the molder, "Why did you make me like this," will it?
