I have done no wrong to the Jews, as you also very well know. (nasb) ======= Acts 25:11 ============ Act 25:11 For if I be an offender, or have committed any thing worthy of death, I refuse not to die: but if there be none of these things whereof these accuse me, no man may deliver me unto them. To morrow, said he, thou shalt hear him.(KJV) Acts 25:22 Then Agrippa sayd vnto Festus, I would also heare the man my selfe. To morowe, sayd he, thou shalt heare him.(Geneva) Actes 25:22 Agrippa dit à Festus: Je voudrais aussi entendre cet homme. "Tomorrow," he said,"you shall hear him." (nasb) ======= Acts 25:23 ============ Act 25:23 And on the morrow, when Agrippa was come, and Bernice, with great pomp, and was entered into the place of hearing, with the chief captains, and principal men of the city, at Festus' commandment Paul was brought forth.(KJV) Acts 25:23 And on the morowe when Agrippa was come and Bernice with great pompe, and were entred into the Common hall with the chiefe captaines and chiefe men of the citie, at Festus commandement Paul was brought forth.(Geneva) Actes 25:23 Le lendemain donc, Agrippa et Bérénice vinrent en grande pompe, et entrèrent dans le lieu de l'audience avec les tribuns et les principaux de la ville. (nasb) ======= Acts 25:25 ============ Act 25:25 But when I found that he had committed nothing worthy of death, and that he himself hath appealed to Augustus, I have determined to send him.(KJV) Acts 25:25 Yet haue I found nothing worthy of death, that he hath committed: neuertheles, seeing that he hath appealed to Augustus, I haue determined to send him.(Geneva) Actes 25:25 Pour moi, ayant reconnu qu'il n'a rien fait qui mérite la mort, et lui-même en ayant appelé à l'empereur, j'ai résolu de le faire partir.(FR) וַאֲנִי מָצָאתִי כִּי לֹא־מְאוּם עָשָׂה לְהוּמֹת עַל־כָּכָה וְהוּא גַּם־הוּא קָרָא אֶל־אֲגוּסְטוֹס עַל־כֵּן גָּמַרְתִּי לְשָׁלְחוֹ אֶל־הַקֵּיסָר׃ כה Acts Act 25:25 "But I found that he had committed nothing worthy of death; and since he himself appealed to the Emperor, I decided to send him. Wherefore I have brought him forth before you, and specially before thee, O king Agrippa, that, after examination had, I might have somewhat to write.(KJV) Acts 25:26 Of whome I haue no certaine thing to write vnto my Lord: wherefore I haue brought him forth vnto you, and specially vnto thee, King Agrippa, that after examination had, I might haue somewhat to write.(Geneva) Actes 25:26 Je n'ai rien de certain à écrire à l'empereur sur son compte; c'est pourquoi je l'ai fait paraître devant vous, et surtout devant toi, roi Agrippa, afin de savoir qu'écrire, après qu'il aura été examiné.(FR) רַע לֹא־יָדַעְתִּי דְבָרִים בְּרֻרִים עַל־אֹדוֹתָיו לְכָתְבָם לַאדֹנִי וּבִגְלַל זֶה הֶעֱמַדְתִּיו לִפְנֵיכֶם וּבְיוֹתֵר לְפָנֶיךָ הַמֶּלֶךְ אַגְרִפַּס וְאַחֲרֵי הִבָּחֲנוֹ אֵדַע מָה אֶכְתֹּב׃ כו Acts Act 25:26 "Yet I have nothing definite about him to write to my lord. Therefore I have brought him before you all and especially before you, King Agrippa, so that after the investigation has taken place, I may have something to write. (nasb) ======= Acts 25:27 ============ Act 25:27 For it seemeth to me unreasonable to send a prisoner, and not withal to signify the crimes laid against him.(kjv) Acts 25:27 For me thinketh it vnreasonable to send a prisoner, and not to shewe the causes which are layde against him.(Geneva) Actes 25:27 Car il me semble absurde d'envoyer un prisonnier sans indiquer de quoi on l'accuse.(FR) כִּי לֹא־כָשֵׁר הַדָּבָר לִשְׁלֹחַ אִישׁ אָסוּר בְּחַבְלֵי חַטָּאתוֹ מִבְּלִי הוֹדַע מָה הִיא חַטָּאתוֹ אֲשֶׁר נֶאֱחָז בָּה׃ כז Acts Act 25:27 "For it seems absurd to me in sending a prisoner, not to indicate also the charges against him." (nasb) ======= Acts 26:1 ============ Act 26:1 Then Agrippa said unto Paul, Thou art permitted to speak for thyself. Then Paul stretched forth the hand, and answered for himself:(KJV) Acts 26:1 Then Agrippa sayd vnto Paul, Thou art permitted to speake for thy selfe. So Paul stretched forth the hand, and answered for himselfe.(Geneva) Actes 26:1 Agrippa dit à Paul: Il t'est permis de parler pour ta défense.
